Remote viewing andor controlling an iDevice screen iPhone 3G

Hello folks,  I am in a bit of a pickle! Short of you know what (have to keep the censors off me), is there any possibly way to remote view an iDevice screen on a Windows based computer? I am a eLearning/instructional designer and I have been tasked with creating eLearning courses on how to use our iDevice apps. But my dilemma is, how the heck do I capture the screens? Yes, I know about power/home but that isn't nearly practical, especially for capturing motion. I thought I could do it with the remarkable Teamviewer app but after speaking with their development team, it turns out that this has been an outstanding request to Apple. For quite some time, they have been requesting their customers ask Apple via feature request. It seems obvious that their must be a way because I have seen Apple iPhone instructional videos in the past. Or is this the exclusive domain of a Mac with AirPlay? Thank you BTW, I specifically (at this time) need to remote view an iPhone 5 screen... therefore, an ipad only solution will not work.

iphone app updates frozen in waiting-what to try next

Hi, I tried to update 3 apps on iPhone 5 about a week ago. They got 'stuck' while updating, and now are permanently frozen showing a greyed out icon, and saying the status as 'installing.'  I have tried everything and need more suggestions.This is what I have tried:Restoring - no changeLogging off iTunes account, pressing home and lock button til apple icon appears, then logging back in - this changes the status to 'waiting' but it's still frozenHolding down icon to delete - it doesn't have cross above these 3 affected appsGone into -> General -> Usage -> then selected each affected app and Deleted them - no changePlugged into PC and synced, then tried removing apps and installing again - the icons aren't removed when I remove, but when I install them again, it does kickstart the icon to change to 'loading', but then it returns to 'installing' and is still frozenAdding a new app/ installing updates for other apps to check to see if iTunes account works - yes they added/ updated fineCalling Apple tech support. The guy was really nice and helpful, but his advice didn't work (as above.)  He told me to contact the iTunes account support, and ask them to delete the apps from my purchase history and then try re-installing themContacting the ITunes account support - they emailed me back, and advised me that they checked my download queue and "updates of these three apps are not there." (?) So they gave me the advice to do as above. He also sent me to this link: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1702 which at the last step says "If you continue to experience the issue, contact the developer of the application for further assistance."  Now, my issue is: How the heck do I contact the developer, and will this help, when it seems to clearly be an iPhone problem? Should I give up and take the phone into an Apple store? Any other suggestions will help.  Cheers.

Iphone 5 unlocked Amazon Very Problem

Good night;guys, I have a problem and would like some help:I bought it on Amazon, 1 Iphone 5 Unlocked, factory unlocked. The device functioned normally and after an update, it did not take over my chip and says the device is locked (is asking to put a valid chip). After several attempts, I got in touch with the Apple of my country (Brazil), and to my surprise, the search for the serial device, they reported that the device is locked by Sprint and manufactures do not accept support or exchange (The unit has 1 month bought with full price in amazon), telling me to settle with Amazon. I insisted informing them that the unit was purchased unlocked and they also reported that this device is aimed at the European market, it works with CDMA and GSM and Apple Brazil suporPelas just the research I have done and talking to some people, I passed the information that Sprint can easily inform this code (or Imei) not sure which unlocks the device again, but have no information on how to get or do that. I contacted Amazon stating what happened and I'm waiting for a position within it, is to send the code or return the handset. My model is the A1429. iphone 4 randomly freezes-what hardware to swap

Good Afternoon, ive recently started up my own business fixing mobile phones - mostly cracked screens and chassis replacements. Just recently i thought id got a bargain on ebay regarding an iphone 4. It was described as working correctly, can make / receive calls and send texts etc but randomly locks up. Ive got the phone today, unfortunately its locked to the 3 network so ive got a micro sim on the way so I cant actually proceed further at this point.  Although it did crash once on me when i tried to select language's etc - had to hold the home and power button down until it turned off. Ive read on the forums that this is a common fault, and can occur to any iphone - faulty or otherwise.  And the main concensus seems to be to take it back to the store for a swap. My main question is - seeing how im likely to come across this fault again - is the fault software or hardware related? If its hardware related what circuit board is likely to be the culprit?  If we could identify the problem then im sure I could just order the required part on ebay. The fact that apple havent recalled the iphone and that they will accept these faulty iphone's back and swap for new suggests to me its an easy fix - its just easier for the technicians to go in the store room and get a brand new one. Secondly ive just got another iphone 4 white - bought cheap as its totally dead.  Tried a new battery and still nothing.  Got a new dock / charging connector on the way - is it likely to be this at fault?  Doesnt seem to be any sign of water damage, and it wasnt described as this on the ebay page. When id swapped the new battery over i tried to charge the phone ( to see if id fixed it ) and it got extremely hot - so i disconnected right away and left it to cool off. Whats likely to be the issue with that one? Thanks, and hope someone can help Adam

