i droped my phone in water and it still works except for ringer buttons dont work iPhone 4S
i picked my phone up out of the water and it was still on and working but now after about 30 mins it wont let me listen to music or change the volume of the ringer and now the icon for the ringer wont go away

Dropped iPhone 4 in to toilet but hear me out
I dropped my phone into the toilet. I got it out as quickly as possible, but it did get submerged. When I got it out, the screen turned on by itself, but I didn't think much of it, and I stuck it in rice for a few hours. When I went to check on it, it seemed fine, as the screen turned on and all the buttons seemed to be working, other than being slightly laggy. The volume buttons worked, but the didn't seem to do anything to the volume. The speakers worked as well, and even the vibrating part did. the lagging didn't get any better though, so I decided to see if reseting it would work. It turned off fine, and the apple symbol came up, but that was where it stopped, and it now will not turn on. I checked the LCI in the headphone jack and the charging slot, and the one in the headphone jack has a tiny pinkish-red dot, and the one in the charging slot doesn't look red at all. I stuck it back into the rice just in case. Can anybody help with my situation?Just some info, up until I put my phone into the rice the first time, I was mostly in full panic mode, and even after I put it in the rice, I kept checking to see if it worked by pressing the sleep button. I'm pretty sure I did everything I'm not supposed to do, but what can I say?
IPhone 5 Auto Brightness Switch Not Working
So I just upgraded my iPhone 4 to an iPhone 5 literally yesterday. Strange lil bugs I get, but... This is just freaking me out. The phone had NO charge whatsoever when I opened it yesterday and tried to turn it on. Usually I get an iPhone and its at almost full charge. Then the Brightness was already dimmed to almost nothing rather than being in the middle. I adjust the slider to light it up more and then hit the switch for Auto-adjust Brightness... Nothing changed. At all. There's no brightness difference whether I have Auto-adjust set to On or Off, and it's kinda hurting my eyes. Pleeeease tell me I didn't get sold a Refurbished iPhone 5 as a New one at the Apple Store?!
Will apple replace my bent iphone 5
I brought an iphone 5 as soon as they come out, realised yestoday when I took it out the case to clean it that it's bent near the volume buttons!!I rang local apple store and booked in to see a genius about this, just wondering if anybody else has had the same problem.. Has apple replaced your bent phone?? After paying over £500 for a phone you do not expect it to bend, I have took v good care of the phone!! Thanks any helps will be appreciated.

when i bought my iphone5 the volume was the same as that of my ipod. after i ve updated it to ios 6.1.4 the volume has degraded. Is this due to the ios update or in the manufacture of the iphone 5 ? kindly help
iphone 5 suddenly no sound
I recently had a software update (6.1.4) on my Iphone 5. I ran the update last week and everything seemed fine. However, as of yesterday my phone no longer made sound, it just stopped making sounds to everything. It makes no sound when it rings, when I receive a text/email or when I try to listen to music. The sound is completely dead. The little switch on the left of the phone is turned on for volume. I did a reset and nothing seems to help. Has anyone encountered this problem? Does anyone have a solution?

So a nasty smash destroyed both Front & Back of my iPhone 4, and since having them replaced the Wifi signal has been really weak. I have seen other posts about screen replacement having to be done by going through the antenna, so something could be missing, or done incorrectly during the screen repair. Will definately be taking it back to the shop and finding out if It was put back together properly. In the meantime I was wondering if it is possible to share my Macbook Pro's Wifi (always full signal in my house) directly to my iPhone either using USB cable or through bluetooth. It's not been too much of a problem but it would be nice to use my iPhone in bedroom using the Macbooks good signal. Note: The replacement front screen on iPhone has a small gap >1mm between the screen and centre metal casing on the left side just above the Silent/Loud Switch, which can be noticed by light leaking through the gap. The metal casing also still has a small dent between the volume down buttons and silent/loud switch, again nothing drastic 1mm maximum

