Why Apple doesn't change my iphone in Argentina Why have I to go USA for change iPhone 4S

On febraury I bought an Iphone 4S but now the wifi doesn't work, this is a common problem in the Iphone, but now I am in Argentina and in my country there isn't any place where repair my telephone. I called to Apple to tech support and they told me they could not assist me because they only assist people from Mexico and Canada, and that I had to speak to an authorized service center in Argentina, so I went to the place they told me, in that place I say they can not sorting the problem, that the only solution is to travel to USA to change.Because they tell me that if in legal terms of the warranty states that if Apple so you can make changes determined through some mail? Why not give me that option? I have the right to use my iPhone in its 100%, the truth that without wifi and bluetooth is how to use it by 50%.Any recommendations?

camera is not working properly. At first it showed up with pink purple and all sorts of different pink and purple lines on the screen, it would also go in and out to different types of shapes. And now the shutter won't open and I can not switch from front facing camera to the rear camera. The buttons (auto,options) do not work either. I tried resetting the settings, restarting my phone, nothing has changed...

Good night;guys, I have a problem and would like some help:I bought it on Amazon, 1 Iphone 5 Unlocked, factory unlocked. The device functioned normally and after an update, it did not take over my chip and says the device is locked (is asking to put a valid chip). After several attempts, I got in touch with the Apple of my country (Brazil), and to my surprise, the search for the serial device, they reported that the device is locked by Sprint and manufactures do not accept support or exchange (The unit has 1 month bought with full price in amazon), telling me to settle with Amazon. I insisted informing them that the unit was purchased unlocked and they also reported that this device is aimed at the European market, it works with CDMA and GSM and Apple Brazil suporPelas just the research I have done and talking to some people, I passed the information that Sprint can easily inform this code (or Imei) not sure which unlocks the device again, but have no information on how to get or do that. I contacted Amazon stating what happened and I'm waiting for a position within it, is to send the code or return the handset. My model is the A1429. battery draining on iPhone 5

I just got the iPhone 5 last month. I did an OS upgrade not too long ago. My phone seems to be draining very quickly. Twice I thought it was because some how, a number was called and I thought the line may have stayed open a good long time. Now I don't know. I mostly text, do no web surfing, ocassionally check my email. The past week I keep getting battery low message. Any thoughts/suggestions?

My camera frozen iPhone 4

Have tried restore on iTunes and restore to new on phone.   The issue is not changing even with that.  Happened about a month ago and haven't been able to get it to work since. As soon as I click on camera, whatever the camera is facing is what it is frozen on.   Sometimes the shutter won't even open and the video does not work either.  None of the apps that you can take a picture with work either like Instagram, pict stich etc. Not sure what else to do. seberia8

No sound on appfunction iPhone 5

Hi guys i got my iPhone 5 about 2 week after launch and about 3 weeks later i lost all sound clicks from text's, game apps, youtube wouldn't play any videos and it worked perfectly fine when i went to bed wake up in the morning to this.  I rebooted the phone and this resolved the issue, the phone was not in silent mode via settings or via the slider at the top of the phone.  the phone would be working fine for about 3 weeks then this would happen again same issues as above this went on till about the 14th December and Apple decided to change my phone now its happening again.  I am at a lose end does anybody know a fix or heard of this before as i am sure this problem could not happen too 2 different phones ?  Thanks

Can I trade in my 4s with Apple Care

Lately I've been having probelms with my iPhone 4s. I bought it in July of last year. The problems include: my lock button is jambed, the phone thinks that I have headphones in when I don't, and applications such as Camera and Safari constantly crash. The screen also does not always respond when I touch it and it does not ring or vibrate when I recieve calls sometimes (I did check to see if my ringer was on, along with vibrating in Sounds under Settings). I have Apple Care+. Can I trade it in for a refurbished phone? Also, for an extra fee would I be able to trade it in for a refurbished iPhone 5?

