iphone battery is on 41% after 1 hour and 31 minutes usage, and 1 hour and 29 minutes standby. I've followed all of the battery saving tips, my wifi, bluetooth, mail, siri, push notifications are off. My brightness is down, it's not a hardware problem as its been tested.

iphone 5 won't record sound during video capture
Hi there. My iphone 5 has been working perfectly for about 5 months then about a month ago I noticed that my camera was just recording a hissing sound (nothing else) during video capture. voice memos record and play perfectly and everything else works as it should The strange thing is that if I insert my earphones then the camera will record sound even from far away but when I take them out again it just records a hissing sound. I've tried plugging the earphones in and out, hard reset, and restoring but I still have the same issue.surely the voice memo and camera use the same microphone? The only thing that seems to be wrong is that the phone camera records no sound without earphones plugged in Please somebody tell me there's an easy fix as we have no apple stores here so I would need to ship it off to be repaired if the need be.
Will Apple replace my iphone 5 with loud and intermittently working home button
My iphone 5 is less than three months old and is suffering from a home button that clicks very loudly and sometimes stops working intermittently. This is obviously something that I can't reproduce on command. Is there any way that Apple will replace the home button or the iphone for me if I explain the scenario?

Hi, I am new to this forum so i apologise in advance for not following any rules thats set. I have a iphone 5, 16 GB for 6 months and for the past month or so i've been having issues with the microphone. 1. During a call if i want to use loudspeaker the mic cuts out so the person on the other end can not hear what i am saying, yet while during a call off loudspeaker they can hear me fine. 2. Siri can not detect anything i say or any noise what so ever when i try to use siri, but can when using a headset. 3. When trying to use voice to text in messages no speech is detected. When using a headset under all three of these, they work fine, calling someone works fine aslong as i don't use loudspeaker.i have tried to restore the phone to see if this corrects the problems but no luck. The firmware version is 6.1.4, on EE 4G. Any help with this is appriciated. Tyler.

Hello! I live in Russia and love Apple very much, have many different products and never had any problems with them. And now I decided to buy a new iphone 5 and wasn't lucky. I bought it on 3.05.2013 in normal shop, then turned out that wi-fi and bluetooth are not working and the phone eats battery very fast. Shop doesn't want take it back, official services don't want to repair it for free, because it was made for USA. I really don't know what to do:( To buy android? iphone 5 Rear Microphone
Hello, There appears to be an issue with my iphone 5's rear camera microphone. When recording video it causes white noise and I can barely hear any audio at all. To diagnose the fault I phoned myself and put music on. I could hear the music fine without loudspeaker, I then switched on loudspeaker while the screen was facing upwards (to test the front facing mic) and it was fine, once I turned the phone upside down, the audio cut out. To ensure that my desk wasn't just blocking my front facing mic, I switched loudspeaker off and then turned it back to face up, then again to face down and then switched loudspeaker back on. Unfortunately it confirmed that was the fault. I have recorded voice memos and front facing videos with no issue, but when using the rear camera I still have the same fault. I have cleaned out the small opening for the mic and haven't caused my phone any damage, so I can't understand why this would happen? Has anyone else had this issue? Will I have to have my entire phone replaced, the whole rear camera or just the microphone? Are there any fixes I can perform myself? Thanks,Ross

iphone 5 not ringing or alerting of texts calls going to voice mail
My iphone 5 recently started having problems with the ringer. The ringer will be turned all the way up, the mute button is NOT being used and the phone will not ring for calls or alert for texts. It is not always happening, but more so than not. I have tried rebooting the phone, the OIS is up to date and I do not have the "Do Not Disturb" set. I can be in the same spot with LTE and full signal have a call/text that is missed then receive a call/text and it rings. Does not seem to matter if the call is coming from a land line, same Verizon carrier cell or different carrier cell there is no noticable reason. Any ideas???

The thing is that i've been trying to use my iphone 4S as master transmiter of GPS signals and accelerometer data for my ipad mini to use an app called air navigation pro, the deal is that when i try to pair my devices vía bluetooth they just seem not to recognize each other, the only way i can get them to work is by using personal hotspot or share internet option vía bluetooth, but thats the only way.I've heard theres a bug related to that, that our friends in cupertino just ignored when they updated IOS, Anyone can help me?, does Anyone has Any info about this, or maybe a solution.By the way since this may be due to my IOS instaled in my iphone my devices are:-Ipad mini wifi only IOS 6.1.3-iphone 4s IOS 6.1.3Thanks in advance for Any info proportioned

So a nasty smash destroyed both Front & Back of my iphone 4, and since having them replaced the Wifi signal has been really weak. I have seen other posts about screen replacement having to be done by going through the antenna, so something could be missing, or done incorrectly during the screen repair. Will definately be taking it back to the shop and finding out if It was put back together properly. In the meantime I was wondering if it is possible to share my Macbook Pro's Wifi (always full signal in my house) directly to my iphone either using USB cable or through bluetooth. It's not been too much of a problem but it would be nice to use my iphone in bedroom using the Macbooks good signal. Note: The replacement front screen on iphone has a small gap >1mm between the screen and centre metal casing on the left side just above the Silent/Loud Switch, which can be noticed by light leaking through the gap. The metal casing also still has a small dent between the volume down buttons and silent/loud switch, again nothing drastic 1mm maximum

I attempted to get the phone replaced by AT&T since it is within their 14-day Return/Exchange policy, but of course they denied me based on it being a "technical" issue and therefore a problem I need to take up with Apple. I recently upgraded from 4s to 5. I'm experiencing issues with the bluetooth transmission/receive range. When I'm running with the iphone on my arm my wireless headset quite often drops the connection. Same problem when I'm using bluetooth with My car. I can't have the phone in My pocket while driving, I must put it between My seats, otherwhise the connection drops. Had no problem like this with My 4 or 4s, so I convinced it's something with iphone 5. Anyone else? Is it a hardware or software issue?

