HelloMy son has typed in my passcode wrong on my iPhone 5 and it says 'iPhone disabled please connect to itunes'I had rung O2, and they said that the only thing they can do is do a restore on the phone but then everything will be deletedI'm not bothered about the apps getting deleted, it's the photos and videos I am most worried about because they are of my 4 month old daughter since birth and these are the only photos that I have of her. I have only sent around 20 photos to family and friends so if I lose all these photos on my phone then I will only have 20. There are over 2000 pictures of her on my phone so I really really need to get them back I don't have itunes, I have never downloaded it or anything. I have always taken my pictures off just by plugging my phone into the computer, going to My Computer and copy and pasting them like that but I have not done this in 2 months and there are so many photos and videos that will be lost.I downloaded itunes, logged in using my email and password but every time I connect my phone it keeps saying for me to put my password in on the phone but the numbers aren't on the phone screen.Is there any way I can get my photos back?Can Apple get them back for me?Please help  

iphone 4S restore error codes 2006 and 2001. what these actually mean

My son's phone suddenly stopped working. We connected it to the Imac using the USB cable and it came up with a restore procedure suggestion to resolved the issue. We downloaded the latest version of itunes and then we followed the restore process. I then see a pop up error message: The iphone "iphone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (2001).  So I disconnected from the IMac reconnected and re-ran the restore procedure. This time we got the same message but with a 2006 error code.  The phone is less than a year old (bought for Christmas). It has been taken care of with no scratches, bangs or drops. What is happening and what do I need to resolve? Is it something that can be fixed?should it cost me (is this under warranty) to resolve / repair? Hopefully someone can help. Thanks Paul

My sister and myself are getting each others text messages. Help Hard Question iPhone

This whole problem started when I first got my Iphone 5 around christmas time of last year. And i did the normal activation of my new Iphone and syncing my old iphone 4 with this new phone. I synced everything and it was all good, but i started to get these random text from people in my message log. I soon found out that i was recieving every text that was sent to my sister. And if i replied to someone who was texting my sister it would show up like she texted them, not me on a seperate number. Also when i text my sister she would get the text but immidiatly after i sent her it, i would also get a text from myself saying what i sent her. I will literally get a text message from my own number to myself, (Weird ****). So its like my sisters text messaging is fused with mine. Its only messages though, no images or anything else. In the beginging i didnt care about this becasue she wasnt recieving my text i was only getting hers. But now just today she tells me she is getting my text too. And thats a problem! This problem lasted all the way up to about 2 months ago and then i stopped getting her messages. But i gave one of my friends my old iphone 4 and once they activated it for there own use it started to happen again. They use a seperate plan then i do and there number on the phone is different. Before i gave them the phone i wiped everything off of it. i took off the contacts, messages, everything. They use a different apple account and icloud account now on the phone. So idk why it started up again i need help. Here is some background. My whole family shares the same apple account with everything. We have seperate phones, numbers and data for the most part. But with dealing with Icloud and itunes anything like that, we use the same account. My sister uses a Iphone 4s btw. With my old Iphone 4 i had no probelms with this, everything was normal. But once i switched to the new iphone 5 this problem has occured. Idk what this is about, i havent heard anyone else with this problem, but i need help! btw my other family members on their phones do not have this problem. So i think it has to do something with the icloud but im not sure! This is a serious problem and i need help! Goodluck!

Iphone 5 searching

My iphone 5 has continually been "searching" for two days.  I had the sim card swapped twice yesterday and nothing has changed. What could be wrong and what is my next step? More info: I have reset network setting, reset my entire phone as well. It will not allow me to even go through the process of setting up the phone so I'm stuck at the beginning screen. I've tried to set it up through wifi and through itunes with no luck. Before I reset it, it wouldn't allow me to update once the searching problem began.

