i droped my phone in water and it still works except for ringer buttons dont work iphone 4S

i picked my phone up out of the water and it was still on and working but now after about  30 mins it wont let me listen to music or change the volume of the ringer and now the icon for the ringer wont go away

Having Paid about £20 for an official unlocking, I am being told to insert a Non-Orange 3G Sim card into the phone that is to be unlocked (Orange is the network the iphone iscurrently locked to).  Well I don't have a Non-Orange 3G Sim Card do I !! Sms new compose sms already have text in it iphone 5

iphone 5 / factory unlocked / USA purchase..  Whenever i compose a new message (SMS), i already have a text (one of the previous sms that i hv sent to someone) there in the message box. I have tried resending the same to myself and other numbers and it gets delivered aswell. But what is annoying is everytime i have to compose a new message and click on icon on top right corner in message app to create a new sms// i have the text alrdy in my typing box and have to select all and delete it.  And when i click on any previous conversations with my contacts and reply them this problem does not exist. This is only when i click new message compose icon or have to start a new conversation with someone. To me it seems as if some kinda signature is added in SMS but i couldnt find any option for the same. Please advice !!

Hello.  I have an i4. My calendar icon went missing after I respringed my i4 when I changed the theme. I tried with restore my home screen layout but that didn't work out. I restarted it without luck. Went on to look if I had misplaced it, but that was not the case. I have a jailbroken i4. Is there anyway I can get the calendar back?  Thanks in advance.

iTunes cannot find update server iphone 4

After months and months of not being able to update my iphone 4 to the new technology due to storage usage, i was finally able to. Now after two hours of waiting, my phone says it was verifying the update. My phone turned off and then turned back on and i got the plug into iTunes icon. After i plugged it in it says that the iphone update server cannot be found.

Desperate- way to extract location history of my iphone where I have been

Please help- its my understanding that iphone stores where you have been (location history). When I was searching the Internet to see if I could access this info, I found Pete wardens iphone tracker download (I think it came out in April 2011), but then I read that apple fixed this problem of storing this info on your computer too, by releasing a software update shortly after. Is that correct? If I backup my iphone to computer will it have a file on there that stores the history of where I and my iphone have been? Or is this no longer the case? I desperately need a log with time stamps, I need to prove where I have been in the last week (marriage problems). If iphone only keeps this info on the phone now, can I access it somehow?Thanks for your help-Alisha

I have been trying to update my iphone's software for the past few weeks due to my current provider not being found. (A bar that says "searching" is always at the top where my 3G should be.) Yet whenever I try directly from my iphone, it always end with an error message. So, yesterday I tried updating directly from itunes and I let it download the new update and all that. However, after it finished trying to update my iphone, it put my iphone in a recovery mode and I've been trying to fix it eversince. I can not access my iphone, all it has is an icon saying to connect to itunes. I've tried troubleshooting, checking my software, updating my computer etc. yet it still leaves me with this message: "The iphone "iphone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (-1)." I've looked on the apple site and I've made sure my security is up to date, my computer is up to date, my itunes is up to date and that I have restarted my computer. I am very irritated and I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do because my warranty is over with apple and I still have a few years on my contract. This problem has become relatively frequent with the replacement I've received from apple.  Please post all suggestions or ideas to help with my problem, Thank you for your time. -Applefanatic23

Battery not charging iphone 5

The iPhone5 is less than 6 months old. After I downloaded some photos to my computer through the USB, I then needed to recharge my iPhone5. So, I removed the cord from the USB port plugged it into the adapter and then plugged into a wall receptacle. After more than 8 hours it has not charged. The symbol shows it is charged but the battery icon shows only 29% and it continues to decline when used. Any ideas on what to do other than taking it to the store. Thank you for any assistance

So i have my brand new iphone 5, since out of the box (2 days ago) the camera is not working, the camera app launches when i hit the camera icon but the shutter wont open, now if hit home button and then open camera again the shutter opens but the screen is black and i can't use any button on the camera app (auto flash, switch to front camera, etc.). Last night i read somewhere in this forums to turn off "Cellular Data" on the facetime setting, and it started working, until today when i got the same problem. i already restored it as new and it did nothing. Please Help.

Hi all, I have a few Audiobooks which I listen to on my iphone 3GS a lot and I put a couple more and last night I downloaded them and now they have an echo which it didnt before.  From what i have read I need to change the playback speed but from all the feedback I have seen online there is no icon on my phone at the bottom right corner I can touch to change it.  I have just about tried everything with no luck. PLEASE is there anyone that can help me. I have already lost these books once and have spent a lot of money getting them back.  I will very angry if I cant listen to this now. Facebook App in Settings iphone 3G

Hi there, I'm trying to remove the Facebook app from my iPhone5. I've held down the icon til it wiggles, pressed the X, deleted it. I've deleted it from my iTunes library. I've resynced my phone and it's not showing up and not mysteriously reinstalling on my phone (which it did a couple of times) which is great. I then go into my Settings folder on my phone, scroll down the bottom and find it there with Twitter. I click on it and it appears to be an install app for Facebook - Install, Learn More, Sign In etc....  How do I get rid of it completely? As in: I don't want anything Facebook on my phone. Nada. Zip. Zero. Nothing. No Facebook. Is this possible or is there now some deal whereby Facebook is now intrinsically tied with my iPhone5 and there's nothing to be done about it? I'm sorry if there's already been something about this but I really couldn't find it (or I didn't realise what I was looking at).  :- Cheers for the help.

