To begin with my phone was underwater about 65'. Miraculously from what I can tell the only thing broken is the screen, which is entirely black, and the phone seems to be in recovery mode. I've tried every program I can find online to bypass recovery mode for both windows and Mac but no luck. I don't care about the phone I just want my honeymoon pictures off of it. Any suggestions at all would be appreciated .Thanks
Is there anyway I can bypass my screen lock ? I currently cant transfer the pictures or videos because the screen is locked and doesnt not work... is there any software or can apple themselves over ride the lock some how? Thanks in advance
It doesn't take genuis to conclude that we have a muturity status in performance of most of the iPhone hardware (Camera ability, speed, reciption etc)but when it comes to battery Apple didn't do a great job other than optimizing the chips for lower power consumption(I know it's hard and complicated thing to do but the results are ineffecint.) Looking at other smartphone like motorola droiod Max with 3000mah battery capacity with standad 20hours of talk time there is clear gap of Apple strategy when it comes to that. Frankly I ask what's the point of having a brilliant phone with half day life time, should smartphone always be complimented with on the go charger/external battery or worst a basic phone?
How can I transfer my contacts from motorola android to iPhone 5
My iphone 5 has the latest ios 6.1.3 and the battery life is hit and miss. The phone has been factory wiped in itunes and re set up. It sometimes will drop 50 percent on its own in a couple hours. If i do the home button and power reset on the phone the battery will report better. Maybe its a software glitch. I was also disappointed with the fact that i bought a high end home stereo and the iphone doesnt support the new apt-x codec yet their laptops do? Why is this. Its no wonder apple stocks are falling. I have owned every iphone since the 3gs and really have not seen any real improvements other than processors and screens. Poor customizations, lack of ability to personalize the phone and really nothing to keep me with buying another apple. This is unfortunate as the hardware is great but the feature set just hasn't improved in 5 years. In fact i think it has gotten worse. Being a communications tech i used to use wifi apps for testing signal strength on installed accesspoints and those apps got stripped be ause of apples sdk or whatever it was. The slew of apps on the android market for this is staggering. Now i see that motorola, htc and samsungs are all supporting the apt-x codec but no apple. Gps apps are poor and apple maps for our area are black and whit and half are covered in clouds from the satellite view so you cant see the streets anyways. As a business phone the iphone is looking less imoressive day by day. As a music player its also now being outdone. I hope apple takes some of this to heart and really does something impressive to IOS 7 to restore faith in its fans. And maybe some day we will be able to use one of our songs for a ring tone instead of having to pay. My old cdma phone even had this ability.
Is there a way to bypass Siri when using a bluetooth headset to make a call? I press the call button on my headset (Plantronics M50), but I still must touch the Siri mike icon on the iPhone 4S to verbally make the call.
Having troubles with the iPhone 4 and (re)pairing a motorola H3 bluetooth headset. These two worked beautifully just last week in 2010.Bluetooth on phone working fine with another headset, so next step:1. Select motorola H3 in Bluetooth menu2. Forget this DeviceThen, power-down the motorola H3, and turn on while holding the phone button down until the led is continuously lit (pairing mode)The motorola H3 appears in the Bluetooth Devices list with the status "Not Paired" and when selecting - produces the error:Connection UnsuccessfulMake sure "motorola H3" is turned on and in rangeWhat's missing is the pairing passcode entry - weird! Thought it may be related to leftover data, so reset the iPhone (home button and power button) to clear the memory and remove any residue.Did not solve.
After update I was getting manny issues like 1611 error, restored to factory settings, now I am not able to bypass activation screen. Phone is locked to ATT,never been unlocked, I cant find my ATT card, is there any way to activate it without using ATT sim ?
Help please! ! what shall I do?? how to bypass it?

Your help would be greatly appreciated. Or could anyoneoffer any solutions to this button problem? I have tried the alchol thing...did not work. Thanks for any help.
