Viber Editing text hard to impossible-cursor jumps always to end iPhone 3G

Hi all, everytime I want to edit text I'm entering into the message box, I'm not able to do it, since the cursor always jumps to the end of the text. This makes it impossible to mark & copy some or all text, as well as rephrasing or correcting typos. The only 'workaround' I found is to keep the finger on the target position (and having the looking glass active) and then type one character (or delete on). I'm a little bit curious since my friend and me are experiencing that issue for a long time now though I found no reference on the net for it yet (except one to a wordpress app). It happens on a 3GS as well as on a 4, at least all 6.* versions of iOS, with the previous (2.3.1) as well as with the current Viber version (3.0.0).Also experienced on iPad (3rd gen, cellular edition) with 6.1.3 / 3.0.0 Any hints or tipps are very welcome! Thanks in advance &cu,-udo

Facebook App in Settings iPhone 3G

Hi there, I'm trying to remove the Facebook app from my iPhone5. I've held down the icon til it wiggles, pressed the X, deleted it. I've deleted it from my iTunes library. I've resynced my phone and it's not showing up and not mysteriously reinstalling on my phone (which it did a couple of times) which is great. I then go into my Settings folder on my phone, scroll down the bottom and find it there with Twitter. I click on it and it appears to be an install app for Facebook - Install, Learn More, Sign In etc....  How do I get rid of it completely? As in: I don't want anything Facebook on my phone. Nada. Zip. Zero. Nothing. No Facebook. Is this possible or is there now some deal whereby Facebook is now intrinsically tied with my iPhone5 and there's nothing to be done about it? I'm sorry if there's already been something about this but I really couldn't find it (or I didn't realise what I was looking at).  :- Cheers for the help.

HOW TO DELETE PHOTOS FROM PHOTO library

I accidentally deleted my iTunes library. How I transfer contents of iPhone to new iTunes library

Okay. So this was what happened: I was updating my iTunes library to the latest version. All of a sudden, my netbook crashed and eventually was hanging. So I removed the battery and restarted my netbook. I later found out, my iTunes got deleted. I didnt panic at first since I deliberately deleted my iTunes before and reinstalled it again finding all my files back in the iTunes. But this time, when I reinstalled it, all my files were gone! With this situation, can I transfer all my current files from my iPhone to my new iTunes library? I don't mind losing my music but I just want to safely sync my iPhone to this new iTunes library without erasing my current apps and photos. Hope you guys can help me!

Are you sure you want to remove existing music videos etc iPhone 4

So,  I have the iPhone 4.Recently, I've had to wipe the hard drive of my computer to start new due to viruses and such. All my music and videos that were there aren't anymore because I have not made any iTunes purchases. My problem is that I updated iTunes and it asks me to "Are you sure you want to remove existing music, videos etc" because I have another libraries, with the other library being complete gone, how do I sync new music and videos without having to remove anything? Please help.

How I sync apps from same iTunes account to an iPhone 3G and an iPhone 4S and keep correct version for each iOS

I have an old 3G as well as a 4S. Initially I set up a separate iTunes account for the 4S as I was worried I'd lose my old apps for 3G (as older, compatible versions aren't kept in the iTunes store so once they're gone, they're gone...). 3G is set up to sync with iTunes, 4S is inly syncing mail and conatcts through Exchange but hasn't been synced with an iTunes library for the reason above. Is there a way to sync both phones off the same iTunes account, so I can set up each phone with some music, as well as apps, without iOS 5 versions overwriting the exisitng apps for the 3G? To complicate things further, I don't want to sync photos, contacts, messages, etc. I just want to avoid having to duplicate all my music and pay for all the apps all over again. Suggestions? Cheers

Cant find my library iPhone 3G

I just got back in an Iphone after being a Droid guy for a few years and I am having an embarassing noob problem, I cant seem to find my library on my phone. First my laptop that had all my music stored on it died so i went to Bestbuy and got a new one, I signed into itunes and was able to get all of my music from the cloud, as far as "the cloud" is concerned i really no nothing about it other than it knows what I have bought and seems to back them up for me. The next week i got an iphone 5, I set it up on my pc and created a huge playlist and dragged it on over. My problem is that when I open Itunes on my phone it goes straight to the store and I cant seem to find MY library, if I go to MORE it shows DOWNLOADED and PURCHASED which contains the songs from the playlist. I dont know if im having a cloud problem, phone problem, or pc problem, can someone stear me in the right direction please.

