I want to delete other off my phone iphone 4S

It has come to my attention the there is more space that is being taken up on my phone by "other" than the amount of space that I'm actually using. It is taking 6.01 GB of my space and I'm getting sick and tired of having my phone tell me I don't have enough space when I try to take a picture or video. I have tried to restore my phone quite a few times and iTunes will not let me restore. Everything on my computer is up to date, it won't restore when I put it in recovery mode and it just won't let me restore. I have backed up my phone and when I finish, I click restore and every single time I get an error. There is no number that comes with the error. I am starting to get ****** of because the "other" is taking up almost half of my space on my phone. Thank you for any help that you provide.

Audio IssueFeature in Video Playback iphone 5

I have just picked up on a 'thing' with the video playback on the iphone 5. It seems that dynamic range compression and/or EQ is applied to the soundtrack of videos. I first noticed it when I was trying to watch a few concert films and noticed that not only was the sound horrendous but during the high volume scenes, it was distorting. I have tested the same movies on an iphone 4, iphone 3GS and iPad which don't seem to have this problem/feature. Has anyone else noticed it? And even better yet, figured out a way to get rid of it?   Additional thoughts: I have also noticed that when you play music through the loudspeaker, some form of dynamic range compression is also applied to the sound. Personally I think it sounds terrible but I can understand why Apple would have done this. However, it doesn't affect the headphone output signal, thank goodness, SO, I speculate that it could be a bug that when a video is played, the OS isn't recognising that the headphones are no longer a loudspeaker and not bypassing the audio signal, therefore applying the compression to the sound.  Playing the video audio through Bluetooth headphones removes the compression and distortion of the sound track in videos, and that would have been the solution, but now videos no longer play in sync with audio through Bluetooth on the iphone 5. (Grr.) Last thing, the new EQ 'Late Night' that adds compression and EQs the sound in the Music app and sounds possibly like the effect that is being applied to video audio output.

Complete battery failure iphone 4S

On Friday of last week my iphone 4S began to rapidly lose it's charge.  By this I mean from 100% to 65% by 9:30 am, and completely dead by 2:30 in the afternoon.  I turned off my location services and "killed" all the apps running and it did not change my rapid depletion.  This morning I noticed my phone was warm to the touch and when I checked it my battery was down to 10% by 8:30 am and this was after having been at a 100% charge at 07:00 am.  I turned my phone off completely at 8:30 and when I went to turn it back on I got no response, not even the picture of the battery that indicates it needs to be charged.  So when I finished my work shift at 3:30 I put my phone on the charger and it has still yet to turn back on.  Has any body heard or had an issue with this?

My camera frozen iphone 4

Have tried restore on iTunes and restore to new on phone.   The issue is not changing even with that.  Happened about a month ago and haven't been able to get it to work since. As soon as I click on camera, whatever the camera is facing is what it is frozen on.   Sometimes the shutter won't even open and the video does not work either.  None of the apps that you can take a picture with work either like Instagram, pict stich etc. Not sure what else to do. seberia8

WiFi iphone 4

Ok so here's the deal.  At work I barely get one bar on our wireless network, but at home I of course have full signal.  At work I turn off the wifi because at that weak of a signal, it takes forever to send email or a picture on my phone. So I switch to the cellular network, and bam it goes fast.   But then when I get home I want it on the WiFi and keep forgetting to turn it on.  So my question is (without Jailbreaking) hasn't someone come up with an app that will set timers for wifi to turn on and off?  That seems like one that should have been out in the first year of Apps?

When I sync my iphone 4s or my ipad in itunes with the lates upgrade in itunes I don't see how I can organize my apps, to move them from one screen to the other.  I've looked all over itunes as the device is syncing and I see nothing, use to be on the right side and you could drag from one area to the other.  Anyone know?

Camera problem with iphone 5

I purchased my iphone 5 in January 2013 in India. For past couple of months, my phone camera dies frequently. The first time it happenned, I update the phone with iOS 6.1.3 and it started working. Next time when Camera was not working then I reset the phone and it started working, Now, I have the same problem, when I open the camera, shutter does not open and I am not able to click any picture. Does anyone has a similar problem with their iphone 5? Ios 6.1.3 Red Eye Correction iphone 5

Today I was taking pictures of my family, and I was using the flash on my phone because the light in the room was very dull. after taking the pictures and looking at them, I noticed the red eye thing that happens when you use flash. I decided to get rid of them with the red eye correction tool in the stock camera app, and after about 15 taps of pressing the red spots on one of the eyes on my cousin, the tool kept making dark spots in the wrong spot each time, and then the photos app just crashes. Um How can I fix this issue? because its persistent with every picture I Do it too.

