Hello! I live in Russia and love Apple very much, have many different products and never had any problems with them. And now I decided to buy a new iphone 5 and wasn't lucky. I bought it on 3.05.2013 in normal shop, then turned out that wi-fi and bluetooth are not working and the phone eats battery very fast. Shop doesn't want take it back, official services don't want to repair it for free, because it was made for USA. I really don't know what to do:( To buy android? YouTube not available iphone 3G
Take your time to write a thoughtful comment on a video, hit send, and it's gone, "youtube is not available". It happens frequently on the iphone app yet never happens on the desktop site. This bug has followed the youtube app across multiple phones (OG & 3G), multiple OS updates, and still happens randomly. Not having a feature is better than one that frequently doesn't work, and frustrates, as well as wastes your time...I'm so ready to checkout the latest from HTC I copied this question from an archived thread from 2009. I'm having the same issue. I comment on YouTube a couple of times and it's fine, the third time it completely blocks me. It's very frustrating. Looking at the replies from 4 years ago it seems that its definitely the app that has the issue, not the main website. Something to do with capture was the solution last time. Why do I have this issue now, does anyone else have this problem?iPad 3' iphone4sPlease sort it out, it's getting hard to defend iphone these days!
I'm restoring my iphone 4S on iTunes 11.0 and it's stuck on restoring firmware
My phone won't send picture messages to any phone other than an iphone and when I googled it, the solution was to restore it.So I did. Downloading the software itself took nearly 3 hours, but whatever. My phone restarted, but now the bar is stuck at ~3/4 done and it's on "restoring firmware". It's been this way for over 20min. I use iTunes 11.0 and Windows 7.Can anyone help me out? Would it be bad to reboot my computer at this stage?
iphone 4S bluetooth issue
The thing is that i've been trying to use my iphone 4S as master transmiter of GPS signals and accelerometer data for my ipad mini to use an app called air navigation pro, the deal is that when i try to pair my devices vía bluetooth they just seem not to recognize each other, the only way i can get them to work is by using personal hotspot or share internet option vía bluetooth, but thats the only way.I've heard theres a bug related to that, that our friends in cupertino just ignored when they updated IOS, Anyone can help me?, does Anyone has Any info about this, or maybe a solution.By the way since this may be due to my IOS instaled in my iphone my devices are:-Ipad mini wifi only IOS 6.1.3-iphone 4s IOS 6.1.3Thanks in advance for Any info proportioned
iphone 5 suddenly no sound
I recently had a software update (6.1.4) on my iphone 5. I ran the update last week and everything seemed fine. However, as of yesterday my phone no longer made sound, it just stopped making sounds to everything. It makes no sound when it rings, when I receive a text/email or when I try to listen to music. The sound is completely dead. The little switch on the left of the phone is turned on for volume. I did a reset and nothing seems to help. Has anyone encountered this problem? Does anyone have a solution?

Hi There i have my iphone 5 now for few Months, im travelling a lot between Europe and Asia, there was never a prob. But on Sunday when i arrive in Malaysia and switsch the Flight Modus off, since then the Phone is not accepting any Carrier. If i chooose Manual Mode he finds the Carrier, but still the phone is not taking over the Carrier. I have already reseted some times, and also found a topic in the net what say to switsch on and off a few times the Flight mode, nothing helps !! So please somebody give me a solution, this is my buissines phone !!