I dropped it in water.. for the third time. The speakers do work, when i activate siri it works and registers my voice, and earphones work aswell. Sometimes the volume slider will show up, but goes away in seconds. I restored phone, riced it overnight, used credit card to try and clean out the ports and q-tip in headphone jack. What else is there to do to fix this?!
iphone 4 gets very hot
Hello everyone. I have an iphone 4 16gb with iOS 6.1.3, so yesterday i was using it normally, put it back in my pocket with 36% battery. After 1 hour or so i pick it up again and I had a nasty surprise the phone was very hot and battery drained down to 15%, i didn't have 3G, wifi, bluetooth, locations or other stuff or apps running, the phone was in standby. I get home and try to do a restore and i got another surprise, while it was connected to the PC instead of recharging it the battery went down and the phone shut off. Managed to restore it eventually, it stopped heating in standby but whenever i am at the menu doing nothing again with no apps or other stuff turned on it starts to get hot in the upper right part, people say it's the CPU..i don't know what to think anymore, last time it did this a restore solved it but not this time..any ideas?

This has been going on for a while now. It did have some sort of hot and cold phase. E.g. one day the speaker for Siri works then the next it doesn't. But now it doesn't work completely. It's been really bugging me. I've been hearing a lot of rumours that the iphone 5 has had loads of technical problems. Such as, delivered broken and certain other things that do not work. Knowing if this is true, I do not know. However, the iphone still works when I am on the phone to people. People have suggested to me to restore my phone to factory settings. I have backed it up onto my PC, then did a full restore, then restored my backup. Still, did not work. If anyone has any suggestions on what I should do, please could you let me know. My phone volume is very low only for calls. I use the Voxer walkie talkie app and the ear piece volume is loud, but as soon as I make a call or listen to a voice mail, the volume is near mute as max volume. Any solutions?!

The iphone has never supported bluetooth file transfer. This is a known fact. Issues after 6.1.4 update iphone 5
IS anyone else having issues after the 6.1.4 update? Here is what I have experienced in the last two days. 1- Unable to access a locked or secure network. It asks for password initially. When entered, it is unable to connect. I restart and then go to Settings, find the network and click. I never get a prompt for the password, just "Unable to Connect" 2-bluetooth. I can after a few attempts to connect my bluetooth headphones, only after I get a "Failed attempt" a few times. Then only music works, unable to make phone calls. This happens with two different products. A SENA SMH 10R and LG HBS 700. 3- Music play - I found this issue out when trying to figure out problem with bluetooth. I can start to play a song fine, but if I click on the ">>" or "<< " it freaks the player out and then skips multiple songs or stops play and goes back to the playlist. At first it was doing this with the bluetooth headphones when using it to make selections. So I deleted the devices and the iphone continued to do it when selecting functions on the screen. Some playlists did it and some don't. Creating a new playlist did not help. Additional Info.Apple Store replaced my iphone on Saturday 5.4.13 because if antina issues. The issues above came after I restored from backup and updated the OS. I have erased the phone 2 times since getting the new phone and restored from back up and rebuilt from Itunes and neither way makes a difference above. What is going ON? I have an iphone 5... I cannot make calls or receive calls. I reset network settings and I have reset the SIMS card and I am still having the same problem. My husband is on the same cell service as I am and he is not having any problems. When I try to make a call - it goes directly to call ended - when people try to call me it goes directly to my voice mail. on the left hand side at the top all it says is seraching - my wifi is connected... i also keep getting NO Service.. Battery life-iphone 4
Well I tried turning off the bluetooth, turning off WIFI, turning off location services, and all Push activity. After all of this my battery lasts about 8 hours. I guess I could keep the phone powered off but I think that kind of defeats the purpose of owning the phone. Any studies on the lifespan of an iphone 4 battery? My applecare warranty runs out in a few months.
Turn off everything except GPS iphone 5
I have a CDMA iphone (Verizon), and I frequently hike using an app that tracks my route with GPS. However, the battery drains completely in 3-4 hours partly because the phone is looking for a cellular network. I tried turning on Airplane Mode, but that also disables the GPS. Of course, I have turned off cellular data and bluetooth, but the phone keeps looking for a cellular (voice) network. I have checked forums and people with GSM phones simply remove the SIM card, but I can't do that since I have a Verizon phone. Is there any way to turn off the battery-draining search for a cellular network when I am in remote areas?

Don´t buy a iphone 5 It simply don´´t work stabil in the bluetooth word. I can sometimes, and sometimes not connect to me Ipad 2 and PC. turn of and on, sometime i works some time i don´t work. I am waiting and Waiting because it is so slow to connect. I am very disappointed by having buying one of the perhaps the most expensive phone om market.But I can not use it in my proffessionel work life. Other phones do not have these problems.
Distortion when playing back audio left and right channels. iphone 4S
Recently, my iphone 4s has been producing distortion in the right channel when playing back music and/or making VOIP calls. It is now starting on the left channel as well. Making cellular calls is fine (no distortion). Playing music through the doc connector is fine. Playing music through bluetooth is fine. Have I fried my onboard DSP for the onboard audio output devices? When I record video, audio is unbearably distorted.

My iphone 5 has been connected succesfully via bluetooth to my car for the past 5 months (Ford Fiesta). Yesterday I went to use it and it wont connect, I powered off the phone, turned bluetooth on/off still not working. I debonded all phones from the car and went to start afresh but that wont work either. When it is searching for devices it just seems to be stuck? I tried another iphone 5 in my car and that connected no problems at all. Anyone have any ideas, it clearly must be the phone but wonder what on earth I have done.