My phone won't send picture messages to any phone other than an iphone and when I googled it, the solution was to restore it.So I did. Downloading the software itself took nearly 3 hours, but whatever. My phone restarted, but now the bar is stuck at ~3/4 done and it's on "restoring firmware". It's been this way for over 20min. I use iTunes 11.0 and Windows 7.Can anyone help me out? Would it be bad to reboot my computer at this stage?

Fixed my phone but display still doesn't work iphone 4S

4S got run over by a car. I changed the broken display, functionality (sound, vibration, cameras, wireless, mobile data, emails and other notifications come in, I can here SIRI, etc.) is working (tested via cylay).  Battery always low and phone turns off pretty fast after unplugging from the charger. Plugged in it turns off itself after about five minutes and restarts immediately again + display doesn't work (sometimes gets bright but there appears no clear picture only some grey tones). It worked about three times though that the display was clear and I could use the phone for about five minutes before it lost its picture again.  What could be broken?

Okay so first my iphone 4s had a storage problem. So I bought an iphone 5 and restored my old settings to the iphone 5. Sadly that carried over the storage bug to my new phone. I went and reset all of the factory settings and started from scratch. I have now fixed my storage problem, but I made this a new iphone, and did not restore from a back up this time. I set it up with the same phone number of course, expecting it to take in my contacts from my cell phone number. I sync everything, and my contacts are there. But they aren't MY contacts....they're my mom's.... So how can I get rid of her contacts and import mine. I tried turning off iCloud contacts and deleting them, and turning it back on. I have iphone 5 and try to sync it with my computer (Windows 7 Max.). I have already installed ITunes and verified my computer in AppStore. But anyway I have problems with syncing applications. For example, I've downloaded Translator and tried to install it to iphone. I've clicked "sync" in window "Programs", but it goes only up to the third step from four and fails. In window rights it is shown, that this program is already installed, but when I turn off my iphone from computer, I check and can see, that programs were not installed.My computer is also already verified, so that I can connect it with iphone. In common settings on iphone I have already turned on restrictions so that I can install applications. Could you tell me what should I do? I hope that someone had the same problem.

I have an iphone 4. I've been having many isssues with it, since the 6.1.2 software update.My iTunes album artworks were all messed up.My phone wouldn't apply any changes made, only the application changes would update.I have been struggling with signal since the update. It reached the point where I opted to erase all content & start from scratch. I know this can take a few hours to do, but my phone has been in the "pending" state (erasing state) for almost 24 hrs now.Is this normal? If not, what can I do to get it to work?My sleep/wake button no longer works either.

I synchronized my iphone with iTunes and my Outlook calendar.  By doing so, I deleted all of my Outlook calendar events in Outlook and on my iphone.  How do I reverse that action?  I tried restoring my iphone with the backup.  When I do this, my calendar events come back on my iphone but as soon as I plug it into my computer, it syncs with iTunes and deletes everything all over again.  I have tried changing the sync settings to not sync the calendar but it still synchronizes and deletes everything.  PLEASE HELP!

Siri won't play my playlists iphone 5

If I ask to play any of my playlists, for example "Play playlist Mix One"  or "Play playlist Five", Siri plays the first song on the playlist, and any other songs on whoever the first artist's is album, even if it's not ON that playlist!  It's as if it won't play any playlist that has different artists on it.  If I manually go in and select a playlist it works fine, but Siri won't play an entire playlist mix, just one artist.   An internet search was unhelpful.  Any ideas? Kelli