Transfer photos back and forth to OS X WITHOUT iPhoto or iTunes iPhone 3G

I googled to no end, searched Apple support forums endlessly and you know what? Not a single simple answer can seem to be given without being redirected to something that simply does not answer THIS very specific question. Is it, or is it not possible to quickly transfer photos DIRECTLY *FROM* and *INTO* the Camera Roll WITHOUT iTunes or iPhoto? Simple question yes? lol. NOPE. Reason why I ask can be simply described in short: iTunes 11.0.2, running iPhone iOS 6.1; Clicking "Photos" from my iPhone via iTunes, gives me ONE single option; "Sync photos from". Tried keeping it real simple. Make a folder on the desktop called iPhone Photos just for quickly transfering photos back and forth and chose to synch from that. 18 photos to test. Just crap from the internet. Nothing major. Know what it does? For one, it takes 3 minutes or so to sync 18 whole photos, which is stupid but whatever. But here's the BEST part, none get sent to my Camera Roll, oh no, it makes TWO entirely new folders under it in my iPhone. One being the one I made on my desktop, and the other is called Photo library, and get this, BOTH of these have the same 18 pictures lmao. Yup. Why? Oh who cares at this point. I really just do not care. Apple. All that needs to be said. And as for iPhoto. It's just an unnecessary useless program I have no intentions of ever needing. Why? I keep a crap load of various types of photos in organized folders in my Finder, and iPhoto likes making sure it takes 3x longer to do that. It really just does.  Now back on point. What happened to the good old friggin days when all you had to do was DRAG AND DROP?!?!?! I legitimately am getting cancer from pondering this question.  Is there not a way to simply drag from Camera Roll somehow to the iMac, like say a specified folder. And Vice Versa from the iMac straight to Camera Roll? A nice workaround to get FROM Camera Roll TO iMac specified folder is "Image Capture" which does exactly just THAT. Quickly and painlessly transfer STRAIGHT FROM AND TO wherever. This is ridiculous. At this point, I'd pay 50 bucks for a simple app to quickly drag and drop from and to Camera Roll and bam. Done.  Sorry for the book, but this is getting ******** trying to get an answer to this and thought I would deem it necessary to be as descriptive as humanly possible.  Looking for simple answers if possible, but at least descriptive. Thanks.

Itunes songs deleted iPhone 5

Hi By mistake i deleted all my songs from library and when i trying to sync my iphone 5 to library it says all songs will be removed so how can i get it back all songs to my itunes library and i have latest version of itunes!

Problem with corrupted iPhone photo albums

I have a problem with my iPhone "Photos" app. When I open it is see hundreds of "ghost" albums in the Albums tab. I have tried to turn off syncing photos in iTunes and then turn it back on again, and so deleting all albums and photos and then re-applying- but no luck.  I also tried to sync with an empty folder on my Mac instead of the iPhoto library, but this still does not delete the albums. Anyone know how to nuke the photos on an iPhone and start from scratch WITHOUT having to restore the iPhone to its factory state?

