Newsstand Subscriptions. PLEASE HELP iPhone 3G

Recently, I just sold my ipad fourth generation.  I know stupid mistake, but while the ipad was in my posession, I subscribed and downloaded three different subscriptions:  TIME, Newsweek, and game Informer.  At the time, I had mistakingly thought that all newsstand apps were cross compatible between the ipad and iphones. IS THERE ANY POSSIBLE WAY TO BE ABLE TO USE THESE MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTIONS?  either by .pdf back up, or maybe by the real issues.  I paid the company to see their product,  the magazine, not apple.  It doesnt seem fair that ive paid for the magazines but now have no way to even view them without an ipad.  does anyone have any clues as to what i can do to possibly be able to recieve my magazines that i rightly paid for?  like i said maybe a back up, an app that will make them available, maybe a web site or a reader that i can use to view them.  It just does not seem right that a paid magazine subscription is only viewable on an ipad, when the iphones also have newsstand.  There has to be SOMEWAY to get my magazines....please please please please help me...the person who actually purchased the subscriptions is no longer with me, so being able to read them also has a sentimental value.  please please please will someone help me

iphone 4S restore error codes 2006 and 2001. what these actually mean

My son's phone suddenly stopped working. We connected it to the Imac using the USB cable and it came up with a restore procedure suggestion to resolved the issue. We downloaded the latest version of ITunes and then we followed the restore process. I then see a pop up error message: The iphone "iphone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (2001).  So I disconnected from the IMac reconnected and re-ran the restore procedure. This time we got the same message but with a 2006 error code.  The phone is less than a year old (bought for Christmas). It has been taken care of with no scratches, bangs or drops. What is happening and what do I need to resolve? Is it something that can be fixed?should it cost me (is this under warranty) to resolve / repair? Hopefully someone can help. Thanks Paul

4S-No sound from speaker no mic no vibration doesn't detect headphones iPhone 4

Hello, I just replaced my 4S's display, and after reassembly the iPhone powered on as normal, but - there is no sound, mic or vibration what so ever. It doesn't detect a headphone jack either. The mute button and volume buttons work just fine, volume control shows up but there is no vibrate or sound at all.  So this basically makes it useless as a phone ... Anyone know what could be causing the issue? I tightened the screws, tried reconnecting the cables and the speakers. Hoping this is not an issue with the audio IC. Definately not software related, tried full DFU restore, tried cleaning the dock connector and jack, the iPhone is NOT stuck in dock connector mode. TL;DR: No sound from any speaker, no vibrate what so ever, no mic, doesn't detect headphone jack. Anyone know what's wrong? Could it be a damaged Audio IC (don't really see how this can happen)? Broken flex cable?

Okay so i had problems with my iPhone earlier. It would power off randomly when I was or wasnt using it. And i also charged it when I had 30% but on the top right corner for the battery icon, where its suppose to show ' charging ' it showed Fully charged. and after it died, I plugged it back in with it saying its charging. The symbol with a low red battery with a charging sign. It stayed on that symbol for more than 12 hours and never turned on to the lock screen. And if i take it out of charge, it completely shuts off.But when i plug it back in , it has the apple symbol from when you turn it back on after you powered it off. It did that symbol repeatedly. Please help. The problem: Won't charge or turn on to lock screen  Is there anyway I can do it besides taking it to Apple? The iPhone 4 may not have a fast enough processor for your game, or may have too many apps running.  Try double clicking hte home button, touch and hold an app along the bottom edge until they all start to shake and a red circle with a minus sign appers on the corner of each.  Touch each red circle to dismiss all of those apps.  Then do a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears and it restarts.  Ignore the red slider if that appears. Now try starting your game again and see if it works better.

Erasing data from iphone 4 and installing new data from iphone 3gs

A friend has given me her iphone 4.  It still has all her data on it.  I want to install my data and erase hers.  How can I do this and make sure my data is safe.  I connected her phone to my computer thinking that I could reset it back to factory settings but it seemed that my computer wanted to save the data off the phone first.  I don't want to do this.  What's the easiest way of wiping her phone clean and then installing the data from mine? There are a couple of game apps on her computer that I'm happy to keep.  Is it easy to save these?  I'm prepared to erase them with the rest of the data from her phone if it's a problem.