I just got a brand new iphone 5 yesterday and was in the process of performing a "sync" to copy some music. iTunes alerted me that a new software update was available for my phone so I started this process. The process crashed and despite removing the old software, it has not installed the new and will not pick up the phone at all when I plug it in. Hello! I´m soo frustrated right now - it seems i can not get my new iphone 5 to work... I broke the screen my iphone 5 aproximatley 4 mounths ago, and bought a new screen on ebay. I bought this for over 300 dollars, and got a friend to fix it. (and paid him as well) He broke one of the thin wires when he was changing the screen, making the front camera and speaker useless. Except that, the phone worked just fine. Then he bought a new wire, installed that, and i got it back. But now, it wont work! When i start it just a picture of an USB cable towards an itunes brand appear... and i have litterally tried everything. No matter what I do, I can not fix it, or restore it - the error code 1611 or 1603 appears om my mac screen when I connect it to itunes, and I get no further than that. And Ive uptaded all the programs, tried holding in home and of/on-button, go into the "hosts" on my mac (if you dont understand what i ment by that, just ask) Can somebody please help me?  Im cryin here, Ive used so much money on this and it does not work. Whats wrong with it? Ive tried every possible solution that appears on google, NOTHING works. I didn't bought the phone from Apple, but maybe I can send it in to them and I can get a new one? I dont expect that, but Ive would be in heaven

iphone 5 barely charges doesn't sync

Hey all, I have an iphone 5, obviously less than a year old, and am having a really strange problem. Two days ago, I was able to charge my phone, sync it, everything like it was normal.  Yesterday, it decided it won't charge.  When the phone is dead, and I plug it in it has the normal charging screen and will get to 5% like usual.  But then, there is no charging battery, and my phone charges SUPER slow.  For example, yesterday I plugged in my phone at 3:50pm with 1%, and when I unplugged it (never used it while charging) it was 9:15pm and 34%.  Continuing to charge it from then has resulted it up to 50% now.  When it's plugged into my computer (Windows 7 Professional), I get a notification that says the USB device has malfunctioned.  So I know from this and the very slight charging that it shouldn't be the cord, there is still communication between the two.   I haven't updated my phone to the latest settings (it's on 6.0.2) and I'm struggling to try to update it now.  I also don't want to Reset all Settings due to some of my photos and videos that I need to save and I don't want those deleted.   What do I do?  How do I go about fixing this situation?  It really shouldn't be a battery since it's a decently new phone.  It's been handled great and there is no damage to it and no drops.  Help!

Can't hear just one person through my iphone 4

Okay, so lets see if this works. So I've had my iphone 4 for about a year and a half, I've never really had issues beside the normal glitching and having calls drop here and there. Recently I've had an issue with my iphone connecting with just one individual. Yes, I know it sounds weird but keep reading. I have been able to make calls and recieve phone calls fine, however I cannot with just one single individual. They to also only have the same problem with me, however the only difference is they can hear me but I cant hear them or anything. We're able to text and send picture messages without any issues. Now sometimes when I try to call them, itll ring twice and then the line just goes dead, but thats usually them picking it up. I cannnot hear them at all. I've already done the reset on my phone and I've already contacted apple about this issue and their about as lost as I am because it doesnt make sense that this is only happening with one individual. I've also blew out the speakers and such like people have suggested. I use my head phones that came with my speaker, and ive connected and reconnected them incase my iphone thought they were plugged in.  Let me give you a little bit more info. They have an android phone, we have the same carrier which is verizon and they live in another state (not sure if thats helpful). I'm completely lost because this has been going on for about 4 days now and its driving me crazy. This happened a few weeks ago, however it magically fixed its self ( im thinking it was because I had bad service). If anyone has any solutions that might help, please, please let me know.

I connected my wife's iphone 5 to her computer to back it up, sync it and and check for updates.  An error message came up and put the phone into recovery mode.  Now we cannot get it out of recovery mode.  We do not want to restore it as there are numerous photos that would be lost.Any ideas?

Okay. So this was what happened: I was updating my iTunes library to the latest version. All of a sudden, my netbook crashed and eventually was hanging. So I removed the battery and restarted my netbook. I later found out, my iTunes got deleted. I didnt panic at first since I deliberately deleted my iTunes before and reinstalled it again finding all my files back in the iTunes. But this time, when I reinstalled it, all my files were gone! With this situation, can I transfer all my current files from my iphone to my new iTunes library? I don't mind losing my music but I just want to safely sync my iphone to this new iTunes library without erasing my current apps and photos. Hope you guys can help me!

Are you sure you want to remove existing music videos etc iphone 4

So,  I have the iphone 4.Recently, I've had to wipe the hard drive of my computer to start new due to viruses and such. All my music and videos that were there aren't anymore because I have not made any iTunes purchases. My problem is that I updated iTunes and it asks me to "Are you sure you want to remove existing music, videos etc" because I have another libraries, with the other library being complete gone, how do I sync new music and videos without having to remove anything? Please help.
