Can I replace everything on my Iphone 4 with things from my stolen Iphone 5

My Iphone 5 was stolen, but I have an old Iphone 4, which I've reactivated. I write music, and I use my Notes app to store my lyrics in, and I really need access to the Notes on the Iphone 5 that were stolen because I'm not done with few things. In other words, I want to erase everything from my Iphone 4, and replace it with stuff from my Iphone 5. I've backed up the Iphone 5 recently before it was stolen, so if everything were to be on the old one, it would be up to date.

Iv'e had my IPhone 4s about a month, works fine.  My friend recently decided to spam me with as many emoji's as possible.  I eneded getting 65 messages filled with emoji's.  I think it caused imessage to crash, because when I try to open the app, it simply crashes and goes back to the home screen.  Now the only way i can text is using Siri.  Is there some way to clear imessage without opening the app? I would really prefer not to restore my phone, so any other solutions would be welcome.

Am I missing something?  In the Podcast app in iOS6 on my iPhone 4, I have lost the information that used to display onscreen with podcasts.  "lyrics & Podcast Info" is set to on in Settings/Music, and I've done a reset.   As an aside, the titles in podcasts no longer scroll either, and I've submitted both these things to Apple via their feedback form.  Before I restore, is anyone else having this problem?

iPhone 4 keyboard freeze runs slow and crashes- fix

Not been able to use my iPhone 4 for over a week now originally due to the screen freezing on "enter passcode" page. The probelm has escalated to keyboard and generally unable to use the handset in any reliable way. Please point me in the right direction to fixing this. Symptoms and log of activities in chronological order; - the arrow freezes when "slide to unlock". This would persist over a period of time (a day to 7-8 days), first incident around April. After many manual resets, able to access without the arrow freezing. Observed that this kept happening after the iPhone has been switched off.  - the above problem returned last week after the device was switched off then back on. This time, the arrow freezed for 15-30 seconds then "enter passcode" page appeared. The keyboard that appears is unresponsive so nothing happens when you press the buttons. The text entry cursor does not blink. iPhone eventually crashes with a spinning loading sign on freeze. - cannot switch off phone, unless with hard reset by holding the home + on/off buttons. - the same issue returns immediately. - restoring iPhone (first time) - required to update to IOS 5.1.1. Still the problem persists - appointment with Genius bar - explained the problem. Does not take a look at the handset once but offers a replacement at a cost. - Suspect it might be a glitch rather than a hardware damage (it's only under 8 months old) so attempts another restore. This time, set up/configure screen comes up on the device. Chooses not to set passcode. Screen is responsive, able to choose launguage, country etc... Hope returns, it actually seems to be working. Slide to unlock, takes 15-30 seconds but does unlock. Able to open and delete emails and SMS texts. Apps such as facebook seems to be working although generally everything is slow. - HOWEVER, keyboard across all apps unresponsive and text entry cursor does not blink. The apps crashes then returns to home screen. - Deleted emoji international keyboard in the hope that the keyboard problem would go away. - After a number of crashes, the screen is black. The Backlight of the screen is on but unable to switch off or do hard reset. From deduction, the problem seems to be with the keyboard across all apps.  Has anyone had similar problems and did you find any fixes?  I really don't want to have to pay for another replacement so please please, do share your knowledge. Something weird has been happening recently, over the past week actually. When I go to the search iPhone area, and then go back to home screen, by either swiping back or pressing the home button, the Keyboard from the Search screen Still remains on screen. It disappears ONLY when I open an app OR by locking the phone and un-locking. Any suggestions?? I have emoji app installed, I heard that could cause problems? Iphone 4, 5.1.1

Factory unlocked iPhone 4S on Tmobile cant receive emoji from ATT

My factory unlocked iPhone 4S on T-Mobile cant receive emoji icons from an ATT iPhone. Instead I see a bunch of weird symbols, but the ATT iPhone can receive emoji's from my phone. Also some of my friends have a verizon iPhone and I can receive their emoji icons, and they can receive mine. At one point I was able to receive emoji icons from ATT iPhones. Is this a problem on ATT's network or T-Mobile's ? any help would be greatly appreciated !

