Facebook Push Notifications not working on iphone 4S 6.1.3 and macbook Pro OS X 10.8.3

Hi there! There are troubles with Facebook Push notifications on my two iPhones 4 (iOS 6.1.2) and 4S (iOS6.1.3) and on my macbook Pro 15 (OS X 10.8.3). There are no any push notifications about new messages or "likes" by integrated Facebook App and by Facebook app prom iTunes too. I have notifications in notification center about statuss updates and comments, but sounds there are no at all. Everything in settings are switched on:-Settings/Facebook-Settings/Notifications/Facebook-Facebook/Account Settings/Notifications/Mobile Push I have done anything i can. Signed Out from all apps, deleted Facebook App, swithed off and then swithed on notifications, Signed In again and again. What can i do to solve this problem? I realy need notifications about messages on iOS and OS X.

So a nasty smash destroyed both Front & Back of my iphone 4, and since having them replaced the Wifi signal has been really weak. I have seen other posts about screen replacement having to be done by going through the antenna, so something could be missing, or done incorrectly during the screen repair. Will definately be taking it back to the shop and finding out if It was put back together properly.  In the meantime I was wondering if it is possible to share my macbook Pro's Wifi (always full signal in my house) directly to my iphone either using USB cable or through bluetooth. It's not been too much of a problem but it would be nice to use my iphone in bedroom using the Macbooks good signal.  Note: The replacement front screen on iphone has a small gap >1mm between the screen and centre metal casing on the left side just above the Silent/Loud Switch, which can be noticed by light leaking through the gap. The metal casing also still has a small dent between the volume down buttons and silent/loud switch, again nothing drastic 1mm maximum

Hi All, So I have disbled my iphone 4s by forgetting my passcode (like it seems many other people do!). Also as the phone went dead as I was away for the weekend the SIM is also locked. I have often backed it up to iCloud but I never had the camera roll back up option ticked as I cannot see it when I sign into iCloud. I dont have iTunes on my laptop or access to the original iTunes where it was synced a year and a half ago. My question is can I get the phone unlocked by Apple? ( I have the IMEI number and proof of purchase) Is there any way of keeping or getting my photos/videos and messages? When I had my phone plugged into the laptop and was clicking backup through wifi will this have also backed up my photos? Thanks!

My mom passed me her phone as she couldn't get it to restart.  I got it to charge and restart in recovery mode.  However, I've tried all steps on this and many other forums and it is stuck in "trying to restore".  On the phone, it will blink a white screen, show the apple logo and a progress bar then quickly disappear then on the computer give me error code 9.  I have tried 3 different cords, on both my macbook Air and my iMac.  Same results on both computers.  She purchased a new phone as she couldn't do without, but would love to fix this phone and give to one of my children.  This phone has not been jailbroken.  Any help would be sooooo appreciated!  Not sure what will happen if I try to take this to Apple.

VPN Fire App iphone 3G

Hey all. I've downloaded the app VPN Fife to my iphone 5 from a friends appartment, on their VPN. Works great. So, I want to sync to my macbook pro, thinking it would just transfer over via the sync. It won't, not sure it even sees in on my phone. How do I get this copied over to my iTunes on my laptop. I'd like to sync it to my iPad now too.

Dying iphone 5

I have been having multiple problems with my iphone 5 and ive only had it for 6 months. I have been restoring it to factory settings on a regular basis however it still has been having problems (more and more frequent.      #1 Teathering. I have been having trouble teathering off of my phone. (i tried several devices to rule my macbook out of the troubleshooting, nothing works) No device picks up my wifi or bluetooth personal hotspot. My macbook does not even recognize my USB connection in network settings.      #2 My wifi on the phone is also a hassle. It has been becoming more and more intermittant, but rarely works. I have tried multiple networks with the same result.      #3 My phone has become generally slow especially for safari and mail. On wifi, they dont work at all. on 3G, and LTE, the phone has also become very slow and often won't load at all. As stated above, restoring used do fix everything but that fix has become very short term, and often hasn't been working at all. Can someone help me?