iPhone 5 says its connected to home Wifi but can't use it

Last week or so, my iPhone 5 stopped connecting to my home WiFi. It "sees" the network, and either gets stuck in an endless grey dot loading circle or it even says it is joined. But it still is using Cellular for some reason. My home computer is connecting fine to the WiFi. I have an AirPort base connected to a router provided by Cablevision. I've tried restarting everything - airport, router, -- and have restarted network settings. Nothing works. Any ideas would be much appreciated!

Can I trade in my 4s with Apple Care

Lately I've been having probelms with my iPhone 4s. I bought it in July of last year. The problems include: my lock button is jambed, the phone thinks that I have headphones in when I don't, and applications such as Camera and safari constantly crash. The screen also does not always respond when I touch it and it does not ring or vibrate when I recieve calls sometimes (I did check to see if my ringer was on, along with vibrating in Sounds under Settings). I have Apple Care+. Can I trade it in for a refurbished phone? Also, for an extra fee would I be able to trade it in for a refurbished iPhone 5?

WiFi iPhone 4

Ok so here's the deal.  At work I barely get one bar on our wireless network, but at home I of course have full signal.  At work I turn off the wifi because at that weak of a signal, it takes forever to send email or a picture on my phone. So I switch to the cellular network, and bam it goes fast.   But then when I get home I want it on the WiFi and keep forgetting to turn it on.  So my question is (without Jailbreaking) hasn't someone come up with an app that will set timers for wifi to turn on and off?  That seems like one that should have been out in the first year of Apps?

Im having issues charging my iPhone 4S. First noticed it this week on my car charger and assumed the charger broke as I was able to charge at home. I then used my home charger and I noticed that it wasnt charging both my phone nor my new ipad. Is this an issue with the charger or phones?

Having Paid about £20 for an official unlocking, I am being told to insert a Non-Orange 3G Sim card into the phone that is to be unlocked (Orange is the network the iPhone iscurrently locked to).  Well I don't have a Non-Orange 3G Sim Card do I !! Iphone 5 charging but not syncing with Itunes

Have searched thru the posts and have done practically everything I could find and suggusted (inlcuding upgrading, a full reinstall of itunes and a simple reset of iphone (vs a restore which I cannot do as phone doesnt show in devices)  . .but still no go . .  This is also happening with my wife's iphone 5 so this is not personal to my phone. Please Help!!

organize apps in itunes iPhone 3G

When I sync my iphone 4s or my ipad in itunes with the lates upgrade in itunes I don't see how I can organize my apps, to move them from one screen to the other.  I've looked all over itunes as the device is syncing and I see nothing, use to be on the right side and you could drag from one area to the other.  Anyone know?

My iPhone 5 freezes EVERY time I try to open contact or addedit contact and freezes up pretty much on everything I .

My iPhone 5 operates at about the speed of dial-up internet.  Every time I try to do something I have to wait. My harddrive is not even close to being full and I always close out of my programs so I am confused.  It is mainly a problem with contacts (adding, editing, viewing, anything). I also occasionally hardware reset (power and home button same time) to try and help but to no avail. Is this an Apple issue that a trip to the Apple Store will take care of?  I am just sick and tired of having upgraded to an iphone 5 only to step backwards in speed and performance, plus switching over deleted over half of my contacts even though I had icloud set up on my 4 and also on my 5 so it should have been seamless.  Is my phone a lemon?

