iPhone 5 heat up on running PicsArt and Camera apps concurrently

I concurrently run PicsArt and Camera  apps, to take and edit photo. IPhone5 starts to heat up on the side, and battery drains out fast. I've tried to switch off LTE and all other apps, but iPhone continues to heat up.  I have same issue when I run DropBox, when it uploads photo and VDO via Wifi.  Any know why?

I want to update my Iphone 3GS from 5.1.1 to the new software 6.1.3, but I am scared I might lose stuff. I have heard good things about the new software where it's faster and the battery life is great and amazing. And would like it updated to the IOS 6.1.3. I haven't had any issues with my phone other than when I last updated my phone quite a long time ago, I lost all of my stuff, but got it back except for my contacts. Thankfully I had all of my contacts written down on a piece of paper. Facebook App not connecting with other apps. Help iPhone 5

I recently changed my apple I.D. to a different e-mail address because the one I had was hacked. I recently went to the Apple Store because my iCloud wasn't connecting and backing up my other stuff. So, they deleted the account and connected me to the account under my new e-mail. Everything is working fine. All of my stuff is still the same and nothing has changed. However, my Facebook app isn't working when I try to connect it to other apps such as Pinterest, Twitter, and Vine. When I go to my settings, and then to Facebook, it says "There was a problem accessing your account. Please reenter the password:". I have tried to enter my password multiple times and it doesn't work. I have tried my old password too, and still nothing. I changed my Facebook e-mail and password after my e-mail got hacked. I changed my Facebook e-mail when my e-mail got hacked, and I also changed my password. So, does anyone know what to do? I'm getting very frustrated.  Thanks, Jackie

Complete battery failure iPhone 4S

On Friday of last week my iPhone 4S began to rapidly lose it's charge.  By this I mean from 100% to 65% by 9:30 am, and completely dead by 2:30 in the afternoon.  I turned off my location services and "killed" all the apps running and it did not change my rapid depletion.  This morning I noticed my phone was warm to the touch and when I checked it my battery was down to 10% by 8:30 am and this was after having been at a 100% charge at 07:00 am.  I turned my phone off completely at 8:30 and when I went to turn it back on I got no response, not even the picture of the battery that indicates it needs to be charged.  So when I finished my work shift at 3:30 I put my phone on the charger and it has still yet to turn back on.  Has any body heard or had an issue with this?

Iphone 4S keeps disconnecting WIFI frequently when in use

    My iphone suddenly began disconnecting frequently from my Access point like every 4 seconds, maybe every minute. it just disconnects randamly,i have had this issue for two days now . I restored my iphone to IOS 6.1.3 and yet the issue is still preserved , so i reset my router and my access point to their default setting and still the WIFI keeps on disconnecting. I even tested my IPhone to connect to my Uncle's wifi access point and still it disconnects from it frequently.My Iphone has never suffered any damage. it has never fallen on the ground and not even scratched.The disconnection here is not that the iphone disconnects from the wifi when i lock the phone but it's worse it disconnects when the phone is in use even if I am downloading something from the app store or streaming a video on youtube and then it will automatically reconnect again which is pretty annoying especially if i am using a VOIP service .i tried everything now and seems nothing helps. Is this a Hardware or a software problem ?, i would be glad to hear from other users that i am not the only one affected by it. I live in Egypt, is there Apple Support in here ?, Any suggestions will Greatly help me .

