Recently got this phone for my wife , I pluged it in itunes and loaded it everything worked fine , then she change her mind ., she want another android !! so I reset the phone [ IPhone 4 ] Rogers and a few days later i plug it in my laptop itunes and it's giving me activation error , try Shutting it off and back on , Can i Master reset the phone again even if i can't go into setting ?? pls help

299.00 damage fee b.s. iPhone 4

I received a refurbished iPhone 4 under the 1year apple warranty. My home/power button became stuck, so I went to the vzw store and was told that it was a manufacture defect. I received refurbished phone and sent other phone back. I got my bill and now they charging 299.00 for a damage fee, WHY???My phone has never been out of its case and I know it's not my fault that the button got stuck. I know I'm not paying for no damage fee when the damage had nothing to do with me! Guess ill find new phone carrier cause this is a big boat load of b.s,!!!!!

I got Iphone5 to give gift to my mom on motherday i bought it from online i have also proof of purchase i go to apple store to book an oppoitment in regent street but i find the guy who treat me very badly first he too my phone go inside the lab after 20 minutes he com back and ask me proof of purchase i showed him after he told me can you come tomrrow we will fix it it will take time i said to him keep my phone for fixation and give me one paper as a receipt after he replied me we will fix it now please wait for 20minutes i said ok after 20 minutes he came back and said we can not fix this because you dont have proof of purchase i said i show you early but he said we dont accept that we cant deal with you.It seems may i criminal the way he treat me or something else i am shocked because next to me there is a lady and she is attractive as well one of apple employe treat such a nice way i feel happy the way he treats him she brings her sister phone the Apple employe change her phone straight way but in my case they ignore me.I dont know what is wrong with me because the way he treats me just ignoring me...i book oppoitment as name of(sazzad ahmed) at regent street time was 8.50 i cant remember the name of your employe because i was shocked the way of him to treat me such a worse thing for me in my life.Every time we preffer apple product because of his warranty services.please do something for me i am lso feeling ashamed this phone was a gift .

i can't restore my iphone iPhone 5

HiI have an Iphone 5 and last night it just turned off while I was asleep so I charged and it turned and it worked but then turns off suddenly so i plugged it again for houers and it just got stuck on the silver apple so I pressed the button on the top right and the home button and it worked againbut while I was in a call it turned off and now it doesnt turn on so I tried to restore it and my itunes says there's a 2001 error and i already checked and my itunes and mac updetes are the latest ones what else can I do? iPhone 5 camera problem

I just bought my iphone 5 one month ago then i realise my camera was not functioning, It always stuck in black screen when i try open the camera apps. I found out there are actually many people who bought iphone 5 suffered this problem when i try to look for resolution online. I want to go for warranty but my phone got dent on it's appearance. Therefore, apple told me that my phone was unable to warranty. However, my purpose to warranty is to fix the camera instead of the dent on my phone. Can apple fix my camera problem? I really feel sad and regret for purchase the phone now because of the problem i am facing now.  Hopefully apple can give me a satisfied answer. I have just started to update the latest iOS 6.1.3 and my wifi disconnected and all of my contacts have been deleted. My phone has not updated to ios 6.1.3 as wifi stopped working. I have never backed up on itunes on a computer, I always download everything directly from wifi onto my iPhone. Can I get my contacts back? If I can, how? Please help!!

iPhone 4s stuck in recovery mode. Error code-1 .

I recently bought my iPhone 4s from a guy (who bought it from someone else). He sold it to me pretty cheap because when he bought it, one of his friends tried to restore it for him and it got stuck in recovery mode. I have no idea if the phone has ever been "tampered with" or not. He didn't seem to know much about it (said it was his first smartphone) and I thought I might have a chance of fixing it. I'm starting to lose faith in that...I've tried almost everything I can find. I know there are tricks for this all over the internet and I've tried almost all of them. TinyUmbrella does nothing, Redsn0w won't even install on my computer (frustrating!). Trying to restore from itunes is useless. It gets to about 90% then comes up with error code (-1) and gives up. I've tried that route probably 20 times with no change. I know I could take it into Apple and they could look at it, but I have no information on the phone itself. I cannot get the serial number. Does anyone have any suggestions at all? I'll try anything that doesn't require me taking it to Apple and getting charged more than I paid for the phone to fix it....I run Windows 7. Thanks so much!

