Good night;guys, I have a problem and would like some help:I bought it on Amazon, 1 iphone 5 Unlocked, factory unlocked. The device functioned normally and after an update, it did not take over my chip and says the device is locked (is asking to put a valid chip). After several attempts, I got in touch with the Apple of my country (Brazil), and to my surprise, the search for the serial device, they reported that the device is locked by Sprint and manufactures do not accept support or exchange (The unit has 1 month bought with full price in amazon), telling me to settle with Amazon. I insisted informing them that the unit was purchased unlocked and they also reported that this device is aimed at the European market, it works with CDMA and GSM and Apple Brazil suporPelas just the research I have done and talking to some people, I passed the information that Sprint can easily inform this code (or Imei) not sure which unlocks the device again, but have no information on how to get or do that. I contacted Amazon stating what happened and I'm waiting for a position within it, is to send the code or return the handset. My model is the A1429. Eu comprei o aparelho desbloqueado, pagando mais caro e é justo que possa utilizar ele onde quiser. Entrei em contato com a Amazon informando o ocorrido e estou aguardando uma posição deles, seja para envio do código ou retorno do aparelho. Meu modelo é o A1429. Alguém tem alguma sugestão para ajudar?

Alternating Data Service iphone 4S

Mainly my problem is that most of the time now i have to switch toEDGE and then back to 4G to get faster internet. I have an iphone 4S Unlocked, I am using   t-mobile and i have made sure that it is not the service nor the SIM.Ive reset the setting, ive had a restore again to a new iphone, and ive tried to downgrade my carrier version back to carrier 14.0 from t-mobile 14.1.It worked before i restored to IOS 6.1.3 because of memory issuess. I have made my way arround how IOS works and most of the technical stuff to do with it. Overall, How can i fix this or what can i do essentaily to bring back my faster and more reliable internet? p.s DIdnt know where this would go so i posted it here. p.s+ Yes i was jailbroken before i restored. At that time i had good cellular internet

My iphone 5 freezes EVERY time I try to open contact or addedit contact and freezes up pretty much on everything I .

My iphone 5 operates at about the speed of dial-up internet.  Every time I try to do something I have to wait. My harddrive is not even close to being full and I always close out of my programs so I am confused.  It is mainly a problem with contacts (adding, editing, viewing, anything). I also occasionally hardware reset (power and home button same time) to try and help but to no avail. Is this an Apple issue that a trip to the Apple Store will take care of?  I am just sick and tired of having upgraded to an iphone 5 only to step backwards in speed and performance, plus switching over deleted over half of my contacts even though I had icloud set up on my 4 and also on my 5 so it should have been seamless.  Is my phone a lemon?

iphone 4s stuck in recovery mode. Error code-1 .

I recently bought my iphone 4s from a guy (who bought it from someone else). He sold it to me pretty cheap because when he bought it, one of his friends tried to restore it for him and it got stuck in recovery mode. I have no idea if the phone has ever been "tampered with" or not. He didn't seem to know much about it (said it was his first smartphone) and I thought I might have a chance of fixing it. I'm starting to lose faith in that...I've tried almost everything I can find. I know there are tricks for this all over the internet and I've tried almost all of them. TinyUmbrella does nothing, Redsn0w won't even install on my computer (frustrating!). Trying to restore from iTunes is useless. It gets to about 90% then comes up with error code (-1) and gives up. I've tried that route probably 20 times with no change. I know I could take it into Apple and they could look at it, but I have no information on the phone itself. I cannot get the serial number. Does anyone have any suggestions at all? I'll try anything that doesn't require me taking it to Apple and getting charged more than I paid for the phone to fix it....I run Windows 7. Thanks so much!

Re iphone 4s wifi

My iphone 4s no longer allows me to connect to any wifi connections. The option is greyed out and wont let me do anything to it. I have tried restarting and resetting the network connections and all  settings but this has not worked. The wifi came back briefly randomly at one or two points but could not find any wifi networks. I have read on the internet it is probably a hardware problem so I will be taking it back to apple next week. Just wondered if anyone had any further ideas about the problems?