My iPhone 5 freezes EVERY time I try to open contact or addedit contact and freezes up pretty much on everything I .

My iPhone 5 operates at about the speed of dial-up internet.  Every time I try to do something I have to wait. My harddrive is not even close to being full and I always close out of my programs so I am confused.  It is mainly a problem with contacts (adding, editing, viewing, anything). I also occasionally hardware reset (power and home button same time) to try and help but to no avail. Is this an Apple issue that a trip to the Apple Store will take care of?  I am just sick and tired of having upgraded to an iphone 5 only to step backwards in speed and performance, plus switching over deleted over half of my contacts even though I had icloud set up on my 4 and also on my 5 so it should have been seamless.  Is my phone a lemon?

Backup Issues Deleting Other Files iPhone 4S

I recently replaced my iphone screen and afterwards I discovered that my camera roll had crashed. With it, I lost all of my pictures and videos. Luckily, I recovered them from a program that I had downloaded. However, the storage that used to take up my photos and videos on my phone had transfered to the "other" section on itunes. Is the only way to remove/decrease the storage of the "other" file by restoring your iphone? I don't want to restore my iphone because I am also having issues with backing up my phone. Whenever I try to back it up on itunes, it says "the backup was corrupt or not compatable with the iphone". My phone has never been backed up because of this issue, so if I were to restore my phone then all off my files would be deleted. I have tried reseting my phone, but the "other" section is unchanged. Is there anyway I can delete the corrupt files on my phone? I have tried removing all pictures, videos, apps, and music in an attempt to discover the source of the corrupt files but I haven't found them. Also, if I was to "restore backup" with my iphone from my ipad, would that mean losing my messages?

Camera problem with iPhone 5

I purchased my iPhone 5 in January 2013 in India. For past couple of months, my phone camera dies frequently. The first time it happenned, I update the phone with iOS 6.1.3 and it started working. Next time when Camera was not working then I reset the phone and it started working, Now, I have the same problem, when I open the camera, shutter does not open and I am not able to click any picture. Does anyone has a similar problem with their iPhone 5? Take your time to write a thoughtful comment on a video, hit send, and it's gone, "youtube is not available". It happens frequently on the iphone app yet never happens on the desktop site. this bug has followed the youtube app across multiple phones (OG & 3G), multiple OS updates, and still happens randomly. Not having a feature is better than one that frequently doesn't work, and frustrates, as well as wastes your time...I'm so ready to checkout the latest from HTC  I copied this question from an archived thread from 2009. I'm having the same issue. I comment on youtube a couple of times and it's fine, the third time it completely blocks me. It's very frustrating. Looking at the replies from 4 years ago it seems that its definitely the app that has the issue, not the main website. Something to do with capture was the solution last time. Why do I have this issue now, does anyone else have this problem?iPad 3' iphone4sPlease sort it out, it's getting hard to defend iPhone these days!

Water damage to screen but phone working iPhone 4S

I got a small amount of water in my iphone, at first i thought it was ok but after about half hour the water had spread through my screen, and it started going blotchy and cloudy. The touch screen still works, speakers, charger, camera etc. Only thing is phone wont turn off? I tried the rice for a few hours but didnt do much. Does the apple warrenty cover water damage if not how do i get this repaired?