Cannot Restore Corrupt Backup after upgrading to 6.1.3 iPhone 4S

My wife needed to make space on her Iphone because of the many videos she had on it. When she plugged the phone into our iMac, running 10.8.3, and connected to iPhoto to transfer the videos over the upload started as it normally does. However, during the middle of the transfer iTunes interupted and INFORMED my wife that the phone was now upgrading to the newest software version (6.1.3)being as we usually keep our phones up to date with upgrades anyways we didnt think much of it. Unfortunately during this process the software update failed and the phone crashed. We were left with two options "restore from backup" or "restore iPhone." We tried several times to restore from the backup and we received the same error message every time "iTunes could not restore the iPhone because the backup was corrupt or incompatable with the Iphone that is being restored." I went into my library and checked out my backups folder and I saw that there were two new backups there for my Wife's phone. One time stamped at the exact time the phone crashed and one from the last time I tried to restore(after the phone crashed). We finally decided that there must have been a glich with the softwarre download, since it didn't complete, so we decided to "Restore Iphone" hoping that a corrected software would then allow us to restore from the backup properly. So the phone was wiped and reset with the new software, and we still cannot access the backup that we need. Though it is extremely frustrating that the videos of our toddler are gone, it is very important that we somehow find a way to access the information in the non corrupt backup files, her address and phone books as well as past text messages and calendars. I went to a site called iphonerecoveryonline and followed their protocol and I was able to see that all of the aboved mentioned information is still in those backups, but I have no way, with out paying these people $20 per file, to return that info to her phone. I would rather not have to pay to recover this info, but I guess that may be my only option? Any advice, experience or reccomendations would be greatly appreciated.

Apps launching on their own iPhone 4

When I close an application and put my phone down, it randomly opens other applications. For example, it opens a tune in my library, randomly phones contacts in my address book or accesses the Internet.  Has anyone experienced this problem and identified a solution?

Why Reject My APP iPhone 3G

We found that your app uses one or more non-public APIs, which is not in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines. The use of non-public APIs is not permissible because it can lead to a poor user experience should these APIs change. We found the following non-public API/s in your app:_terminateWithStatus:If you have defined methods in your source code with the same names as the above-mentioned APIs, we suggest altering your method names so that they no longer collide with Apple's private APIs to avoid your application being flagged in future submissions.Additionally, one or more of the above-mentioned APIs may reside in a static library included with your application. If you do not have access to the library's source, you may be able to search the compiled binary using "strings" or "otool" command line tools. The "strings" tool can output a list of the methods that the library calls and "otool -ov" will output the Objective-C class structures and their defined methods. These techniques can help you narrow down where the problematic code resides. We appreciate that you may have made the precautions in your code for using non-public APIs, however, there is no way to accurately or completely predict how an API may be modified and what effects those modifications may have. For this reason, we do not permit the use of non-public APIs in App Store apps.If there are no alternatives for providing the functionality your app requires, we encourage you to file anenhancement request. Or, try working with the Apple Developer Technical Support team to explore alternative solutions. On occasion, there may be apps on the App Store that don't appear to be in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines. We work hard to ensure that the apps on the App Store are in compliance and we try to identify any apps currently on the App Store that may not be. It takes time to identify these occurrences but another app being out of compliance is not a reason for your app to be.For discrete code-level questions, you may wish to consult with Apple Developer Technical Support. Please be sure to:- include the complete details of your rejection issues- prepare any symbolicated crash logs, screenshots, and steps to reproduce the issues for when the DTS engineer follows up. For information on how to symbolicate and read a crash log, please see Tech Note TN2151 Understanding and Analyzing iPhone OS Application Crash Reports. If you have difficulty reproducing this issue, please try testing the workflow as described in <https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/qa/qa1764/>Testing Workflow with Xcode's Archive feature".

i accidentally sync my wife iphone 5 at my itunes library and i think it overwrites everything in her phone possibilities we can restore her files

i accidentally sync my wife iphone 5 at my itunes library and i think it overwrites everything in her phone is there any possibilities we can restore her files?

how can I keep old appointments from deleting in my iphone calendar

It seems iphone's calendar automatically deletes past appointments.  It won't even let me make an appointment for something that happened in the past.  I need to reference old appointments though so is there some way to make the iphone save old appointments or at least ask me?  It has nothing to do with syncing to my computer as I rarely do that.  This is really annoying.  My old Palm would save everything and it was great since I could go back and see the last time I went to the dentist, etc.  Is there a fix to this?

