Need help resyncing to icloud. photos specifically iPhone 5

I just got my software reinstalled on my iphone due to a glitch... I was told i can get my photos back from a resyncing from the cloud but I am having some trouble getting my phone to sync... any help would be great!

Hello! I am planning on getting the iPhone 4 8gb. I currently have an ipod touch and plan on transferring my 700 songs. I'd also like to add about 150 contacts and will probably have about 200 photos at a time. I'd also add about 25 apps. Will it fit?

When I sync my iphone 4s or my ipad in itunes with the lates upgrade in itunes I don't see how I can organize my apps, to move them from one screen to the other.  I've looked all over itunes as the device is syncing and I see nothing, use to be on the right side and you could drag from one area to the other.  Anyone know?

I'm planning on buying the iphone 5 because I have an upgrade available. I have never owned an iphone before, but I do have an 2gn ipod which has 8 gbs and has 2 apps and have used 5.5 of my 6.84 gbs available with songs(1175 songs). I have also have 30 photos, and have 1.5 gbs left to fill. If I do get the iphone 5 I will not put music on it, because I have my ipod. I would like to have a lot of apps though, because I like to test them out, and give reviews on them. I have a fair amount of photos in my current phone(around 400), but the camera quality is not that good, and I think because the iphone 5 have a lot more gbs than my current one that I will want to take more than I usually do(although I would probably upload them onto my computer and delete the originals off my phone). I don't have that many contacts and I have a tablet where I play my games and movies on, so that is not an issue. I know this is a bit long but I really want to make the right choice because I plan on having this phone until my next upgrade which is in 2 years. I want to know if 16gbs should be enough or if should I go with the 32gbs? OR if I should just wait for the newer version to come out, and if this is worth to buy. I would also would like to know what the perks and downsides are too. Thank you for your patience and time.

volume lower than ipod iPhone 5

when i bought my iphone5 the volume was the same as that of my ipod. after i ve updated it to ios 6.1.4 the volume has degraded. Is this due to the ios update or in the manufacture of the iphone 5 ? kindly help

iPhone images won t restore after phone reset

Hi, I am hoping someone can help me as my wife's iPhone completely froze up after synching with the latest version of iTunes. In the end, the only thing she could do was re-set the iPhone, thereby of course losing everything. Reconnecting to her laptop restored music and most apps, it seems she has to re-download the other apps again direct to the phone. Now the problem is images. There is an ipod cache directory on the laptop Pictures directory, and in this are folders labelled F00, F01 etc.. and a "Photo Database" file. In each of the Fnn directories is a series of files, called Txxx.ithmb, each of which is about 1,500KB. Doing a backup from the laptop indicates there are about 2900 files overall.Altogether there is about 3GB in this folder, so it looks to be a lot of space.  Pointing iTunes to the directory containing all this and synching, still results in zero images being found. She went to the local Apple store for help, to be told these are not the images, but then elsewhere I have read that these are the full files, and this proprietary format contains three different resolution images. If the images taken on the iPhone are not here, where are they? Finally, how on earth do we convince iTunes to recognize these files and imporrt them again? Sorry to be thick but losing everything thanks to the latest iTunes was rather catastrophic! Any help/ideas/suggestions greatfully received... The photo files were a mix of photos taken on the iPhone and images previously uploaded from the laptop. Cheers Chipontheroad

I recently purchased an iPhone 5 (Monday, May 6th) and am convinced that the battery is defective. I attempted to get the phone replaced by AT&T since it is within their 14-day Return/Exchange policy, but of course they denied me based on it being a "technical" issue and therefore a problem I need to take up with Apple. Okay so first my iPhone 4s had a storage problem. So I bought an iPhone 5 and restored my old settings to the iPhone 5. Sadly that carried over the storage bug to my new phone. I went and reset all of the factory settings and started from scratch. I have now fixed my storage problem, but I made this a new iPhone, and did not restore from a back up this time. I set it up with the same phone number of course, expecting it to take in my contacts from my cell phone number. I sync everything, and my contacts are there. But they aren't MY contacts....they're my mom's.... So how can I get rid of her contacts and import mine. I tried turning off iCloud contacts and deleting them, and turning it back on. But its the same. Help!?

Problems with syncing iPhone 5

I have Iphone 5 and try to sync it with my computer (Windows 7 Max.). I have already installed ITunes and verified my computer in AppStore. But anyway I have problems with syncing applications. For example, I've downloaded Translator and tried to install it to Iphone. I've clicked "sync" in window "Programs", but it goes only up to the third step from four and fails. In window rights it is shown, that this program is already installed, but when I turn off my Iphone from computer, I check and can see, that programs were not installed.My computer is also already verified, so that I can connect it with Iphone. In common settings on Iphone I have already turned on restrictions so that I can install applications. Could you tell me what should I do? I hope that someone had the same problem.

