Hello Everyone Who loves Apple most I DO Anyway I would like to make this chat about the iphone 5 like for tips and tricks and stuff like that but first of all... How do you save battey life. I close all the apps in the multitasking bar, turn the brightness down to 50%, turn the weather and stocks widget off, set the nonifications I want to reminde me, and I also, turn off WiFi and 3G when not using it but my BATTERY STILL GOES TO QUICKLY! I have bad battery iphone 5

My iphone 5 is one month old and I cannot talk for 2 hours without my battery dying.   It wasn't like this when I got the phone last month but in the last week - it won't hold any charge.  My OLD iphone that is 2 years old has a longer battery life than this  with tons of use.   I have been turning ALL of the apps off (which i should not have to do with a one month old phone) and I still can;t get 2 hours of use without the battery dying on me.   tI's starting to annoy me and if my battery is bad I just want to go get a new phone. Is anyone else having this issue or does anyone know how to check to see if my battery is bad?  Any ideas is this can fixed? Thanks in advance for the help

My iphone tunred off and it won't turn back on. I have tried charging it, I have tried holding both buttons for 5 minutes at a time. It still does nothing. I've tried going to chat with apple service but i need to turn on the phone to see my serial number to get to that. I'm stuck can anyone help?

Hello everyone! I've got a problem with my iphone 4S and I hope someone here can give me a hint on how to fix this... Last year in March I was on vacation in Las Vegas (I live in Austria/Europe) and bought a new unlocked iphone 4S GSM in the Apple Store in the Forum Shops in Las Vegas including AppleCare+ (I just learned that iPhones can only be serviced in the Country where they are bought - my bad). Lately I was browsing through my Apple support profile and noticed that my iphone was not registered there. So I tried to enter the serial number of the device and got this message:We're sorry, but this is a serial number for a product that has been replaced. Please check your information and re-enter your serial number. If your information is correct, you may need to contact us. I knew this could not be true so I called Apple Care here in Austria and first I was told that - according to its serial number - my iphone has been replaced, and that it never should have been sold. I also was told that I have no chance of getting any service for this device despite the Care Protection Plan because the device is invalid due to its status as "replaced". And last but not least I was told that I could never receive any service for this device because American devices cannot be repaired in Europe (I was not aware of this fact and would have expected the salesperson in the Apple Store to tell me because I definitely told him that I am from Austria). Meanwhile I wrote an email to the store where I bought the iphone from but it's two days now and I have not received an answer (or any indication that my email was received) yet. Is there anything I can do? Yours,Michael

I know that its most likely a hardward issue as stated in the forum. Now here is the problem.  I bought the iphone from a local (philippines) online reseller http://lazada.com.ph.  Lazada would only give the the apple 1-800-1441-0234 number and will not accept any repairs and service.  I would never purchase anything from lazada specially electronics because of how they handled my case. Absolutely no support and repair /service channels for iphones bought from them.  As per lazadas advice, I called the 1800 number and was again adviced to call the local carriers.  I was adviced by the apple chat support to contact my local carriers. Local carriers like smart and globe would only accept repairs and service for iphones bought from them. I visited several local apple reseller stores and they decline to render service because the unit was not bought from them. I cant seem to get technical support and have the iphone checked by an authorized service center. What and where is the proper channel for me to get support and have the unit repaired or replaced? Thank you in advance.

I have iphone 4S and using chrome app. Google recently give me a lot of problem, it redirect to me to some website I never heard before such as http://corp.kaltura.com/. It was different website couple days ago. I tried on Safari, both app will have problem at the same time. If I can use google, Safari and chrome will both work, if google has problem, both will have problem (google only). I tried on search box or type google.com, clear all the histories and cookies. Could not solve problem.  Sometimes turn off the iphone then turn it back on will temperately solve the problem, but it come back again. Yahoo search engine has no problem at all. Anyone know how to fix that PS: sometimes I get google authentication requirement, but this redirect issue is not link to that. They are happen at two different times

Strange Battery Behaviour iphone 5

Hi,I got this strange problem 2 days ago.I charged the phone 100% at 6pm and in the morning it was dead. Even when I pressed power button nothing happened (usually it blinks the dead battery) but this time - nothing.So I charged it again and watch and recorded: It drained 5% per 30min. that's 10% per hour! It doesn't matter if its 3g or lte or even air-plain mode. Same result.So yesterday I restored it and set it up as new. But the problem remains.  Strangest thing ever. I checked the info in iBackupBot4 and it gives me: CycleCount:77 DesignCapacity: 1430 FullChargeCapacity: 1375 - which is all normal!  So is there anything more that I can try?  Thank You.

