i wanna know what aplication that support to my ios 4.2
Ok so my friend got ahold of my iphone and downloaded the software from ios 7 onto it. When I went to take it off I just erased and reset the phone. While doing that it has now completely locked me out of my phone because the software she downloaded wasn't paid for. The screen is now telling me "the device is not registered as part of the iphone developer program." Does anyone have any suggestions? Turning the phone on or off, starting over as an option is not working. I'm not sure what else to do and I'm starting to freak out a little bit.
i open an application on my i phone 5, like facebook for ex, it opens for a while and then it shuts down and takes me back to i phones' main page
I tried to restore my iPhone to factory settings but it will not load anymore, it stopped at about 60% and in itunes it says "veryifing iphone settings" but will not load anymore, what do i do?
Whenever I try to sync my iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.3, to my new Asus computer with Windows 8, I get a message saying "iTunes cannot read the contents of this iPhone. Go to the Summary tab and restore." So I go to Summary and hit restore, and it doesn't seem do anything, other than want to download new iPhone software, which always takes about 4 hours, and I inevitably end up with some sort of error that prevents it from loading. I've removed and reinstalled iTunes, and restarted my phone, but it doesn't seem to work. I would like to be able to sync to my computer, but it doesn't seem to work. Before I was on an Asus computer with Windows 7 and it worked fine, and now I can't get it to work at all. I have the same Internet Security provider as before, so I don't think that's it. Can anyone figure out what I should do? Thanks
help!
I have installed iOS7 software and my phone will not work now. The message displaying is unable to activate phone is not registered as part of the iphone developer program.
Internet and texting working. Calls not working. Incoming outhgoing both. Rings but can hear anything on either sides. Please help!
I bought an iPhone 5 six months ago from Roger's Wireless and I also paid for the application of a screen protector, for a long time both of these worked very well and I had no problems. The other day I put my iPhone into my locker at work and came back a few hours later to find that two spots had appeared on the display. One was near the top of the screen and it looked like a dis-colored splotch while the other one, that was near the bottom of the screen, looked like someone tried to scratch the screen with a dull object . When I turn off the display and examined the outside of the phone there is no scratches or any other physical damage to the phone, I think it may have something to do with the LCD screen. Also, my locker was locked so I know no one was fooling around with it although humidity or something could have played a factor but I'm not entirely sure. The spots are relatively small but pretty annoying, before this my iPhone was in perfect shape . I'm not sure if I am covered by the one year warranty because my phone may have water damage (although I am not sure). I remember a few months back dropping it into a deep pile of snow and when I took it out it was pretty wet, but still continuted to work perfectly find. Regardless, I'm pretty sure thats accident caused the water damage indicators in my phone to be set off . I looked all over the internet and there is different ways of taking off the actual LCD screen and replacing it yourself but I think I would much rather get this done by a professional. I have also heard that the spots may go away eventually. I am not sure if I am going to send my phone in right away but any help at all would be awesome. Thanks!
I bought iphone4 on December 2012. It just switched off and while switching it on it went to recovery mode. So I took the iphone to apple authorised service provider (Ample Technologies,Chennai), they done software update and tried but it was still in recover mode. Finally they said that, they will provide replacement since my phone is under warranty. But after examining they said that its physically damaged and they will not provide any service and also asking me to get iphone back. I tried contacting the customer care India No and I talked to the Technical Manager but he simply said "UNFORTUNATELY WE DONT HAVE ANY OPTION TO PROVIDE YOU MAM, SO PLEASE COLLECT YOUR IPHONE FROM THE SERVICE CENTER". But the saddest part is eventhough I've my phone under warraanty I'm not given any service, they are just asking to throw it in the dustbin and wailk away. I just asked them provide hardware service. Now what shall I do????
I recently wiped my iphone and when I went through the process to set up, right after selecting a Wi-Fi network, I got a SIM Not Valid screen like the below. I am on AT&T and my phone has never been unlocked, hacked or jailbroken. I've replaced 3 phones as everytime I tried to reinstall software this happened. I got a new sim. No change. Tested my sim in another phone - it work. Tested working SIM in my iphone - SIM Not Valid message still. Does anyone have an idea why this happens after a wipe and resetting the phone?