Suddenly can't sync songs from iTunes to iPhone other help topics suggestions not helping me

Everytime I try to sync any of my songs onto my iPhone 4, I get an error message that says: "Some of the items in the iTunes library, including "(song name)", were not copied to the iPhone "iPhone Name" because they could not be found." and then it stops syncing. It says there are 13 problems. Then when you expand to see the files, each one says: "(song name)"" was not copied to the iPhone "iPhone Name" because it could not be found." It can be any song, an old song from 7 years ago that I got off Limewire, or a song from a CD, or it can be a song I paid for from the iTunes store. Doesn't matter. Couple weeks ago, I had no problems. Purchased new songs and had them in playlists on my phone. Then a couple days ago, I plugged my iPhone into the computer (to charge it), and suddenly my songs were removed off the iPhone. So I tried to put them back on, kept getting this error. So I googled it. I have spent the past 4 days TRYING to get things to work. I have looked through all the other similar questions, and tried suggestions on there. Nothing is working. - There is no exclamation point beside any of my music.- I have not changed the hard drives (I don't use my computer daily, probably once a week), (Windows is up to date also).- I have tried re-adding the songs to the library.- Everything still plays in iTunes.- If I click on the file in its location, it will open it and play it in iTunes. - I tried deauthorizing my account then reauthorizing it, didnt work.- I have even removed all my music off my phone to see if that works, now I have 15 songs on it. I did find it odd that when I looked in my purchased playlist, they were not there, but they are on the computer and on the purchased list (under the iTunes store on the side menu). At least I can use my iPod for when I'm in the car, but now I have to carry that around too, I'm getting quite frustrated. Normally I'm quite computer savvy, but I'm totally stuck on this one. And like most people, I rely on my iPhone WAY to much and let the little things affect my daily life. I hope SOMEONE can please help me?!? (I don't know if it may even have to do with the fact that yesterday I finally got my iPhone updated to the latest IOS, (cuz I was finally able to download the update from iTunes... Unless that was a separate update) the one where it's like "do you want to cancel, download only, download and install").

iTunes library to iPhone

Is there anyway you can 'transfer' the songs in your iTunes library to your iPhone without having to connect the iPhone to your Macbook? I don't see how I can use iCloud to do so, and I believe iTunes Match(?) is the only option, yet it must be paid for.   Reason I ask: I think my Port is defected and I already have problems charging my iPhone 4S. 1.) To charge in the Car: I first must turn off my iPhone, then connect it to the car charger. the iPhone will turn on as usual, and will charge while On.  2.) To charge in the House: I must connect the iPhone to the cord/charger that's already plugged in the wall outlet, then turn the iPhone off; it will ONLY charge while off.3.) iPhone will not connect, nor be recognized when plugged into Macbook.  I'm unsure what the issue is with that.. some say it's the battery, I haven't came across any discussions mentioning a defected port. unfortunately, there is not an Apple Care location in my area!  however in the meantime, is there ANYWAY I could get my iTunes library music from my Macbook to my iPhone without having to connect them both?

Having problems syncing my iphone 5 to itunes

Transfer music from iTouch to iTunesiPhone iPhone 5

I have recently bought an iPhone and I want to transfer all my music from my iTouch to my phone but most of my music came from an old computer that is gone now. Is there any way of doing this on windows, because I still have my iTouch and all the music on it but I can't get it into my iTunes library to get it onto my phone?

ALL OF MY SONGS ARE GONE iPhone 3G

Alright APPLE.ITUNES 11 *****.STOP UPDATING YOUR STUFF BECAUSE IT'S ONLY GETTING WORSE. I was trying to add literally TWO songs to my phone from a laptop that I had authorized my account on and whatever, and I didn't know how to add stuff on without DELETEING EVERYTHING, which is THE ONLY OPTION ON ITUNES.  So I looked up some stuff on how to do so, and guess what, everything got deleted anyways, except for things I purchased. Stuff from albums, which is what my music library on my phone was 99% made up of got deleted. I pressed manually backup phone, and then everything except for 19 songs, which are songs I purchased from the iTunes on my phone disapeared, and so I'm pretty sure theres a copy of my music somewhere. Please help!

GPS on iPhone 4S

Hello Everyone, I have a question in reference to the iPhone 4s GPS.  I'm going to use google maps to find directions between 2 locations (point A to point B) while I'm on Wi-Fi on my iPhone 4s. Neither of the locations that I'm finding directions between will be my current location.  When I get to point A I will not have any cellular or data service whatsoever.  My question is if I use google maps (keep it running in the background) when I get to point A will it be able to give me real time movement (the blue dot) when I get to point A so I can use google maps to find my way to point B.  Will the GPS be utilized at the point?  Also if I hit the button on google maps to display my current location will it do that. All help and knowledge will be greatly appreciated.

