I recently got the iphone 5 from tmobile. It's my first iphone and I've been enjoying the features very much. The only problem I've noticed, and it's rather annoying, is a 4-5 second speech delay. I called tmobile and had them send me a new one, hoping this was simply a defect of the particular phone. But I've just set up my new iphone  and it has the same problem. I've spoken to numerous people on Verizon, tmobile, Sprint, AT&T, and landlines and have experienced this problem with each conversation. I have done this is different areas of my home as well as different areas around town with the same results.I've had many of them repeat words or phrases after I've finished speaking and the delay is always 4 or 5 seconds. Because of this, conversation is difficult. There is a lot of speaking at the same time due to this delay and I find it very frustrating. Before I call tmobile about this phone, I wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced this issue. Is it a tmobile problem or an iphone problem.

Hi everyone! I have an iphone 5 that was newly "remodeled" for tmobile. I was wondering if there was something wrong with my battery after a recent decline in performance. I am updated to the latest iOS and I recently restored all of my settings on my phone in an attempt to increase battery performance, leaving only wifi on location for weather. With my current usage and standby, do I have something to be concerned about? I know some individuals that have my usage and will have a standby time of over a day. Advice and opinions is very much appreciated.

I contacted Orange UK and they said that this iPhone4 is ready to be unlocked, but they can't unlock the phone  because I am not the original contract owner. I bought a full price Unlocked iphone 5 from Apple back in January to use on Straight Talk. I had some issues with data on Straight Talk not being reliable and I had to keep turning data off and on again to get a connection. Now that tmobile is supporting the iphone at the same price as Straight Talk I figured i'd give them a try - after all that's what having an unlocked phone with no contrat is all about right? I'm a free agent. So i signed up however i don't get 3G anyhere, and my 4G coverage is spotty (talking HSPA+ 4G not LTE). This is because my $599 unlocked phone doesn't have AWS support.  My question is why won't Apple release an update that will allow my identical hardware to work the way the one would if i bought it from tmobile? It's the same A1428 Model, the ony difference is the software.  I really don't have to have to sell my older A1428 to buy a new A1428 from tmobile just to get it to work when it should have anyway.  Can someone respond as to what Apple plans to do about this? Thanks,Andrew

I know the straight talk iphone 5 is using Verizon's tower which is CDMA, but I also heard it can but use for any GSM sim card such as T-mobile and ATT. I just went to walmart and brought an straight talk iphone 5, but i have not open yet. On the back of the box it says the phone is model A1429, so I am really wondering if the straight talk iphone is GSM A1429 or CDMA A1429. I have an iphone 4 GSM unlocked using straight talk sim card. It works just fine, but is a bit slower compare to straight talk CDMA. I know the straight talk does not support LET, but if the straight talk iphone is GSM A1429 using CDMA 3G netwrok, I can switch to tmobile LET 4G network when I move. Does anybody know?

Okay, here's my situation.  I was recently given a iphone 3GS that I was thinking of using an iPod touch (i.e. no cellular data -- just wifi).  My car, an Audi A6, has iphone/iPod integration as well as a built-in WiFi hotspot (using a tmobile SIM built in to the car).  I have a long commute so I listen to a lot of podcasts.  I thought it would be cool if I could subscribe to x number of podcasts and have them automatically download/udate without having to touch the 3GS -- just do all the controlling via the car's interface.  The problem it doesn't seem like podcasts are downloaded to the "Podcast" directory in the phone anymore (thank you iOS 6 and Apple's Podcast app).  Since my car's interface will only stay in the "Music" directory, is there anyway to automatically get podcasts into that directory so I control them using the car's interface?  3rd party app perhaps?  Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hello. I am trying to unlock a phone for someone using their new Simple Mobile carrier. I read online that Simple Mobile uses tmobile towers, so the iphone can work if it is unlocked. I have also unlocked my own iphone for tmobile, so I know this is true. The iphone is unlocked, but it keeps forcing me to activate it when I put in the new sim card.When I try to activate it, it says that the simcard is not supported.when I insert the old at&t sim, it can activate, but the sim is a fake, its not a working card, so I am baffled. Once its "activated" with the old sim, I try to switch them, but it will always force the activation screen on me when I use the simple mobile card. -I have tried restoring the iphone-I have tried hard restarting the iphone. I did this before on my 4 on tmobile with no problems.So Im just doing the same thing I did then. Does anyone know how or have any tips for activating the iphone using an unsupported sim?