Hello, I just replaced my 4S's display, and after reassembly the iPhone powered on as normal, but - there is no sound, mic or vibration what so ever. It doesn't detect a headphone jack either. The mute button and volume buttons work just fine, volume control shows up but there is no vibrate or sound at all. So this basically makes it useless as a phone ... Anyone know what could be causing the issue? I tightened the screws, tried reconnecting the cables and the speakers. Hoping this is not an issue with the audio IC. Definately not software related, tried full DFU restore, tried cleaning the dock connector and jack, the iPhone is NOT stuck in dock connector mode. TL;DR: No sound from any speaker, no vibrate what so ever, no mic, doesn't detect headphone jack. Anyone know what's wrong? Could it be a damaged Audio IC (don't really see how this can happen)? Broken flex cable?
Okay so i had problems with my iPhone earlier. It would power off randomly when I was or wasnt using it. And i also charged it when I had 30% but on the top right corner for the battery icon, where its suppose to show ' charging ' it showed Fully charged. and after it died, I plugged it back in with it saying its charging. The symbol with a low red battery with a charging sign. It stayed on that symbol for more than 12 hours and never turned on to the lock screen. And if i take it out of charge, it completely shuts off.But when i plug it back in , it has the apple symbol from when you turn it back on after you powered it off. It did that symbol repeatedly. Please help. The problem: Won't charge or turn on to lock screen Is there anyway I can do it besides taking it to Apple? Thanks (: I don't think I backed up anything, but I maybe did and I have lots of things on my phone. So is there any other solutions that I can use besides restoring it?

Hey, Is there an application for iPhone which can record long podcasts (about one hour), and with which I can re-record if I make a mistake ? Thanks for your help! PS: I use garageband but it can only record less than 15 minutes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSASlCyUp-Y
I tried to update my iPhones IOS and when I did, it said that I needed to restore my iPhone, so I did, or I tried. When I went to restore it, it worked for a little while, then stopped and pulled up a error that says "there was a problem downloading the software for the iPhone, " iPhone " . An unknown network error occurred (9006). I have searched everywhere for a solution to my problem, to find no solution. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, turning in off firewalls, virus protectors, etc. I am very desperate to fix this problem because my iphone is a paperweight until this problem is resolved, please help me!
I have an iPhone 4S. My software and iTunes versions are up to date. My computer runs Windows XP (not so up to date, I know). Here's my dilemma: I'm in the middle of a legal battle (details don't really matter). Point is, I need the ENTIRE conversation to use as evidence in court. Phones are not allowed in the courtroom so I'm left with no other option except to figure out how to print them. I have called my service provider to try and get the transcripts. They told me to call the Apple Help Center. I called Apple, they told me to talk to my service provider. The typical run around. I finally spoke with someone who somewhat sounded like they knew what they were doing, but their only suggestion for me was to download an app that would allow me to export the messages off of my phone onto my computer. Unfortunately, he could not suggest any app inparticular (go figure). Here's my other problem: because I'm in the middle of a legal battle, I'm a little short on funds. Does anyone know of any programs for download that are similar to BackupTrans that I can use for free? OR, there is an app in the AppStore called "SMS Export" made by Fabrizio Farenga for $5.99... Can anyone tell me if this app is worth the 6 bucks to purchase (does it actually work?)? I desparately need this conversation to use in court. Someone please give me some ideas!