I clicked on the link (thinking it's somoene I know since the person got my first name), it automatically re-directed a few times on my iPhone's Safari browser.. ie. sort of like how spam/viruses go when you click on them on a real computer. I shut down the Safari app quickly but not sure how much of the page already loaded. Does anyone know anything about this spam/virus? And, is it possible to hack my iPhone? How do I further protect myself? Please help!! For your reference: I have an iPhone 5. It has not been jail broken nor have I tried to do anything shady to it. I'm fairly sure I have most of the latest OS updates.

How can I delete music off my phone while on my phone iPhone 5

I'm almost out of space on my phone, and I only want certain music on it--not my entire iTunes library. I even bought iTunes Match so that the majority of my music could be in the cloud and I could still access it without it taking up unneeded space on my phone. Is there a way to delete specific songs, or artists, or albums, or whatever off of the iPhone 5 on the phone itself? I know you used to be able to just swipe your finger length-wise along a song and it would give you the option to delete the song (and you could do this with any section in the Music app e.g. artist, album, etc.). But I seem to be unable to do this anymore. And even then when I could delete individual selections, when I synced my phone to iTunes it would just redownload the music. I want to keep only certain songs on my phone in the Music app and only put others on if I specifically mean to do so. So basically, is there any way for me to do this? to keep only the bare necessities on my phone and not have others downloaded automatically? Thanks!

Audible Audiobook Won t Sync to IPhone From iTunes

I got my first audiobook with the free Audible trial yesterday and after I downloaded it from the Audible website, I was able to open it and listen to it in iTunes on my MacBook. However, when I synced my IPhone to my MacBook, everything but the audiobook got transfered over. The audiobook was categorized under "audiobooks" in iTunes, so I know that the audiobook did not get thrown into a playlist under music in iTunes. I confirmed this after searching through my iTunes library. in itunes, I even made sure to check the box saying "Sync Books", however, I noticed that iTunes did not give me the option of changing the drop down menu specifying what kinds of book would be synced to the iPhone. I attached a print screen of this menu. As you can see, this drop down menu is frozen (light grey) and is restricted to only books and PDFs, which I assume does not include audiobooks. In the end, my Audible mobile app shows that my audiobook has not been put on the iPhone because whenever I press the "Refresh" button, it shows that the iPhone had not yet been downloaded (I couldn't downloaded it through 3G because the audiobook exceeded 50MB). Thank you, and hopefully you can help me figure this issue out.

iPhone 5 alarm clock pop-up

I have the iPhone 5 and I keep getting a pop-up when I change my alarm times. It keeps asking me if I want to download over cellular network. I do use songs from my library, but I don't understand why I need to download or what exactly I'm downloading.

iPhone 5 lightning adapter Life Fitness treadmills

Hi, has anyone tried the iPhone 5 with the lightning adapter in the life fitness treadmills that have iPod 30pin connectors. I tried myself and it didn't work, it recognizes the iPhone which charges and says accessory connected in the iPhone screen but apparently an image with controls of my music library are supposed to appear in the treadmill. Is this an "iPod out" functionality or is it because video is not supported or there is something I am missing (first time I try to connect iPhone/iPod to these machines). I was wondering if somebody else has tried. Thanks ps: I have sent an email o Life Fitness with this issue as they said before that audio should work and I am awaiting their answer.

Music not syncing via PC after IOS 6.1 update iPhone 4S

Hey guys, is anybody else having issues syncing music via Itunes on a PC to your Iphone since the IOS 6.1 update. I have an Iphone 4s. After updating my Iphone via PC, all of my music (some 5100 songs) were removed. I checked the settings in Itunes, making sure that SYNC entire library was selected. I also made sure that my Iphone settings were set to sync via PC. It would show that it was going to resync my music, but then finish the sync without adding any music back to my Iphone. I can upload music via the cloud, including albums I burned to Itunes via CDs, but honestly I don't want to have to manually redownload every single album I have. Any ideas?