I bought a motorola H720. I have the iPhone4s. My phone recognizes and pairs with the device, but, when I go to bluetooth and turn it on, the phone acts like it is searching for the device even though it is connected. My question is, if I leave that screen and go back to the home screen does it stop searching?
Yesterday, I realized that my iPhone 4s was running slow on our home Wi-Fi (AT&T U-Verse with a motorola Gateway NVG510). I have the 12 Mbps plan and typically get around 11.0-11.5 Mbps on my MacBook, MacBook Air, iPad, iPad 2, etc. But, I used Speedtest yesterday after my phone felt slow and it is getting 1.5-3.0 Mbps at the most. The weird thing is that, up until now, my iPhone has tested at the same 11.0-11.5 that all my other devices get. I also checked my girlfriend's 4s and hers is going slow as well (1.5-3.0 Mbps). Why are the two iPhones the only things that are going slow on Wi-Fi? I haven't changed any settings on the phone or to our home network (nor do I even know how to!). Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I have restarted the wireless gateway and restarted both phones with no change to Wi-Fi speed.
I forgot my password and need to know how to reset my password without resetting my whole phone. how can I do that without disabling my phone?
Ever since I upgraded to iOS 6.0.2 I've been experiencing some serious WiFi issues. Although my upload speed has remained basically the same, my latency and download speeds have been terrible. I believe that it has something to do with either hardware or software on the iPhone 5. I have tested with other computers in the house, and the WiFi remains the same as it always has, so I'm pretty sure its got something to do with the iPhone. Here's some information:• iPhone 5 32GB black on Verizon running iOS 6.0.2• Cox High Speed Internet Preferred Package• Basic motorola Surfboard Modem• Netgear WNDR3400 gaming router**Ask if you need anymore information** Just to give you an idea as to how bad it is, I usually get a ping of about 60ms, 14 Mbps download, and 4 Mbps upload. Now, I'm getting about 200ms ping, .50 Mbps download, and about 3 Mbps upload. Things I have done to combat the situation:• Reset Network Settings on iPhone• Power cycle router• Cold reset on iPhone• Tried holding it differently... LOL I'm not brave enough to completely wipe the iPhone and start over. I don't have the time to set it up all over again! Any suggestions would be helpful! If you have any questions for me, feel free to ask away.
When the iPhone5 was introducted, I pre-ordered an iPhone5 64GB Black for Verizon Wireless. I waited almost 3 weeks and spent $850+ since I was not upgrade eligible. I opened the box only to find several scratches on the black finish, I was quite disappointed. I called customer service and was advised that I could return the phone to a Verizon Wireless store. They gave me a credit to off set the $35 restocking fee. I waited a few days, and ordered another iPhone5 64GB Black for Verizon Wireless, spent the previous $850+, waited 2 additional weeks only to receive a iPhone5 that was more cosmetically damaged than the first. I went to the Verizon Wireless store in Brandon, FL to return it. They allowed me to return it, but would not waive the $35 restocking fee. I made a point of why would I have to pay a restocking fee when the item is defective. The option they offered was to send the iPhone back and await a new one, while they hold on to my $850+. I was not agreeable that the offer, returned the phone and paid the $35. Last Friday 11/16/12, I went into the Verizon Wireless store in Brandon, FL and requested to purchase a iPhone5 64GB White. They indicated they had 3 in stock. I indicated I would like to purchase the phone for full retail ($850+), again since I was not upgrade eligible. After the store manager provided some strong commentary (indicating I had returned 2 iPhone5's previously, and they don't like to sell the iPhone5 for full retail) and about 30 minutes waiting for him to review my account, I walked out with the iPhone5 64GB White. It has been in the original plastic covers plus a Sena case leather pouch since it came out of the box. It has a large dent in the aluminum banding. Again, another defective iPhone5. I earlier today, read online that the Sr. VP of Apple indicated this is "normal". If this is true, I am very disappointed in Apple. I own an Mac Pro, Macbook Pro 17, Macbook Air 13", iPod classic and have been satisified with Apple products including build quality, fit and finish. The iPhone5, however, is very much unsatisfactory in build quality. Verizon Wireless advised me that if you return multiple iPhone5's regardless of defect, they will flag your account and refuse to sell you another iPhone5. How can a company like Apple tell me what I can buy and not buy, and tell me I have to live with defective, poor quality devices ? The main reason I want an iPhone5 is for the LTE (4g) network access, but I am not going to spend $850+ and live with scratches and dents out of the box. It is one thing that if I drop it, scratch, or dent it. I am going to go back to my iPhone 4S 64GB Black which is in excellent condition and other than the LTE (4g) access, is just fine. I am really disappointed in Apple for the poor build quality/fit & finish, especailly when in the introduction video they talked about the high quality and close tolerances within the process. I am also unhappy about Apple telling me when, where, and how many iPhone5's I can buy. I guess to avoid getting my Verizon account flagged, I will see the iPhone5 online and hopefully someone will be OK with the ding on the band before any additional blemishes appear or happen. My next LTE (4g) phone may have to be a motorola device. Any assistance anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.