Apple recently replaced my broken iPhone 4s with a new one. Everything was great, the backup on my computer worked and I had all mystuff from the day before it was replaced. Whenever I try to sync my iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.3, to my new Asus computer with Windows 8, I get a message saying "itunes cannot read the contents of this iPhone. Go to the Summary tab and restore." So I go to Summary and hit restore, and it doesn't seem do anything, other than want to download new iPhone software, which always takes about 4 hours, and I inevitably end up with some sort of error that prevents it from loading.  I've removed and reinstalled itunes, and restarted my phone, but it doesn't seem to work.  I would like to be able to sync to my computer, but it doesn't seem to work.  Before I was on an Asus computer with Windows 7 and it worked fine, and now I can't get it to work at all.  I have the same Internet Security provider as before, so I don't think that's it.   Can anyone figure out what I should do? I recently got an iPhone 5. Downloaded itunes 11 and tried to sync my new phone. Once done I looked at my phone to find that all new contacts since October 2012 had been deleted along with any texts I had received and all the photos I had taken on my new phone. Instead I now have all my old photos and apps from my old phone. But nothing newer than October 2012. How can I get the new stuff back on my phone?

I have noticed that my phone has started to become slow and lagging. I make sure i kill all apps that are running when i am not using them. Connected to Wifi when i can and everything else that i can tell is normal. Just need more advice on what to do. I do not want to hard reset the phone. iPhone won't turn back on

Hi, so last week my phone suddenly turnt off. An hour later I could turn it back on, but then the next day the exact same problem and I couldn't turn it on. About 20 hours later and 5 programs I had fixed it. Then now, its 'died' on me again.  Firstly, I have 100% battery. Connecting to my docking system turns it on but brings up the set up page (connect to itunes on first use) It isn't recognised when plugged into the wall, I've used threee different wires and different wall adapters. itunes can't restore it as half way through my phone cuts out and then itunes can't find it. I don't touch my phone whilst connected so it's an internal issue there.  I have tried other progams and they don't recognise my iPhone either.  Could it be the battery? Should I replace it? Or could it just be loose? It's 2 years old, so yeah I need a new phone. But I currently can't afford to replace it, so I need as much help into getting this one working for now! Ha Ha Also, it's the iPhone 4 and it isn't water damaged.

Hopefully someone here can help me...  My iCloud always shows my backup as being 4.8GB, even with EVERYTHING turned off. After downloading iOS 7 I figured out the problem: I have 4.8 GB of  "Messages (Saved)". This is even after deleting ALL my messages. I'm not sure what this could be. I tried PhoneCleaner, i FunBox, and everything else I can find, but I can't find a way to access or view these messages to delete them. Could someone help me? I started with one iPhone. Then an iPod was added. Then another iPod. And now 2 more iPhones. The phones are all under an A T & T family plan. When setting them up I used the same Apple ID so we would all be able to get the same apps. I'm not sure if this is correct. It is causing problems because any apps that are added to one device it automatically goes to all the other devices. And calendar events are popping up on other devices. iPhone Autoplay doesn t start automatically

When I plug my iPhone 4s up to my Windows 7 64bit PC It is detected by the PC and itunes, but it does not start AutoPlay. I have checked all the basics, making sure autoplay is set to "ask me everytime" the device is plugged up. yet it does not do this. I have reset to defaults on the phone as well as on my PC. AutoPlay still does not come up. This is mainlty an inconvience but still, it SHOULD just work and it doesnt. So any suggestions besides what I've already tried would be awesome. I tried to update my iPhones IOS and when I did, it said that I needed to restore my iPhone, so I did, or I tried. When I went to restore it, it worked for a little while, then stopped and pulled up a error that says "there was a problem downloading the software for the iPhone, " iPhone " . An unknown network error occurred (9006). I have searched everywhere for a solution to my problem, to find no solution. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, turning in off firewalls, virus protectors, etc. I am very desperate to fix this problem because my iphone is a paperweight until this problem is resolved, please help me!

I have an iPhone 4S. My software and itunes versions are up to date. My computer runs Windows XP (not so up to date, I know). Here's my dilemma: I'm in the middle of a legal battle (details don't really matter). Point is, I need the ENTIRE conversation to use as evidence in court. Phones are not allowed in the courtroom so I'm left with no other option except to figure out how to print them. I have called my service provider to try and get the transcripts. They told me to call the Apple Help Center. I called Apple, they told me to talk to my service provider. The typical run around. I finally spoke with someone who somewhat sounded like they knew what they were doing, but their only suggestion for me was to download an app that would allow me to export the messages off of my phone onto my computer. Unfortunately, he could not suggest any app inparticular (go figure).  Here's my other problem: because I'm in the middle of a legal battle, I'm a little short on funds. Does anyone know of any programs for download that are similar to BackupTrans that I can use for free? OR, there is an app in the AppStore called "SMS Export" made by Fabrizio Farenga for $5.99... Can anyone tell me if this app is worth the 6 bucks to purchase (does it actually work?)? I desparately need this conversation to use in court. Someone please give me some ideas!