When I go to my settings and go to iTunes and app store it says its logged into my account. But when I actually go to update or download something it says someone else s ID. I don t how to fix it and keep it fixed. Help please. iPhone 3G

That happens when you have an app on your phone that was purchased with the other person's Apple ID.  (Apps and their updates are permanently tied to the ID used to purchase them.)  The only way to stop this is to delete the app from your phone and your iTunes library, then repurchase it with your ID.

iOS 6.1 alarm clock bug-when I click save it tries to download song iPhone 4S

I went to set my alarm, and when I clicked save a pop up appeared which said "Download over cellular? Additional fees may apply when downloading over cellular" and it gave me two options: cancel or download. Does this have anything to do with the fact that my alarm tune is a song from my iPhone music library...? Very strange.

Stream Music from Mac iTunes library to iPhone

I am looking for a way to stream music via the internet from my Mac to my iPhone. I am definitely not looking for a cloud solution and I am not looking to download the music onto my iPhone.  Audiogalaxy worked very well for this and in spite of a few UI idiosyncrasies it gave me access to my iTunes library and any other music in multiple formats I had on a shared drive very easily and dependably.  The performance via my cellular network was very good.  Audiogalaxy has been sold to Dropbox and support for AG has been terminated.  I try not to use orphaned solutions if I can so does anyone out there have a good repalcement?  There are quite a few "sort of" solutions out there but I would like to find something that has been thouroughly vetted by the brain trust here and "just works".  Without cobbling together a bunch of extra hardware or more than a Mac based server/ iPhone app situation I am ideally looking for a way to stream music stored on my Mac to my iPhone and use my iTunes library WITHOUT having iTunes running 24/7. I find many variations on this theme but nothing that addresses this so far. Sorry if this has been asnswered in the past. TIA,Pete

iPhone battery drain iPhone 4S

I recently purchased an iPhone 4s when it was running iOS 5.1.1. I eagerly updated to iOS 6 as soon as it was available. I had been seeing slightly less-than-optimal battery life of 5.1.1, but iOS 6 delivered simply terrible battery life. I have scoured through many forums and found nothing that worked. I have even tried restoring as a new phone, but with no results. Before I go ahead and make a Genius Bar appointment, is there anything I can do to fix this? I have reset all settings, turned off bluetooth, turned off push mail and notifications and location for unnecessary things, including system services, disabled Siri, turned down brighness, gone through charge cycles, done hard reboots, and removed unnecessary syncing services. Yet my battery still fails to deliver. Can anyone recommend anything else to try?  As a reference, I get about 5-6 hours of light usage (checking email, checking news briefly, maybe watching a few YouTube videos) with 10-12 hours of standby on a good day. There have been days where I got up to 8 hours on very restricted usage. On bad days, when I throw in 15-20 minutes of games and more heavy video, I get 4 hours of usage maximum. I got far more than this on my iPod Touch 4G running iOS 5.1.1, so I was rather startled by this performance. If this is normal, and the iPhone battery in general isn't too good, please let me know. However, I have a strong feeling that this is unusual. If no solution presents itself, I will be going to see the Genius Bar.

iPhone can't restore error-1 at last second with iPhone 4 GSM

Hi all. I've already tried asking this elsewhere, but haven't really had much luck with help other than "it has to be a hardware issue". So, here goes. Note: it is far out of the warranty date, plus it's physically damaged.  I have an iPhone 4 (16, I think) that was working aside from cracks in the screen. I saw it working a few months ago and it was given to me (it hasn't been used since). When I turned it on, it showed the iTunes and usb cable (indicating it needed restoring) so I tried restoring it (invalid build error I think). I kept trying again and again but got the 16xx error a few times. I have tried two different computers, different OSs, (one that didn't even ever have itunes installed) and I keep getting the same -1 error at the very very end of the restore. Early on, I was able to get it to boot and get to a passcode screen but then it said the iPhone needs to be restored after I unlocked it.  It's almost like it's restoring fine and then suddenly it doesn't verify at the end with apple's servers or something. My apartment's wifi goes through an isp with security of some sort, I'm sure. Could that be an issue? I feel like it almost restores it but then it fails right at the end. Here is one of the logs--this one is the latest -1 error. It is abridged since most of it wouldn't fit. I don't know how to attach the full log. Camera on my iPhone 4s not working.