Backup Issues Deleting Other Files iPhone 4S

I recently replaced my iphone screen and afterwards I discovered that my camera roll had crashed. With it, I lost all of my pictures and videos. Luckily, I recovered them from a program that I had downloaded. However, the storage that used to take up my photos and videos on my phone had transfered to the "other" section on itunes. Is the only way to remove/decrease the storage of the "other" file by restoring your iphone? I don't want to restore my iphone because I am also having issues with backing up my phone. Whenever I try to back it up on itunes, it says "the backup was corrupt or not compatable with the iphone". My phone has never been backed up because of this issue, so if I were to restore my phone then all off my files would be deleted. I have tried reseting my phone, but the "other" section is unchanged. Is there anyway I can delete the corrupt files on my phone? I have tried removing all pictures, videos, apps, and music in an attempt to discover the source of the corrupt files but I haven't found them. Also, if I was to "restore backup" with my iphone from my ipad, would that mean losing my messages? 

Iphone 4 on t-mobile full signal but wont makereceive calls

Please help - My iphone 4 intermittently stops making and receiving calls/texts without warning, the phone will have a full signal and could be anywhere in the country but when you try to make a call it won't do it. If you then ring the phone it is as if it is turned off, if you then turn the phone off then on again it works perfectly well until the next time which might be in days or hours. T -Mobile talked me through a reset but this has not worked and Apple want a fee to help further as the phone is 22 months old, it is however little used and still looks new. Any help appreciated

Dropped iPhone 4 in to toilet but hear me out

I dropped my phone into the toilet. I got it out as quickly as possible, but it did get submerged. When I got it out, the screen turned on by itself, but I didn't think much of it, and I stuck it in rice for a few hours. When I went to check on it, it seemed fine, as the screen turned on and all the buttons seemed to be working, other than being slightly laggy. The volume buttons worked, but the didn't seem to do anything to the volume. The speakers worked as well, and even the vibrating part did. the lagging didn't get any better though, so I decided to see if reseting it would work. It turned off fine, and the apple symbol came up, but that was where it stopped, and it now will not turn on. I checked the LCI in the headphone jack and the charging slot, and the one in the headphone jack has a tiny pinkish-red dot, and the one in the charging slot doesn't look red at all. I stuck it back into the rice just in case. Can anybody help with my situation?Just some info, up until I put my phone into the rice the first time, I was mostly in full panic mode, and even after I put it in the rice, I kept checking to see if it worked by pressing the sleep button. I'm pretty sure I did everything I'm not supposed to do, but what can I say?

Water Damage iPhone 4S

On May 18, 2013: Yesterday my cousin and I tipped our canoe while on a river. We had our electronics in a ziploc bag which included my iPhone 4S. We managed to save almost everything including the ziploc bag. We were stuck floating down the fast moving rapids for atleast 30 minutes keeping firm grip on everything. Once our fellow canoe group caught up with us we put everything in their canoe and made a pit stop. There we put the electronics out to dry (only a little bit of water got it). I managed to send one quick text out and tried hard to shut off the phone but it kept rebooting. When we got back to my grandma's house I investigated the iPhone. It was on and working BUT the flash was stuck on and the power button didn't always work, water behind the lower part of the screen  I tried hard to turn it off but it just kept rebooting. With no rice I just layed it out in the sun for an hour.  About 2 hours later we rushed to the mall and went to the Apple Store. They checked the status of the warranty and it just expired 5 days ago. Ugh.. So they just told us there was little they can do and they will replace it for $200.00. At this point I didn't want to give up. At the Apple Store the iPhone was having such a melt down. The Apple employee struggled to keep it on as it kept turning itself off (power button issue). Everything else was functional besides the back camera full of water vapour and LED light. About 3 hours after that I got home I put the phone in rice. I noticed the phone some how got into recovery mode.  Over night and about 24 hours later I took the phone out of the rice plugged into iTunes on my iMac. It was just on recovery mode asking me to recover it on iTunes. It wouldn't work because it kept going into UNKNOWN ERROR 2001 and UNKNOWN ERROR 2006. I read somewhere a fix can be putting it from recovery mode into DFU mode. But remember the power button isn't still working so it is impossible to go into that mode. I think I got it once but still had the same errors. I am not ready to give up. I know there is no such thing as minor water damage but it really does seem minor because everything was functional just the phone put itself into recovery mode with a messed up power button.  I'm asking what I should do now. I really don't want to spend $200 for another iPhone 4S when the next generation iPhone will come at what ever time. It seems pointless getting an old phone than a new one. I just want to be able to use this one until then. Thanks for reading my rants. Brady

My built in apps have disappeared how can person reinstall safari Siri or App Store on an iphone 4S

I have lost my built in apps and do not know how to reinstall them on my phone.  The safari and App Store icons are gone.  I can no longer surf the net on my phone and the little "microphone" key has also disappeared when I send text messages etc.  I now have to actually type the message instead of speaking into my phone.  Siri has also vanished.  Any advice?