my iphone 3gs had lower version of iOS and i wasnt able to download watsapp. during downloading its says update iOS 4.3 and i did connect my phone with iTunes. and i did fully update with 6.1.3 version.now I not able to activate my iPhone3GS after updated to ios6.1.3. The message said the activation server is unavailable but it has been unavailable for more than 24hours. It's abnormal, please help. I've my iphone 5 since February 2013. One day I turned it off and since then I cannot turn it on, I've tried to pushed both the off/on button on the top and the round button on the front at the same time for about 15 seconds - it's didn't help. I can't turn it on. The solution with iTunes didn't help as well. The iphone is dead.I bought the iphone in USA at Apple store in the Internet. I live in Israel. What can I do? I understood that in Israel there is no support or service for iphones that didn't bought in Israel.Can I send it with DHL to USA and Apple will fix it or replace it to a working one? iphone 4s Software Update fail from 5.1.1 to 6.1.3
Hey everyone I have been holding back from updating my iOS on my iphone 4s (I know - not a smart move) I am currently still on 5.1.1 and trying to update to 6.1.3 (finally) from the phone itself (not via iTunes) I am trying to downlaod and install the update using Wi-Fi connectivity, but it just wouldn't let me? Kept saying An Error occured while downloading... It didn't give me any error code or any other explanation. It just simply won't update I know it was silly of me to begin with for not updating for so long, but I don't understand why my phone is rejecting the update? If this is even what is happening.. Also I sent my iMac for repair recently, came back with a Lion (which was what I had on there previously anyway) but it wasn't updated? So I couldn't just open iTunes and restore all my contacts.. AND I am still currently in the process of downloading the updates - but something always happens as well, an error occured that I have to re-download the update, internet drops on and off, etc. -- The reason I wanted to update was (this is a whole separate problem) my 4s kept crashing the apps, not doing anything out of ordinary - it just crashes everytime i start or a open an app. So I would hard reset my phone (turning it off and on again) and then I would find all my contacts gone. No other entries are gone, just my contact names! All messages and calendar entries are all still there - just no contact names in my address book. ***? After sleuthing here and there, and found no real solution to this problem. I decided to update my iOS because one of the discussion thread I found told me to try that. Heck, why not. SO I tried uploading and this is where I end up.. Does ANYONE have any idea what the **** is going on? Does anyone else out tehre have the same problem? Surely this is not just me!!

Matt00 was nice enough to suggest a solution to no avail. I feel it's a bug in the new app that hopefully will be fixed in next fix. I wouldn't mind using a wire through iTunes but now using a Mophie juice box for a iphone 5, their wire won't download or manage iTunes. They admitted they can't but could with a iphone 4. Any other suggestions anyone. I can't believe I'm the only one. Subscribed podcast are Rush Limbaugh 24/7 and Kim Komando 24/7.PS: It's very difficult to remove the Mophie juice box from the iphone 5.

Hello! I´m soo frustrated right now - it seems i can not get my new iphone 5 to work... I broke the screen my iphone 5 aproximatley 4 mounths ago, and bought a new screen on ebay. I bought this for over 300 dollars, and got a friend to fix it. (and paid him as well) He broke one of the thin wires when he was changing the screen, making the front camera and speaker useless. Except that, the phone worked just fine. Then he bought a new wire, installed that, and i got it back. But now, it wont work! When i start it just a picture of an USB cable towards an itunes brand appear... and i have litterally tried everything. No matter what I do, I can not fix it, or restore it - the error code 1611 or 1603 appears om my mac screen when I connect it to itunes, and I get no further than that. And Ive uptaded all the programs, tried holding in home and of/on-button, go into the "hosts" on my mac (if you dont understand what i ment by that, just ask) Can somebody please help me? Im cryin here, Ive used so much money on this and it does not work. Whats wrong with it? Ive tried every possible solution that appears on google, NOTHING works. I didn't bought the phone from Apple, but maybe I can send it in to them and I can get a new one? I dont expect that, but Ive would be in heaven

There is not another solution. If the phone shows offline, then the battery has died, someone picked it up and turned it off, or removed the SIM, or has restored the device. Also, if you contact your carrier and have them suspend the service, that will render Find My iphone useless.
Who have found solutions to iphone battery draining issues after upgrading iphone to iOS 6.1.2 and 6.1.3 iphone 4S
I have iphone 4S that is UNLOCKED. I noticed after upgrading to iOS 6.1.2 and 6.1.3 the battery is draining quickly. - I searched thru the Apple forum and internet and followed troubleshooting steps to dissable any settings and applications that might increased the battery usage. Still after all the troubleshooting, my iphone has battery drain issues. - I called Apple and talked to customer support. The guy did his best effort to solve the problem but the solutions that he provided me I have already done it. I sent him a system report of my iphone and he told me that the iphone is operating fine. I asked him if there is a way that I can downgrade the iOS 5 and he told me that it is not possible. 1. Who has the same problem and found a solution? Please provide the solution?2. Has someone been able to downgrade to iOS 5? Please provide steps? Thanks

I had a screen sensitivity issue with my original 4s. It would react to my finger getting within about 1/4 inch of the screen, and would auto dial without anyone touching the screen. Fortunately, It happened to actually do this in front of one of the 'geniuses' on my third trip to the apple store so they replaced the phone about 5 months ago. I was given a 90 day warranty on the new phone. It worked fine until last week.It started cycling on and off. Then it wiped the phone and all of my apps. I restored the phone but there would be a noticeable hesitation between when I touched the screen and when the touch registered. This went on for two days.During those two days the power indicator did not ever show any indication there had been any battery drain, but always showed 100% charged, days, then went dead without ever showing it was discharging. I took it to the Apple store. They tried to do the same restore I had. The phone came back on, but then cuts on and off to the Apple logo. The battery will take a charge, but as it sits on the charger it cuts on and off. The store solution was for me to purchase a new phone since they either had no idea what the problem was, or wouldn't tell me. The phone has not had rough treatment or been exposed to water or excessive moisture. Any suggestions?