I recently upgraded from an iPhone 4s to an iPhone 5. I have a motorola HX550 Bluetooth Headset which worked flawlessly with the iPhone 4s. However, since upgrading to the iPhone 5, I frequently lose audio when in the middle of a call. I am not certain whether it is a full disconnect or just an audio loss. The person on the other end reports still being able to hear me, however, I suppose they could hear me speaking over another source even if bluetooth disconnected. The loss of audio is always preceded by a quick shrill noise, so I can easily tell when it happens. All I have to do to fix the problem is to select Audio Source on the call screen, temporarily switch audio back to the iPhone, and then switch back to the headset, and then it starts working again. Is is important to note that I am not the only one experiencing this issue: This is a link to someone using the motorola H19txt headset experiencing the same issuehttps://forums.motorola.com/posts/94ac15ad7c If you go to the Plantronics website and look at the "Ratings and Reviews" on the Voyager Legend you will see the same issue reported: http://www.plantronics.com/us/product/voyager-legend (next paragraph is taken from the review since there is no direct link to the review. Really nice Headset unless you own an Iphone 5. I own several Plantronics headsets and have always loved the quality/ performance. This headset seems not to be compatible with the new Iphone 5. In the middle of a conversation it will lose all incoming audio. This leaves you trying to switch audio sources really fast in order not to lose your phone call. Ive tried 3 legend headsets and they all do the same thing. Hopefully this gets fixed soon because the headset is really nice Since this issue appears to affect multiple headsets from multiple vendors, I think it is fair to conclude that it is an issue with the iPhone5 bluetooth itself. I am posting this as a new discussion as I don't see any other posts specific to this iPhone 5 Bluetooth issue. I would have reported this as a problem to Apple, but don't seem to be able to find a way to do this on the web. Hopefully they are already aware, but if not, maybe they will see i here. If anyone else has experienced this issue, or has recommendations on how to prevent this from happening, I would appreciate your feedback / additions to this post.
I was told it was impossible to jailbreak my IP3GS on iOS 6. I did it. But let me get to the root of my prob. iPhone 3GS, running on iOS 6, AT&T PAYG. Problems: Battery life is halfed, I'm lucky if I can make it to noon with 50%. Maps, it is a joke. And I use that app alot to help my husband with work. Youtube, gone. MMS, non-existant. I used to be able to use it no prob on the network. Never had Data, just always used Wifi. I have a custom .ipsw made by PWNageTool. I have used TinyUmbrella to try and bypass the one error that I continue to get on iTunes, which is Error 11. I need some help. Please. I've have spent many late nights trying to fix this. I'm a mother to a newborn and already lack in sleep and brain functionality. I want to send my distant family pictures of my bundle of joy. I'm not a dummy, I know how to do this if you do step-by-step!
When I tap "App Store", I get a Groupon,Inc add, and can't get any further unless I tap "free" which I don't want to do.Can I bypass this?