iphone 4s 6.1.3 problems with 3g In and Outgoing Calls

Hi Everybody!I got a factory unlocked (originally was Vodafon locked) iphone 4s with firmware 6.1.3.When I insert my sim (Hungarian Telenor) when only EDGE is on it founds the signal and seems like everything is working.After a few hours or sometimes even a day passes by a phone stays on full signal with Carrier logo and Edge on, but my friends reporting that they cant call me(like im offline) and i cant make calls either.The interresting stuff is that the Edge connection is fully working during that im offline for my friends via Calls and i can send and recieve imessages and viber messages.When i switch 3g on it disconnects from service drops the EDGE and never finds the way back and stays 'searching' or 'no service' at all.. I thought that its my Carrier's fault so i went to spoke with them and tried 5different micro Sims( cause i wrote that 4s-s are sensitive to SIM card types).. this thing not worked either, Then i tried the phone with a T-mobile SIM card.. it does the same..connects to the services,but with 3g switched on not finding service..so totally like with my sim. Here Comes the bumm... i Tried the phone with vodafone sim and everything works.. simple connectivity to 3g with full internet usage,can make and recieve calls...I spoked with all of the Carriers and also Apple and no body can give me nothing..the phone is off varranty so changed to a new one isnt an option..Anybody? Something? im beginning to give up .. please help if you can..Thanks!!   ps.:i restored over 20times,reset network settings,switch off and on automatic setting time.. every little possible things that people wrote on forums before..

my sound isnt working iphone 4S

My silent switch is not on, ive tried turning it on and off, ive tried hitting the volume buttons on the side and it brings up the ringer volume icon but it doesnt have those white squares under it anymore. none of my apps will play the sound they are supposed to and when my phone rings the sound only comes on sometimes. i didnt drop it or anything either. i went to bed and woke up and it wasnt working. how do i fix it?

iphone 5 no longer connecting to bluetooth in car

My iphone 5 has been connected succesfully via bluetooth to my car for the past 5 months (Ford Fiesta).  Yesterday I went to use it and it wont connect, I powered off the phone, turned bluetooth on/off still not working. I debonded all phones from the car and went to start afresh but that wont work either. When it is searching for devices it just seems to be stuck?  I tried another iphone 5 in my car and that connected no problems at all. Anyone have any ideas, it clearly must be the phone but wonder what on earth I have done.

I have had my Apple Tv since August of last year. My family and I have been able to connect our iPhones, iPads, etc. to the Apple Tv using "Airplay" (Mirroring). As of recently, it will not connect anymore. The Airplay icon in the most recents bar has dissappeared. I have updated my Apple Tv and still no luck. I have rebooted my router/ modem and still no luck. We use our Apple Tv for movies and shared games, kids are disappointed that it no longer works. Can someone please help me fix it. Thanks.

Pls have this to pay attention for. If this is a hardware problem, what must be done to repair it? If that's a bug, when shall A.guys have a fix for that.BTW, may that be a problem actually linked to Bluetooth connectivity in the first turn? Bluetooth connectivity option is constantly "trying to determine it's state" (BT option setting shows "busy" running circle instead of on/off state), and after it finally gets to off state there appears to happen some change to wifi option behavior. Once it had even started back for an hour, but fell back to disabled soon afterwards.At least both these problems appeared together at the same time.All possible resets, firmware restores and 6.0.1 did not fix that. Shall I need to jailbreak the OS to fix it? And btw, the whole situation already ran a lot of people into high spendings for their 2g/3G overwhelming cellular data traffic. Apple to apologize for that at least? Or shall there be iphone 6 and the problem would remain unfixed and unnoticed?

hi guys... i have an iphone 4 running ios 5.01 i believe..  about 3 weeks ago, suddenly it just died for no reason. i didn't drop it or anything.. i pressed and hold the home and spring board buttons, but nothing happened.  the phone would only turn on if it is being charged. even then, it is not functioning at all.. it says no service on the top left, the wifi is greyed out..  most of the apps wont work. when i selected any of the apps, they flashed briefly then go back to main menu.  and the phone dies again as soon as i unplugged the it from the charger. the battery says a 100% while being plugged.  there is an alarm icon on top of the main menu..  last night, all of a sudden, the phone just started to function again while being docked to the charger... after being unplugged for about a week or so.  and everything just works... but this morning after i have been using it for a few hours since last night, it died again...  so it looks like there is a loose connection inside the phone or there is a chipset or something thats beginning to fail inside phone..  just wondering if anyone has experience this kind of issue with their iphone 4..  its very irritating.. i never drop the phone, never got in the water.

Hi everyone, i have a iphone 4 A1332 Will not charge and shows full charge. I tried resetting it with itunes about 10 times, tried power botton and middle botton restart and yet no signs of charge, if i unpluge it it turns off. Yet when i use it plugged, it shows the icon of full charge on the battery icon, but i selected the option to show the % of battery and it says 3%, this morning i was resetting it again and i fell asleep, when i woke up, i didnt start the reset, yet i found that the phone now has 8% charge on it. witch it drained off now, and its at 3% again.. HELP!?

That would tend to indicate a hardware failure. There is no magic that will fix a hardware failure. The warranty is 1 year. Outside of that, you'll have to pay. They were correct when they told you that is substantially less than the cost of a new phone.