On May 1, 2013 I received from my husband as a gift, an iPhone 5 16GB White (Model A1429) after his return from a trip to the African continent. I used the Iphone 5 for only 15 days, while the rear camera crashed. In an attempt to solve, restored the software and not solved. Then took the Iphone 5 Apple technical assistance in Recife / PE, called iTown where it was found that it was a hardware problem and Iphone 5 should be replaced. However when checking the model of Iphone 5 assistant coach said the serial number on my Iphone 5 (F1HK3LNGDTWF) was not authorized by Apple for replacement and that I should contact the Apple 0800. I made contact and technical support agent (# 451 886 701), Samir, informed me that the model of my iPhone 5 (A1429) is not warranted in Brazil and should submit to Apple in the country where it was purchased. Tell it had received a gift from my husband and had been acquired in a electronics store in Johannesburg international airport, not having expected to return to the country in the coming years. Requested that the equipment be sent through Apple Brazil, to the place where it was possible to repair or replace the Apple Iphone 5 Brazil defective by a new, but Samir informed me that he could not do anything for me and that very sorry. Well, I understand that Apple is a company present in several countries and that your warranty is worldwide. Still hopeful, I sent an email to Apple Feedback reporting the incident, but so far have not received any feedback. I'm very disappointed with Apple for this embarrassment and injury. The Iphone 5 cost USD 1,100.00 and in less than 15 days the camera stopped working.I await a return to Apple with the solution for the inconvenience caused.Sincerely,
i cant update my phone because its general setting has no software update :'(
I am stuck with a problem. I dropped my iPhone 4 (already had a shattered screen on this moment) accidentaly from 10cm (4 inches) on the rug. To my surprise I suddenly saw vertical lines and on a seperate part a color with a gradient which actually changes all the time, cool enough. My question is if I can do anything hardware or software related with this device to repair it without buying a new screen. I tried to restore, put in DFU this device but without results. Help me please! Here is a picture: http://postimg.org/image/dltf02i6r/ or

My i4S touch screen has spots where it does not work. It makes it difficult to use an app or even type words out. Is this a software problem? Or is it in the mechanics of the phone? Anyone else having issues? I'm not sure if I should just go to Apple store to get fixed. I know I will be charged and want to avoid that! help!
I really need help!
Hey all I work in an Apple reseller. We often do iOS updates for customers on their iPhones or iPads. Everytime I do an update for a customer, iTunes downloads the software update. I was wondering if it was possible to downlaod it once, and always use that file (until a newer iOS is released). Just seems an inconvenience that I have to redownload the software every single time. Any advice appreciated
From the day i upgraded my iPhone 4s to IOS 6.1.3 there are few software bugs such as Twitter and few other apps crashing, Personal Hotspot not working, and poor cellular data connectivity. May i know whether this problem is with the software or hardware part.
Why Apple has not given call recording feature inbuilt in Phone application itself. All external app's are internet based and cannot be used everywhere.
Is there a way to export messages (sms) from iPhone to Mac? Nokia allows this, I need to know if iPhone does too. With iCloud, or an other application on Mac? Or directly on iPhone? Thanks a lot!
Hey there! My friend actually sent me the ios7 download for the operating software but its taking me to a apple developer site to pay $99... now i have nothing on my phone and cant connect to restore on itunes. Any idea on how to get the Ios7 off my phone? *sigh*
Hi, I wanted to try it but I got an error since yesturday: The iPhone cannot be restored at this time because the iPhone software update server could not be contacted or is temporary unavailable, I'm on windows. I have extracted the dmg with PowerISO and all went well except the error that I get all the time.I do not have any jailbreak or anything bad on phone. Can anyone please tell me how to fix this? Thank you,Claudiu
Sorry I cant remember, it was a couple of hours ago, but no ive never had any kind of jail break device on my phone, i read that tinyumbrella can help you sort it, but it just played havoc with my pc, so I removed all of the associated software.
Is it possible to backup sms text messages and imessages from an iphone outside of itunes then restore them from a mac to an iphone through a third party app or software? My iphone backup is corrupt per apple and they are suggesting starting from scratch due to a software issue, but i'd like to restore by messages.
Is there a way to recover deleted text messages from an iPhone(5)... with/without a 3rd party software?

Help?

