PLEASE HELP iPhone 3G
My iphone 4 powered off by itself while i was using it. I know it didnt go dead, becuause it had 40% battery left, It will not charge, and my lock button is broken. It will not come on at all when i plug in the charger. Can someone please help and tell me if there is anyway i can power it back on myself?

My iPhone 5 won't stay powered down.
I am able to power down my iPhone 5, by sliding the red slider. But then about 30 seconds later, it powers back up by itself. I've already done the Sleep/Snooze button and the Home button together for 10 seconds, but to no avail. Any other suggestions?
Ringer not working iPhone 4S
When a call or text is coming throug there is no sound. The settings seem fine. When I switch the side button to red nothing happens. What used to happen would be the bell sign would come up with a line through it indicating the ringer was switched off but now nothing happens whichever way I switch it. Vibrate is switched on in settings but it isn't vibrating either. Interestingly the alarm is working so the sounds are not completely gone. I have powered it off an back on etc., but it hasn't made any difference. Any advice. Thanks Paula
iPhone 4 battery drain when powered off
Lately I've been turning off my phone and when I turn it back on battery is drained. Yesterday I turned it off at 80% and when I turned it back on 3 hours later it was at 62%. Then today I turned it off at 50% and when I turned it back on it was at 32%! Does anyone know why my iPhone is losing battery even when it's completely powered off? I feel like it shouldn't be losing any battery at all
Wifi greyed out on Iphone 4s
All of a sudden I lost my wifi signal....Checked out the settings and the WiFi is off and unable to turn it back on....i have powered down the phone...i have done a full restore and the wifi switched remains greyed out....any suggestions?

I went to an Apple store with my 3gs as i have a few problems the girl restored my phone back to factory settings. When i came home i conected my phone to itunes it says only compatible sim cards from a supported carrier may be used to activate iphone. please insert the sim card that came with your iphone or visit a supported carriers store to receive a replacement sim card. my sim card is inserted so has the girl that works at the apple store broke my phone. can someone please help as i live quite a bit away from an apple store. Hi there, Im scott, I dont own an iphone so know nothing whatsoever about them. this is our issue pls help : My sister purchased an iphone 4 from a woman at her work. Her husband upgraded to iphone 5 so sold his old one to my sister. My sister currently has a blackberry on contract to virgin media here in England. She took her BB along with her new iphhone to a local phone shop They cut her simcard down to size and put it into the iphone. When we turned it on we got this message 'only compatible sim cards from a support carrier....... ' I called our current contract to exdplain what we were intending to do and swap settings from a blackberry to her new iphone... they said we needed to contact the original service provider... here lies our issue. My sister works as a nurse.. she called her collgue to explain all this and ask what network he was on. She doesnot kno and her husband isnt home for another cpl weeks he is military. My sister doesnt want to wait a few weeks to use her new phone. Is there anyway to unlock and activate this phone giving all the detials of the phone and confirmation from his wife regarding the new user ? Ive read on the internet about jailbraking and all that nonsense.. but i dont want to damage the phone.. It isnt stolen isnt lost sureley i dont have to 'hack' into a perfectly legitimate phone to use do i? My sister simply wants it to work with her contracted sim .. with the benifits and features iphone offers. Please can someone help... model a1332
Battery life-iphone 4
Well I tried turning off the Bluetooth, turning off WIFI, turning off location services, and all Push activity. After all of this my battery lasts about 8 hours. I guess I could keep the phone powered off but I think that kind of defeats the purpose of owning the phone. Any studies on the lifespan of an iPhone 4 battery? My applecare warranty runs out in a few months.

My mom passed me her phone as she couldn't get it to restart. I got it to charge and restart in recovery mode. However, I've tried all steps on this and many other forums and it is stuck in "trying to restore". On the phone, it will blink a white screen, show the apple logo and a progress bar then quickly disappear then on the computer give me error code 9. I have tried 3 different cords, on both my MacBook Air and my iMac. Same results on both computers. She purchased a new phone as she couldn't do without, but would love to fix this phone and give to one of my children. This phone has not been jailbroken. Any help would be sooooo appreciated! Not sure what will happen if I try to take this to Apple.