Is it safe to double tap home screen. Hold down icon till it wiggles, and then tap on red minus to shut down an app? I was told by a tech at store this wasn't good? Yet others say it is. I don't want to stress out my phone. What's the best solution?

I had never faced any need for warranty repairs or any such thing previously. My luck with the iphone 5 was not the same. Just 5 Months and my Sleep/Wake button just refuses to work. But the Horror was when i reached the Zain Telecom store in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. I was told by them that Apple has refused to take Any iphone exibiting Scuffing or Scratches as this renders the iphone out of warranty. It just Dosnt make any Sense when Senior Apple SVP for Marketting Phill Schiller Him self on 25 Septeber 2012 in an email to an apple user have acknowledged that this kind of scuffing is natural to any aluminium product. I would like some one from Apple to Respond to this issue of mine and give me a solution. The worst part is there no authorised service in the country. Hi I purchased iphone5 in December. It was working fine till now (only if we ignore the heating of the device while charging). But then 2 days back i suddenly noticed flickering of the display on my phone's screen . I searched it on the internet and found that there are many people who have been facing this problem and with their discussions it was concluded that it is a software problem. I got a sigh of relief and dint bother about it. But after half an hour i noticed that my dispaly is gone There was a black screen though the functions work fine as i was able to hear the sound of clicks and reciever calls through earphones. I dont know what has happened to my phone suddenly. I tried hard rebooting also but it dint work. Still looking for a solution I am sitting with a phone with no display and cz its nano sim, it is restricting me from using it in any other phone.I dint expect such a problem in Apple atleast :
SOUND BAR SUDDENLY DISSAPEAR iphone 4
It looks like a very common problem but I need a solution. I have an iphone 4 GSM and some times the sound bar dissapear and the only sound I can hear is the ring tone. Non the messages tone, sound on videos, music, keyboard clicks or the block/unblock sounds are available. I been told that the porblem is caused by an error on a file named: com.apple.iapd.plist is there a way to fix or repair this file? I will appreciate any help you can provide.

Problems deleting Voice Memo s iphone 3G
Hello!Im new to the forum but after looking through the forums relating to this issue and trying everything suggested i still have a problem with deleteing voice memo's! The problem:My iphone has no music songs, videos etc on at all only apps and photos. I recently restored from back up but chose to add my songs manually but before i even got that far the voice memo's playlist was already on my iphone and 123 voice memo's are on the phone and are also in the "music" section of the iphone, these voice notes are from last year! I have deleted all voice memos from the app itself and also deleted all voice memos from itunes itself and then sync'd but these voice memos remain! Itunes wont let me delete the voice notes from the iphone through itunes whether that be though the playlist or through the music tab and as they dont show up anywhere on the phone im out of ideas! Has any one got a solution? its driving me insane and its over 2GB of voice notes and i think its contributing to my 3.5GB of "other"! Hi,I have notice that with the new upgrade of iOS 6.1.3 in my new iphone 5 the battery duration it is decrease a lot with the same use. Before also two days with one chard and now, with the upgrade only six-nine hours. LTE data and bluetooth are disable. There's someone who could tell me an explanation or maybe a solution???? iphone 4 stuck in Apple logo screen
I have an iphone 4, that I had to replace the LCD, power switch - proximity sensor cable, and home button on. After I had made the repairs (after making sure everything was reassembled correctly) I then proceeded to turn the device on.Now it will only display the Apple logo at startup.When I turn the phone off (via the Home + Sleep/wake method) it will sometimes revert back to the Apple logo screen. I have reset the phone (gone through recovery mode) at least 5 times to correct the issue, yet it still is not working correctly.The only software change that had been made to it, was that I had updated it to the most recent version of iOS. And that was approx. 2 weeks before the issues with the phone.Is there another solution to fixing this phone, or is it basically done? (If I can, I really need to get this phone fixed (if at all possible).Thank-you.