Resolution Steps iPhone iPad or iPod Touch library corrupted and showing ghost entries which will not play or music on device in iTunes but inaccessible.

Issue:  iOS Music application either has items listed in the library that will not play; or has an empty library but iTunes reports that music is present on the device and taking up space; or a combination of these issues coupled with the inability to resolve the problem through the standard resolution steps of disabling music syncing to remove all music and then re-enabling or by enabling "manually manage library" and removing the items.Additionally, attempting to restore from a back-up does not resolve the issue and the default response from the Apple Support Community is to factory restore the device and treat as new device, resulting in loss of all settings and basically starting from scratch. Cause of issue:  Corrupted iOS device iTunes library (MediaLibrary.sqlitedb).  This database stores the iTunes Media records and related information such as playcount, lyrics etc.  It does not store information and settings regarding iOS Applications as far as I am aware so this should be safe. Resolution Steps:Perform a back-up to your local computer rather than iCloud if practical.  This will be quicker in the event of issues.Download a iOS device manager such as Phone View (http://www.ecamm.com/mac/phoneview/) which will allow you to directly access the file structure of the device.  (This will NOT require an illegal jailbreak to be performed!)Enable the Advanced View mode so the entire disk structure is accessible.Browse to the following file:  iTunes_Control/iTunes/MediaLibrary.sqlitedbRename MediaLibrary.sqlitedb to MediaLibrary.sqlitedb-backup or similarHold down POWER and HOME on your iOS device until the Apple logo appears.  Release both buttons.When device has rebooted, connect to iTunes and synchronise it.iTunes will detect that the Media Library on the device is missing and recreate it based on the items that it has listed in the iTunes synchronisation record for the device.

I have a factory unlocked iPhone 4SI have a $50 monthly 4g plan on tmobile but I doubt that is relevant I am running iOS 5.1.1Whenever I send emojis to other iPhones  my recipients cannot see them unless it is on iMessage. Even on the Facebook app, I can see emojis that friends send me in messages but when I reply with an emoji via facebook it says "message cannot be delivered at this time"However one single emoji does work on Facebook and it is the red heart Can someone help me fix this or at least tell me why it won't work?I can see emojis fine but for some reason I can't send them. Hello everyone in Apple's discussion board. I NEED HELP  I'm having a problem regarding my emoji keyboard.I'm on iPod Touch Gen 3 64GB Currently iOS 5.1.1Since updated iOS5.0.1 to iOS5.1 in March, I've been experiencing this issue.It's quite annoying and i'm looking forward to any solutions from you guys.. "This also happens to my friends who are on iPhone4/4S several times" It happens according to the photo below.*NOTE* It happens not all the time but quite often. When I switch to emoji keyboardfrom my language keyboard, this will happen. Sometimes it doesn't. iPhone 4 keypad bug

Anyone have an issue with texting and the keypad typing/inputting incorrect letters? For example, if I type F it inputs D or G or some other incorrect letters. Happens with random letters as I type out texts and only texts. Doesnt seem to be happening when I write emails or other activities. At first I thought it was related to the emoji Free app that I downloaded so I wrote the developer and they werent familiar with any such issues and their app. That said, I uninstalled the emoji Free app and it seems to be working fine now. Edit User Dictionary button missing iPhone 4

I just noticed when I go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Edit User Dictionary, the + button that was in the top right corner is now gone. iPhone 3G upgrade to OS 4.2.1 multiple iPhones for same computer

Here is my situation:My wife and I both have iPhone 3Gs and share the same computer / iTunes.I upgraded to OS 4.2.1 last night and apparently lost my contacts, notes, text messages and apps (and I cant get emoji to work again, but whatever).I synced up my apps to what was available in our iTunes so I am ok there. I synced All contacts under the Info tab but ended up with my wifes contacts, not the ones that I had before the upgrade.When I try to download an app from my iPhone now, it asks me to verify my wifes account information, not mine.So, it seems to me as if iTunes / Apple wants to apply my wifes information to my phone. emoji Free Removal iPhone