I bought an iPhone 4 locked to Orange UK why can't it be unlocked

I contacted Orange UK and they said that this iPhone4 is ready to be unlocked, but they can't unlock the phone  because I am not the original contract owner. Why can't Apple unlock this phone, because the original owner doesn't care and has sold it? As far as I understand, I am one of at least 3 owners for this phone. I guess there could be more. I just wanted to have a normal iPhone, why can't Apple help on this issue?  I have previously had many apple products, this is the first one I bought used adn just wanted to restore it to normal. Another thing is that 3rd party services can unlock it for 200$. What is that they do to unlock it? Why can't apple make a small comission for unlcoking iPhones instead. iOS 6.1.4 Battery Drain We need FIX APPLE iPhone 5

I have lost count of how many times I have been away from my office, looked down at my phone, saw anywhere between 10-30% battery life, and then a few minutes later have my phone go into shutdown mode.  This is absolutely RIDICULOUS and it needs to be fixed now!   Has anyone from Apple responded to this? Any kind of timeline in place for 6.1.5? Any help or information would be greatly appreciated. This is driving me crazy! I'm tethered to my charger!!!  Thanks!@dolfer

Folks, I am getting confusing information from various sources.According to the service I am using for factory unlocking my Iphone 5, as soon as I unlock my phone I will be able to use it on all GSM networks, except the original ATT. This is contrary to all the previous unlocks I have ever done on any phone. What is the reason why my phone will no longer work on ATT, if true? Can APPLE or ATT help me get it back on ATT network once I no longer need to use it overseas? Thank you for your help.

My IPhone wont turn on after updating

My Iphone 4G was updating to the latest i.OS software on itunes (on my windows computer). As usual, my phone had to restart. It turned off, but as it was turning on (when the screen just shows that silver apple logo) an error message came up on itunes saying that it couldnt update the software (I forgot to get the error number). But my phone is stuck with that silver apple logo on it. My computer tells me to restore my phone, which I tried, but everytime I do that, itunes says "extracting software" and then it says "preparing to restore" then it comes up with an error message (number 2009). I have tried restarting my computer. My phone is stuck like this. What should I do? Please help!

After months and months of not being able to update my iPhone 4 to the new technology due to storage usage, i was finally able to. Now after two hours of waiting, my phone says it was verifying the update. My phone turned off and then turned back on and i got the plug into itunes icon. After i plugged it in it says that the iPhone update server cannot be found.

iPhone images won t restore after phone reset

Hi, I am hoping someone can help me as my wife's iPhone completely froze up after synching with the latest version of itunes. In the end, the only thing she could do was re-set the iPhone, thereby of course losing everything. Reconnecting to her laptop restored music and most apps, it seems she has to re-download the other apps again direct to the phone. Now the problem is images. There is an ipod cache directory on the laptop Pictures directory, and in this are folders labelled F00, F01 etc.. and a "Photo Database" file. In each of the Fnn directories is a series of files, called Txxx.ithmb, each of which is about 1,500KB. Doing a backup from the laptop indicates there are about 2900 files overall.Altogether there is about 3GB in this folder, so it looks to be a lot of space.  Pointing itunes to the directory containing all this and synching, still results in zero images being found. She went to the local Apple store for help, to be told these are not the images, but then elsewhere I have read that these are the full files, and this proprietary format contains three different resolution images. If the images taken on the iPhone are not here, where are they? Finally, how on earth do we convince itunes to recognize these files and imporrt them again? Sorry to be thick but losing everything thanks to the latest itunes was rather catastrophic! Any help/ideas/suggestions greatfully received... The photo files were a mix of photos taken on the iPhone and images previously uploaded from the laptop. Cheers Chipontheroad

My iphone has literally no storage left, when I plugged it into itunes it said 10.9 GB were occupied by "other" what is other? i have 6 apps, no music, and 32 pictures and my storage is almost full. I'm wondering if anyone has come across the same problem as me and I don't know what to do to fix it. I had to delete basically everything off my phone because of the 10.9 GB other is taking up. I didn't know if I should restore my phone and set it up as a new iphone. Please help!

