Hi, i wanted to play live roulette on my iPhone 5 as i was doing it on my pc. But it failed cuz of my phone didn't support java. What should i do?
can we get apple to make a fix to download that would enable the bluetooth file sharing with any deivce? i would like to to stay with Apple iphone but if they dont improve the lack of features.. i will move on and I know im not the only person to think like this. regardsgavin_p
I bought the iPhone 5 from Star One Mobile in Sim Lim Square Singpore recently. After reaching my place , just found that the serial number and IMEI number in my iPhone 5 product and the packaging box are different. When I check on the website the packaging number shows the product is replaced but the number in product shows valid. Can some one explain the difference?I did not anticipate an Apple product having a difference in serial and IMEI number from the packaging --- probable that the Star one mobile could have changed the package?
I have Iphone 5 here in Oman. But there is no any option of enable LTE in cellular settings. Why is it so? Mobile Operators have LTE services and my SIM is also privisioned with LTE. I cannot see an option of "enable LTE" at all ...... Carrier Supports LTE for iPhone 5 - Middle East 3 Country Supports UAE,Saudi Arabia,Kuwait but Oman ( omantel ) ?
I made an in-app purchase but didn't get my item. I confirmed my purchase recieved my email receipt but no item. When in my receipt I hit the link to report a problem and am dumped into the neverending "support" website. I've made my way here- can someone give me an idea on what to do next? thanks
iPhone 5 on Verizon upgraded to 6.1.4 (over the air, not via iTunes) has resulted in the phone giving priority to 3G in areas where LTE is available. I am able to get LTE when I disable and enable the radoio (Airplane Mode). Unless I force this, my phone is either on WiFi or 3G. LTE is enabled (Settings -> General -> Cellular -> enable LTE: On). Is anyone else experiencing this?
Do not buy Apple product in Belgium, there is no support!!! So, here it goes: Three day ago I bought an iPhone 5, at a Mobistar shop in Belgium. 700 euros. Unfortunaly, it has a defective screen, light bleeding at the top of the screen. So I went back to the shop, to get an exchange. But no, they refused. They have to send it back to Apple for repair. It will take three weeks. But I can't stay 3 weeks without a phone. And I can't just pop the sim card into an old phone, either: it's a micro-sim, and the iPhone is the only one who uses that... Except maybe if I buy another new, top of the line phone... And I don't have the money to do that... So I call Apple, directly: "Did you buy it on our website? Sorry, nothing we can do. You have to go through the operator." So basically, I am screwed. I have to keep the defective iPhone. Thank you Apple Belgium! Thank you Mobistar!

I have an iPhone 4. I've only had it for two months and the 'other' option in my memory is 3.07 gb. Why is it so much? I deleted my music and photos, cleared cookies and history, and all of that but it just went down to 2.94. Help?
I have a iPhone 4 and it's always connected to wifi perfectly but a couple weeks it just stop connecing to my home wifi. I have iPhone 4S and using chrome app. Google recently give me a lot of problem, it redirect to me to some website I never heard before such as http://corp.kaltura.com/. It was different website couple days ago. I tried on Safari, both app will have problem at the same time. If I can use google, Safari and chrome will both work, if google has problem, both will have problem (google only). I tried on search box or type google.com, clear all the histories and cookies. Could not solve problem. Sometimes turn off the iphone then turn it back on will temperately solve the problem, but it come back again. Yahoo search engine has no problem at all. Anyone know how to fix that PS: sometimes I get google authentication requirement, but this redirect issue is not link to that. They are happen at two different times

hi guyz i just brought an unlocked verizon iphone 4s and i wanna know is it safe to sync iphone to my pcwithout losing my unlock? idk kno if itz factory or not but i dont have cydia.one thing that scares me tho is that, i know when i sync I'll lose all apps, and it came with an app called APN (unlockit.co.nz)which states when i open it: iphone APN changer this website will set mobile carrier info for dat access when you cannot editor do not kno settings. it dose not jailbreak or carrier unlock iphones click on the icon below to choose what you wish to do. i dont really know if i need this or not but itz another reason i been hesitantto sync my iphone. sorry for sounding like such a noob but i could use somehelp. Hi. I was wondering how to backup game and app data on the iPhone 4S? I have quite a few games on my iPhone that I would like to be able to play again in case something happens to my device. I have already been on the Apple Support website where it lists what iTunes will backup. It says that it will backup application settings, data, and preferences. I was wondering if the application data that Apple is mentioning includes game progress? Thank you for your help.

As the subject says, my iPhone 5 software 6.1.3 has been acting weird, beyond a constant battery drain, recently I have noticed that my eBay app will not work/connect unless I am on WiFi. It's also the same for some websites on Safari, one being www.tfw2005.com (a transformers fan site I always go to). I just noticed this the other day. I've tried resetting my networking settings, hard-reset, deleting the app and reinstalling and nothing. I'm not sure why it would single out that one website either. I get the N1 error can't connect after trying to use the eBay app and TFW site. Any suggestions?

Apple's support website has useless information. apple has created a buggy update and knows it. but instead of fixing the problem, they provide you a workaround, which does not take into account lost data (ie photos, contacts, etc.) how stupid is that?