Remote viewing andor controlling an iDevice screen iPhone 3G

Hello folks,  I am in a bit of a pickle! Short of you know what (have to keep the censors off me), is there any possibly way to remote view an iDevice screen on a Windows based computer? I am a eLearning/instructional designer and I have been tasked with creating eLearning courses on how to use our iDevice apps. But my dilemma is, how the heck do I capture the screens? Yes, I know about power/home but that isn't nearly practical, especially for capturing motion. I thought I could do it with the remarkable Teamviewer app but after speaking with their development team, it turns out that this has been an outstanding request to Apple. For quite some time, they have been requesting their customers ask Apple via feature request. It seems obvious that their must be a way because I have seen Apple iPhone instructional videos in the past. iphone app updates frozen in waiting-what to try next

Hi, I tried to update 3 apps on iPhone 5 about a week ago. They got 'stuck' while updating, and now are permanently frozen showing a greyed out icon, and saying the status as 'installing.'  I have tried everything and need more suggestions.This is what I have tried:Restoring - no changeLogging off iTunes account, pressing home and lock button til apple icon appears, then logging back in - this changes the status to 'waiting' but it's still frozenHolding down icon to delete - it doesn't have cross above these 3 affected appsGone into -> General -> Usage -> then selected each affected app and Deleted them - no changePlugged into PC and synced, then tried removing apps and installing again - the icons aren't removed when I remove, but when I install them again, it does kickstart the icon to change to 'loading', but then it returns to 'installing' and is still frozenAdding a new app/ installing updates for other apps to check to see if iTunes account works - yes they added/ updated fineCalling Apple tech support. The guy was really nice and helpful, but his advice didn't work (as above.)  He told me to contact the iTunes account support, and ask them to delete the apps from my purchase history and then try re-installing themContacting the ITunes account support - they emailed me back, and advised me that they checked my download queue and "updates of these three apps are not there." (?) So they gave me the advice to do as above. He also sent me to this link: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1702 which at the last step says "If you continue to experience the issue, contact the developer of the application for further assistance."  Now, my issue is: How the heck do I contact the developer, and will this help, when it seems to clearly be an iPhone problem? Should I give up and take the phone into an Apple store? Any other suggestions will help.  Cheers.

iphone 4 randomly freezes-what hardware to swap

Good Afternoon, ive recently started up my own business fixing mobile phones - mostly cracked screens and chassis replacements. Just recently i thought id got a bargain on ebay regarding an iphone 4. It was described as working correctly, can make / receive calls and send texts etc but randomly locks up. Ive got the phone today, unfortunately its locked to the 3 network so ive got a micro sim on the way so I cant actually proceed further at this point.  Although it did crash once on me when i tried to select language's etc - had to hold the home and power button down until it turned off. Ive read on the forums that this is a common fault, and can occur to any iphone - faulty or otherwise.  And the main concensus seems to be to take it back to the store for a swap. My main question is - seeing how im likely to come across this fault again - is the fault software or hardware related? If its hardware related what circuit board is likely to be the culprit?  If we could identify the problem then im sure I could just order the required part on ebay. The fact that apple havent recalled the iphone and that they will accept these faulty iphone's back and swap for new suggests to me its an easy fix - its just easier for the technicians to go in the store room and get a brand new one. Secondly ive just got another iphone 4 white - bought cheap as its totally dead.  Tried a new battery and still nothing.  Got a new dock / charging connector on the way - is it likely to be this at fault?  Doesnt seem to be any sign of water damage, and it wasnt described as this on the ebay page. When id swapped the new battery over i tried to charge the phone ( to see if id fixed it ) and it got extremely hot - so i disconnected right away and left it to cool off. Whats likely to be the issue with that one? Thanks, and hope someone can help Adam

I've got an iPhone 4 running iOS5 and I was wondering if I should upgrade to iOS6? Quite a few people seem to have had issues with lagging apps and battery drain. Has this been fixed now in subsequent updates or should I stay well clear? Finally, is there anything else I need to be aware of? Cheers!