Hi just bought an iphone 4 today tried to activate the phone and it won't let me..I go through language ect and it says activateing iphone may take a few mins then just stops and message on screen says that the sim carrier is not supported and please use the sim which came with the phone(which i am..& have tried another sim and still not working)........It wont let me bypass have tried reseting phone and restarting it nothing helps????
No. If you don't remember the passcode or if the phone is already disabled from trying too many times, you need to restore it using the computer you normally sync with. If that one's not available, you will need to put it in recovery mode and restore.
The software update download from iTunes is still interrupted by the iPhone demanding a passcode. Is there a more reliable procedure to force the iPhone to bypass the (forgotten) passcode request and into full Restore mode?
Can I erase past iCloud accounts on this iPhone and start new?
My phone has been stuck for two weeks. I am not covered by Apple therefore they won't do anything, but sell me a brand new phone. If I could afford one, I would bypass them and just upgrade. Unfortunately, I am not capable at this time. I have tried everything provided by the "help" on iTunes. I get ERROR CODE: 21 every time it goes to try to recover. I tried doing everything it said to help fix this error, but nothing works. Recovery for Dummies anyone? I miss my phone. Please help me recover my phone. Thank you
I just bought a 3gs secondhand. it was working prefectly fine and i put in a Straight Talk sim card with no problems. yesterday it froze and started the reset process. i Wasnt worried about it because all I had done was add my contacts and Facebook and such. so I tried to finish the process of reseting itself. now that it has and updated its stuck on the activation page saying theres no sim card. ive read articles online of the same thing happenong all over the internet with no solutions. most end with 'I nagged the apple people until they sent me a replacement'. I'd prefer a solution of how to bypass the start up page, or anything.
Having a few different issues when paired with 2011 BMW 328i and the 4S. I previously had the motorola Atrix and all worked flawlessly. Outoing calls seem to connect but it's as if the phone were on mute. Individual calling cannot hear me. Also, having an issue with the phone switching between audio sources (i.e. bluetooth to speaker, bluetooth to iPhone). When I try and switch back the phone freezes. Anyone having similar issues? Is this an incompatibility issue?
I just bought a new iPhone 4G a couple of days ago and absolutely love it except for the fact that I can't seem to receive full texts from my boyfriend. Our texts are never more than 2 pages long. He uses a company blackberry and has no problem receiving my texts; however, I get either just the first page (01/02) or just the second page (02/02) and it's always labelled which part I get. It's so frustrating especially since I never had any issues on my old phone (a 5-year old motorola razor). It took me this long to finally splurge and update my cell phone and now I can't enjoy his texts like I used to. Not sure if it makes a difference - he's with Telus and I'm with Bell? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My iPhone has locked me out even thought I've never changed the password!! How can I bypass this?
Verizon did the international GSM unlock for me and I inserted my international (micro) SIM. When I power on the 4S here in the US, it connects to the AT&T network and I can make calls that way. But it does not seem to find Verizon. How can I switch from GSM back to CDMA (and vice versa)?I had a motorola Z6c before and it had a simple software switch to between CDMA and GSM. Where is this option on the 4S?
I once saw my brother's motorola Droid X phone with a home screen that had a aquarium background that acted like an aquarium screensaver I have. For smart phones, it was the coolest thing I had seen. At the time I didn't have an iPhone but now that I do, I have been searching for what he had to see if I could add it to my iPhone 4s. I asked him which app he had that did that and he mentioned it was a "live wallpaper". Maybe this is just a feature ability for Droid OS but I figure who better to ask than the Apple community! So, have any of you found or used what I am referring to? To better help visulize what I'm talking about, picture one of those aquarium screensavers in the background of a home screen with the apps and such in front.
My iPhone 4S will sporadically go mute. either I can't hear the caller or they can't hear me. I've had this happen primarily with Bluetooth devices such as my motorola headset (which I swapped out just to make sure it wasn't that) and my car's built-in Bluetooth. I never had these problems with my iPhone 3GS before. I'm hearing that there are a lot of other people like me having similiar problems, even with the iPhone 4. I'm really frustrated because I can't conduct my business like this. Any suggestions?