iPhone 5 Frequently Crashes to Apple Logo and Screen Lock

I have an iPhone 5 64 GB running iOS 6.1.4 on AT&T. Over the past ~ three days, have noted that the iPhone randomly "crashes".  Could be when I am using an app.  Could be when I am making a phone call.  Could be when it is simply connected to the power cord and haven't touched it at all. The cycle is as follows: Screen suddenly goes blankThe white Apple logo (which typicaly appears during boot-up) appears for 3 - 5 secondsI hear the "chirp" that normally sounds at the end of boot-upThe iPhone lock lock screen then appears Sometimes, when the phone emerges from lock screen, the brightness is about half of what it was prior. I have not been able to isolate this behavior to a specific set of circumstances.  When it occurs during a phone call, the call is interrupted / other party is silenced, but if I swipe at lock screen, the call resumes (the other party notes that I went silent during duration). I have re-started / re-booted the iPhone 15 times.  I have cleared all apps from the cache.  I have disabled all notifications and location services.  I have done a Reset All Settings on iPhone and restored from iCloud.  I have done a Restore from itunes.  The problem continues. I would say that this crash cycle occurs about every 30 - 60 minutes.  As noted, many times when I'm not even touching / using the iPhone. Have also noted that when not connected to power supply, the iPhone is quite warm, and battery drain is at an accelerated rate of 3x to 4x of "normal", worse than prior iOS 6 related battery issues.  Have also tried all the usual battery saving tricks - wifi is off, GPS is off, EQ is off, etc. Any thoughts before I head to the Genius Bar? Thanks! TCF

iPhone iPhone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred-1 . iPhone 4S

I have been trying to update my iPhone's software for the past few weeks due to my current provider not being found. (A bar that says "Searching" is always at the top where my 3G should be.) Yet whenever I try directly from my iPhone, it always end with an error message. So, yesterday I tried updating directly from itunes and I let it download the new update and all that. However, after it finished trying to update my iPhone, it put my iPhone in a recovery mode and I've been trying to fix it eversince. I can not access my iPhone, all it has is an icon saying to connect to itunes. I've tried troubleshooting, checking my software, updating my computer etc. yet it still leaves me with this message: "The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (-1)." I've looked on the apple site and I've made sure my security is up to date, my computer is up to date, my itunes is up to date and that I have restarted my computer. I am very irritated and I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do because my warranty is over with apple and I still have a few years on my contract. To Change Apple ID on iPhone 3S

Using iPhone 3GS to change Apple ID:  go to SETTINGS; then to  itunes & App Stores, tap your old Apple ID and sign out.  When you sign out it will let you enter a new email, (Apple ID) and (I hand already changed my ID on the Apple Store but not my password) .  So I was able to use the same password.  It already had my credit card info but made me verify the security code.  Easy, just needed to know WHERE to go.

Hi, I purchased an iPhone 5 back in February from an Apple store. Worked absolutely fine until now, where some software issue are appearing; The battery drains ridiculously fast even when features are disabled (i.e. location services, 3G when not needed), and also the home button some time has a lag when exiting apps. This has been bothering me now, but there is a slight blemish on the phone near the earphone jack... would Apple dismiss a replacement and ask for a charge, even though it's 3 months old?

iphone 5 Broken screen

So here goes... I have broken the screen on my iphone 5, it is completly shot but  i can plug it in to itunes. The problem is that i have a passcode on the iphone so i am unable to bacup the phone in itunes as i can not enter the passcode.Is there any way i can remotley access the phone and enter the passcode. I have a new iphone 5 and want to sinc it with the data on my old phone, If anyone can suggest a way around this i would be forever in their debt. I have no old bacup or icloud or the like. I also know i could get the old phone repaired but would rather not spend money on this old phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know im clutchinbg at straws.

Right, my problem is that my iPhone is turned on BUT the screen is blank. How can I get this to turn off or reset and respond to my itunes. I've tried the manual reset by pressing the the sleep/on/off button with the home button at the same time and I get nothing. I've even tried plugging it into my laptop to respond with itunes but that doesn't work either. It will connect to a wall charger with the same wire as that I'm using to connect to the computer.