YouTube not available iPhone 3G

Take your time to write a thoughtful comment on a video, hit send, and it's gone, "youtube is not available". It happens frequently on the iphone app yet never happens on the desktop site. This bug has followed the youtube app across multiple phones (OG & 3G), multiple OS updates, and still happens randomly. Not having a feature is better than one that frequently doesn't work, and frustrates, as well as wastes your time...I'm so ready to checkout the latest from HTC  I copied this question from an archived thread from 2009. I'm having the same issue. I comment on YouTube a couple of times and it's fine, the third time it completely blocks me. It's very frustrating. Looking at the replies from 4 years ago it seems that its definitely the app that has the issue, not the main website. Something to do with capture was the solution last time. Why do I have this issue now, does anyone else have this problem?ipad 3' iphone4sPlease sort it out, it's getting hard to defend iPhone these days!

Canadian iPhone 5 in UK

Hello, I bought an iPhone 5 from the Canadian Apple store a few months back. I have just got back to the UK and inserted my UK sim card. I'm on Giff Gaff (O2) I can still make and recieve calls and texts. But most of my apps aren't working. Nor are any of my browsers. iMessage still works over 3G so i dont understand why my apps and safari arent sending or redceiveing data. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks in advance, Tom

IPhone 5 Auto Brightness Switch Not Working

So I just upgraded my iPhone 4 to an iPhone 5 literally yesterday. Strange lil bugs I get, but... This is just freaking me out.  The phone had NO charge whatsoever when I opened it yesterday and tried to turn it on. Usually I get an iPhone and its at almost full charge. Then the Brightness was already dimmed to almost nothing rather than being in the middle. I adjust the slider to light it up more and then hit the switch for Auto-Adjust Brightness... Nothing changed. At all. There's no brightness difference whether I have Auto-Adjust set to On or Off, and it's kinda hurting my eyes. Pleeeease tell me I didn't get sold a Refurbished iPhone 5 as a New one at the Apple Store?!

Apps showing on iTunes but not on iPhone

Hi,I've got an iPhone4 and when I sync it with iTunes it shows that I have 3 pages of apps but my iPhone is only showing 2 pages of apps. How can I get to see the 3rd page? My iPhone is operating on the latest update as is my iTunes.Any help greatly appreciated, many thanks.Lisa

apps all gone iPhone 3G

I have an iPhone 3g and my wifi wasn't working at all! The wifi button wasn't working like I couldn't press it at all, so my brother told me to erase my iPhone. I backed it up and erased my iPhone, it didn't work so he told me to jailbreak it because he thought maybe since my iPhone was originally jailbroken it might just need it to be jailbroken again. I did that and when I looked at it again ALL apps were gone! There were no settings, safari, or app store nothing, it was just a blank page! (A blank page with, oddly enough, my same wallpaper still) When I tried to search up things on the iPhone it was found, but it said it was not loaded at all. Help anyone??

iPhone 4 not charging up-this common problem

My iPhone 4 isn't charging and I wondered if it is a common problem, it's only a year old as I bought it from the Apple Store in New York.  I've tried different leads incase it's a problem with that but they work on my ipad....help what do I do?

iPhone 5 not ringing or alerting of texts calls going to voice mail

My iPhone 5 recently started having problems with the ringer.  The ringer will be turned all the way up, the mute button is NOT being used and the phone will not ring for calls or alert for texts.  It is not always happening, but more so than not.  I have tried rebooting the phone, the OIS is up to date and I do not have the "Do Not Disturb" set.  I can be in the same spot with LTE and full signal have a call/text that is missed then receive a call/text and it rings.  Does not seem to matter if the call is coming from a land line, same Verizon carrier cell or different carrier cell there is no noticable reason.  Any ideas???

