Hello Dear Sir/Madam, I want to ask a question about my broken iphone 5 screen. Unfortunately, I could not find a discussion title about that topic. The subject is that I want to change my broken iphone 5 with a new one paying $220 and giving back to you mine. And my question is what am I required to do that in any apple store in US. Could you give me the details about like do I need to give back my iphone as the way I bought it I mean with all iphone stuff like charger and headphone.. etc. And the additional and important question is here, I need an official paper written by Apple, which says that the old iphone is changed with the new one (indicating the imei numbers of both) to use it in my country legally, because I have already payed tax amount for the old one and I registered with the old one so to make the new one active.In my country,then legislations say that each person has a right to register only one mobile phone in 2 years; so  I need to prove that the old one is given to back to  your side. Is that possible? If you can answer my all questions as soon as possible I will be glad becuase I will be in New York in a few weeks so I need to learn all details about the topic to be prepared. Thank you.

WiFi iPhone 4

Ok so here's the deal.  At work I barely get one bar on our wireless network, but at home I of course have full signal.  At work I turn off the wifi because at that weak of a signal, it takes forever to send email or a picture on my phone. So I switch to the cellular network, and bam it goes fast.   But then when I get home I want it on the WiFi and keep forgetting to turn it on.  So my question is (without Jailbreaking) hasn't someone come up with an app that will set timers for wifi to turn on and off?  That seems like one that should have been out in the first year of Apps?

my iPhone 4 Genuinely NEW or Refurbished Please HELP

#I just received my BRAND NEW, SEALED, iPhone4 32 GB FACTORY UNLOCKED which I bought from Ebay. After unboxing, I switched on the phone to find that it was already activated, and did NOT show the "Connect to iTunes" screen, which gave me doubts whether this phone is actually brand new, the phone does have that protective film on the front and back which normally comes with brand new iPhones, anyhow I went online and did some intense research and found interesting facts about the serial number, and from my understanding the phones with serial numbers starting with 5K could be a refurbished phone, and indeed my supposedly BRAND NEW iPhone which came in a sealed retail box with all accessories does have a 5K serial number, so I did some more googling and came across a web site which gives details about an iPhone with its serial number and it shows this phone is a refurbished one. I checked on Apple website for warranty and it says "We're sorry, but this is a serial number for a product that has been replaced. Please check your information and re-enter your serial number. If your information is correct, you may need to contactus."  #Now all you good knowledgeable people out there, please please shed some light on this matter.Is this really a genuine brand new phone? When I contacted the seller regarding     the phone being already activated, he said it is normal with phones     which are factory unlocked. But I believe it is actually supposed to     show  - “Connect to iTunes” screen. That was how it was with my     iPhone 3G. At least right out of a brand new box. Am I correct? How can a refurbished iPhone come in a     sealed retail box? Even if that was the case, would it cost the same     as a normal brand new FACTORY UNLOCKED iPhone because I paid US $     904.00 for this. Does Apple sell refurbished iPhones as     new? What confuse me is that the box have all the labels intact as     it was a sealed box, and the serial number and imei number match     with the actual phone. Should I consider this a genuine     product that Apple meant to sell as it is or better I go for a claim     and either get a refund or replacement from the seller on Ebay?.   Thank you very much in advance for all your kind help and insights. Having Paid about £20 for an official unlocking, I am being told to insert a Non-Orange 3G Sim card into the phone that is to be unlocked (Orange is the network the iPhone iscurrently locked to).  Well I don't have a Non-Orange 3G Sim Card do I !!  Hello! I live in Russia and love Apple very much, have many different products and never had any problems with them. And now I decided to buy a new Iphone 5 and wasn't lucky. I bought it on 3.05.2013 in normal shop, then turned out that wi-fi and bluetooth are not working and the phone eats battery very fast. Shop doesn't want take it back, official services don't want to repair it for free, because it was made for USA. I really don't know what to do:( To buy android? Unlock and imei issues iPhone 4

My iphone 4 has just completed my two year contract with vodafone. However in this time my phone broke and I used apple to repair it. Which in fact is actually a switch service. So now I have a different imei number than what I started with. I rang vodafone to unlock my phone, but they say they can't and there is nothing they can do as the phone was not issued by them. I also can't seem to find a way to unlock my phone via apple. So what can I do??Any help would be awesome!