Major iphone 5 issues Help

I've had my iphone since release date. Everything has been working great up until about a week ago. The phone has an amazing battery life, I guess an update fixed that for me. But now my iphone will reset itself out of no where 3-4 times a day at random times. The keyboard will get stuck on the screen after entering something and clicking done. Also the iphone will freeze (I've tried leaving it for as long as a half an hour) and be totally unresponsive. I usually have to use the sleep/wake button in combination with the home button just to reset the phone so it works. It also randomly drops and won't connect to my home wifi at all, I also have a iMac, macbook Pro, iPad mini, iPad 3, iphone 3, 3GS, 4, 4S and all of these work flawless with zero problems on my wifi network. My warranty is out in September, but I'm worried about going to an apple genius and having them ask me to re create the problem. What if it doesn't happen at that time? What can I do?

How I sync apps from same iTunes account to an iphone 3G and an iphone 4S and keep correct version for each iOS

I have an old 3G as well as a 4S. Initially I set up a separate iTunes account for the 4S as I was worried I'd lose my old apps for 3G (as older, compatible versions aren't kept in the iTunes store so once they're gone, they're gone...). 3G is set up to sync with iTunes, 4S is inly syncing mail and conatcts through Exchange but hasn't been synced with an iTunes library for the reason above. Is there a way to sync both phones off the same iTunes account, so I can set up each phone with some music, as well as apps, without iOS 5 versions overwriting the exisitng apps for the 3G? To complicate things further, I don't want to sync photos, contacts, messages, etc. I just want to avoid having to duplicate all my music and pay for all the apps all over again. Recover data from water damaged phone-Its in DFU mode iphone 5

I got my phone wet but more importantly i need the data from it (mainly the videos i took). Iv recovered files from a Itunes Data Back Up but i need to access the files that are on my phone that werent saved or synced to my PC. Iv tried wondershare and other 3rd party programmes but they all wont detect my phone because its not on. When i plug my phone into itunes it saids it needs to be 'restored' for it to be used. if i do this i will lost all the data thats on the phone. is there anyway i can access the hard drive of the phone and by pass the DFU mode. Apple said they will give me a new 64 gb factory refurbished iphone if i send my phone back to them and give them 300NZD. however, if i take the phone apart that will void the warranty. anyone?

iphone 4 has very short WiFi range

I have an 8Gb iphone 4 that I bought new in December.  Two days ago, it stopped connecting to my home WiFi network unless it is really close to my router, and it won't connect to my university's WiFi network either.  When I go to Settings -> WiFi, it shows that no networks are in range.  It connects to my home router when I take it within four feet of the router, but when I walk to a different room it disconnects and goes back to 3G; I haven't found a router at school to try this with yet.  My phone has auto-connected to both my home and school networks for months now.  I know the problem is with the phone, because my macbook Pro connects to both networks without any trouble. I've tried turning my phone's WiFi off and on, turning my phone off and on, and turning the WiFi off, then turning the phone off, then turning both back on to no avail.  Any help is appreciated.

imessage works for macbook but not iphone iphone 5

Hi,I have an iphone 5 and macbook Pro 13" Retina. I "imessage" from both, and it worked smoothly before but now I am starting to have some problems.. First of all, on my macbook, I can imessage people easily, but whenever I send it from my laptop, it does not sync to my phone.  When i try to send a imessage from my phone, it says delivered, but the person on the other line sends back their answer in regular "text" form for EVERY one of their replies . It has been happening for a couple of days now and it is getting really annoying... Any ideas? Thanks!

Question on unlock process for iphone 4

Hello, I have completed my 2-year contract agreement with AT&T and received the instructions for unlocking my iphone 4. My question: My iphone is synced. Now I should do a full backup and restore of the iphone via iTunes, but will this (1) keep all my current apps and (2) affect my current settings, specifically will I need to re-adjust all my individual notifications (alert style, badge app icon, sounds, view in lock screen)? This would be a tremendous chore for me as I currently have 176 applications on my mobile. I appreciate your help with the answer to this. Thank you  Regards, Chuck