iPhone 4S bluetooth issue

The thing is that i've been trying to use my iPhone 4S as master transmiter of GPS signals and accelerometer data for my ipad mini to use an app called air navigation pro, the deal is that when i try to pair my devices vía bluetooth they just seem not to recognize each other, the only way i can get them to work is by using personal hotspot or share internet option vía bluetooth, but thats the only way.I've heard theres a bug related to that, that our friends in cupertino just ignored when they updated IOS, Anyone can help me?, does Anyone has Any info about this, or maybe a solution.By the way since this may be due to my IOS instaled in my iPhone my devices are:-ipad mini wifi only IOS 6.1.3-iPhone 4s IOS 6.1.3Thanks in advance for Any info proportioned

iPhone 5-Performance drop after upgrading to IOS 6.1.4

Hi All, I just upgraded my iphone 5 to IOS 6.1.4. Afterwhich i realize the performance motion of sliding from page to page, app opening and minimizing... seems to have dropped. Did anyone experience the same effect? I wish to revert back to 6.1.3, any guide on how to achieve this without losing any data or app installed?  Appreciate any help. Thanks.

I was reading my Facebook page when the screen just went out all of a sudden. It still seems to respond to touch and Siri works but the screen is dark. What's up with that?

iPhone images won t restore after phone reset

Hi, I am hoping someone can help me as my wife's iPhone completely froze up after synching with the latest version of iTunes. In the end, the only thing she could do was re-set the iPhone, thereby of course losing everything. Reconnecting to her laptop restored music and most apps, it seems she has to re-download the other apps again direct to the phone. Now the problem is images. There is an ipod cache directory on the laptop Pictures directory, and in this are folders labelled F00, F01 etc.. and a "Photo Database" file. In each of the Fnn directories is a series of files, called Txxx.ithmb, each of which is about 1,500KB. Doing a backup from the laptop indicates there are about 2900 files overall.Altogether there is about 3GB in this folder, so it looks to be a lot of space.  Pointing iTunes to the directory containing all this and synching, still results in zero images being found. She went to the local Apple store for help, to be told these are not the images, but then elsewhere I have read that these are the full files, and this proprietary format contains three different resolution images. If the images taken on the iPhone are not here, where are they? Finally, how on earth do we convince iTunes to recognize these files and imporrt them again? Sorry to be thick but losing everything thanks to the latest iTunes was rather catastrophic! Any help/ideas/suggestions greatfully received... The photo files were a mix of photos taken on the iPhone and images previously uploaded from the laptop. Cheers Chipontheroad

WHAT OTHER iPhone 4S

My iphone has literally no storage left, when I plugged it into Itunes it said 10.9 GB were occupied by "other" what is other? i have 6 apps, no music, and 32 pictures and my storage is almost full. I'm wondering if anyone has come across the same problem as me and I don't know what to do to fix it. I had to delete basically everything off my phone because of the 10.9 GB other is taking up. I didn't know if I should restore my phone and set it up as a new iphone. Please help!

way of sharing my Macbook Pro's Wifi connection to iPhone 4 Not Using iPhone as hotspot for laptop other way around

So a nasty smash destroyed both Front & Back of my iPhone 4, and since having them replaced the Wifi signal has been really weak. I have seen other posts about screen replacement having to be done by going through the antenna, so something could be missing, or done incorrectly during the screen repair. Will definately be taking it back to the shop and finding out if It was put back together properly.  In the meantime I was wondering if it is possible to share my Macbook Pro's Wifi (always full signal in my house) directly to my iPhone either using USB cable or through bluetooth. It's not been too much of a problem but it would be nice to use my iPhone in bedroom using the Macbooks good signal.  Note: The replacement front screen on iPhone has a small gap >1mm between the screen and centre metal casing on the left side just above the Silent/Loud Switch, which can be noticed by light leaking through the gap. The metal casing also still has a small dent between the volume down buttons and silent/loud switch, again nothing drastic 1mm maximum