How I restore my Outlook calendar after it got deleted when I synchronized it with my iphone

I synchronized my iPhone with iTunes and my Outlook calendar.  By doing so, I deleted all of my Outlook calendar events in Outlook and on my iPhone.  How do I reverse that action?  I tried restoring my iPhone with the backup.  When I do this, my calendar events come back on my iPhone but as soon as I plug it into my computer, it syncs with iTunes and deletes everything all over again.  I have tried changing the sync settings to not sync the calendar but it still synchronizes and deletes everything.  PLEASE HELP!

software update crashed iPhone 5

I just got a brand new iPhone 5 yesterday and was in the process of performing a "sync" to copy some music. iTunes alerted me that a new software update was available for my phone so I started this process. The process crashed and despite removing the old software, it has not installed the new and will not pick up the phone at all when I plug it in. The phone just has a picture of the lead and an arrow pointing to the iTunes symbol. Help!

Less than two months ago, I purchased an iPhone 4S 16G, as well as a LifeProof case, which the dealer told me was superior to an Otterbox. It is touted to be waterproof, dirtproof, snow/iceproof, and shockproof. Up until today, I have been quite pleased with my case, though the screen protector does make it a bit harder to to tap the screen. Today, I had my phone in my pocket. When I bent over, it fell out and hit the ground from a height of two feet. It was completely in its case, and I had performed all the checks recommended before using the case. It fell on to carpet. When I picked it up, the case was undamaged, but the entire front of my phone was shattered. It look as though it had been hit by a bullet. The screen still worked, but it was covered with tiny shards of glass. The damage seemed focused around the ear speaker at the top of the phone. I have in the past dropped an ipod touch, sans case, face down onto tile, and the damage was about 4x less than the current damage on my phone. I immediately called Apple, who told me that the warranty did not apply to my situation (though this was not a surprise). I would have to replace my phone, refurbished for $150 or new for $200. I then called LifeProof, at which point I discovered that their warranty only covers the case. They will not refund your phone, though they offered to give me a new case. The person I spoke to told me that he used a LifeProof case, and that his screen had cracked several times while using it. He recommended going to an independent phone dealership who would repair my screen. In short, this overpriced case does almost nothing. To be fair, I have had no problems with the waterproof aspect of the case. However, it will not protect your phone from even the most minor drop that would normally not damage the phone at all. I have seen several accounts of LifeProof owners who put their phone in their pocket and pull it out cracked. This case is not worth $1, let alone $80. For emphasis, I have included some photos of what my phone looks like after the fall. Remember, this was only two feet and onto carpet while in the supposedly shock-proof case.             

Nike won't let me sync my workout data over wifi iPhone 4

I recently bought nike+ sensor and have just been for a run in it.  However it won't let me upload my workout data via wifi.  It comes up with a message saying:  Nike+ipod cannot sync workouts because nike+ service is unavailable.  I have tried and tried and again and it doesn't work.  I have googled it and there is not any answer to it so far. any help would be appreciated.thanks

iPhone 5 barely charges doesn't sync

Hey all, I have an iPhone 5, obviously less than a year old, and am having a really strange problem. Two days ago, I was able to charge my phone, sync it, everything like it was normal.  Yesterday, it decided it won't charge.  When the phone is dead, and I plug it in it has the normal charging screen and will get to 5% like usual.  But then, there is no charging battery, and my phone charges SUPER slow.  For example, yesterday I plugged in my phone at 3:50pm with 1%, and when I unplugged it (never used it while charging) it was 9:15pm and 34%.  Continuing to charge it from then has resulted it up to 50% now.  When it's plugged into my computer (Windows 7 Professional), I get a notification that says the USB device has malfunctioned.  So I know from this and the very slight charging that it shouldn't be the cord, there is still communication between the two.   I haven't updated my phone to the latest settings (it's on 6.0.2) and I'm struggling to try to update it now.  I also don't want to Reset all Settings due to some of my photos and videos that I need to save and I don't want those deleted.   What do I do?  How do I go about fixing this situation?  It really shouldn't be a battery since it's a decently new phone.  It's been handled great and there is no damage to it and no drops.  Help!

I connected my wife's iphone 5 to her computer to back it up, sync it and and check for updates.  An error message came up and put the phone into recovery mode.  Now we cannot get it out of recovery mode.  We do not want to restore it as there are numerous photos that would be lost.Any ideas?

