My iphone5 is broken. I don't have the proof of receipt for my iphone 5 and i bought it in singapore. Unfortunately, i'm here in the Philippines. Someone told me that i have to show a warranty receipt if i want my iphone5 to be fixed. Can pls. somebody help me?
I'm using iPhone 4S in Thailand. Generally, my 4S went well under AIS (local carrier) 1800MHz but 2 weeks ago AIS has upgraded to be 2100MHz for faster network then my 4S turned locked. However, i tried putting my sim card to another 4S, it worked. I sent to an authorized dealer, they disregarded and blamed the carrier. I bought from Apple Store in Thailand but was claimed once in singapore. What should i do ? Thank you in advance.

I cannot do anything to turn on wifi and bluetooth.Wifi turn on button is grey, Bluetooth turn on button is "waiting sign".Battery loose so fast, about 4 hours empty from full charge. Updated to 6.1.3 I conclude it's the hardware problem I'm in Vietnam. but buying from singapore. Thanks

After a series of complaints and refurbished replacements of my iphone 4 for its home button issue, apple agreed upon giving me an iphone 5 - box packed and brand new. I was super excited that apple finally took responsibility and just then i had 2 bad experiences with my iphone 5 in less than 48 hours of use! 1st - the music volume on the ear pods is extremely low even on full volume. Have checked the volume limit, have verified there is no EU limit, have restored the phone as new! 2nd - the battery life *****! Like i said i have restored the phone a new. There have already been 3 updates to ios 6 and its high time this got solved. In less than 2 days i have charged my phone 3 times. I have listened to music on it for less than an hour so far, about 2 hours of calls on 3g, there is no LTE over here, and finally about 3 hours of facebook and whats app in past two days. Offcourse about 5 or so pictures i took to test the camera. Today i unplugged the phone at about 8 am. Its 3:25 and the battery is dead!!! Can u believe it, they shipped this unit from singapore and i waited for it for nearly 20 days. And in less than 2 days i hate it! I am gonna re calibrate the battery this time and come back here and post what happens. Till then, can someone tell me how can i make this thing sound the way it should. I recently called Apple and asked if an iPhone 5 purchased in the US is covered by International warranty for service in country like singapore. The Apple rep said yes it would be covered, however he said it would be at the discression of the apple shop in singapore if they wanted to service the phone or not. After reading the US warranty, I see it says: Apple may restrict warranty service for iPhone and iPad to the country where Apple or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the device. This seems that Apple only may restrict warranty to country of purchase... meaning it is not definitive. If the warranty was restricted to the US, wouldn't it say "Apple restricts warranty service ... "? It also says in the US warranty: You may be responsible for shipping and handling charges if the Apple Product cannot be serviced in the country it is in. Notice the last part "if the Apple Product cannot be serviced in the country it is in", seems to mean I could try to get a iPhone serviced in singapore at the apple store, but maybe they will refuse and I must send it back to the US. If the US iPhone warranty was really only limited to the US, why not just say that in the warranty, why include that sentance above? Can anyone clarify the warranty policy for a US iphone purchased in the US and needs service in singapore? Can anyone point to the sentance/section in the US warranty that states the warranty is only good for service in the US?
Hello out there, bought my iphone in singapore, but using it in indonesia.The phone is now dead, went back to singapore (@starhub) to ask for a replacement (they decline since i don't have a receipt). I tried taking it to the local service centre here, but they can't help me. Anyone can give me a suggestion on what to do? It's pretty new (bought dec 2012) but now completely useless.... Willing to pay for the replacement but no one would accept. APPLE PEOPLE...help out here! I've been using your products for years, and because of this I'm really thinking of switching!!! thanks!

can i use an iphone 5 bought in singapore in the US using the ATT network
I bought my iphone 5 online through singapore apple store.As soon as i openned the sealed package, 2 faults were found.1. There is an obvious dent on the right hand top corner of the phone.2. The wifi did not work. I tried to bring my iphone to different places and searched for available wifi and it just could notfind anything, tried to search with my blackberry, ipad and other devices and it was found. I reset the phone to its factory setting through itunes, but did not solve the problem.I updated to ios 6.02 which says will fix the wifi issue, still did not solve the problem. I discovered that if i bring the device very close to its source (a router) it will find a signal butonly receives an extremely low signal & even if it's connected, it will last only about 30 seconds andit died again. Do you think i can replace it with a brand new one? The thing is i live in other countryand the warranty is not international. Thanks

I will just go to my main concern. I lost the phone of my aunt which is an iPhone 4. It was stolen from my bag. Out of common sense, I have to find a replacement because I know the my aunt invested money on it. However, brand new iPhone 4 here on our country are still pretty expensive for my budget. It is also hard to find becuase mostly stores no longer carry it becuase there is now iPhone 5. So, i have no choice, but to purchase a second-hand iPhone 4. So far, the second-hand iPhone 4 that I saw are from singapore and Japan. Now, my question. How can I be sure that the iPhone 4 that I purchase will work in the United States when my aunt will go back to the US. She works and live in the United States. I want to make sure that she can use the phone when she goes back to the United States. Please please please I need help. I am already stressed finding money to buy a replacement.