Hey, For some reason when I opened my iTunes Movie Trailers App today, none of the Arclight Cinemas in LA are listed (they used to be). They're not on the theatre map and none of the showtimes appear. Did something happen? Is this just a short term glitch (i.e. they forgot to report their showtimes)? did Arclight purposely request to be removed from the app? Or is the app just being stupid? Is anyone else noticing this issue? I also checked the website, http://trailers.apple.com, and they aren't listed on there either, so I'm wondering if it's a company policy thing... P.S. I wanted to list this under a "iTunes Movie Trailers App" location but couldn't find any such thing in the support communities. Did I miss it?

Hi, three weeks ago my bank card was compromised by online transactions made by someone else to a car dealership. I have no association with a car so these transactions wasn't used by myself. I reported it as fraud. The money was refunded back into my account but in the meantime I was issued with a new card and a new pin. Last week, the same transactions happened with my new card. Again, I reported fraud. An adviser told me that it looks like my iPhone was hacked into by possibly using an unsafe and open WiFi area. Is it possible that an iPhone can get hacked into and for them to retrieve sensitive information such as bank details, address etc? And if so, what free app can I get to protect all my details, including my bank details. I do a lot of purchasing online via eBay and iTunes. I never, never give my bank details to anyone, nor have I purchased anything online using an insecure website, as I know not to do this. But, my main question is, can my iPhone 5 get hacked into or get a virus and if so, what protection can I install for this to never happen again. Bear in mind I do not have a laptop or a pc. I only have my iPhone 5. Thank you to anyone in advance for helping me with my infuriating problem.