Iphone 5 no longer connecting to bluetooth in car
My Iphone 5 has been connected succesfully via bluetooth to my car for the past 5 months (Ford Fiesta). Yesterday I went to use it and it wont connect, I powered off the phone, turned bluetooth on/off still not working. I debonded all phones from the car and went to start afresh but that wont work either. When it is searching for devices it just seems to be stuck? I tried another Iphone 5 in my car and that connected no problems at all. Anyone have any ideas, it clearly must be the phone but wonder what on earth I have done.
HD Voice not working although supported by operator iPhone 5
I upgraded from 3GS to 5 recently.My operator supports HD Voice calling.When I tried it from my iPhone 5 to any other phone which supports HD Voice, it was just regular call.In order to test we we in the same place several persons with HD Voice devices with the same operator.Between other devices it was OK.Putting others SIM cards into my phone didn't help. What else can I check? Any indicators, settings etc.?Is it iOS 6.1.3 which is installed or device itself?Wha could be done? Thanks for asnwering.

Need help unlocking my refurbished iPhone 4 from Vodafone
Hi all. I want to unlock my iPhone 4 from Vodafone (I'm out of contract and the phone won't work with SIM cards from other carriers). It's a replacement/refurb as my original phone died. Vodafone say they don't have the IMEI on file to authorise the unlock and need to request it to be transferred from Apple (which takes 5 working days). Is this right? Is there any way Apple can speed up the process for me?

iPhone 4s not charging
My iPhone 4s is not charging. Last few days it was eating up the battery life quicker than usual. Tried doing all the power up deals, turning off then on, even a restore. It is now completely powered off and not turning on even when plugged in. I'm out of ideas. A little help please!Thanks
After complete restore of iPhone 4 it still keeps turning off and has to be powered up again
We have been having trouble with our iPhone 4. It will just die. I researched the web and was able to find the information to restart it by pushing both buttons. This resets it, but does not last. I did a complete reset on the phone then updated it, but it continues to turn off and has to be restarted. It is out of warranty, any help would be great.
New iPhone shows Verizon as carrier but will not accept Verizon s card iPhone 5
I purchased a new Verizon iPhone 5 over the internet. The new phone shows the carrier as "Verizon 14.1" however Verizon does not have the MEID in their database and when I insert a Verizon sim card, I get an error that only Compatible Sim cards will work. Verizon is investigating to see what is causing this. Does anyone have any idea what may have happened?
iPhone 5 How to recover deleted photos
Hello, I recently got an iPhone 5 and been happily snapping away. However, the other day managed to delete a load of photos that didn't want to delete. I'm travelling and don't have a computer or have made any backups, via iTunes and neither Photostream or anything like that. I'd really like the photos back and wondering if there is a way of doing it? I'd put some in the app "Photo Vault" to try and keep some secure, but they're gone as well. I've used SD card software to recover photos from SD cards before with some success, and was wondering if there's a similar thing for iPhone? Thanks

I just started to get a SIM Failure Pop up on my iphone 5on Thursday while traveling and using Maps fornavigation. I cannot seem to remove or repair this error.I have gone to yoru support page and followedinstructions on how to reset network.I first tried to send a text and failure came up. Then resetnetwork and text went through, but pop up still came upwith Sim Failure every time I turn my phone on.I also followed instructions to remove Sim Card whenturned off and Reinserted it and that did not work either.What do I do? Vertical Grey lines iPhone 5
I dropped my iPhone from waist height flat onto the back (I have a zoogue case on it), and now grey vertical lines appear down the left side of the screen. I have powered off holding the home/power button, but nothing changed. I can't swipe to unlock it, so I can't type in my password in order to back it up over the cloud/my computer before resetting it. Has this happened to anyone? Suggestions? Home fixes? Or am I helpless?

IPhone 4S stopped reading S card after 6 months
I have iPhone 4S it has a H2o SIM card that's worked for about 6 months no problem then one day it said SIM card failure I powered phone on/off once and started working again. Two weeks later it took 3-4 times of me cycling power on/off and removing SIM card and reinstalling it in order to get it to work. Then a week later it did same thing but took even longer. Now it won't read at all and I thought it was SIM card so I went and bought a new SIM card but no change, I looked online for help and even tried to put tape on tray/card like someone said but no change(if I even putting the tape in right place. I tried several different ways) Nothing seems to work. My phone was manufactured between 19-25 of March 2012 so hopefully I can get warranty but not original owner so not sure. Does anyone have any idea what can cause this? Why hasn't Apple fixed this problem since its been happening for a long time