I got an iPhone 5 from Heera Panna, 64 GB, but often calls fail on that. The calls are dropped though I have a full signal at my home at Hajiali (and where I used iPhone 4 with no problems at all). Already tried removing all apps, upgrading to 6.0.2, a new vodafone SIM card, Resetting Network Settings. Nothing works. Can you suggest what to do? I think the iPhone 5 was bought in singapore and the model is MD663ZA Apple support in India said that I can exchange it for another piece only at an Apple store abroad. On a very serious note, I would like to bring into your notice about Apple Policies which are not favorable for customers like us.I was working in singapore and purchased this phone. 6 months back I shifted to India and by accident my phone fell down on my desk from my pocket and the front glass got cracked. I went to Apple Service center in my city. STRANGELY they told me to go to singapore to show this problem and they can't attend this problem as phone is not purchased in India. Hi all, RE: Applications problem: "You cannot update this software since you have not owned the major version of this software." Until recently, I have not encountered this problem. And I am facing this problem for both my iPad and iPhone. I only have 1 iTunes account and the most recent change was that I switched the location from singapore to UK (I'm currently in the UK). I also updated my applications a couple of times before since the change in location, so I doubt it's due to the location change. I've tried signing out of the account in the iTunes accounts on the devices, then signing back in. I've also tried restarting the devices (and for the iPad, I even updated the iOS). I would like a clear defined response Please!! I purchased the Black & Slate iPhone 5 64GB on AT&T on Apple's website - Not on AT&T's website. Apple Store Order as follows: iPhone 5 64GB Black & Slate (GSM) AT&T Model My question is: With this iPhone 5 because I did not buy it at AT&T and I purchased it at its outright cost at $849.00 + AppleCare $99.00 Order Total $1,007.43 w/ $59.43 tax. Does the GSM in -> (GSM) <- mean its a world iPhone? or Does this mean its a "World iPhone" = If I bought it out right from Apple's online store from Apple it means its an unlocked iPhone 5 like the verizon model? An because I did not buy it with my upgrade and I bought it outright!! Does this mean I can use it in Taiwan, Hong Kong, singapore, or other places in Asia? Will or should it still work over seas? If not, what do I have to do to buy the iPhone 5 to use it over seas to those places? I am under an AT&T family plan and I don't want to switch carriers. Hi,Last year on 8th October 2011 I bought my iPhone 4s from apple store in singapore and while purchasing it i was been told that this iphone comes with 1 year international warranty . As originally I live in India and out of the blue my iphone has started giving me a hard time. It's making call automatically, receiving calls automatically, its home button works occasionally depending on its mood from almost a month. Apple representative in India refused to accept the phone for repair (although it was under warranty) and made several excuses, claiming that it was not purchased in India. I purchased an iPhone 4 from singapore in the month of May 2011. At the moment, the home button of the phone is quite sluggish in response and I decided to take it to a nearest apple authorised service centre in India for check up and service. To my utter disappointment, they told me that they are not authorised to open and service apple products purchased from another country (in my case it is singapore). Is it a valid excuse as I presume that INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY doesn't put any restrictions on authorised service centres to give service no matter where in the world the apple product is.. Somebody kindly please advise...

