The thing is that i've been trying to use my iphone 4S as master transmiter of GPS signals and accelerometer data for my ipad mini to use an app called air navigation pro, the deal is that when i try to pair my devices vía bluetooth they just seem not to recognize each other, the only way i can get them to work is by using personal hotspot or share internet option vía bluetooth, but thats the only way.I've heard theres a bug related to that, that our friends in cupertino just ignored when they updated IOS, Anyone can help me?, does Anyone has Any info about this, or maybe a solution.By the way since this may be due to my IOS instaled in my iphone my devices are:-Ipad mini wifi only IOS 6.1.3-iphone 4s IOS 6.1.3Thanks in advance for Any info proportioned

way of sharing my Macbook Pro's Wifi connection to iphone 4 Not Using iphone as hotspot for laptop other way around

So a nasty smash destroyed both Front & Back of my iphone 4, and since having them replaced the Wifi signal has been really weak. I have seen other posts about screen replacement having to be done by going through the antenna, so something could be missing, or done incorrectly during the screen repair. Will definately be taking it back to the shop and finding out if It was put back together properly. In the meantime I was wondering if it is possible to share my Macbook Pro's Wifi (always full signal in my house) directly to my iphone either using USB cable or through bluetooth. It's not been too much of a problem but it would be nice to use my iphone in bedroom using the Macbooks good signal. Note: The replacement front screen on iphone has a small gap >1mm between the screen and centre metal casing on the left side just above the Silent/Loud Switch, which can be noticed by light leaking through the gap. The metal casing also still has a small dent between the volume down buttons and silent/loud switch, again nothing drastic 1mm maximum

Do not buy Apple product in Belgium, there is no support!!! So, here it goes: Three day ago I bought an iphone 5, at a mobistar shop in Belgium. 700 euros. Unfortunaly, it has a defective screen, light bleeding at the top of the screen. So I went back to the shop, to get an exchange. But no, they refused. They have to send it back to Apple for repair. It will take three weeks. But I can't stay 3 weeks without a phone. And I can't just pop the sim card into an old phone, either: it's a micro-sim, and the iphone is the only one who uses that... Except maybe if I buy another new, top of the line phone... And I don't have the money to do that... So I call Apple, directly: "Did you buy it on our website? Sorry, nothing we can do. You have to go through the operator." So basically, I am screwed. I have to keep the defective iphone. Thank you Apple Belgium! Thank you mobistar!

Hi, I recently brought an iphone 4, when I went to use the cellular internet on it, it won't work. One of the friends at work suggested that I try my personal hotspot, which I did. It told me "if you wish to set up hotspot, contact Vodafone Au" which is silly as I know I have a data pack as I am still paying for it.. HELP.

Dying iphone 5

I have been having multiple problems with my iphone 5 and ive only had it for 6 months. I have been restoring it to factory settings on a regular basis however it still has been having problems (more and more frequent. #1 Teathering. I have been having trouble teathering off of my phone. (i tried several devices to rule my macbook out of the troubleshooting, nothing works) No device picks up my wifi or bluetooth personal hotspot. My macbook does not even recognize my USB connection in network settings. #2 My wifi on the phone is also a hassle. It has been becoming more and more intermittant, but rarely works. I have tried multiple networks with the same result. #3 My phone has become generally slow especially for safari and mail. On wifi, they dont work at all. on 3G, and LTE, the phone has also become very slow and often won't load at all. As stated above, restoring used do fix everything but that fix has become very short term, and often hasn't been working at all. Can someone help me?

Hi every body! Recently i have noticed that when i want to connect my iphone 5 personal hotspot to my laptop, the moment i plug in the USB cable while the hotspot is already running on my phone, immidiatly windows crashes. with a bluescreen error. I switched off the hotspot and then connect to my laptop nothing happens and every thing seems normal, but turning on the hotspot is a problem. every time i need to use my personal hotspot i have to reboot my laptop and while its rebooting i connect the USB cable in order to use my personal hotspot while its ON on the phone. Downloading podcasts to Podcast directory iphone 3G

Okay, here's my situation. I was recently given a iphone 3GS that I was thinking of using an iPod touch (i.e. no cellular data -- just wifi). My car, an Audi A6, has iphone/iPod integration as well as a built-in WiFi hotspot (using a Tmobile SIM built in to the car). I have a long commute so I listen to a lot of podcasts. I thought it would be cool if I could subscribe to x number of podcasts and have them automatically download/udate without having to touch the 3GS -- just do all the controlling via the car's interface. The problem it doesn't seem like podcasts are downloaded to the "Podcast" directory in the phone anymore (thank you iOS 6 and Apple's Podcast app). Since my car's interface will only stay in the "Music" directory, is there anyway to automatically get podcasts into that directory so I control them using the car's interface? 3rd party app perhaps? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Why my iphone 5 keep turning off every 5 minutes