Hello everyone.. I'm very confused here; I own an iPhone 5 which I have on O2. I bought it outright from the Apple Store in Belfast and just transferred my Business Sim to a Nano Sim and use that in the phone. I am going to the USA soon (Miami) to be a leader at a Summer Camp for 9 weeks and need to use my iPhone while I'm over there. I have been researching AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verzion all for prices, but I'm still very confused.. I want to call back to the UK for a low price, as well as use the web for WhatsApp and FB messenger etc. Will not be texting back to the UK. I need to know the answer to these questions: 1. When I put my O2 sim into my iPhone (which was bought sim free) does it lock to O2?2. What carriers will support the UK iPhone 5 for LTE? Would like to try this feature out as Northern Ireland hasn't been hit with this yet (probaby never will until 2040 ffs) I understand Verzion will not work as it is CDMA.3. What carrier would be most suited for using in Miami? 4. What would the best price plan be (e.g. is there such thing as a Sim-Only monthly rolling contract or prepaid plans with only sim cards?) There is an article today indicated that the Associated Press has discovered that the iPhone 5 from Verizon Wireless is unlocked and will work with an AT&T sim on the AT&T Network. The article did not state if the phone will also work on other networks. A Verizon spokesperson has verified that indeed their version of the iPhone 5 is unlocked.

FYI guys. I powered down my phone for a couple hours, then went back to the App Store. It had a fifth update, but this time it allowed me to complete my updates. Dunno if that helps you guys.

As stated, iphone4S is the smartest phone available. I lost my iphone4S recently and the person who took it, immediately powered it off. I signed in icloud and put my phone in stollen mode using Find My Phone utility which is still pending. I got the sim blocked and reported to police. They will deal it in their own way. My question is: are there other methods to trace my phone?

iPhone 4S data not working
I have an iPhone 4S, 16GB with Virgin Mobile, and my data isn't working. The phone displays 3G, and I get between 3-5 bars, but every time I attempt to use an app that uses data or when I load a web page, it displays "Could not activate cellular data network. You are not subscribed to a cellular data service". Placing/receiving calls and texting still work, however. This isn't a location specific issue either. *I've tried dialing ##UPDATE# to activate "Starting Service Update" probably hundreds of times, unfortunately it always comes back as "Service Update Failed". *I've also reset Network Settings, and this did nothing for my iPhone. *I've called Apple and Virgin Mobile but they couldn't fix this issue. Virgin Mobile doesn't have an outage at the moment. Some of my friends have VM, and their phones work just fine. The phone works flawlessly when connected to WiFi. VM iPhones do not use SIM cards.

How to turn on powered off iPhone without hardware buttons
I'm trying to turn on my iPhone. It's powered off, and the lock button is broken. I think it turns itself back on when charged from 0%, but it was at 100% before this occurred, so it would take forever to drain the battery. Is there a way to kick the iPhone into being powered on?

Hey Everyone, I have ran into some serious issues with my iPhone recently. Back story:Changed from a 3GS to a 4.After a few days, "no sim card" would show up occasionally. Normally after the phone died, was turned off, or put in airplane mode. Was fixable through the steps outlined on Apple's website (airplane mode off and on/ejecting SIM Card)This was happening more and more often and becoming tougher to switch so I got a new SIM from AT&T. Tried putting my number on multiple sim cards and "No Sim Card" was displayed constantly and it never worked. Other people's SIM Card do work in my phone though, and the SIM Card with my number works in other people's phone.AT&T recommended a restore. I backed up the phone and started the restore process. After selecting a language, country, and wi-fi settings, I get this message on my iPhone "Activation request could not be completed. If the problem persist, please contact customer care." When its plugged into iTunes this message pops up:"We're sorry, we are unable to continue with your activation at this time. Please try again later, or contact customer care." -still shows No SIM Card.I tried restoring through recovery mode and still no luck. Can anyone please help me? Why do other SIM cards work in my phone? Why does mine work in other phones when it doesn't work in mine? Most importanly, how can I get my phone/SIM Card working again? will not charge unless unit powered off iPhone 4
I have an iphone 4 that is less than a year old that stopped taking a charge. So I let tje units battery die and one day decided to plug it in. It gav me the battery icon and indicated it was charging. As soon as it powered itself on it no longer showed the battery was charging and died a few minutes later. I'm really confuses by this.