Crashing and screen flickering problems. iPhone 4

I too have had the "flickering/flashing" screen problem...I received my first iPhone 4 on release day (6/24); had no display issues until 3 days later, on 6/27. First occurred while on call in car; phone continued to work but display was black; had to do the two-button "hard restart" method to reboot phone. I was away on vacation for a week (not near an Apple Store), and phone continued to have this issue at least once/day. It could be on any screen or app...had it occur on calendar, a game, the home screen, etc. It would begin flashing ~8 times, then go to a "lit up black" (not off but slightly and evenly lit up black). Sometimes it would be 75% black, w/ a whiter "band" across the top 25% of the display.I discovered that sometimes if I quickly hit the button on top while it was still flashing, I could "save it."I have videoed this (using my 3GS phone...now my wife's) a few times, and it also did it at the Genius Bar at my local Apple Store last Friday (7/9) when I returned it. They saw it in-person, and watched one of my videos, and promptly gave me a replacement phone.However, the NEXT day, 7/10, my replacement iPhone 4 has started to do a similar thing...no "flashing/flickering", just goes to the "lighter black" screen. First occurred when trying to open the calendar. I contacted Tech support and spoke to someone at Apple for ~1 hour, who said there have been NO reported display issues from others, and thought it perhaps was due to a corrupt "Restore from backup" file. She suggested that I do a regular restore (not from backup), but I have hesitated to do so yet, instead looking/waiting to see if others have had this issue, as I don't want to lose contact, texting & calendar info.She also said it was not good to perform the "hard restart" (two button) function very much... I eventually have tried the "slide to power off" across the top of the black screen, and phone turned off and could restart with just the single (upper) button. So the phone is ON...just display isn't...I am an AVID iPhone user (have had the 2G, 3GS and now 4 model) for 2 1/2 years, and this won't make me "switch"...I just want it FIXED..!

Multiple problems including broken screen unsure of what to iPhone 5

I have an iPhone 5 still within the 1 year warranty. It has a small crack on the top right of the phone, which doesn't have any effect on the screen or touch capabilities. However, the phone also has a faulty camera and lock button. What I am wondering is, does the fact that the screen is cracked affect the ability to get a warranty replacement for the other two problems? Thanks!

I'm planning on buying the iphone 5 because I have an upgrade available. I have never owned an iphone before, but I do have an 2gn ipod which has 8 gbs and has 2 apps and have used 5.5 of my 6.84 gbs available with songs(1175 songs). I have also have 30 photos, and have 1.5 gbs left to fill. If I do get the iphone 5 I will not put music on it, because I have my ipod. I would like to have a lot of apps though, because I like to test them out, and give reviews on them. I have a fair amount of photos in my current phone(around 400), but the camera quality is not that good, and I think because the iphone 5 have a lot more gbs than my current one that I will want to take more than I usually do(although I would probably upload them onto my computer and delete the originals off my phone). I don't have that many contacts and I have a tablet where I play my games and movies on, so that is not an issue. I know this is a bit long but I really want to make the right choice because I plan on having this phone until my next upgrade which is in 2 years. I want to know if 16gbs should be enough or if should I go with the 32gbs? OR if I should just wait for the newer version to come out, and if this is worth to buy. I would also would like to know what the perks and downsides are too. Thank you for your patience and time.

I just bought my iphone 5 one month ago then i realise my camera was not functioning, It always stuck in black screen when i try open the camera apps. I found out there are actually many people who bought iphone 5 suffered this problem when i try to look for resolution online. I want to go for warranty but my phone got dent on it's appearance. Therefore, apple told me that my phone was unable to warranty. However, my purpose to warranty is to fix the camera instead of the dent on my phone. Can apple fix my camera problem? I really feel sad and regret for purchase the phone now because of the problem i am facing now.  Hopefully apple can give me a satisfied answer. Have G4, downloaded photos and videos to Windows 7 Ultimate PC.  Photos and videos showed up in an ipod Photo Cache file with a Photo Database and .ithmb files.  I am looking for a "reliable" .ithmb converter to jpg, and likewise for the video format. TY:)