the camera had been working just fine. Maybe a little sluggish to open, but no issues.  Then I went to take a photo the other night and it would not work. The shutter froze in the closed mode. None of the icons on the phone would work. Then after leaving it for  a few minutes it would open but could not take a photo. Though it was even hit or miss if this would happen.  A couple of times I was able to get it working in the reverse mode.    I have tried syncing to another library, my software is up to date (6.0.01).  I even did a factory reset etc.  NOTHING. VERY frustrating. Of course it is two months out of warranty now.  Thank you,Yvonne

Can you transfer apps form an iPhone to ITunes Win 7

Can I transfer my apps form my iPhone to iTunes (Win 7)? When I transferred my library to my new computer, the apps didn't tranfer.

App Updates on iPhone5iTunes

iPhone5 (iOS 6.0.2) and with the latest update of iTunes (11.0.1 (12)): I used to be able to see apps that needed to be updated through the iTunes apps library (there was a notification in the bottom right hand corner telling me that updates were available and how many) and then select to update using my iMac rather than using an expensive download on my iPhone.  This option isn't obvious in the latest release of iTunes.  Is it hidden or am I simply missing it?  I want to be able to download the updates to iPhone apps through my iMac rather than using my iPhone5.

8G not enough on iPhone 4 options

Hi- sorry I don't know if this new-ish phone to me is CDMA or GSM (carrier is Sprint/Nextel if that helps).  I got this iPhone 4/8Gig "free" a few weeks ago but I'm finding that between the new, wonderous world of apps now open to me, and my existing music library, 8gigs is coming up short. I don't suppose there is any options increase the space in this device, without getting a whole new device?  It sure would be great if it at least had a slot for a micro card for extra storage like on my old, crappy, dumb-phone (which I could use as an oversized mp3 player... if I could only find it.)  I'm not a big fan of the new 'cloud' based solutions, as they depend on too many variables that are out of my controll, with the probablility of leaving me without my music.  Plus, the delay is anoying.  My area is lite on the available technology and cell service.  Can an iPhone 4 accept additional memory space upgrades?

Why are Maps turn-by-turn directions skipping words iPhone 3G

My iPhone 5 often drops words out of the turn-by-turn navigation voice-over. For instance, the screen reads "in 0.5 miles, turn right onto [whatever]" but the iOS Maps voice says "In half turn right onto [whatever]". It will also break off in the misslde of a word such as "turn r- onto [whatever]". This is completely reproducable and makes no difference what roads I am on or turning onto. I have tried the following:- Change the Siri voice from an American Woman to a British Man (this did not change the Maps voice, but I thought I'd try)- Change from LTE to 4G (thought it might be bandwidth)- Reset the iPhone 5 to 6.0.1 factory settings and restore from a backup- Reset the iPhone 5 to 6.0.1 factory settings and just use my iCloud account for contacts, not restoring a backup- Change from LTE to 4G (thought it might be bandwidth) It is always the same set of words. It's like the language library is corrupted but I thought for sure restoring would resolve that. I cannot find anyone else experiencing this issue - am I alone in this?

are purchased items on iPhone “iPhone 5 of message

There is an update available. I receive the following message before downloading and installing:There are purchased items on the iPhone “iPhone5 of (me)” that have not been transferred to your iTunes library. You should transfer these items to your iTunes library before updating this iPhone. Are you sure you want to continue? How do I transfer to my iTunes library? (And how did they get there? I have not purchased anything from my phone. Could it be an App(s)?Thanks anyone and everyone..

Privacy settings Photo library and Instagram iPhone 3G

How do I adjust my Privacy settings to that Instagram can see both my Camera Roll (can see) and my Photo library (can't see after latest Instagram update)? Settings > Privacy lists Twitter and Facebook but not Instagram. I suspect I need to add them back here but can't determine how that works. Thanks. TJK