Hey! I have some huge issues with my Iphone 4. Before I start describing the problems, I shall describe the situation my Iphone has been in. I bought my Iphone 4 on Aug 2011 in singapore and it was stolen a few months later(Nov 2011). Fortunately, the police found my phone and returned it to me last month (July 2012). When I got back my phone, my phone was jail-broke. I managed to restore the phone back to its factory settings by doing a hard reset through Itunes. And now as I am travelling around USA, my phone broke down. It happened after I snapped a photo up on the mountain and my phone just died. What happened was after snapping a photo, I placed it back in my pocket. I took it out again a few minutes later and the screen was black. I tried restarting my phone and there was no response. I was up on the mountain and there was no contact with any water or liquid. I did not drop my phone either and I was stationary after snapping a photo. Could it be the water vapour from the clouds since I was pretty high up the mountain? Initially, different thoughts came to my mind. I thought it could be the low temperature and the altitude that could cause my phone to not function temporarily. But when I descend from the mountain, my phone did not work still. So I plugged my Iphone to my charger and it switched on. Then on the screen it said Activation required and asked me to plug my phone to Itunes. So I tried plugging it to my laptop and initially the Apple logo appeared and then it disappeared after a few seconds and then came back on again. It has been doing that whenever I connect my phone to my laptop. FYI, my laptop is a Macbook pro. Then I tried disconnecting my phone from my charger and my laptop, and it cant be switched on at all. As i plugged my phone to the charger, my phone switches on and asked for an Activation and then it will stay on the connect to Itunes Screen. The instant I disconnect the charger from my phone, the screen went black. My concerns now are, 1) What are the procedures if I were to bring my phone to an Apple repair store in USA since I got my Iphone through a contract plan in singapore? Is there anything I should be aware of? 2)If my phone was jailbreak and I managed to restore to its factory settings, are there still any remnants of the jailbreak software in my phone that could cause the demise of my phone? 3) What exactly happened to my phone? Is it common for Iphones? I am travelling down to Philadelphia tomorrow. I hope I can find an Apple Store in the vicinity tomorrow. Very frustrated that my Iphone 4 just broke down on me suddenly. ok what i did was, i just go to Setting> Store>Tab ID >view apple ID> then change country from singapore to Australia then follow instruction to update payment info as well. now my ph country is already Australia. But i when i open app store, it's still showing Singpore store. (i m not creating new account, just change my exisiting account)thanks
I bought iphone 4s from Starhub singapore. But after using for 3 months the phone was stolen.Somehow I was able to get that phone back. But now whenever I try to put my sim in it, it esays the Sim card is not supported. First i used to receive " No Service" message. i was able to access a few applications.Then i tried restoring it from old backup.But then it starts setting up the iphone and gets stuck at the SIM card activation coz it gives error message that the sim card is not supported. Now it doesnt go beyond this. How to get rid of this error?
Hi, I had purchased by iphone 4 from singapore last year and now am in india and phone is out of warranty, to my bad luck phone screen has developed yellowish tint on left side of the screen and now i wish to get it replaced, i dont mind paying the fees. I had called up the Apple support, spoke to one advisor and further spoke to his senior too, i was told as india doesnt have any retail outlet same cant be replaced in india, but same can be replaced in other countries where there are apple retail stores and preferred would be Australia and HK as my phone was from singapore, i even got the address of HK IFC mall retail store. On basis of above i arranged the phone to HK through my brother and when he visited Retail staff said as this belongs to singapore this cant be replaced here and this is so annoying now...that m badly stuck, on basis of CC info i had arranged it to HK How can i get this case escalated to highest possible level....would request support here... Dear Sir / Mdm, I have problem connecting to WiFi and have also launch a Apple Support with case no 325420648 with singapore and Apple Support Express Lane in Apple Shanghai. Apple Shanghai have confirmed it could not be serivce in Shanghai and have to change a new set with Apple in singapore. Currently I am station in Shanghai and unable to make plan to go back singapore to have it change. Last September 13, 2011 I purchased an Iphone 4. I was told that it's warranty is good for 1 year. On may 13 2012, the sleep/wake button of my iphone malfunctioned. I immediately brought it to store where i bought the unit. They sent it to singapore for service. 10 days after, on May 23, 2012, I received a text message from them telling me that my "replacement unit is available for pick up". Meaning that my old unit was replaced. When the customer representative and I checked the replacement unit issued to me, we saw deep scratches in front and back of the unit. I returned the unit to them because of the deep scratches. They told me that they'll return it to singapore and will make a new report. Comes June 12, 2012 when i received a message again from them saying that my replacement unit is again available for pick up. the customer service representative and I checked the unit again for scratches. Finally the unit is clean. On June 23, 2012, the replacement unit issued to me automatically shuts down for 8 times. i quickly brought it to the store. Even their security saw the problem of my iphone (because he helped me troubleshoot it first). on the last time we tried opening it, it hanged and didn't continue to open. So for the third time, the unit is again subject for check up to see if it is under warranty. my concern is, apple is very vocal about their warranty which is "replacement".. Is there anything I can do to ask for a good unit from apple since this matter is a big inconvenience for me where in i have to provide myself another phone where i can use my number. and the worry that i might get another bad replacement unit.