There seems to be a lot of people out there dropping their Iphone in the bath so I thought I would share my experience of fixing mine.Firstly if its in warranty consult your dealer - if this doesn't help try the following: A lot of people say stick it in bags of rice / silicon, etc but here is a quicker, more reliable way which is far less likely to contaminate one of the connectors. You do not need any special equipment. Make sure phone is off (If you can still see the screen) - hold sleep and Home for 5 seconds and tap the red off button that appearsPop your oven on a low heat ( less than 100C) for 5 minutes.Wrap your phone inside a sock, doubled over a couple of times so the phone is well protected.Turn oven offPop phone into oven for 30 minutes or longer preferably You could use a hairdryer but be very careful to keep it moving to avoid any localised heat spots that could damage components. If the phone got really soaked you might want to jump down to taking the phone apart - if it is still full of water powering up or charging could result in further damage Let the phone cool and try to power up, if nothing happens check for any signs of water vapour still in the phone and repeat if present. Otherwise try charging and powering up Still no success? this step requires a very small crosshead (some need a 5star) screwdriver, don't compromise and try and use a larger one, damaged screws will cause you even more expense. Very cheap on ebay. Unscrew the 2 small screws at the bottom next to the speaker, slide the back up and lift away. Unscrew the very small screw holding the battery connector in place and pry up the connector (lift the side nearest the edge first). Be careful not to lose the screw or the small metal bracket under the connector. Use the plastic tab sticking up half way along the battery to ease the battery out (usual there is a small amount of glue on them). This will reset the phone (you will not lose anything but the phone will hopeful power up when the battery is replaced). This is a good time to try the drying procedure again to ensure there is no more moisture present. Reconnect the battery screw everything back in place and press the wake button. If this has not succeeded you may need specialist help to test more components.Good luck ( and I cannot stress enough - keep the temperature low when drying)

Two reasons why I would not by an iPhone again

Hi all, yesterday I had two requirements from my iPhone 4 and none of them was fulfilled, so I decided that this is my last Apple device. If any of you can change my mind, go ahead a try. 1st, I wanted to copy a file (pdf) from my local drive at home and then open it in ezPDF Reader. So I used NetPortalLite to access my drive and downloaded the file inside the NetPortalLite. But when I wanted to move the file to ezPDF app it didn't let. Why it is so complicated to move files between apps? I have tried to copy in NetPortalLite, then paste in ezPDF Reader... it didn't work! 2nd, I wanted to access my local drive at home to run a video file. This function is available only in paid apps, although other mobile OS have this ability. Why it is not possible to browse local drives directly from the iOS or safari? Is it so hard to implement this function to the iOS and make it available by SMB://IP_ADDRESS or \IP_ADDRESS? Thanks

Brand New iPhone 5 Terrible Battery Life

I recently purchased an iPhone 5 (Monday, May 6th) and am convinced that the battery is defective. I attempted to get the phone replaced by AT&T since it is within their 14-day Return/Exchange policy, but of course they denied me based on it being a "technical" issue and therefore a problem I need to take up with Apple. Whatever that means.Background info: Left the house around 10:00 AM, battery fully charged at 100%Finished class at 12:00 PM, battery dropped to 53% (VERY minimal use, I was sitting through a lecture)Arrived at AT&T store at 12:15 PM, battery at 51%AT&T Rep turns off LTE, Wireless, Location Services, Bluetooth and Auto BrightnessThe only apps that were opened/used were Text, Mail (fetch set to Manual) and SafariAT&T Rep says there's nothing he can do, but these changes should "help"Left AT&T 12:25 PM, hopped on bus, got home at 12:45 PM, battery drops to 43% (ZERO use)Call nearby Apple store at 12:50 PM to set up an appointment (Call length: 11 minutes), battery drops to 41%Call Customer Support at 1:30 PM to run remote battery diagnostic (Call length: 16 minutes), battery drops to 32%Apple Rep says the diagnostics looks normal...... Battery life: 30%Usage: 2 hours 26 minsStand by: 6 hours and 3 minutes This can't be right. Try again later. I've turned off and turned on my iPhone. I've signed out & back in to the app store. Any  thoughts?

iPhone 4s Intermittent D Backlight

Problem started about 3-4 months ago. Screen will be dim at first, but pressing the power button to turn off the screen and then pressing the power button again will restore the screen to full brightness. Brightness is set to max and Auto-Brightness is off. Phone is not overheating and has never been wet.

Wifi greyed out on Iphone 4s

All of a sudden I lost my wifi signal....Checked out the settings and the WiFi is off and unable to turn it back on....i have powered down the phone...i have done a full restore and the wifi switched remains greyed out....any suggestions?