My WI-FI is not working for 15 days, since I upgraded the software to 6.1.3. The buttom is grayed out.There was a huge forum over more than 210 pages about the subject but seems like Apple prefer to erase the forum because I can not access it anymore. I tried everything.1. Turn on and off2. Flight mode3. Reset Network connections4. Reset the iphone - ITUNES. Everything, more than once, thousand times... and nothing. I read that the only solution is to replace or the iphone or the hardware. My warranty expired a month ago. The repair seems to cost over 200 €!!! iphone 5 Troubles
Hi all, Recently I've been having this problem with my iphone 5. I picked up my phone and it was suddenly off. When I tried to turn it back on, the Apple logo would show up for a few seconds and then the screen would turn black again. It wasn't low on battery, but I tried to plug it in anyways, thinking maybe it died. When I plugged it in, the Apple logo came on as if it were booting up, but then the logo faded within approximately five seconds. After it faded, a new apple logo reappeared, and it faded again. This kept repeating itself over and over when plugged in. It continues when unplugged, and only stops when I hold the home and lock button at the same time for around ten seconds. I searched for hours to find a solution, and the only one given was to restore it, and I tried that because I had recently made a backup for the phone. The only problem with this was that the iphone would show the same repeating fading boot up that it did before when plugged in, and for some reason my iTunes nor my computer read that the phone was plugged in. The phone simply didn't pop up. I'm really hoping that my phone isn't broken, and that I can fix this. Any feedback is very helpful. Thanks
iphone camera went all blurry all of sudden iphone 5
I take pictures often with Instagram and SnapChat but yesterday I wanted to take a picture and the back camera is all blurry all the sudden. I googled this and it seems others have had the same issue but I could'nt discover a solution. It's able to focus on close ups but cant focus any farther than that. I don''t feel its a hardware problem I feel like its a software issue which controls the camera mechanism.

Hi there, I'm from the UK and have an iphone 4, 6.1.3, on T-mobile, and I can't seem to receive MMS messages. I've looked online for a solution and people have mentioned the need to change APN settings, which I understand you access through the 'cellular data network' tab in the settings menu, but this tab is not showing up on my iphone. With this being the case, how can I go about enabling MMS on my iphone? This is driving me nuts at the moment, any help at all would be extremely appreciated. Thanks, Joe

Oh so the lock button is barely pressable. I have to push extreme hard for the lock screen to turn on and off. Are there any easy solution? Or like options? I really hae no idea what to do. I blew on it to see if dubris was stopping it from working, but it didn't help :(

charging not supported with this accessory iphone 4
Has anyone come across this problem? It started at 3am this morning. The noise the phone makes when you first connect it to the charger was going off every few seconds. Since then it kind of charges then eventually jumps to the "Charging is not supported with this accessory" notice. Not sure what else to try. Its on the latest software version etc and I have tried 3 chargers and plugging it into the laptop but no joy. This is the 2nd iphone 4 I have had in 2 years. First one the home button broke after 7 months and this one is now doing this. I have seen lots of post about this but cant seem to find a solution.

Since yesterday on my iphone 4 IOS 5.1.1 in the original YouTube App all recently played videos AND favorites get deleted everytime i close the YouTube App. Has anyone a solution for this problem?

Well, this is the situation, iphone 4S stops ringing and producing any audio FX only do vibrating alerts.No ring at incoming callsNo ring at incoming messagesNo sound in music player (but I have sound with inserted headphones plug)No sound at any appAnd Yes, I passed through "volume configuration", "side button", "do not disturb", "restore", "re-set" and all of the possible "common sense" options. Otherwise I would not be looking for a solution here, where people go to find solutions in the last place, when all other options have been exhausted. There is a lot of rumors about last "defective" iOS upgrades and many people reporting the same kind of problem: Our expensive apparatus stops producing sound. If I can't hear incoming calls it means it's not a phone anymore.Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't want to read "Build your own iphone" book. I just want to know if is there a solution for this particular problem or not? If "yes", what I have to do? If "not" I want my money back. (well the last argument is not for you guys).
Can i switch iphone models iphone 5
i bought a model A1428 from the US but i live in Kuwait. the iphone works perfectly fine except for the fact that it does not support 4G in Kuwait. since im not living in the US, thats a problem. is there anyway i can switch models? and if i can, will the verizon model support 4G in kuwait? i am going to the US in a couple of months so hopefully i will have a solution by then.