The thing is that i've been trying to use my iphone 4S as master transmiter of GPS signals and accelerometer data for my ipad mini to use an app called air navigation pro, the deal is that when i try to pair my devices vía bluetooth they just seem not to recognize each other, the only way i can get them to work is by using personal hotspot or share internet option vía bluetooth, but thats the only way.I've heard theres a bug related to that, that our friends in cupertino just ignored when they updated IOS, Anyone can help me?, does Anyone has Any info about this, or maybe a solution.By the way since this may be due to my IOS instaled in my iphone my devices are:-Ipad mini wifi only IOS 6.1.3-iphone 4s IOS 6.1.3Thanks in advance for Any info proportioned

Desperate- way to extract location history of my iphone where I have been

Please help- its my understanding that iphone stores where you have been (location history). When I was searching the internet to see if I could access this info, I found Pete wardens iphone tracker download (I think it came out in April 2011), but then I read that apple fixed this problem of storing this info on your computer too, by releasing a software update shortly after. Is that correct? If I backup my iphone to computer will it have a file on there that stores the history of where I and my iphone have been? Or is this no longer the case? I desperately need a log with time stamps, I need to prove where I have been in the last week (marriage problems). If iphone only keeps this info on the phone now, can I access it somehow?Thanks for your help-Alisha

Hi there, Im scott, I dont own an iphone so know nothing whatsoever about them. this is our issue pls help :   My sister purchased an iphone 4 from a woman at her work. Her husband upgraded to iphone 5 so sold his old one to my sister. My sister currently has a blackberry on contract to virgin media here in England. She took her BB along with her new iphhone to a local phone shop They cut her simcard down to size and put it into the iphone. When we turned it on we got this message 'only compatible sim cards from a support carrier....... '  I called our current contract to exdplain what we were intending to do and swap settings from a blackberry to her new iphone... they said we needed to contact the original service provider... here lies our issue.  My sister works as a nurse.. she called her collgue to explain all this and ask what network he was on. She doesnot kno and her husband isnt home for another cpl weeks he is military. My sister doesnt want to wait a few weeks to use her new phone. Is there anyway to unlock and activate this phone giving all the detials of the phone and confirmation from his wife regarding the new user ?  Ive read on the internet about jailbraking and all that nonsense.. but i dont want to damage the phone.. It isnt stolen isnt lost sureley i dont have to 'hack' into a perfectly legitimate phone to use do i?   My sister simply wants it to work with her contracted sim .. with the benifits and features iphone offers. I'm having an issue with my wifi/network internet connection. Wifi will work fine sometimes but then wont work unless I turn wifi off/on again. Also when leaving my home my phone wont switch over to my network internet unless I turn my phone on and off.

iphone 4s 6.1.3 problems with 3g In and Outgoing Calls

Hi Everybody!I got a factory unlocked (originally was Vodafon locked) iphone 4s with firmware 6.1.3.When I insert my sim (Hungarian Telenor) when only EDGE is on it founds the signal and seems like everything is working.After a few hours or sometimes even a day passes by a phone stays on full signal with Carrier logo and Edge on, but my friends reporting that they cant call me(like im offline) and i cant make calls either.The interresting stuff is that the Edge connection is fully working during that im offline for my friends via Calls and i can send and recieve imessages and viber messages.When i switch 3g on it disconnects from service drops the EDGE and never finds the way back and stays 'searching' or 'no service' at all.. I thought that its my Carrier's fault so i went to spoke with them and tried 5different micro Sims( cause i wrote that 4s-s are sensitive to SIM card types).. this thing not worked either, Then i tried the phone with a T-mobile SIM card.. it does the same..connects to the services,but with 3g switched on not finding service..so totally like with my sim. Here Comes the bumm... i Tried the phone with vodafone sim and everything works.. simple connectivity to 3g with full internet usage,can make and recieve calls...I spoked with all of the Carriers and also Apple and no body can give me nothing..the phone is off varranty so changed to a new one isnt an option..Anybody? Something? im beginning to give up .. please help if you can..Thanks!!   ps.:i restored over 20times,reset network settings,switch off and on automatic setting time.. every little possible things that people wrote on forums before..

I know that its most likely a hardward issue as stated in the forum. Now here is the problem.  I bought the iphone from a local (philippines) online reseller http://lazada.com.ph.  Lazada would only give the the apple 1-800-1441-0234 number and will not accept any repairs and service.  I would never purchase anything from lazada specially electronics because of how they handled my case. Absolutely no support and repair /service channels for iphones bought from them.  As per lazadas advice, I called the 1800 number and was again adviced to call the local carriers.  I was adviced by the apple chat support to contact my local carriers. Local carriers like smart and globe would only accept repairs and service for iphones bought from them. I visited several local apple reseller stores and they decline to render service because the unit was not bought from them. I cant seem to get technical support and have the iphone checked by an authorized service center. What and where is the proper channel for me to get support and have the unit repaired or replaced? Thank you in advance.