I had my iphone 5 stolen recently

My phone was about to die before it was stolen and now it is dead so I cant call it. I am not sure if I had the ICloud set up or not. I tried to set it up but I don't know if it was completly set up. I have synced my phone into my PC computer before to download pictures. I have my ITunes account set up for my phone on my computer. I don't know how to see if I can use ICloud or the Find My Phone app. If my ICloud wasn't set up is there anything I can do to set it up, find my phone, or restore the pictures from it. I have a lot of pictures on there of my son and I really don't want to lose them. If there is no way to find my phone I have insurance for it but I really want to get my pictures back. If you know any way to help me I would really appreciate it. Thanks

I am running out of usage space. How do I increase the total amount of space I have on my iPhone4S: for things like programs & apps such as, iTunes & more music & like MusicTube & YouTube. The only reason I have any space now is because the music that I had downloaded and synced onto my phone from iTunes I had to take it all off. Apps updates aren't synced anymore from iTunes (on iMac 27") to both iphone 4 and iPad 2 Wifi.Mac OSX 10.6.8 Snow Leopard.iTunes 11.0.2 (25)IOS 6.1.3 on both iphone and iPad.The devices are recognized. Everything syncs except apps updates. I have to apply them directly on the devices under Wifi.

iOS 6.1.3 update deleted my macbook Pro calendars iphone 4S

While syncing my iphone 4S to iTunes yesterday, I received and downloaded the iOS 6.1.3 update for iphone (connecting to my macbook Pro).  After the sync, I pulled up my calendars on macbook and discovered they had suddenly been completely wiped out.  My iphone and iPad still have the current calendars, as does iCloud, but the macbook information has been completely deleted.  Now I will not sync my devices to the Mac for fear their calendars will also be deleted.  I've searched both iCloud and my Mac, but I can't figure out how to sync or export the calendars from iCloud back to my laptop. My macbook Pro runs on OS X 10.8.3.  For the many years I have used iCal, this has never happened before.  Any suggestions?  Thanks so much!

iphone 4 randomly losing contacts

Hey everyone, I have an iphone 4 and over the past few weeks it has just randomly been losing my contacts.  I have them all backed up in my computer, but it is still annoying and worrisome.  I don't have iCloud syncing turned on, nor does it happen after I have synced or anything.  It will just happen in the middle of the day while it is sitting on my desk.  I'll look over to answer a text or something and notice all my contacts gone and my texts and phone calls are just listed by numbers.  It has only been happening recently.  I have 1.6 GB of space left (of a 16 GB iphone 4) so I don't think it is a space issue, but what do I know?  Could it be deleting my contacts because its out of room?  I'm totally at a loss.  Geez.  Any help?

Large file transfer from iphone 4S to macbook Pro

Hello,  I have a video that's nearly 10 gigs on my iphone 4S that I can't get on to my macbook Pro.  I've taken a few videos that are around three to six minutes and haven't had any issues.  I get a message telling me, "Error Downloading Image, iPhoto can not import your photos because there was a problem downloading one of your images." I'm stumped.  I really don't want to delete and lose this video, but I can't be having a 10 gig video on my iphone forever.  Can anyone help? Thanks!

As I read in some other communities this is not the first time. I think your are moving into the wrong direction with your time to market strategy. The most important thing is the end user nothing else. What's about a feature for iTunes were I can set these options and then they synced and included in a backup?! iTunes library to iphone

Is there anyway you can 'transfer' the songs in your iTunes library to your iphone without having to connect the iphone to your macbook? I don't see how I can use iCloud to do so, and I believe iTunes Match(?) is the only option, yet it must be paid for.   Reason I ask: I think my Port is defected and I already have problems charging my iphone 4S. 1.) To charge in the Car: I first must turn off my iphone, then connect it to the car charger. the iphone will turn on as usual, and will charge while On.  2.) To charge in the House: I must connect the iphone to the cord/charger that's already plugged in the wall outlet, then turn the iphone off; it will ONLY charge while off.3.) iphone will not connect, nor be recognized when plugged into macbook.  I'm unsure what the issue is with that.. some say it's the battery, I haven't came across any discussions mentioning a defected port. unfortunately, there is not an Apple Care location in my area!  however in the meantime, is there ANYWAY I could get my iTunes Library music from my macbook to my iphone without having to connect them both?