After using the 'personal hotspot' feature yesterday, my iphone 5 has been acting up. I'm not sure whether the personal hotspot caused this? But this is the only different thing that has occured on my iphone, after around 4-5 hours of using the hotspot, my phone stopped charging, it said it was fully charged, but really it was about 18%. I reset this and it was fine. About an hour later, it started turning off every 5 minutes when the screen was asleep, i have reset it a further 4 times, and for around 2-3 hours it's like a normal iphone, but then starts shutting off again every 5 minutes. When the screen is on, it never shuts off, only when the screen is sleeping. Anyone got any ideas? Greatly appreciated, thanks

hi I am a big apple fan in TAIWAN.recently I bought a iphone 5 from local telecom and I apply 7-mobile as my telecom.however recently 7-mobile is a small telecom company, it's fine to use 3G,the problem is 7-mobile required user to change APN from internet to opentalk to get 3G, therefore, it made personal hotspot can't be used to share, I had already called the 7-mobile customer service and they replied it's apple's problem only allowed three "big" telecom.(Chunghwa, Far Easone, and Taiwan mobile)whether apple's engineer can solve this problem for me and also every 7-mobile users with iphone?

battery problem iphone 5

Since a couple of days I have a massive problem with my iphone 5 battery. The time of usage went down to 3-4 hours without doing anything with the phone. You can listen the downcount of the battery control. WiFi, Bluetooth, hotspot is in off-mode, email push in manual mode, LTE is active. Is it possible that hidden processes are running in the background which have an enormous energy consumption? The backside of the phone is quite warm in recharging-mode of the battery as well as in normal usage mode. I bought the phone in September 2012. Does anybody has an idea?

I am trying to connect a iphone 3 with an iphone 4 using bluetooth so I can use the IP3 as a personal hotspot using a New Zealand prepaid Skinny sim (the IP4 has an Australian sim). I have paired the IP3 with my MacBook Pro and a Samsung Galaxy using bluetooth and it works well as a hotspot. However the two iPhones can't discover each other ... is there a workaraound, eg an app that can enhance the very basic functionality provided by Apple? Hi, I recently bought a iphone 4. The WIFI sensitivity of my iphone seems to be very low. In my office, my phone is not able to catch the wifi signal. But at the very same place, another iphone 4 and iPAD catach the wifi signals. I mean not that my phone does not catch any wifi. When you are near to hotspot or router, its fine. Personal hotspot iphone 4 disabled by previous GSM operator

My current operator allows and has included in my plan cellular internet tethering. (I had used their services on this device before as well). I have switched to another service provider (O2 - UK) at some point, and they have somehow disabled my personal hotspot option via a "Network Settings" message they have sent when I first switched over. Now I am back with my old GSM operator, but their support center does not know how to re-enable the option on my phone. The "Set Up Personal hotspot" button in the "Cellular" tab is grayed out and cannot be used right now. I am already on 6.0.1 and cannot update the iOS. Tried resetting the Network settings several times - it does not work. I really do not want to revert back to factory settings - lots of things to lose.. I just thought I'd also ask here as well. (By the way I can insert my SIM to other devices and they can tether the internet, so the trouble is really in the device) I would appreciate any help.Thanks.

iphone 5 Personal hotspot much slower than iphone 4 3G vs LTE

I have an iphone 5 now but the internet is a lot slower while using Personal hotspot than it was when it was called "tethering" on my iphone 4. I can't watch Youtube, etc. It takes too long. LTE just over all doesn't seem any faster than 3G. I'd prefer to use 3G most of the time. ANd it seems like iphone 5 will not allow me to use Personal hotspot with 3G. Only LTE. I have an android phone on AT&T currently, and I am looking to switch to an iphone 5. My wife has a non-smartphone, and she does not want to switch to another phone. However, if we move to Verizon, she will HAVE to switch to another phone. So my question is this: Can I get a CDMA iphone 5, and use it on AT&T? I don't need LTE, 3G is fine, and I don't need a hotspot. Price is not an issue, but I want it fast, and I don't want to have to do any hacking/jail breaking/illegal stuff. Would I just buy an iphone 5 CDMA without a plan from an apple store and then sign it up for a plan on AT&T?