iPhone images won t restore after phone reset

Hi, I am hoping someone can help me as my wife's iPhone completely froze up after synching with the latest version of iTunes. In the end, the only thing she could do was re-set the iPhone, thereby of course losing everything. Reconnecting to her laptop restored music and most apps, it seems she has to re-download the other apps again direct to the phone. Now the problem is images. There is an ipod cache directory on the laptop Pictures directory, and in this are folders labelled F00, F01 etc.. and a "Photo Database" file. In each of the Fnn directories is a series of files, called Txxx.ithmb, each of which is about 1,500KB. Doing a backup from the laptop indicates there are about 2900 files overall.Altogether there is about 3GB in this folder, so it looks to be a lot of space.  Pointing iTunes to the directory containing all this and synching, still results in zero images being found. She went to the local Apple store for help, to be told these are not the images, but then elsewhere I have read that these are the full files, and this proprietary format contains three different resolution images. If the images taken on the iPhone are not here, where are they? Finally, how on earth do we convince iTunes to recognize these files and imporrt them again? Sorry to be thick but losing everything thanks to the latest iTunes was rather catastrophic! Any help/ideas/suggestions greatfully received... The photo files were a mix of photos taken on the iPhone and images previously uploaded from the laptop. Cheers Chipontheroad

Desperate- way to extract location history of my iphone where I have been

Please help- its my understanding that iphone stores where you have been (location history). when I was searching the Internet to see if I could access this info, I found Pete wardens iphone tracker download (I think it came out in April 2011), but then I read that apple fixed this problem of storing this info on your computer too, by releasing a software update shortly after. Is that correct? If I backup my iphone to computer will it have a file on there that stores the history of where I and my iphone have been? Or is this no longer the case? I desperately need a log with time stamps, I need to prove where I have been in the last week (marriage problems). If iphone only keeps this info on the phone now, can I access it somehow?Thanks for your help-Alisha

touch Screen Insensitivity iPhone 5

Is anyone having issues with a lack of sensitivity  of iPhone 5 screen. I am having to touch items several times to select or scroll the screen, when it does scroll it "jumps" to catch up making it hard to operate smoothly. I Also notice that the screen appears to have shifted up slightly cutting off top of wi-fi and battery symbols. These symptoms don't always happen and I cant be sure I can show them to a Genius. this my 4th iphone, so my expectations are only what I have experienced with the others.

Two reasons why I would not by an iPhone again

Hi all, yesterday I had two requirements from my iPhone 4 and none of them was fulfilled, so I decided that this is my last Apple device. If any of you can change my mind, go ahead a try. 1st, I wanted to copy a file (pdf) from my local drive at home and then open it in ezPDF Reader. So I used NetPortalLite to access my drive and downloaded the file inside the NetPortalLite. But when I wanted to move the file to ezPDF app it didn't let. Why it is so complicated to move files between apps? I have tried to copy in NetPortalLite, then paste in ezPDF Reader... it didn't work! 2nd, I wanted to access my local drive at home to run a video file. this function is available only in paid apps, although other mobile OS have this ability. Why it is not possible to browse local drives directly from the iOS or Safari? Is it so hard to implement this function to the iOS and make it available by SMB://IP_ADDRESS or \IP_ADDRESS? Thanks

Brand New iPhone 5 Terrible Battery Life

I recently purchased an iPhone 5 (Monday, May 6th) and am convinced that the battery is defective. Is anyone experiencing similar issues with their battery? Does the usage information above look normal? Any suggestions and/or tips on what I can do? I'm so upset with both Apple & AT&T right now. The AT&T rep even suggested that I "turn off cellular data" to save the battery life. REALLY? I feel like I basically just purchased an ipod touch for $240!

poor signal reception on iphone iPhone 5

my iphone 5 often losses its network signal. i am islanded from the network often. this affects my connectivity with my business & friends. with this problem my iPhone 5 is working like only an ipod. certainly iPhone 5 is not meeting the purpose of a mobile phone.  can anyone suggest me some solution for this issue..? Regards,Arunkumar

How come it takes longer to download iTunes youtube and other apps on my WiFi. Shouldn t it be faster iPhone 3G

I was downloading songs from iTunes with my wifi and noticed that it would take up to 16 minutes to download ONE song. As with 3G, it downloads more than one song 5x faster. But uses up my data. Can you tell me what I can do to change this...