Battery Drain issue while recording video Iphone 5

Iphone 5 that I've had for less than a year seems to have horrible battery life. I'm mainly on wifi all day long with very strong signal. Most of my 8-10 hr day is occassionally checking my hotmail or exchange email.  My Time since last charge currently at 43%: usage is 3hrs and 34 minutes, and standby time of 9 hours and 35 minutes.  The strangest issue I'm having is when I record video. I'll usually record 2-3GB worth of video (over 8-10 videos) in a day depending on what I'm uploading to youtube. I'll record a bunch of video, and look at the battery life. It will drop down to 2-3% after recording, and sometimes even shut the phone all the way off. Press the power button and it blinks at you to plug it in. I'll go plug it in, and when it powers back on, it will be anywhere from 20-50% power (1 minute after plugging it in).  Yesterday it was down to 3%, so I powered it off, then back on again, and it jumped back up to 54% I've done a wipe and reset to factory and restore from iCloud and that doesn't seem to have done much.  I've drained the battery all the way dead, and let it recharge fully mulitple times, no help their either. I'm using the factory Iphone charging cable and wall charger.  Has anyone seen this before? Do I have a faulty battery? I've recorded hundreds of videos with my iphone 4 and never had issues with excessive drain while recording, and the same on my wife's 4S..Thanks

I have no problem at all with my iPhone and I can play my games finely, until unexpectedly I tried to play a game but It doesn't start. The iPhone turn black in half second (temporary thing before the game loads), and it turn to the main screen. Hi guys i got my iPhone 5 about 2 week after launch and about 3 weeks later i lost all sound clicks from text's, game apps, YouTube wouldn't play any videos and it worked perfectly fine when i went to bed wake up in the morning to this.  I rebooted the phone and this resolved the issue, the phone was not in silent mode via settings or via the slider at the top of the phone.  the phone would be working fine for about 3 weeks then this would happen again same issues as above this went on till about the 14th December and Apple decided to change my phone now its happening again.  I am at a lose end does anybody know a fix or heard of this before as i am sure this problem could not happen too 2 different phones ?  Thanks

Crashing and screen flickering problems. iPhone 4

I too have had the "flickering/flashing" screen problem...I received my first iPhone 4 on release day (6/24); had no display issues until 3 days later, on 6/27. First occurred while on call in car; phone continued to work but display was black; had to do the two-button "hard restart" method to reboot phone. I was away on vacation for a week (not near an Apple Store), and phone continued to have this issue at least once/day. It could be on any screen or app...had it occur on calendar, a game, the home screen, etc. It would begin flashing ~8 times, then go to a "lit up black" (not off but slightly and evenly lit up black). Sometimes it would be 75% black, w/ a whiter "band" across the top 25% of the display.I discovered that sometimes if I quickly hit the button on top while it was still flashing, I could "save it."I have videoed this (using my 3GS phone...now my wife's) a few times, and it also did it at the Genius Bar at my local Apple Store last Friday (7/9) when I returned it. They saw it in-person, and watched one of my videos, and promptly gave me a replacement phone.However, the NEXT day, 7/10, my replacement iPhone 4 has started to do a similar thing...no "flashing/flickering", just goes to the "lighter black" screen. First occurred when trying to open the calendar. I contacted Tech support and spoke to someone at Apple for ~1 hour, who said there have been NO reported display issues from others, and thought it perhaps was due to a corrupt "Restore from backup" file. She suggested that I do a regular restore (not from backup), but I have hesitated to do so yet, instead looking/waiting to see if others have had this issue, as I don't want to lose contact, texting & calendar info.She also said it was not good to perform the "hard restart" (two button) function very much... I eventually have tried the "slide to power off" across the top of the black screen, and phone turned off and could restart with just the single (upper) button. So the phone is ON...just display isn't...I am an AVID iPhone user (have had the 2G, 3GS and now 4 model) for 2 1/2 years, and this won't make me "switch"...I just want it FIXED..!