Siri won't play my playlists iphone 5

If I ask to play any of my playlists, for example "Play playlist Mix One"  or "Play playlist Five", Siri plays the first song on the playlist, and any other songs on whoever the first artist's is album, even if it's not ON that playlist!  It's as if it won't play any playlist that has different artists on it.  If I manually go in and select a playlist it works fine, but Siri won't play an entire playlist mix, just one artist.   An internet search was unhelpful.  Any ideas? Kelli

I've my iphone 5 since February 2013.  One day I turned it off and since then I cannot turn it on, I've tried to pushed both the off/on button on the top and the round button on the front at the same time for about 15 seconds  - it's didn't help. I can't turn it on. The solution with  iTunes didn't help as well.  The iphone is dead.I bought the iphone in USA at Apple store in the internet. I live in Israel. What can I do? I understood that in Israel there is no support or service for iphones that didn't bought in Israel.Can I send it with DHL to USA and Apple will fix it or replace it to a working one? iphone 4s Software Update fail from 5.1.1 to 6.1.3

Hey everyone I have been holding back from updating my iOS on my iphone 4s (I know - not a smart move) I am currently still on 5.1.1 and trying to update to 6.1.3 (finally) from the phone itself (not via iTunes) I am trying to downlaod and install the update using Wi-Fi connectivity, but it just wouldn't let me? Kept saying An Error occured while downloading... It didn't give me any error code or any other explanation. It just simply won't update  I know it was silly of me to begin with for not updating for so long, but I don't understand why my phone is rejecting the update? If this is even what is happening..  Also I sent my iMac for repair recently, came back with a Lion (which was what I had on there previously anyway) but it wasn't updated? So I couldn't just open iTunes and restore all my contacts..  AND I am still currently in the process of downloading the updates - but something always happens as well, an error occured that I have to re-download the update, internet drops on and off, etc.  -- The reason I wanted to update was (this is a whole separate problem) my 4s kept crashing the apps, not doing anything out of ordinary - it just crashes everytime i start or a open an app. So I would hard reset my phone (turning it off and on again) and then I would find all my contacts gone. No other entries are gone, just my contact names! All messages and calendar entries are all still there - just no contact names in my address book. ***? After sleuthing here and there, and found no real solution to this problem. I decided to update my iOS because one of the discussion thread I found told me to try that. Heck, why not.  SO I tried uploading and this is where I end up..    Does ANYONE have any idea what the **** is going on? Does anyone else out tehre have the same problem? Surely this is not just me!!

Hi Guys, I have an iphone 4s and a yellow mark appears on my screen whereas my warrantly is expire since February. I go to a Genius Bar and the refuse to take care of my problem. As I saw on internet it's a latent defect (glue problem) but Apple refuse to recognize it. I live in France and the European Union rules said that warrantly should be ended 2 years after the purchase date for latent defect. I'm very disapointed, iphone was pretty expensive and they refuse to recognize their problem. Do you know how can I force Apple to solved my problem ?Thanks for your help,Regards

Who have found solutions to iphone battery draining issues after upgrading iphone to iOS 6.1.2 and 6.1.3 iphone 4S

I have iphone 4S that is UNLOCKED.  I noticed after upgrading to iOS 6.1.2 and 6.1.3 the battery is draining quickly. - I searched thru the Apple forum and internet and followed troubleshooting steps to dissable any settings and applications that might increased the battery usage.  Still after all the troubleshooting, my iphone has battery drain issues. - I called Apple and talked to customer support. The guy did his best effort to solve the problem but the solutions that he provided me I have already done it.  I sent him a system report of my iphone and he told me that the iphone is operating fine. I asked him if there is a way that I can downgrade the iOS 5 and he told me that it is not possible. 1.  Who has the same problem and found a solution?  Please provide the solution?2.  Has someone been able to downgrade to iOS 5?  Please provide steps? Thanks

Hi I purchased iphone5 in December. It was working fine till now (only if we ignore the heating of the device while charging). But then 2 days back i suddenly noticed flickering of the display on my phone's screen . I searched it on the internet and found that there are many people who have been facing this problem and with their discussions it was concluded that it is a software problem. I got a sigh of relief and dint bother about it. But after half an hour i noticed that my dispaly is gone There was a black screen though the functions work fine as i was able to hear the sound of clicks and reciever calls through earphones. I dont know what has happened to my phone suddenly. I tried hard rebooting also but it dint work. Still looking for a solution I am sitting with a phone with no display and cz its nano sim, it is restricting me from using it in any other phone.I dint expect such a problem in Apple atleast :

I dropped my iphone 4 a while ago and the back over smashed. I then replaced it myself with a do-it-yourself package off the internet.  The phone has since developed other issues with reception, signal, and a broken front camera and hold/unlock button. Will Apple replace my iphone for these faults or would they be unable to due to the damage that was previously caused?