I know of an app called boom on macbook pro, but is there something, whether it be hardware or software, that will allow me to adjust the levels on my iphone for everything that produces sound? so if I watch a youtube video and want it equalized, it will be adjusted to my preset levels, or if I want to listen to pandora, it will automatically be adjusted to my preset levels? I bought a full price Unlocked iphone 5 from Apple back in January to use on Straight Talk. I had some issues with data on Straight Talk not being reliable and I had to keep turning data off and on again to get a connection. Now that TMobile is supporting the iphone at the same price as Straight Talk I figured i'd give them a try - after all that's what having an unlocked phone with no contrat is all about right? I'm a free agent. So i signed up however i don't get 3G anyhere, and my 4G coverage is spotty (talking HSPA+ 4G not LTE). This is because my $599 unlocked phone doesn't have AWS support.  My question is why won't Apple release an update that will allow my identical hardware to work the way the one would if i bought it from TMobile? It's the same A1428 Model, the ony difference is the software.  I really don't have to have to sell my older A1428 to buy a new A1428 from TMobile just to get it to work when it should have anyway.  Can someone respond as to what Apple plans to do about this? Thanks,Andrew

Touch screen not responding after water damage iphone 5

Hello community. I do get the fact that there is million of threads, but I want to know the opinion of others on this particular case. I dropped my phone into the toilet (luckily, it was clear) and immediately got it out. As I had no experience with these kind of accidents, I actually didn't turn off the phone. I used a towel and then I wobbled my phone to get rid of the water. Then, as the phone started rebooting itself, I dried it with a hairdryer (yes, I'm an idiot) and used a vacuum cleaner to help the proccess. It kept saying this error [NAND] FileFlashAndMedia or something like that, so I turned it off for good and tried to restore it - I started getting the -1 error. After several repetitions, iTunes finally started restoring my iphone 5 and everything was back to normal. But then I came to the dreadful realization that the screen does not respond. Everything is ok - all the buttons, the display, even the sound seeems to be fine. So after these 15 minutes of panicking I started to read articles and watch videos of other people. Put the phone in a bowl of rice, sealed it and I turn it on from times to times to find out if the screen started responding. Any suggestions? Do you think there is a possibility to recover it?

New Facebook Update Not Working iphone 4

A few weeks ago I updated to the new fb chat head feature on my iphone 4 and it worked perfectly. However, the next day I got another update for the sticker feature, but after updating to this addition neither features appeared. The new fb was present, but my chat head feature was no longer there and no stickers either! Facebook chat just appeared like it did before I updated any of it, but the other aspects (e.g. news feed, etc.) are updated. Does anyone know how this happened and what can I do to fix it?

Using UK purchased Unlocked iphone 5 in Germany

I am about to buy an unlocked iphone 5 direct from Apple here in the UK, which will be pay-as-you-go, and I want to know if I can use a service provider here in the UK for most of the time, but when I travel to Germany (about twice a month) will I be able to swap out the UK SIM and insert a comparable one whilst in Germany, then swap back when I return home?  As far as I can tell from Apple's web site info: (http://store.apple.com/uk/buy/home/shop_iphone/family/iphone5) "...About the unlocked iphone.Unlocked iphone isn't tied to one network, so you have the freedom to choose any supported GSM network worldwide. it possible to sync My Stations of Podcasts application across devices iphone 3G

The devices in question are an iphone 5 and a 3rd generation iPad, both run the latest iOS bits available and I am signed in with my Apple Id on both devices.  The behavior I'd like to experience is:the settings (Stations and Podcasts within Stations and particular Podcast settings) set on one device just show up on the other device.both devices show the exact same played, partly-played and unplayed podcasts in their stations. Isn't this the way things should "just work" in the Apple world?  The reason for asking is that my two devices do not seem to talk to each other and cannot locate a way to get them to synchronize. Thank you,  eugen

I've been an dedicated Apple customer since the iphone 2G and have qued up every release day for the next model. Always delighted with the service at apple, im now disappointed that my phone had to be replaced 2 weeks ago as it would turn off when ever it felt like it. Problems happen, Happy customer with a replacement immediately.  Now 2 weeks later, the replacement phone has died (tried all suggested revival techniques to no avail) Apple (Southampton) tell me they cant help me until Wednesday evening as their busy. Is my Business supposed to go on hold until Wednesday? Surly I must be able to pop in to store and wait to see someone and get it remedied? Im very disappointed with the telephone service of the girl on the phone at Apple Southampton. Anyone have any suggestions?

I just activated an iphone 4 with straight talk aboout a week or two ago and my internet is not working I have called them many times and they finaly told me to contact apple because all the setting information the phone needs is updated and they think it might be just a setting or something that is not right so the internet access can conect.So I'm wondering if you can help me find ot what that setting is or exactly what is going on with the phone that is not letting me get the internet access. I'm so frustrated and in desperate need of help, I don't know what else to do! Certain apps such as Tumblr (I've previously had the Tumblr app on my phone) and Vine will NOT dowload on my phone. I've tried deleting all apps from both my iphone and iTunes, I've tried restoring my phone then backing it up, I've tried downloading the app from iTunes while my phone is plugged into my computer, etc. When I search the apps in the app store they show up but the 'FREE' button is white and unclickable, it's very frustrating. When I download it from iTunes while my phone is plugged in I can watch it download, but when it's done it immediately dissapears from the screen and from my phone. When I plug my phone into iTunes it say I have the Tumblr and Vine apps, but I assure you, I do not. I have deleted and tried to add them so many times but it never works. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!

Right side of power button unresponsive at times registering two clicks. iphone 5

So I've had the black iphone 5 since October and only recently has the power button been a little off. Left side seems to work fine but I'd just like to know what the cause is and if it's due to hardware issues covered by the one year warranty.

Videos App no permission iphone 3G

I'm getting the error "You do not have permission to access the requested resource" when I try to play a Video from the "shared" folder in the Videos app...trying to access videos on my laptop in iTunes and watch them on my phone. iphone 5 screw messed up bit

Hi, Today after cleaning my iphone I found that my pentelobe screw is messed up a little.I don't know what caused this. But still the form is little bit changed.