My nephew, a recent Princeton graduate, showed me how Siri can be used to bypass whatever 4 number password you have on the new IPhone. Simply press the button at the pass code prompt and ask it to dial a number or send an email.
All four versions of the iPhone have never shipped with an FM tuner connected. Nearly all smartphones don't even have FM Tuners except a select few like Verizon's motorola Droid as an external headset. You can obtain external add-ons by software and hardware support. * HD Radio plugin via RadioShack's Gigaware * XM/Sirius dock connectors (One I believe is 3GS only) * Internet Radio Apps from Sirius, AOL Radio, and a few others
Please help
I was able to connect this devise to my old 3GS just fine. When I try to connect the device to my new iPhone 4S (V5.0.1), I get the error 'Pairing Unsuccessful'. The device showes up, the circle spins and finally shows the device connected with the grey print underneath 'Now Discoverable'. The motorola device reports the pairing is complete. When I turn the motorola device off, I cannot get it to turn back on. The bluetooth icon on the phone shows a connection on. Thanks for any help Kathy
I've read in these discussion forums and elsewhere that a number of people have had problems with hearing a clicking noise while using the earpiece of an iPhone 4 on Verizon's network while wi-fi is on. Seems to be a case of electrical interference on bad iPhones. It appears that many/most of these people's problems were solved when an Apple genius swapped them a new phone. My situation seems to be similar but slightly different: I have an iPhone 4S and a motorola H17 Bluetooth headset. I hear the clicking only when I'm using the Bluetooth headset and wi-fi is on. When I use the speakerphone or earpiece on the iPhone, no clicking. When I turn off wi-fi, no clicking. When I use a different Bluetooth headset, no clicking. Based on my experience and other people's experiences on this forum, it seems that the problem is electrical interference between the wi-fi and the headset. The question is, who's to blame: motorola or Apple? It's tempting to blame motorola, because the problem occurs only on my motorola headset. However, this exact headset worked perfectly—no clicking—when I used it just yesterday when I had an iPhone 4 on AT&T. And others are reporting clicking when they use iPhones with Verizon, even though most people report the problem with the earpiece on the phone rather than a bluetooth headset. The reason I ask is that I have an appointment with an Apple genius tomorrow morning, and I want to be prepared if s/he tries to blame it on motorola. Any suggestions?
When trying to activate a new iPhone 4 get the message: "Confirm your phone number: 314-xxx-xxxx The phone number should match the one provided when you purchased your iPhone. If you want to use a different number, contact AT&T after activation. If this number is different from the one provided when you purchased your iPhone, contact Apple at:(800) MY-IPHONE" The instructions say to call Apple, but after two hours on the the phone yesterday with AppleCare and AT&T, no luck on resolution. I also went up to the AT&T corporate store and spent another two hours without resolution. I ordered the iPhone via the Apple Online Store. I called them and they had to idea how to fix the issue. When I ordered my iPhone I put in the phone number on my account. When I received the iPhone 4 yesterday from FedEx it displays a completely different phone number. The instructions ask for the Zip and Last 4 of the Social Security number of the the person who owns this "314" phone number. That is not me, so I have no idea what that would be. There is no way to bypass this screen. Even restoring the iPhone as new results in the same display. This is an Apple issue. I was able to back track and find out that the serial number the Apple Online Store thought they shipped in fact WAS NOT. It is two digits different!! Mistakes happen, but I wasted a whole day yesterday trying to fix this and noone can help me. If anybody knows the fix please reply. Thanks.