Hello, Which mode uses most battery when the phone is on standby and on a wifi network and has 2G (EDGE) coverage.. 2G+wifi or just wifi? I believe it is 2G+wifi because when you put your phone to sleep, it turns off wifi leaving push connected through 2G which consumes very low power. If I have only wifi enabled, the phone can't turn off wifi otherwise it'd lose the push connection. Thanks.

iPhone 4s Wifi problem, After using the device of 7 month. wifi is not working. BEFORE WAS WORKING FINE and now wifi is not able to identify. I tried all the possibilities to fix the wifi, such as resetting network, restart the phone, restore from iTune and setup as new phone, but the problem remain same. turning on the wifi can't recognise any network. any other idiea to fix the wifi of iPhone. I bought an iPhone 4 locked to Orange UK why can't it be unlocked

I contacted Orange UK and they said that this iPhone4 is ready to be unlocked, but they can't unlock the phone  because I am not the original contract owner. Why can't Apple unlock this phone, because the original owner doesn't care and has sold it? As far as I understand, I am one of at least 3 owners for this phone. I guess there could be more. I just wanted to have a normal iPhone, why can't Apple help on this issue?  I have previously had many apple products, this is the first one I bought used adn just wanted to restore it to normal. Another thing is that 3rd party services can unlock it for 200$. What is that they do to unlock it? Why can't apple make a small comission for unlcoking iPhones instead. Package and product number differ iPhone 5

I bought the iPhone 5 from  Star One Mobile in Sim Lim Square Singpore recently. After reaching my place , just found that the  serial number and imei number in my iPhone 5 product and the packaging box are different. When I check on the website the packaging number shows the product is replaced but the number in product shows valid. Can some one explain the difference?I did not anticipate an Apple product having a difference in serial and imei number  from the packaging --- probable that the Star one mobile could have changed the package?

Re Iphone 4s wifi

My iphone 4s no longer allows me to connect to any wifi connections. The option is greyed out and wont let me do anything to it. I have tried restarting and resetting the network connections and all  settings but this has not worked. The wifi came back briefly randomly at one or two points but could not find any wifi networks. I have read on the internet it is probably a hardware problem so I will be taking it back to apple next week. Just wondered if anyone had any further ideas about the problems?

Folks, I am getting confusing information from various sources.According to the service I am using for factory unlocking my Iphone 5, as soon as I unlock my phone I will be able to use it on all GSM networks, except the original ATT. This is contrary to all the previous unlocks I have ever done on any phone. What is the reason why my phone will no longer work on ATT, if true? Can APPLE or ATT help me get it back on ATT network once I no longer need to use it overseas? Thank you for your help.

I have tried resetting and erased all data but still no luck detecting network. 3G is found briefly when powering back up. I have tried two different sims from two different providers 3 an Vodafone but whilst carrier is found neither connect. Wifi if working fine as are all other phone functions. Any ideas?

Hi there, Im scott, I dont own an iphone so know nothing whatsoever about them. this is our issue pls help :   My sister purchased an iphone 4 from a woman at her work. Her husband upgraded to iphone 5 so sold his old one to my sister. My sister currently has a blackberry on contract to virgin media here in England. She took her BB along with her new iphhone to a local phone shop They cut her simcard down to size and put it into the iphone. When we turned it on we got this message 'only compatible sim cards from a support carrier....... '  I called our current contract to exdplain what we were intending to do and swap settings from a blackberry to her new iphone... they said we needed to contact the original service provider... here lies our issue.  My sister works as a nurse.. she called her collgue to explain all this and ask what network he was on. She doesnot kno and her husband isnt home for another cpl weeks he is military. My sister doesnt want to wait a few weeks to use her new phone. Is there anyway to unlock and activate this phone giving all the detials of the phone and confirmation from his wife regarding the new user ?  Ive read on the internet about jailbraking and all that nonsense.. but i dont want to damage the phone.. I'm having an issue with my wifi/network internet connection. Wifi will work fine sometimes but then wont work unless I turn wifi off/on again. Also when leaving my home my phone wont switch over to my network internet unless I turn my phone on and off.