Mainly my problem is that most of the time now i have to switch toEDGE and then back to 4G to get faster internet. I have an iphone 4S Unlocked, I am using   t-mobile and i have made sure that it is not the service nor the SIM.Ive reset the setting, ive had a restore again to a new iphone, and ive tried to downgrade my carrier version back to carrier 14.0 from t-mobile 14.1.It worked before i restored to IOS 6.1.3 because of memory issuess. I have made my way arround how IOS works and most of the technical stuff to do with it. Overall, How can i fix this or what can i do essentaily to bring back my faster and more reliable internet? p.s DIdnt know where this would go so i posted it here. p.s+ Yes i was jailbroken before i restored. My camera frozen iPhone 4

Have tried restore on iTunes and restore to new on phone.   The issue is not changing even with that.  Happened about a month ago and haven't been able to get it to work since. As soon as I click on camera, whatever the camera is facing is what it is frozen on.   Sometimes the shutter won't even open and the video does not work either.  None of the apps that you can take a picture with work either like Instagram, pict stich etc. Not sure what else to do. seberia8

You understand it is a mesh. At the Vodaphone store they say its a hardware problem. The want to collect it and repair. Has anyone experience with this and now how to deal with it. No sound on appfunction iPhone 5

Hi guys i got my iPhone 5 about 2 week after launch and about 3 weeks later i lost all sound clicks from text's, game apps, YouTube wouldn't play any videos and it worked perfectly fine when i went to bed wake up in the morning to this.  I rebooted the phone and this resolved the issue, the phone was not in silent mode via settings or via the slider at the top of the phone.  the phone would be working fine for about 3 weeks then this would happen again same issues as above this went on till about the 14th December and Apple decided to change my phone now its happening again.  I am at a lose end does anybody know a fix or heard of this before as i am sure this problem could not happen too 2 different phones ?  Thanks

Unfortunately, I could not find a discussion title about that topic. The subject is that I want to change my broken iphone 5 with a new one paying $220 and giving back to you mine. And my question is what am I required to do that in any apple store in US. Could you give me the details about like do I need to give back my iphone as the way I bought it I mean with all iphone stuff like charger and headphone.. etc. And the additional and important question is here, I need an official paper written by Apple, which says that the old iphone is changed with the new one (indicating the IMEI numbers of both) to use it in my country legally, because I have already payed tax amount for the old one and I registered with the old one so to make the new one active.In my country,then legislations say that each person has a right to register only one mobile phone in 2 years; so  I need to prove that the old one is given to back to  your side. Is that possible? If you can answer my all questions as soon as possible I will be glad becuase I will be in New York in a few weeks so I need to learn all details about the topic to be prepared. Thank you.

WiFi iPhone 4

Ok so here's the deal.  At work I barely get one bar on our wireless network, but at home I of course have full signal.  At work I turn off the wifi because at that weak of a signal, it takes forever to send email or a picture on my phone. So I switch to the cellular network, and bam it goes fast.   But then when I get home I want it on the WiFi and keep forgetting to turn it on.  So my question is (without Jailbreaking) hasn't someone come up with an app that will set timers for wifi to turn on and off?  That seems like one that should have been out in the first year of apps?

How I set up push notifications on my iPhone 4S using iTunes on my computer

Every time I try to go onto certain apps, a notification shows up saying connect to iTunes to use push notifications. No matter how many times I push okay the notification doesn't go away. As soon as I press ok this notification how's up right away. So when I do connect my phone to iTunes on my computer I don't know how I would set up my push notifications. Hello Everyone Who loves Apple most I DO Anyway I would like to make this chat about the iPhone 5 like for tips and tricks and stuff like that but first of all... How do you save battey life. I close all the apps in the multitasking bar, turn the brightness down to 50%, turn the weather and stocks widget off, set the nonifications I want to reminde me, and I also, turn off WiFi and 3G when not using it but my BATTERY STILL GOES TO QUICKLY! Backup Issues Deleting Other Files iPhone 4S

I recently replaced my iphone screen and afterwards I discovered that my camera roll had crashed. With it, I lost all of my pictures and videos. Luckily, I recovered them from a program that I had downloaded. However, the storage that used to take up my photos and videos on my phone had transfered to the "other" section on itunes. Is the only way to remove/decrease the storage of the "other" file by restoring your iphone? I don't want to restore my iphone because I am also having issues with backing up my phone. Whenever I try to back it up on itunes, it says "the backup was corrupt or not compatable with the iphone". My phone has never been backed up because of this issue, so if I were to restore my phone then all off my files would be deleted. I have tried reseting my phone, but the "other" section is unchanged. Is there anyway I can delete the corrupt files on my phone? I have tried removing all pictures, videos, apps, and music in an attempt to discover the source of the corrupt files but I haven't found them. Also, if I was to "restore backup" with my iphone from my ipad, would that mean losing my messages? 