Okay. So this was what happened: I was updating my iTunes library to the latest version. All of a sudden, my netbook crashed and eventually was hanging. So I removed the battery and restarted my netbook. I later found out, my iTunes got deleted. I didnt panic at first since I deliberately deleted my iTunes before and reinstalled it again finding all my files back in the iTunes. But this time, when I reinstalled it, all my files were gone! with this situation, can I transfer all my current files from my iPhone to my new iTunes library? I don't mind losing my music but I just want to safely sync my iPhone to this new iTunes library without erasing my current apps and photos. Hope you guys can help me!

So,  I have the iPhone 4.Recently, I've had to wipe the hard drive of my computer to start new due to viruses and such. All my music and videos that were there aren't anymore because I have not made any iTunes purchases. My problem is that I updated iTunes and it asks me to "Are you sure you want to remove existing music, videos etc" because I have another libraries, with the other library being complete gone, how do I sync new music and videos without having to remove anything? Please help.

Hi my iPhone won't sync with iTunes over wifi. When I plug if in with the USB cable it shows up then disappears in iTunes. It also sometimes won't charge. I have to keep plugging it and unplugging it until it charges. I thought it was the cable but that doesn't explain not syncing over wifi. few problems with my iPhone 4s.

Okay so my sister recently upgraded to an iPhone 5 because her iPhone 4s got a bit wet and it broke the camera. She gave me the 4s but it turns out it has quite a few irritating problems:The camera flash is always on. I tried a few software fixes that had worked for other people but no joy.The camera itself doesnt work. The shutter in the app doesnt open.The dock connector needs to be put at an angle for it to charge or sync and a slight movement can cause it to disconnect.The glass on the back is a bit cracked.The speakers don't work and it looks as if it is connected to a docking station in the music app when there are no headphones connected.She had this phone for over a year so there is no warranty but I have no problem with fixing/replacing some hardware myself. Would somebody be able to help me or point me in the direction for help with these probelms? any help or tips are greatly appreciated.

iPhone 5 battery drain

I got an iPhone 5 on Friday and the battery *****. I've read every single forum, done everything, reset all settings, drained battery to 0 and then back up, even restarted to factory settings, turned off push, limited notifications, every thing every forum has told me to do. I even went to apple and they were no help at all, telling me my battery was normal. I don't think sleeping with 100% and waking up with 75% is normal, or getting 2 hours if limited use from my phone throughout the day. I have no idea what to do and I'm getting so tired of this. I did not pay 1000$ and wait 5 months for this. I really expected so much more. Someone help me, and give me a right answer, to help me fix this. Seriously getting so ******. My iPhone won t sync updated apps from iTunes anymore

It used to be I'd update my apps in iTunes and then plug in my iPhone and it would sync the updated apps to the phone.  It won't do that anymore, I now have to update the apps from the phone's App Store app.  Anybody else have this problem, and how did you solve it?

Hey all. I've downloaded the app VPN Fife to my iPhone 5 from a friends appartment, on their VPN. Works great. So, I want to sync to my Macbook pro, thinking it would just transfer over via the sync. It won't, not sure it even sees in on my phone. How do I get this copied over to my iTunes on my laptop. I'd like to sync it to my iPad now too.

My apps are disappearing iPhone 3G

WIthout doing anything I noticed my apps disappearing. First I noticed my YELP app gone, then Netflix app gone, then Instagram gone! I did not delete them because I use these apps frequently. I went to itunes to sync my apps and it shows that I have them on my phone but they won't appear on my phone. Where are they and what happened? Are they invisible on my iPhone but visible on itunes?

Problems deleting Voice Memo s iPhone 3G

Hello!Im new to the forum but after looking through the forums relating to this issue and trying everything suggested i still have a problem with deleteing voice memo's! The problem:My iphone has no music songs, videos etc on at all only apps and photos. I recently restored from back up but chose to add my songs manually but before i even got that far the voice memo's playlist was already on my iphone and 123 voice memo's are on the phone and are also in the "music" section of the iphone, these voice notes are from last year! I have deleted all voice memos from the app itself and also deleted all voice memos from itunes itself and then sync'd but these voice memos remain! Itunes wont let me delete the voice notes from the iPhone through itunes whether that be though the playlist or through the music tab and as they dont show up anywhere on the phone im out of ideas!  Has any one got a solution? its driving me insane and its over 2GB of voice notes and i think its contributing to my 3.5GB of "other"! Any help would be greatly appreciated and apologies if this has been covered before! Thanks RinaRoo