Sincerely, I think Apple is making a big mistake. I think a lot of iPhone 3G users are seeing us in the dilemma of buying a smartphone with Android and do not buy a iPhone 4 because the same will happen with the iPhone 3G. We are vulnerable to current and future security threats as well can not continue to use the full power of your hardware. This is an opportunity for competitors of the iPhone (Atrix motorola, Samsung Galaxy S II, HTC Desire) and also they could get a special promotion for unhappy users of iPhone 3G. For example, my phone provider (Claro Argentina) has no stock of iPhone 4 for just over two months. I bought my 3G iPhone in June 2009 at Claro Argentina. iPhone 3G iOS 4 Claro Argentina - Bought in June 2009
I think its time to make the switch to an ANDROID type of phone. Apple will never get any business from me or my family ever again! My Iphone 3g went from being the best thing I ever had in my hand to the worst phone I have ever owned. Not only is this thing slow, in an emergency I have to wait for my phone to respond (usually 3-7 minutes) before I can even make a call, and lets not talk about text messaging. Its pretty greedy of Apple to force someone to go out and spend another $200.00 on a new Iphone 4 when we all know that there will be an Iphone 5, then 6 then 7... Good luck to all the Iphone 4 purchasers and farewell to the app store. Hopefully motorola or HTC doesnt live by the same business morals as Mr. Jobs doesMessage was edited by: Salahoon PC NOT MAC Windows Vista
Ive got a question about the iPhone and how it uses SIM cards/Micro-SIM or whatever it may be.Ive been out of the cell phone game for awhile, but I do recall, years ago, I had a cellphone through Rogers (Canada). I had purchased a motorola phone with my plan, and a few months later, I had come into possession of a newer model Nokia phone. If my memory serves me correctly, I had swapped the card into the Nokia phone and it worked just fine. Someone correct me if Im wrong on this being possible. Now, heres whats going on in my head. Im planning on buying an iPhone 4, but Im not exactly thrilled about the plans that are forced onto the iPhone. So, I was thinking... If I were to buy a phone that uses the same type of SIM card as the iPhone, and sign up for a plan that suits my needs better, could I then just transplant the SIM card from that phone into the iPhone and it would work as it should? Or is this all just crazy thinking? Thanks in advance,-Chris. Mac mini, MacBook Mac OS X (10.6.3) It likes to eat children.
After I paired my iphone 4 with a motorola roadster handsfree device, it wont ring when the phone is NOT connected to the roadster. In the car its fine, but outside the phone only vibrates when someone is calling.I set checked and rechecked the ringer settings and its all good. I cant find anywhere that says dont ring anymore and of course the volume is set to max but still nothing. Ringer is set to old phone and I even turned off bluetooth but that didnt help...Thats where you guys come in hopefully Help please! iphone 4 iOS 4
Hello Friends,Let me share my story with all of you. My cell phone Co. is Sprint. I had a sturdy motorola cell phone. It was costly, but you get what you pay for...right?(?) I could have dropped it from my second story window (on grass), and all I had to do was wipe it off and in all sincerity, it did take a 'beating' I had it for 5 years. Still, my motorola was 'outdated' and because of the features, the hype, plus my cell phone co. carried this; I was interested in the iPhone. I was sold by what the salesman showed me re. what one could do on that screen without buttons. The on-line feature was so far, the largest screen; a screen to be appreciated for a cell phone. So, despite spending almost 2 1/2 times the amount of my old faithful motorola, I definitely bought it. How much better could the iPhone be? At least 2 1/2 times better. 2 times better. 1 1/2 times better? Well, friends, let me tell you the history of this iPhone. I did get the internet, but after a while, to me it was not a big deal. And I realized a plain GPS device IS less costly in the long run. As far as texting, I dropped the feature because I wasn't using it as much. Speaking of dropping, a friend visited me, reached over to hand me something and her elbow hit the edge of the table I kept the iPhone on. I just picked up the phone and put it back, thinking nothing of it. But later, I saw what appeared to be crack along the face of the phone, I had to turn the face to be sure. I don't believe a mirror or a piece of glass would have cracked, I don't have stone floors, hardwood yes but it was just a 24 inch drop. A natural drop witout force. The infamous iPhone has a sorry heel. And despite all the "noise" about how great it is, trust me, it is too, too vulnerable, especially for the price!!! Therefore, I would never recommend it. Only if it was for free with joining Sprint. And they (Sprint) promises to replace it when the wind blows on it. Because it will!!