Iphone 4 on t-mobile full signal but wont makereceive calls

Please help - My iphone 4 intermittently stops making and receiving calls/texts without warning, the phone will have a full signal and could be anywhere in the country but when you try to make a call it won't do it. If you then ring the phone it is as if it is turned off, if you then turn the phone off then on again it works perfectly well until the next time which might be in days or hours. T -mobile talked me through a reset but this has not worked and Apple want a fee to help further as the phone is 22 months old, it is however little used and still looks new. Any help appreciated

I have an iPhone 5 and I love it. It can do so many great things, all except for one. The battery will lose about 20-30% charge when left idle for a while. For example: when I go to sleep at night, my charge is 50%. When I wake up, it is down to 31%. Is there a way to correct this issue besides closing all active apps?

Hi there! There are troubles with Facebook Push notifications on my two iPhones 4 (iOS 6.1.2) and 4S (iOS6.1.3) and on my Macbook Pro 15 (OS X 10.8.3). There are no any push notifications about new messages or "likes" by integrated Facebook App and by Facebook app prom iTunes too. I have notifications in notification center about statuss updates and comments, but sounds there are no at all. Everything in settings are switched on:-Settings/Facebook-Settings/Notifications/Facebook-Facebook/Account Settings/Notifications/mobile Push I have done anything i can. Signed Out from all apps, deleted Facebook App, swithed off and then swithed on notifications, Signed In again and again. What can i do to solve this problem? I have bad battery iPhone 5

My iphone 5 is one month old and I cannot talk for 2 hours without my battery dying.   It wasn't like this when I got the phone last month but in the last week - it won't hold any charge.  My OLD iphone that is 2 years old has a longer battery life than this  with tons of use.   I have been turning ALL of the apps off (which i should not have to do with a one month old phone) and I still can;t get 2 hours of use without the battery dying on me.   tI's starting to annoy me and if my battery is bad I just want to go get a new phone. Is anyone else having this issue or does anyone know how to check to see if my battery is bad?  Any ideas is this can fixed? Thanks in advance for the help

Hi there, I've suffering from a call receving problem which is - Example -  I have a contact saved at my phone "Mr. A" - 01619001234 [country code not present]But when i got call then it comes for - +88 01619001234, so its not showing Mr. A is calling. There are some numbers on my contact which contains country code (+88) and some of them not. Okay, so I wanted to install vine (an app) but I can't. The reason why is because the free button (the app is free) is faded out so I can't download it. I'm planning on buying the iphone 5 because I have an upgrade available. I have never owned an iphone before, but I do have an 2gn ipod which has 8 gbs and has 2 apps and have used 5.5 of my 6.84 gbs available with songs(1175 songs). I have also have 30 photos, and have 1.5 gbs left to fill. If I do get the iphone 5 I will not put music on it, because I have my ipod. I would like to have a lot of apps though, because I like to test them out, and give reviews on them. I have a fair amount of photos in my current phone(around 400), but the camera quality is not that good, and I think because the iphone 5 have a lot more gbs than my current one that I will want to take more than I usually do(although I would probably upload them onto my computer and delete the originals off my phone). I don't have that many contacts and I have a tablet where I play my games and movies on, so that is not an issue. I know this is a bit long but I really want to make the right choice because I plan on having this phone until my next upgrade which is in 2 years. I want to know if 16gbs should be enough or if should I go with the 32gbs? OR if I should just wait for the newer version to come out, and if this is worth to buy. I would also would like to know what the perks and downsides are too. Thank you for your patience and time.