This iphone5 has a bad battery life. Appalling reception quality, and I've checked with other owners across O2, Orange, tmobile and Vodafone and the same problems exist. The phone just cuts out in the middle of a call even when showing full reception. Also the phone casing heats up very quickly. Are Apple actually going to do something about this iphone5 or have they given up? They are likely to take Microsoft's crown when it comes to releasing unprepared and not fully tested products to market! Very very very disappointed and frustrated!

Unlocking Telus iphone

I contacted Telus and they have sent Apple a request to unlock my iphone 4. They told me I had to sync it with itunes and that is where I am confused. I went through what I thought was the process to sync it but never did get a message saying the phone is unlocked. I took the phone and sim card to tmobile today and it isn't unlocked. Anyone have an idea which step I may have missed? I did a restore after an update, etc. I am not very 'techie'. Am connecting the phone with USB to my MacBook and am online. Very frustrating and could really use help!

I am an infrequent cell phone user. I currently have a Verizon paygo account with a $300 balance. I would like to get an Iphone5 and am willing to pay "full price" for the phone. Alas, VZ doesn't offer paygo for the iphone but tmobile does. I realize I could just buy an unlocked Iphone5 and use it on Tmob but I hate leaving the $300 at VZ. Sounds like the Verizon CDMA Iphone5 has also has support for GSM. So, I am wondering if the following might work: - buy the iphone5 at verizon and sign a 2 year contract ($199).- use up my $300 credit over a few months ($80 per month)- terminate the contract and pay the $350 fee (still cheaper than full priced unlock)- take the phoneover to tmobile and insert their nano sim into the "unlocked" GSM slot- sign up for their cheapest plan and live happily & cheaply ever after ... I would appreciate thoughts and comments from those of you who know much more about this sort of stuff. Thanks.

iphone 4S overheating on iOS 6.0.1.

I've had my iphone for approx 2-3 days now and whe I got it, I installed iOS 6.0.1. immediately, everything was fine, my battery life is quite good when not using 3G but WiFi instead. However, after a day of having the iphone 4S, in the evening I went onto my camera and took a picture, my screen went black and RGB lines went through it and flickered back onto normal screen again. I've noticed it's becoming increasingly hot when I'm only running 2 apps (cos i force shut down apps by double clicking home) last night it actually burnt my hand, like a scold. i couldn't touch it because it just overheated so much it was too hot to touch. I don't know whether to go back to tmobile where I got the phone from or go into an Apple shop. My mother even says that I need to send it off. But I've been reading forum topics about it and apparently it's been happening to alot of people with 4/4S on iOS 6.

Mám zaplá mobilní data a i když nejdu na facebook, vypla jsem počasí, icloud, polohování, teoreticky úplně vše, stejně mi data mizí, i když teď už jen trochu, ale tak za hodinu to udělá toho 0,4MB. Ale mít iphone bez dat, to mě teda nebaví, jenže s takovou to žere obrovsky. Když jsem měla počasí a icloud zaplý a nic jsem nedělala, za hodinu mi to natahalo 1MB - ano emaily ani iMessage.Je nějaké řešení kde jde vidět ke které app ta data jdou? Nebo jak se dá fungovat s daty a přitom nemít neomezený tarif na data?když jsem začínala a šla jsem na fb tak během minuty mi to vzalo 3MB, dá se to nějak omezit? My factory unlocked iphone 4S on T-Mobile cant receive Emoji icons from an ATT iphone. Instead I see a bunch of weird symbols, but the ATT iphone can receive emoji's from my phone. Also some of my friends have a verizon iphone and I can receive their Emoji icons, and they can receive mine. At one point I was able to receive emoji icons from ATT iPhones. Is this a problem on ATT's network or T-Mobile's ? any help would be greatly appreciated !