Wonder if anyone can help? Today my iphone 4S was working normal and then my phone came up as not having a signal by saying "No Service". i turned it off and back on again then i had a signal "Vodafone 3G". i started to send txt messages and IMessages but these never sent and now all my messages are failing and its not letting me use the internet like facebook and that. I have also tried holding the top button in and the home button in at the same time and rebooting the software. But this still hasnt worked. Now my iphone 4S is only working through Wifi. If i go out of a Wifi zone my phone doesnt let me send messages nor use internet. I can call fine and recieve calls. White screen no lock button iphone 4

I opened Instagram on my iphone 4G this morning and nothing loaded, it's stuck on a blank white screen. I can see the black bar at the top that tells me I'm connected to the internet and the battery, but the rest of the screen is plain white. I have the assistive touch on because the lock button is jammed, and I can still go into its little menu, but when I press the home button (either on the menu or on my actual phone) nothing happens. I've been trying to turn it off but, again, the lock/power button is jammed, and it hasn't been working. I read that you can hold down "lock screen" in the assistive touch menu, but when I do that nothing happens either. I plugged it into the wall and into iTunes on my computer, still nothing.When I leave it idle, it's doesn't turn off. The screen gets dark, but it's still on, I guess it's just the back-light that turns off? My only idea is to wait for the battery to die and then charge it and hope it goes back to normal.

Since Friday, some internet dependent apps will act as if I have no data connection.  Also, I can't visit some websites because of a connection issue, although I can visit other websites.  I never had a problem with apps or websites not working until Friday.  Everything works fine over wifi.  I have tried resetting the phone, resetting network settings.  I have an iphone 5 on AT&T.

Not a single simple answer can seem to be given without being redirected to something that simply does not answer THIS very specific question. Is it, or is it not possible to quickly transfer photos DIRECTLY *FROM* and *INTO* the Camera Roll WITHOUT iTunes or iPhoto? Simple question yes? lol. NOPE. Reason why I ask can be simply described in short: iTunes 11.0.2, running iphone iOS 6.1; Clicking "Photos" from my iphone via iTunes, gives me ONE single option; "Sync photos from". Tried keeping it real simple. Make a folder on the desktop called iphone Photos just for quickly transfering photos back and forth and chose to synch from that. 18 photos to test. Just crap from the internet. Nothing major. Know what it does? For one, it takes 3 minutes or so to sync 18 whole photos, which is stupid but whatever. But here's the BEST part, none get sent to my Camera Roll, oh no, it makes TWO entirely new folders under it in my iphone. One being the one I made on my desktop, and the other is called Photo Library, and get this, BOTH of these have the same 18 pictures lmao. Yup. Why? Oh who cares at this point. I really just do not care. Apple. All that needs to be said. And as for iPhoto. It's just an unnecessary useless program I have no intentions of ever needing. Why? I keep a crap load of various types of photos in organized folders in my Finder, and iPhoto likes making sure it takes 3x longer to do that. It really just does.  Now back on point. What happened to the good old friggin days when all you had to do was DRAG AND DROP?!?!?! I legitimately am getting cancer from pondering this question.  Is there not a way to simply drag from Camera Roll somehow to the iMac, like say a specified folder. And Vice Versa from the iMac straight to Camera Roll? A nice workaround to get FROM Camera Roll TO iMac specified folder is "Image Capture" which does exactly just THAT. Quickly and painlessly transfer STRAIGHT FROM AND TO wherever. This is ridiculous. At this point, I'd pay 50 bucks for a simple app to quickly drag and drop from and to Camera Roll and bam. Done.  Sorry for the book, but this is getting ******** trying to get an answer to this and thought I would deem it necessary to be as descriptive as humanly possible.  Looking for simple answers if possible, but at least descriptive.
