iphone 4 don't accept S card

Need some help here.     I bought an iphone 4 from a friend and I have restored it to its original settings but it won't accept the SIM card of same carrier. I have tried many suggestions from the web but no luck.

Hello, I bought an iphone 5 from the Canadian Apple store a few months back. I have just got back to the UK and inserted my UK sim card. I'm on Giff Gaff (O2) I can still make and recieve calls and texts. But most of my apps aren't working. Nor are any of my browsers. iMessage still works over 3G so i dont understand why my apps and safari arent sending or redceiveing data. does anyone have any advice? Thanks in advance, Tom

To Change Apple ID on iphone 3S

Using iphone 3GS to change Apple ID:  go to SETTINGS; then to  Itunes & App Stores, tap your old Apple ID and sign out.  When you sign out it will let you enter a new email, (Apple ID) and (I hand already changed my ID on the Apple Store but not my password) .  So I was able to use the same password.  It already had my credit card info but made me verify the security code.  Easy, just needed to know WHERE to go.

Hello, ok so i have this huge mess in my hands, lets start by saying this: I had an apple id which had no creditcard whatsoever on it, it was configured for USA app store right? ok so i get a debit card and it turns out i need to be from my country appstore to be able to use it, so i created a new apple id, and well the thing is i have about 30 apps or something which 15 are from one apple id and other 15 are from my other apple id, umm i cant seem to remember which were from one APPID and which were from the other, so i need help, cant i just reset the phone and download the apps again? (some are paid) please help!

I went to an Apple store with my 3gs as i have a few problems the girl restored my phone back to factory settings.  When i came home i conected my phone to itunes it says  only compatible sim cards from a supported carrier may be used to activate iphone.  please insert the sim card that came with your iphone or visit a supported carriers store to receive a replacement sim card. my sim card is inserted so has the girl that works at the apple store broke my phone.  can someone please help as i live quite a bit away from an apple store. Ashley

light bleeding iphone 5

Do not buy Apple product in Belgium, there is no support!!! So, here it goes: Three day ago I bought an iphone 5, at a Mobistar shop in Belgium. 700 euros. Unfortunaly, it has a defective screen, light bleeding at the top of the screen. So I went back to the shop, to get an exchange. But no, they refused. They have to send it back to Apple for repair. It will take three weeks. But I can't stay 3 weeks without a phone. And I can't just pop the sim card into an old phone, either: it's a micro-sim, and the iphone is the only one who uses that... Except maybe if I buy another new, top of the line phone... And I don't have the money to do that... So I call Apple, directly: "Did you buy it on our website? Sorry, nothing we can do. You have to go through the operator." So basically, I am screwed. iphone 4s Water damage. earpods work but no speaker

I dropped it in water.. for the third time. The speakers do work, when i activate siri it works and registers my voice, and earphones work aswell. Sometimes the volume slider will show up, but goes away in seconds. I restored phone, riced it overnight, used credit card to try and clean out the ports and q-tip in headphone jack. what else is there to do to fix this?!

My family and I recently moved to Shanghai for my dad's job. We bought an unlocked iphone 4s w/AppleCare in the U.S. and got a Chinese SIM card in China. I was riding my bike on the street and my phone fell out of my pocket and onto the road. The screen is completely cracked and the power on/off button is stuck. We're going back home for a couple months in the summer. Honestly, I don't want to have to deal with my cracked screen for another month. I'm wondering what my options are for this. Phone repalacement or phone repair? Do I have to wait to go back to the U.S. or can I go to an Apple store here and resolve it.

