Hi, I have an iPhone 5. Sometimes I use the MobileVOIP app for Voip calls. After the 6.1.4 update the application does not send the audio to the speaker (both call speaker and external speaker). It seems that the application recognize the earphones also without plugging them or it is not able to reach the internal speaker. The application works good with earphones. Also trying with skype, they don't work. Since the update focused on audio-problems, are there settings to solve this problem? Do any of you have the same problem? Thank You Roberto

I know that its most likely a hardward issue as stated in the forum. Now here is the problem.  I bought the iphone from a local (philippines) online reseller http://lazada.com.ph.  Lazada would only give the the apple 1-800-1441-0234 number and will not accept any repairs and service.  I would never purchase anything from lazada specially electronics because of how they handled my case. Absolutely no support and repair /service channels for iphones bought from them.  As per lazadas advice, I called the 1800 number and was again adviced to call the local carriers.  I was adviced by the apple chat support to contact my local carriers. Local carriers like smart and globe would only accept repairs and service for iphones bought from them. I visited several local apple reseller stores and they decline to render service because the unit was not bought from them. I cant seem to get technical support and have the iphone checked by an authorized service center. What and where is the proper channel for me to get support and have the unit repaired or replaced? Thank you in advance.

New Facebook Update Not Working iPhone 4

A few weeks ago I updated to the new fb chat head feature on my iPhone 4 and it worked perfectly. However, the next day I got another update for the sticker feature, but after updating to this addition neither features appeared. The new fb was present, but my chat head feature was no longer there and no stickers either! Facebook chat just appeared like it did before I updated any of it, but the other aspects (e.g. news feed, etc.) are updated. Does anyone know how this happened and what can I do to fix it?

Hi guys, I've used apple for 5 years now. Started with an Iphone 3GS and since then I could not use any other brand as a Cel Phone, and I tried, believe me I tried. I used an Iphone 4 for 3 years without having any problem, without having to even call Apple. Then, by the end of the last year I went to London for a trip. I bought an Iphone 5 and came back to my home country, that is Brazil...Used it for 4 months or so and it started having problems with the wake and sleep button, then I thought, "ok, apple is a worldwide company, they are reliable, that's the main reason for me to have bought it for so long and the phone still in warranty, they will trade it for me" so I called apple...For the first time in 5 years...And I did not get answered properly. Apple states that since I bought the Iphone in london, they warranty can only be used for trading the phone in london...I have no intentions of going to london this year, what meand I will lose my warranty and the money I spent with my Iphone.  To clarify, I did go to Washington for a better support, but they stated the same...I called apple and they stated that the Iphone is broken and needs to be traded but it can only be done in london. An analyst called James Downs told me to call apple regent street that's the one where I bought the Iphone and when I called there for getting my money back because they are not providing the proper support for my iphone they state that I need to take the Iphone to the store... End of the story, I have a broken Iphone, I am frustrated with apple, because they are acting as they do not care for the costumer at all. In my point of view, they should escalate the problem, call the brazilian store and trade my phone or ship me a brand new one. I took the iphone to different stores in different countries that I have access and so far nothing. Apple does not care, my iphone is 4 months old and is already broken...If nothing is done I'll be very frustrated, I'll be at least ****** because it seems I'll not have my money back because the store states they will not do that even though an apple consultant says it and I have no way of taking the phone to the store. Please, can anybody from apple help me with that? I really want my phone or my money...If you can just ship me a new one I'll be ok with that..But you should do something, you are apple, not some other ****** company around the world, will you not honor your brand?

Hello Apple Community : ) Unfortunately my old faithful 3GS recently gave up the ghost so I purchased an iphone 4S via e-bay but from an individual seller opposed to a company. (1st mistake....) Phone's a 32GB in white and to be fair works fine in every way except the camera?? I've attached a couple of photos I've just taken with my phone and another iphone 4 and I'm sure you can see the difference!! All pictures are coming out majorly cloudy/soft?? Basically sh*t! I just activated an iphone 4 with straight talk aboout a week or two ago and my internet is not working I have called them many times and they finaly told me to contact apple because all the setting information the phone needs is updated and they think it might be just a setting or something that is not right so the internet access can conect.So I'm wondering if you can help me find ot what that setting is or exactly what is going on with the phone that is not letting me get the internet access. Since the ios6.0 update, deleted contacts can't be deleted from the new message case. It is amazing that more people are not aware of the problem and are speaking out about it. As a professor, I have new students whose contacts I input into my iPhone each semester after sending a text mail the contact cannot be deleted from the "new message" cashe. It can be deleted from contacts but remains in the cashe. The only way to delete the cashe is a full restore. Resetting does not even work. Restoring is a horrible way to delete contacts permanently. I have contacted Apple repeatedly. They are aware of the problem but do not seem to be concerned. With each update, I expect the bug to be fixed. I hope to get the attention of Samsung with this. I know they could create another embarrassing ad campaign and Apple will resolve the issue in seconds. Apple is not the great company it used to be.