When a call or text is coming throug there is no sound. The settings seem fine. When I switch the side button to red nothing happens. What used to happen would be the bell sign would come up with a line through it indicating the ringer was switched off but now nothing happens whichever way I switch it. Vibrate is switched on in settings but it isn't vibrating either. Interestingly the alarm is working so the sounds are not completely gone.  I have powered it off an back on etc., but it hasn't made any difference. Any advice. Thanks Paula

iPhone 4 battery drain when powered off

Lately I've been turning off my phone and when I turn it back on battery is drained. Yesterday I turned it off at 80% and when I turned it back on 3 hours later it was at 62%. Then today I turned it off at 50% and when I turned it back on it was at 32%! Does anyone know why my iPhone is losing battery even when it's completely powered off? I feel like it shouldn't be losing any battery at all

iPhone 5 seizing randomly-unable to be used

I am not the most technically inclined, so please bear with me.  About two months ago, lines began showing up in Safari every now and again. They would go away, so I didn't think too much of it. Then one night, while in a game app, the screen began "flashing" like a strobelight. It couldn't exit the app fully, was blinking half the screen in the app, part of the home screen, etc. You cannot see throught the commotion to use the phone, if the programs can even open. This happened all evening, through the night, and the entire following day. Then it stopped.  It was fine when I took it to the AT&T store (the closest Apple store is 45 minutes away, so I wanted to be sure AT&T couldn't do anything for me) but by opening and closing programs and apps, I was able to force it to act up. Of course when I left the store, it worked fine again.  It was fine for a few days, acting up only a time or two, but I drove 45 minutes to the Apple store. My Genius Bar member told me it was software based and that I should restore the phone, download the software again, and manually add my media back on. After the four+ hours of downloading and 2+ hours of adding media, it was fine again. That was about two weeks ago. Now it's back.  I looked into the diagnostics (what I can see through the noise on the screen) and I have many different errors going on. Googling these errors codes is not providing much information, and again, I am not the best with this stuff.  SO:-Is a latestcrash.plist or mediaserverd.plist the same as a panic.plist code? In turn, if they are, will Apple replace the phone as they supposedly do in the case of panic.plist crashes? -I've noticed a bunch of the issues seem related to audio and video functions on the phone. I have AudioToolbox, CoreFoundation, and CoreQuartz codes, for example. Are these things that would justify a replacement? I am sitting through another 4 hour software download right now in order to restore the phone again, but am afraid to lose that diagnostics info, but also cannot see the screen to send any diagnostics info to Apple. Is this something that is software based? Does that mean I am going to be doing this every few weeks? The phone is only 6 months old, but I don't want to let it go and loet the one year manufacturer's warranty.  I apologize for being so verbose but I really cannot find anything online that sounds similar to what my phone is doing. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Battery life-iphone 4

Well I tried turning off the Bluetooth, turning off WIFI, turning off location services, and all Push activity.  After all of this my battery lasts about 8 hours.  I guess I could keep the phone powered off but I think that kind of defeats the purpose of owning the phone. Any studies on the lifespan of an iPhone 4 battery?  My applecare warranty runs out in a few months.

I have a friend I am trying to add in game Center. We have both tried to add each other. I have 3 different phones (2 iphone 5s and an iphone 4) from which I have tried to add her. Nothing seems to work. We have also tried to add from another user in GC. She is in Europe, and I am in USA. I have added "friends" from other countries. My mom passed me her phone as she couldn't get it to restart.  I got it to charge and restart in recovery mode.  However, I've tried all steps on this and many other forums and it is stuck in "trying to restore".  On the phone, it will blink a white screen, show the apple logo and a progress bar then quickly disappear then on the computer give me error code 9.  I have tried 3 different cords, on both my MacBook Air and my iMac.  Same results on both computers.  She purchased a new phone as she couldn't do without, but would love to fix this phone and give to one of my children.  This phone has not been jailbroken.  Any help would be sooooo appreciated!  Not sure what will happen if I try to take this to Apple.

Iphone 5 no longer connecting to bluetooth in car

My Iphone 5 has been connected succesfully via bluetooth to my car for the past 5 months (Ford Fiesta).  Yesterday I went to use it and it wont connect, I powered off the phone, turned bluetooth on/off still not working. I debonded all phones from the car and went to start afresh but that wont work either. When it is searching for devices it just seems to be stuck?  I tried another Iphone 5 in my car and that connected no problems at all. Anyone have any ideas, it clearly must be the phone but wonder what on earth I have done.