iphone 4s 6.1.3 problems with 3g In and Outgoing Calls

Hi Everybody!I got a factory unlocked (originally was Vodafon locked) iphone 4s with firmware 6.1.3.When I insert my sim (Hungarian Telenor) when only EDGE is on it founds the signal and seems like everything is working.After a few hours or sometimes even a day passes by a phone stays on full signal with Carrier logo and Edge on, but my friends reporting that they cant call me(like im offline) and i cant make calls either.The interresting stuff is that the Edge connection is fully working during that im offline for my friends via Calls and i can send and recieve imessages and viber messages.When i switch 3g on it disconnects from service drops the EDGE and never finds the way back and stays 'searching' or 'no service' at all.. I thought that its my Carrier's fault so i went to spoke with them and tried 5different micro Sims( cause i wrote that 4s-s are sensitive to SIM card types).. this thing not worked either, Then i tried the phone with a T-mobile SIM card.. it does the same..connects to the services,but with 3g switched on not finding service..so totally like with my sim. Here Comes the bumm... i Tried the phone with vodafone sim and everything works.. simple connectivity to 3g with full internet usage,can make and recieve calls...I spoked with all of the Carriers and also Apple and no body can give me nothing..the phone is off varranty so changed to a new one isnt an option..Anybody? Something? im beginning to give up .. please help if you can..Thanks!!   ps.:i restored over 20times,reset network settings,switch off and on automatic setting time.. every little possible things that people wrote on forums before..

I have an iphone 5... I cannot make calls or receive calls. I reset network settings and  I have reset the SIMS card and I am still having the same problem.  My husband is on the same cell service as I am and he is not having any problems.    When I try to make a call - it goes directly to call ended - when people try to call me it goes directly to my voice mail. on the left hand side at the top all it says is seraching - my wifi is connected... i also keep getting NO Service..  Can anyone help? Thanks

VZW iphone 5 will not pick up LTE when s removed and put into Galaxy Nexus then back into iphone 5

I have a VZW iphone 5 activated as my main phone, I also have a VZW Samsung Galaxy Nexus that I use a sim adapter and swap the sim to. When I swap the sim from the iphone 5 to the Galaxy Nexus for a day or so then back to the iphone 5, I cant pickup LTE signal, it just stay at 3G. Although if I put the sim back in the Galaxy Nexus it still picks up LTE. The only way i can get the LTE back on my iphone 5 is by going into VZW and getting a new sim card activated, in return kills my old sim card. Any ideas or help?? My iphone 4S can't work under 2100MHz bands frequency

I'm using iphone 4S in Thailand.  Generally, my 4S went well under AIS (local carrier) 1800MHz but 2 weeks ago AIS has upgraded to be 2100MHz for faster network then my 4S turned locked. However, i tried putting my sim card to another 4S, it worked. I sent to an authorized dealer, they disregarded and blamed the carrier.  I bought from Apple Store in Thailand but was claimed once in Singapore.  what should i do ? Thank you in advance.

Battery life stinks iphone 5

I upgraded from the 4 to the 5 about a 2 months ago, in the beginning I had no problem with the battery life, then about 3 days ago i would start the morning with 100% then drive to work and about an hour later my battery was completely drained.  I have spoke with the people at the 1800myiphone 3-4 times they ran a battery test, I updated the latest software, have backed up and retstored.  Still having the problem.  we checking everything that was running and did all the normal checks and balances.  Primarily is draining when I am at work and not even on the phone.  I have nothing pushing and never have.  strange that it just started in the last 3 days.  they agreed to replace it but either have to due with out my phone for 5-10 or more days or have a $695 hold put on my credit card to get a new one expressed delivered to me.  NOT HAPPY and VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!!

Turn off everything except GPS iphone 5

I have a CDMA iphone (Verizon), and I frequently hike using an app that tracks my route with GPS. However, the battery drains completely in 3-4 hours partly because the phone is looking for a cellular network. I tried turning on Airplane Mode, but that also disables the GPS. Of course, I have turned off cellular data and bluetooth, but the phone keeps looking for a cellular (voice) network. I have checked forums and people with GSM phones simply remove the SIM card, but I can't do that since I have a Verizon phone. Is there any way to turn off the battery-draining search for a cellular network when I am in remote areas?

Unable to open iphone 5 S slot US bought phone

I bought an iPhone5 from the US, on AT&T carrier. I have now returned to Europe, and wish to change the SIM card. However the SIM card slot is there, but will not open. I have used the key / paperclip methods to try and open, and have taken to an Apple reseller for advice/assistance, but they were too unable to help. I understand there may be a reason why the phone may be SIM locked electronically, but can anyone advise if the hardware may itself be locked to prevent SIM removal? It appears strange that the slot is there but cannot not be opened.  I am hoping it is a hardware fault - if so I expect I will need to return for repair in the US? Or can I take to my nearest Apple store (Amsterdam) for warranty repair? Any advice would be appreciated.