Hey guys, I can play music and hear it just fine, with or without headphones. When I press on the keypad I can hear the noise it makes, I can hear calls with my headphones plugged in, or when the speaker option is on, however, unless this happens, I can't hear the person I am on the phone with. I've tried restarting, resetting, earasing all content, and restoring it with itunes and that didn't work. I've tried cleaning the ports with a toothbrush, or pressing gently on the microphone and that didn't work.I've tried calling with the headphone on, and taking them off in the middle of the call and that didn't work either. I am currently outside of the US so I can't go to an Apple store, so I am wondering if any of you guys have been succesful at solving this problem. Full correct steps should be like this : 1) Select a favourite song in itunes program to be made into Ringtone...-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------2) "Get Info" on that song name and make any 0:30 seconds portion of that song.... (specify "Start" & "Stop" time - under "Options" – to any 30-seconds duration and click OK)-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------3) Right-click or Ctrl-Click again on same song name and select "Create AAC Version" to create an .m4a file...(when done itunes will create a Chime)-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------4) to locate the created .m4a file easily, Ctrl-Click again on same song name and select "Show in Finder" from the pop-up list...(itunes will automatically point the folder location of the original .mp3 & the newly created .m4a files... keep this window open for later...)-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------5) change the .m4a file to .m4r as suggested... (rename to whatever you like but you must change the extension to .m4r)-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------6) At this point, the m4r(original) file isn't a "Ringtone" file yet... which we'll need to change now...) (check under "Get Info" > "Kind" :  it's still "Apple MPEG-4 Audio")...1st by dragging that newly changed .m4r(ori) file to somewhere out of that same default folder it was created by itunes... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------{ this is where most confusions occur, take note here, it gets rather complicated }-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------7) Once it's outside of that folder, Double Click the m4r(ori) file and itunes will play...(u can stop it immediately...) this is just to let itunes automatically convert that m4r(ori) file into a new duplicate & places it inside the initial default folder where the original .mp3 file is kept... we kept the window open previously, remember? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------8) Locate that duplicate .m4r(new & true) file, in that same .mp3 folder and now DUPLICATE-Drag (press Option while dragging to get the "+" sign) it to the "TONES" folder in your default apple folder structure. (check under "Get Info", this .m4r(new) File's "Kind" should be "Ringtone")//to get to that "TONES" Folder : First Locate your itunes default Music Folder in your Mac --> usually it's in your Default "MUSIC" folder --> Navigate to "itunes Media"  --> Navigate to "Tones". !! Keep this window open to make the transfer manually !!-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------9) Once your duplicate is placed inside the "Tones" folder, double-click on that duplicate .m4r(true) file and let itunes play, it should automatically place that ringtone file into the "Ringtone" sidebar List in the itunes program... (check program to see) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------Somehow u needed both duplicates : 1 – inside the default initial .mp3 folder & 1 – inside the Tones Folder which we Duplicate+Drag into... and both must be "Ringtone" – Kind... for this to work.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------10) There you go. Now you can Sync / Delete / Add the whole Ringtone contents to your iPhone as you wish. //Don't forget to set SYNC ON under the iphone  "Tones" tab in your itunes - iPhone screen... and click big SYNC button at the bottom of itunes program & wait for the magic.( Finally you can check inside your iPhone "Sounds" settings and hopefully if all steps done correctly, the bloodycomplicatedringtone selection will be there. Enjoy!

Help with my iPhone 5.

So today I want to restore my iPhone 5 to 6.0. I have tried to do so by getting the firmware of the correct form, (my make of my phone, model number, etc) and for some reason it won't restore. I've tried 2 different ones, 6.0 and 6.1 and to no avail. On itunes it keeps coming up with 'Error 3194' I have researched into this and I have done as instructed on the official Apple error code help page, but still, it doesn't work, can anyone help?