I recently downloaded the app emoji free! which allows u to use smilies in texts to other iphone users. To enable the app for use in texts u hafta go to the keyboard language screen and scroll down to japanese and turn on emoji. I did this and upon using the smilies realized that i didnt like them very much. I then deleted the app but for some reason the emoji smilies still remain. I went back to the keyboard language and looked under the japanese portion and the emoji feature still remains there. I tried redownloading the app to delete it again in hopes that itd fix this but it never did. Anybody know how to completely delete the emoji feature and remove it successfully from under the japanese keyboard section? I tried contacting the company that puts out the app with no luck. emoji Emoticon and auto-correction being disabled iPhone

I have enabled the emoji keyboard under Settings -> General -> Keyboard -> International Keyboards -> Japanese and everything works great for the most part. The only issue I have is that when Im writing a SMS, auto-correction works until I insert an emoticon; then nothing typed after that emoticon gets auto-corrected. In order to get auto-correction working again, I either need to send the message or go into Settings -> General -> Keyboard and turn auto-correction off and back on. Neither workaround is ideal. I fully understand why Apple has this policy.QuestionSyncing with two iTunes libraries in two different MacsBut this is my caseI have a MBP at home with a LaCie 6TB eSATA HDD RAID box with all I need when at home. I am using around 1.7TB of space currently. The box weighs 23 lbs (11kg) so not portable.I am happy syncing my music on the MBP when I am at home. So far so good.I travel a lot though, every week a different country (marketing work) and happen to be a prolific composer. I have a second mac, a PowerBook G4 with Logic Pro 8 for my composing. When I am at home use a vintage Fender valve amp and a Gibson guitar too... bliss. But lets not get carried away.The issue is I do most of my music creation (1 or 2 full songs, lyrics and all) every week so have a few albums in my PowerBook G4 when I am in, say, China. Issue to resolveI need to be able to sync MY OWN CREATIONS into my iPhone when I am away, but the message is always the same ...this will erase all your music and replace it with.... Thought this was kind of cool. If you enable the emoji keyboard under settings>general>international>keyboards>japanese, you can use emotions on your iPhone for texts, notes or whatever for free. I recently synced a Christmas playlist to my iphone, which included Il Divos Christmas album. On Holy Night, I happened, by accident, to touch the Iphone screen, and the lyrics to the song appeared. I tried it on other songs and sometimes there are loadable lyrics, but I cant tell ahead of time, which songs have this ability. How do I tell? (The lyrics remain even if I press pause to mute the sound, so this would be great, if I ever wanted to sing a song with a group, and needed to know the words, but didnt want the music playing. I would like to know how to tell (without testing out each song) how I can tell if there are loadable lyrics?ps A nice xmas gift would be an Apple component cable--if you have a small hdtv in your kitchen and have an iphone. My husband was very impressed to hear xmas songs coming out of our tv, with a slide show from one of my picture albums playing. Im in Japan, was anticipating the emoji update (if only so my girlfriend would stop teasing me about how primitive the iPhone must be if it cant even do that) and... it doesnt work.Or, rather, it does work, but ONLY within the Softbank network. Which is almost completely pointless, as you can pretty much guarantee that 75% of your friends will be on some other network, eg: Docomo or AU. So emoji are still fundamentally useless while they work only between Softbank phones.I can only assume that this is being worked on, so Im wondering if anyone has heard anything at all as to some rough ETA for inter-carrier emoji support?So close, and yet so far...

Earphones problem-please help iPhone

Hello I have a problem with my Iphone (1st gen 8GB/ O2) I have no mods installed just the latest firmware.The problem is a few days ago music through my headphones sounds totally garbled and distorted - it sounds very tinny and almost like a karaoke track as I can not hear lyrics just garbled music. I have never had the problem before and I have used 4 different headphones and its the same with them all.Music plays fine in ITunes, I have tried restoring my phone, changing all the EQ settings and resyncing all of the music with no luck.The strange thing is music plays fine through the speaker - its just the headphones.Any ideas?Cheers PC Windows XP