There was a wrong buy ,  an app called mobile selling platform. For  travel agents to do their flight booking thro ipad .  . This happened by mistake , as normally when u download any app it would ask for the password , but some how this time it did not and the down loaded happened . I tried stopping the down load by putting off the power button , but still did not work . Hence this situation. I tried reporting a problem thro the link in the invoice , but to no success .error is reported . I need a refund and reversal . As I have of no use of the apps . I  am no travel agent and tried calling the India office but was told that they had closed for the day . So then I posted this query on the communities to seek help in sorting this issue .....need help .

Viber Editing text hard to impossible-cursor jumps always to end iPhone 3G

Hi all, everytime I want to edit text I'm entering into the message box, I'm not able to do it, since the cursor always jumps to the end of the text.This makes it impossible to mark & copy some or all text, as well as rephrasing or correcting typos. The only 'workaround' I found is to keep the finger on the target position (and having the looking glass active) and then type one character (or delete on). I'm a little bit curious since my friend and me are experiencing that issue for a long time now though I found no reference on the net for it yet (except one to a wordpress app). It happens on a 3GS as well as on a 4, at least all 6.* versions of iOS, with the previous (2.3.1) as well as with the current Viber version (3.0.0).Also experienced on ipad (3rd gen, cellular edition) with 6.1.3 / 3.0.0 Any hints or tipps are very welcome! Thanks in advance &cu,-udo

HeyI'm wondering that does overcharging the iphone 5 battery or leave it charging all night effects on the battery ??Because I really use the iphone and I usually charge it at night The battery is really good at this time (usually 8-10 hours usage) But as I said I was just wondering because I have BatteryDoctor and it said that I must not leave it charging after it's full.Thank you

iPhone 5 seizing randomly-unable to be used

I am not the most technically inclined, so please bear with me.  About two months ago, lines began showing up in safari every now and again. They would go away, so I didn't think too much of it. Then one night, while in a game app, the screen began "flashing" like a strobelight. It couldn't exit the app fully, was blinking half the screen in the app, part of the home screen, etc. You cannot see throught the commotion to use the phone, if the programs can even open. This happened all evening, through the night, and the entire following day. Then it stopped.  It was fine when I took it to the AT&T store (the closest Apple store is 45 minutes away, so I wanted to be sure AT&T couldn't do anything for me) but by opening and closing programs and apps, I was able to force it to act up. Of course when I left the store, it worked fine again.  It was fine for a few days, acting up only a time or two, but I drove 45 minutes to the Apple store. My Genius Bar member told me it was software based and that I should restore the phone, download the software again, and manually add my media back on. After the four+ hours of downloading and 2+ hours of adding media, it was fine again. That was about two weeks ago. Now it's back.  I looked into the diagnostics (what I can see through the noise on the screen) and I have many different errors going on. Googling these errors codes is not providing much information, and again, I am not the best with this stuff.  SO:-Is a latestcrash.plist or mediaserverd.plist the same as a panic.plist code? In turn, if they are, will Apple replace the phone as they supposedly do in the case of panic.plist crashes? -I've noticed a bunch of the issues seem related to audio and video functions on the phone. I have AudioToolbox, CoreFoundation, and CoreQuartz codes, for example. Are these things that would justify a replacement? I am sitting through another 4 hour software download right now in order to restore the phone again, but am afraid to lose that diagnostics info, but also cannot see the screen to send any diagnostics info to Apple. Is this something that is software based? Does that mean I am going to be doing this every few weeks? The phone is only 6 months old, but I don't want to let it go and loet the one year manufacturer's warranty.  I apologize for being so verbose but I really cannot find anything online that sounds similar to what my phone is doing. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Weather app showing wrong day and temperature iPhone 3G

When I check the weather in the notification tray and in the built-in weather app it says it's Sunday and the temperature is 45 degrees where I am.  That's incorrect.  It's Thursday and 67 degrees.   I also tried weather for major cities and it's showing the wrong day and temperature for them as well.  I checked Yahoo Weather and that data is correct.  I restarted my phone and at some point it showed the wrong data for my town in the local weather page, but the correct weather when I manually added my town, but when refreshing it's wrong for both. There's a number of complaints on Twitter about this.   What's going on?  How can Yahoo's weather be correct, but the iPhone's wrong since the iPhone weather app uses data from Yahoo?