My + volume button is stuck and it decreases the volume if I press it hard enough.I have no idea how this happened, i never dropped my phone and everything else works fine also my phone looks new with no scratches.Will the limited 1 year warranty cover this? Dipped left speaker on my iphone 4s into some vanilla ice cream. suggestions
My hand slipped while holding the phone and eating ice cream. The left speaker got a dunking. Yeah I know I screwed up but that's life. I licked the ice cream off but now the sound volume on the left speaker is reduced compared to the right speaker which didn't get the ice cream treatment. Any suggestions? (Other than dipping the right speaker in so they both sound the same?) Thanks

When my iphone 5 is locked the volume buttons are not working. I have to unlock my phone in order to change the volume using the volume buttons. Is this normal for the iphone 5 or is there something wrong because I know that the volume buttons can be used when locked when I had the iphone 4

Iphone 4s Water damage. earpods work but no speaker
I dropped it in water.. for the third time. The speakers do work, when i activate siri it works and registers my voice, and earphones work aswell. Sometimes the volume slider will show up, but goes away in seconds. I restored phone, riced it overnight, used credit card to try and clean out the ports and q-tip in headphone jack. What else is there to do to fix this?!

My phone volume is very low only for calls. I use the Voxer walkie talkie app and the ear piece volume is loud, but as soon as I make a call or listen to a voice mail, the volume is near mute as max volume. Any solutions?!

My silent switch is not on, ive tried turning it on and off, ive tried hitting the volume buttons on the side and it brings up the ringer volume icon but it doesnt have those white squares under it anymore. none of my apps will play the sound they are supposed to and when my phone rings the sound only comes on sometimes. i didnt drop it or anything either. i went to bed and woke up and it wasnt working. how do i fix it?

universal equalizer I listen to music outside of itunes and want it equalized on my iphone .
I know of an app called boom on macbook pro, but is there something, whether it be hardware or software, that will allow me to adjust the levels on my iphone for everything that produces sound? so if I watch a youtube video and want it equalized, it will be adjusted to my preset levels, or if I want to listen to pandora, it will automatically be adjusted to my preset levels? That would tend to indicate a hardware failure. There is no magic that will fix a hardware failure. The warranty is 1 year. Outside of that, you'll have to pay. They were correct when they told you that is substantially less than the cost of a new phone.

After dropping my iPhone 5, I realized that the bottom volume button no longer works. I can get it to work, but only with a large amount of force. Before I take it into the Apple Store, I was wondering if there is any possible way I could fix this myself. The iPhone is running iOS 6.1 (jailbroken, I'll restore it before I take it in).

Question on unlock process for iPhone 4
Hello, I have completed my 2-year contract agreement with AT&T and received the instructions for unlocking my iPhone 4. My question: My iPhone is synced. Now I should do a full backup and restore of the iPhone via iTunes, but will this (1) keep all my current apps and (2) affect my current settings, specifically will I need to re-adjust all my individual notifications (alert style, badge app icon, sounds, view in lock screen)? This would be a tremendous chore for me as I currently have 176 applications on my mobile. I appreciate your help with the answer to this. Thank you Regards, Chuck

My volume bar disappears when I remove the headphone jack from it, making it unable for me to play music/videos without my headphones. I have cleaned out the proper places and I have even reset my phone (I did not hard reset it, I only reset all of its settings). How I fix grey flickering screen after replacement iPhone 4
So I cracked my iPhone 4S screen and I bought a new screen from amazon and I put it all together. When I turned on the iPhone it showed all black with nothing but I felt the vibration when it turned on and when I switched from sound to vibrate it also vibrated. I opened the iPhone and checked all the cables and it turned out I had a loose cable. I plugged it back on. Then, I had a grey flickering screen and I couldn't use any buttons like volume or home buttons and I couldn't see a slide to unlock or the time it was plain grey and flickering... Can someone help me with my flickering grey screen issue? Would help out a lot, thank you!