I have continuously over the last 6 months struggled with syncing my iphone and ipod with itunes The app continually crashes during the picture import. AND by the way it takes 10-15 minutes before it even attempts to import photos. The screen says importing photoes but doesnt try to optimize or anything for 10 minutes. I have a 3gs with 16Gb so its not a cheap phone. I have 10Gb free. I have 6600 photoes. this is very frustrating and undermines my confidence in your products. My ipod is an ipod 4 with 16Gb also. It does the exact same thing to it. The last time, I had to import photoes a few at the time and with it taking 10-15 minutes each time for 6600 photos it is a long frustrating process. But it will import every photo a few at a time. The error message is just that itunes has stopped working. no hint as to why. AND of course, my phone is out of use for the entire time. You guys must not want to believe ur phones are a necessary tool...or maybe you dont want the consumer to believe it is. I have tried to find solutions on your website as well as through other 3rd party communities. Ultimately they were of no use. I stumbled onto my solution by accident since Im a bit of a computer geek...a semi-geek.
I have recently purchased a new Lexus GS250 car which requires a phone that will connect to the internet using (DUN) dial up networking.Im lead to beleive that the Iphone has never had this technology as it is quite old. Im also lead to beleive that a Blackberry will connect tothis technology. My phone is an Iphone 5 can apple adjust the software to enable this function or not.
I got my first audiobook with the free Audible trial yesterday and after I downloaded it from the Audible website, I was able to open it and listen to it in iTunes on my MacBook. However, when I synced my IPhone to my MacBook, everything but the audiobook got transfered over. The audiobook was categorized under "audiobooks" in iTunes, so I know that the audiobook did not get thrown into a playlist under music in iTunes. I confirmed this after searching through my iTunes library. in itunes, I even made sure to check the box saying "Sync Books", however, I noticed that iTunes did not give me the option of changing the drop down menu specifying what kinds of book would be synced to the iPhone. I attached a print screen of this menu. As you can see, this drop down menu is frozen (light grey) and is restricted to only books and PDFs, which I assume does not include audiobooks. In the end, my Audible mobile app shows that my audiobook has not been put on the iPhone because whenever I press the "Refresh" button, it shows that the iPhone had not yet been downloaded (I couldn't downloaded it through 3G because the audiobook exceeded 50MB). Thank you, and hopefully you can help me figure this issue out.
its been a while now since i updated my apps and i faced a problem where it wont let me .i wanted to download an app but it didnt accept my password!i clicked update and then it asked me for my password whcih i typed in, then it it said Your Apple ID or password is incorrect. with the options of cancel or retry. so i did at least 5 times and kept doing it everyday but it still wouldnt work!! so i decided to log out and use another apple ID this time it let me download apps how ever it still wouldnt let me update. this time when it asked for the password the account dispayed was the old one (account that didnt accept the password) i got confused as to why it was still the old apple ID displayed when in fact i was signed in with another Apple ID? so i put the password from the old account ....still nothing worked, tried the password from the Current Id i am signed in with still none!!! i logged onto the apple website and there was problems there too!! i got the password changed and everything but it still wont let me update any of my apps!! and this is not just in one phone but two !! iphone 5 and iphone4 is there a bug on my phone ? how do i fix this ? i think the problem started when i updated to io6 like a while after i updated it
Bluegrass Cellular is suppose to have LTE for their iphone 5 but the keep saying Apple won't send them new SIM cards for the phone. Why would apple send an update to enable lte, then not issue SIM cards for it?
I have an iPhone 4s running iOS 6.1.2. I have synced Facebook contacts with phone contacts, I also have the Facebook App. I have disabled Facebook in notifications (no banners, off on every option), I go into Calendar and disable the "Birthdays" under "Facebook", I have even diabled Birthdays for phone contacts. Once another birthday comes along the option in Facebook Birthdays for Calendar is enabled as if by magic and up pops a notification. I disable it again and once another birthday comes along, hey presto it enables itself again with another message. The phone contacts birthdays does not re-enable itself, just the Facebook Birthdays. Seems like either a bad Facebook "bug" which is legally a privacy infringment, or an iPhone bug.
I have my Facebook account setup in the iPhone settings. Both Contacts and Calendar can access it to display their relevant information, but when some App Store app try to use the account, it always fails. For example, if I try to login to 9gag (using their app, not their website of course) using my FB account, the app says it cannot access the account – even though I authorized it. Same goes for BuzzFeed, or StumbleUpon (the latter doesn't even appear in the list of authorized apps BTW).please note that I'm talking about the integrated FB login feature. Apps that redirect you to the FB website/app and ask for permission there are working just fine. I have a 3GS with 6.1 and both 9gag and StumbleUpon were updated in February 2013.
Dear Contacts Journal Support Team, Each time i have been trying what you put up for me,i always delete The Application Completely,then go to iTune Apps Store to re-download it. I know the apps store will not give me an old version,that is why i do not use my Mac or iMac to replace the application however this has also been updated on my Macs. I reiterated in my message yesterday that,it is not that what you asked me to do is not working or i did not follow your instructions into details. I did follow every steps you stated. The end result is that, WHEN IT REACHES DATA MIGRATION,THE SCREEN WILL BE BLACK OR LIGHT BLUE BLACK,WITH A WHITE SCROLLING LINE THREAD ON THE DEVICE SCREEN,MEANING MIGRATION IS ABOUT TO TAKE PLACE. this WILL MOVE FOR ABOUT 2 or 3SECONDS,AND IT WILL CRASH. I have tried this several time,i do not mind starting all over again,i just want it to work with iCloud. You'll have to open the Settings app and go to the same Show All page again, just so the device tries to connect to iCloud again. (if you don’t see it, then look for “icloud” with a blank white icon). Here, press the Edit button, then the Delete All button. this will clean out your iCloud database. Note that it will take a few minutes for your data to be deleted from your other devices, and you shouldn’t try syncing any of your devices to iCloud in the meantime. - Now restart all your devices by powering them down, then power them back up again.- On your device with the latest data, turn on iCloud. If it gives an initial message saying "iCloud data already exists", then press Cancel. It means it hasn't updated from iCloud that you deleted the data. You'll have to open the Settings app and go to the same Show All page again, just so the device tries to connect to iCloud again. Wait a few minutes before trying to enable iCloud again.- After it's done transferring the information to iCloud, wait a few minutes, then connect your 2nd device to iCloud and let it connect with the existing iCloud data. If it gives a message saying "First Time iCloud Sync", then press Cancel. It means it hasn't detected the data you just uploaded from iCloud yet. Try again in a minute. Hope this helps.Regards. I woke up this morning via my alarm settings on my iPhone 5. Came back to the phone about 45 minutes later and noticed there was no sound for the lockpad, calls, alarms, notifications, ringtones, music, other apps, etc. I followed some of the of the steps I've found through through the community: - Confirmed silent button wasn't turned on- Confirmed both ringtone/sound volumes were turned up- Turned off bluetooth- Forced Reboot- Regular Shutdown/Restart- Reset All Settings (Without Content)- Disable/enable Change with Buttons- Disabled/Enabled Vibrate on Ring/Silent When attempting to change a ringtone with "vibrate on ring" and silent button turned off the vibrate kicks in however no tone. I've seen this in the past with my 4S and it only took a forced reboot to clear it. Anyone else experiencing this issue as of 2013? I heavily rely on sounds for alarms, notifications, etc (as I'm sure everyone else does) so any word of advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I am a Vodafone customer in the UK with an iPhone 4S. I didn't actually see the warning from Vodafone saying not to update to 6.1.0 and so went ahead and did it. I had no problems whatsoever, was working perfectly fine. I then saw the release of 6.1.1 and the advice from Vodafone to do it. I went ahead and did it Over The Air but it didn't complete. I got the message on my phone saying to plug into iTunes. iTunes said my phone was in recovery mode and I had to restore. Tried to do it but got unknown error 36 and the restore failed. Went through all the suggestions on the support website - tried different computers (Windows and Mac OS), different USB cables, different network etc. Contacted support in the UK and they called back. Went through the whole thing again, tried the holding home and reset trick etc. Still not luck. In the end they put me through to support in the US who said they have the engineers looking at it. Has anyone else had this issue? Error 36 can be a hardware error and I'm worried they will say there is a problem with my device and make me pay for servicing (out of warranty). There was absolutely nothing wrong with it, it was definitely the upgrade to 6.1.1 that did it. Without sounding selfish, I'm hoping it is a widespread issue so that they admit liability and fix/replace without cost or release 6.1.2.