There is an oficial re-seller of Apple company in my country (Kazakhstan). I called them and asked, they said the international warranty doesn't cover Kazakhstan. Hello how come? Iphone 5 - No Service & WIFI keeps dropping I recently upgraded from an Iphone 4 to a 5 and since then I am having a nightmare with connectivity.  My phone constantly says No Service or doesn’t pick up WIFI in places my old phone worked absolutely fine.  I am with the same company, Orange, so it isn’t a change to service provider.  I know the phone is at fault as I commute the same way every day etc and never had this issue before.   Any ideas?  Orange (bandits!) won’t speak to me as it is outwith the 14 days cooling off period!

iTunes Movie Trailers App won t show Arclight Cinemas iPhone 3G

Hey, For some reason when I opened my iTunes Movie Trailers App today, none of the Arclight Cinemas in LA are listed (they used to be).  They're not on the theatre map and none of the showtimes appear.  Did something happen?  Is this just a short term glitch (i.e. they forgot to report their showtimes)?  did Arclight purposely request to be removed from the app?  Or is the app just being stupid? Is anyone else noticing this issue?   I also checked the website, http://trailers.apple.com, and they aren't listed on there either, so I'm wondering if it's a company policy thing...   P.S. I wanted to list this under a "iTunes Movie Trailers App" location but couldn't find any such thing in the support communities.  Did I miss it?

  Hello,In February I got a white iPhone 5 32GB Verizon company. The device was purchased at Apple Store Galleria in Fort Lauderdale. The device has a light leak under the lock button, Also have a strange problem that exists only in my house, it connects to wifi whenever the mood strikes him.I currently hold two iPhones 5, one 16 GB purchased in Israel and one of Verizon - the device was bought in Israel and another two devices 4s bought in Orlando work really well on the wireless network, while the iPhone's Verizon shows one bar of wifi and moves very fast to the 3g local network.I unplugged the modem and reset the network settings on the device and it did not help ): In a month and a half I'll fly to Tampa, Florida. If want to replace the device should come with the original receipt?Or they will see that it was purchased from them by its serial number? the reception is under the name of my uncle.   The most important thing about it: I have 280 songs on my iphone, if I replace the iphone they can pass the songs to the new new phone?   If I decide to replace the iphone, I will get a new device out of the box and the same model (verizon a1429 CDMA) and size (32 GB)?The iPhone is brand new or refurbished? I just started to get a SIM Failure Pop up on my iphone 5on Thursday while traveling and using Maps fornavigation. I cannot seem to remove or repair this error.I have gone to yoru support page and followedinstructions on how to reset network.I first tried to send a text and failure came up. Then resetnetwork and text went through, but pop up still came upwith Sim Failure every time I turn my phone on.I also followed instructions to remove Sim Card whenturned off and Reinserted it and that did not work either.What do I do? 3g data connection on iPhone 4s inconsistent

Sometime around the Feb 8, I suddenly lost capability to access the internet thru the Virgin/Sprint 3g network and Safari.  Wifi works fine, as well as phone and text.  Have contacted Virgin multiple times with no result.  Spent 3 hours in Apple store, who gave me a new 4s but it has the same problem.  Have tried every solution seen on the net, including soft & hard reboots, toggling Airplane mode, and network reset.  I have not yet done a factory reset, holding that as a last resort. Odd thing is that some apps do work on 3g: Phone, Messages, Google Maps, Translator, Game Center, skype, Clock, Xfinity TV, iCloud, and Opera Mini. What doesn't work are: Safari, Weather Channel, Xfinity Mobile, Google, Chrome, Dictionary, Stocks, Apple App & iTunes Store, Movie Night, Gas Buddy, White Pages, Apple Maps, Google Earth, and many more. The odd thing is that I can access Google through Opera Mini, and that works fine. I left the Apple Store convinced that the problem lay with Virgin Wireless, but after a lot of online investigation, I am beginning to think that it may be an iPhone problem. Is there anybody out there who can make some sense of what works and what doesn't and diagnose this problem so I can get the phone working back to where it is supposed to?

Iphone 4s running hot

Hi I have an Iphone 4s running hot, I have followed the process's on here (backup and restore) and starting a fresh on the phone and still have the same issue.  I have taken it to a local mobile phone dealer who has changed my battery and it still has the same issue, my battery is running hot like an application is constantly running.  I am now booked into the Apple store next week Monday.  I wanted to know, will this invalidate my warranty if I tell them I have changed the battery as I assumed it was a battery issue. It was changed by an approved phone dealership who is an accredited company for Nokia and Samsung and also do Iphone repairs/replacement.  I don't want to walk in there and them assuming the battery has been changed so they wont touch the phone now and say it is my fault.  Thanks