So when I am at work I plug my iPhone into my computer and listen to podcasts etc. with the phone being plugged in. The question I have is, will this effect the battery’s performance if I use it while being plugged in? or is the phone smart enough to bypass the battery and draw it’s power from computer?ThanksRichard iPhone 4, Mini, G5, 15” titanium iOS 4

When I go to the gym, I used to be able to have good reception (no skips) when I put my iPhone 3GS in my pocket. Now, the phone has to be very close to get any kind of reception. To eliminate the possibility of my headphone (motorola S305) going bad, I testing both my iPhone 3GS and the iPhone 4. The range in the iPhone 4 is significantly worse than the iPhone 3GS. Im assuming this isnt something a software patch can fix yah? Other OS Windows 7 RTM (64bit)
I have a Iphone4 and my friend sends me a multimedia text and I open it to find that it has came in two parts, one for the pic an the other for the sound which destroys the whole idea of the multimedia text for me, then I say ok if I cant enjoy it then maybe I can forward it to some one that can, just to find that forwarding a multimedia text is even worse than receiving one. Now I live in a house with teenagers and all of them have Iphones, three Iphone 4s an one Iphone 3. I have approached each of them on this an each of them give me a excuse why they dont forward or dont mind that the Iphone has this problem. Well, me being the guy that has to pay for these toys, have a problem with this! I had a motorola Karma before this IPhone an guess what? I sent an received my multimedia texts just fine! I got the phone for 20 dollars with a contract! I am over my 30 days on this phone an I am having more an more problems with it, like when I talk on the phone with it at my ear the lights on it flicker and guess what my ear will hit the mute button! Trying to send pics with the phone as a text message an just to find it fail, again the teens have a work around for it! just email it well why should I do that if the phone says I can text it, my Karma did it just fine! I cant change my tones for my incoming texts or voicemails to what I want them to be, among other small things. I am very upset at all of this! This phone is not what I was told it was, an its gonna be a very expensive lesson for me, I should have researched instead of listening to everyone who had this phone! iOS 4
Couple questions about this. Ive only toyed with an iPhone, so Im not too sure what to expect different. I love the Android system, but on AT&T its crippled and the only clear choice is the iPhone. That being said, is there any increase in data costs as I already have unlimited text and data for the Android phone. Im just gonna do an early upgrade. The extra cost a month is the only thing that would stop me, but the website seems to indicate the costs are the same. Windows 7
Hi I have an iPhone 4 and a bluetooth motorola headset. Im wondering if, during a call, I can output the audio from the phone call to the bluetooth headset, and output the audio from whatever game Im playing from the speakers.Thanks. 15" MBP i7 Mac OS X (10.6.5) 32GB iPhone 4, 32GB iTouch 2G, 20" iMac G5 2G, 4GB iPod nano 1G
I pair my 3G with my Lexus RX400H. I can receive and make phone calls. But two big problems.1. A horrible and loud BUZZING sound when a call is made, for about 5 seconds. Its enough to drive you out of the car. I can best describe it as a squarewave 200 Hz (Im guessing) that is piped to the speakers at about 10 times the volume of any voice or ringing sounds I hear after the buzzing stops.2. The audio level, modulation level on the bluetooth connection is about 1/3 of what it is with my motorola Razr2 V9 phone, which works flawlessly with the lexus, is loud, no noises.I like the iPhone features, but am no fan of geeky bluetooth ear things, they are for really important people (or folks that think theyre really important) but for me, in my car, I want to use the bluetooth thats built in.I upgraded from 2.1 to 2.2 yesterday, no change.Anyone have a similar experience with this awful buzzing sound when making a call using the touchscreen on the navigation system in a lexus auto? I hate to give up on using bluetooth with the iPhone 3G, but as it is now, its really nasty sounding. iPhone 3G Windows XP Pro Also have Moto Razr2 V9, 3G, works flawlessly