Is there any way I can upload the original iOS 1.0 software on my iPhone 4? If so, can one of you more experienced Apple users please walk me through the steps on installing it? I loved the original 1.0 software; it was simplistic yet very functional. However, the original iPhone I once had is now defunct. I currently have an iPhone 4 and would like to return to using iOS 1.0. I'm also not really interested in the new upgraded version of iOS that was detailed in today's keynote address. I hope someone is able to help me with this. I'm looking forward to returning to the days that once were...the days of iOS 1.0!
I was trying to download music on ITunes and my phone was plugged into the computer, then something popped up asking if I wanted to download a new software and I did. It downloaded and then my phone turned off. It won't turn back on but the screen has a picture of an auxiliary chord and an arrow pointing towards the ITunes icon. So I plugged it back into ITunes and it still won't turn on and that picture won't go away either. I have tried holding down the lock button & home button at the same time for 10 seconds but that didnt do anything either. I have no idea how to get it back on. PLEASE HELP
I still don't have software update of IOS 7
I tried everything I saw here on Apple Support Communities, I cleaned my headphone jack & charging port. Blowdry it but nothing happened. Please help. Is this a hardware or a software problem? Thank you.
I decided to do a system restore on my Iphone 4 GSM yesterday. Now it keeps getting stuck at around 10% when 'Restoring Iphone software'.The IOS was up to date, so is the Itunes version. It's in recovery mode, and I can't turn it back on, install the IOS again or anything of the sort. I tried restoring it from DFU also, it still won't work. Tried reinstalling Itunes, to no avail. I don't believe it's bricked, is it? Since it is being recognised when connected to Itunes.Any chance it gets stuck like that just because it takes a long time to restore it? (I had a lot of stuff on it, and it's the first proper restore attempted on this device) Any idea of how I might fix this? Thanks in advance.
My iPhone 4S has taken to turning off with as much as 30% power left. When I plug it in again and it comes back up, it will indicate the same power percentage. I have made it a habit of draining the battery at least once a month and then fully charging it (probably that happens more than once a month), so I feel like I've been properly maintaining the battery. I got this when the 4S came out, so it's as old as the 4S model is. Oddly, if I'm on the phone this does not happen. It will run down to 1%. Maybe that's coincedence, maybe not. It's quite irritating - isn't this supposed to be the software/hardware that "just works"? - when you're doing something important and this happens. Today two armadillos appeared in our back yard and I was shooting some video of them. I got a low battery warning - I'm not sure if it was the 10% or 20% warning - but then right after clearing it, the phone shut down. I had some good video, but instead of using the remaining power to save the video, the video was just lost. I had never seen armadillos up close like that and was wanting that video to show my son and some other people, but now due to this problem that video is gone. Thanks a lot, Apple!
I have had about 34 notes on the Notes application. Now they are gone. I just backed up the phone from the latest data on the computer and when I checked the Iphone, the data was there in Notes. Then it just disappeared as if I had deleted the data myself. Can't figure out what I have changed that would cause the loss of information. Please help.
Depending on what Operating system your computer runs you should follow on of the articles below to troubleshoot the issue with your phone not being recognised in itunes. my iphone does not instaal any application and i get error code 1009
My wife took her phone to the Apple store for a bad speaker and short battery life. They replaced the speaker and ran diagnostics and determined that Springboard was bad. They can reflash the phone, and she can restore content from the cloud, but will lose all her stored SMS messages. She can do a full backup to our computer, but Apple said if she restores from that, the problem will return to Springboard. This was incredulous to me that Apple would mix data with programs and have this issue. Another appointment at the Genius bar and I went with her. Same story from Apple. They even gave me an analogy that if you car has a problem caused by bad oil and you drain the oil and fix the problem, and then put the old oil back in, the problem returns. I thought a more apt analogy is having to remove the radiator to fix your air conditioner, and putting the antifreeze back in the radiator after reaasembly. It will NOT break the A/C again. I found some third party applications that may do what is needed for $20-$70. The Apple store had their canned spiel on third party applications. Has anyone else experienced this problem and is there a workaround? And is it believable that the world's largest technology company still writes their software this way?
