How it get phone back on iPhone 5

My phone was low on charge but not on red.  I put it on to charge and a few minutes looked at the phone and it had gone dead. Now it won't switch back on.  Any ideas  what i can do to get my phone back.  I've only had this phone a couple of weeks?

I'm in desperate need of help and this is my first time posting on the forums. I got my iphone 5 replaced by sprint due to a few dead pixels that became very noticable. I backed up all my info to iCloud. Now, when I'm trying to restore my replacement, I'm not allowed to. I'll click restore from iCloud and enter my user name and password and it works just fine. It restores, and half way installs all my apps and then says that its unable to finish. It says my iCloud password is wrong. The problem is, I must've backed up iCloud to my old Apple ID username and it's not letting me change it! I tried to explain it the best I could. Thanks in advance.

iPhone stopped charging

Everytime I need to charge my iPhone 4, I plug it into my computer and it charges. But today it just won't. It keeps showing a message saying charging isn't supported and the computer acts like I'm unplugging and plugging the phone back in. The cord seems fine, I just have no clue why it's doing this. Why my iPhone 5 speakers continuously click even while phone inactive

I purchased my iPhone 5 in January 2013, In the past week, (5-25-13) my iPhone spearkers will randomly start to continuosly click. I have tried to put the phone in airplane mode, shut down all apps, and tried a software restore and I still occasionally get the random continuous clicking through my speakers and headphones. Does anyone know what this is? Is the phone defective? Any advice you have would be great.

Hello everyone, I bought an iPhone 5 (a14r9) from an Apple Store in Germany in September 2012. My problem is that: My iPhone's start/wake (power) button start not working since last two weeks, actually left side of the power button continued working a couple of days but yesterday it became fully broken. It does not react when I push on it. Suprisingly there were no problem with the device, no contact with water, no damage, just nothing.. and it is not working. I live in Turkey and I don't have the opportunity to give my phone to Apple, because there is not an Apple Store in Turkey, currently. But I travel a lot, what I wonder is Can I take my phone to any Apple store in any country? I mean my phone's 1 year coverage still continued. It has come to my attention the there is more space that is being taken up on my phone by "other" than the amount of space that I'm actually using. It is taking 6.01 GB of my space and I'm getting sick and tired of having my phone tell me I don't have enough space when I try to take a picture or video. I have tried to restore my phone quite a few times and iTunes will not let me restore. Everything on my computer is up to date, it won't restore when I put it in recovery mode and it just won't let me restore. I have backed up my phone and when I finish, I click restore and every single time I get an error. There is no number that comes with the error. iphone 5 and backing up corrupt

I'm trying to back up my iPhone to my computer, and I'm getting the message"iTunes could not back up the iPhone [my_name] because the backup was corrupt or not compatible with the iPhone"  I sorta know how it happened.  I lost a hard disk, but kept a current backup of my entire iTunes library on another drive (because I've lost drives before) and when I replaced it, itunes worked again, except for this...  Anyhow, I've googled this problem, and found a solution; in Device Preferences > Devices, delete any backups that appear, and then try again.  But... The box is empty.  There are no backups listed.  I used to have one, I know I did.When I try to back up again, thinking it would create a Device Backup, I get the error. I'm not interested in recovering anything from the backup, as I have original on the phone, as well as the current library. I just need to delete something in the iTunes folder in order to clear this problem, but I don't know what.  (I'm an advanced user, I can handle it.)  Help! thanks

Headphone output problems iPhone 5

My headphone output just went crazy. The phone restarted when I plugged in the headset and when it came back on it started distorting all the music. It also make a noise which stops about 10 seconds after I stop playing the music. I tried restarting the phone and also installed the latest software update. For me it doesnt seem like a hardware-problem. It's more like a bug in the audio-driver.. Anyone know anything about this?

Facebook App not connecting with other apps. Help iPhone 5

I recently changed my apple I.D. to a different e-mail address because the one I had was hacked. I recently went to the Apple Store because my iCloud wasn't connecting and backing up my other stuff. So, they deleted the account and connected me to the account under my new e-mail. Everything is working fine. All of my stuff is still the same and nothing has changed. However, my Facebook app isn't working when I try to connect it to other apps such as Pinterest, Twitter, and Vine. When I go to my settings, and then to Facebook, it says "There was a problem accessing your account. Please reenter the password:". I have tried to enter my password multiple times and it doesn't work. I have tried my old password too, and still nothing. I changed my Facebook e-mail and password after my e-mail got hacked. I changed my Facebook e-mail when my e-mail got hacked, and I also changed my password. So, does anyone know what to do? I'm getting very frustrated.  Thanks, Jackie

Strange noise by iPhone 5 when shaking

Hey! I've just bought an iPhone5 and started to use it today. After activting and having the first look at it, I came to realize that it gives a really strange noise when I gently shake it. It sounds as if something would not be properly fixed inside the phone. The sound comes from the top of the phone (around the camera part). Im wondering whether anyone else had the same issue with their iPhone5, bacause I have not experienced anything like this with my two previos iPhones. What can cause this sound? Should I just take it back and let them replace it?! Thanks in advance!

iPhone 4S continuously shows low load balance notification

It all started when I took some pictures today, then after couple of photos, the Camera app crashes. Tried to open up the camera app again and attempted to take some photos but it crashes immediately again. Couple of seconds later I get this notification. Lots of it. Next thing I did is to hard restart my iPhone but although the notification appears again even though I don't take pictures now. It seems for me that this issue isn't influenced by the camera at all but more on iOS issue. From then on I keep getting this notification to the point whenever I wake my iPhone, I keep pressing the DISMISS button. This is really annoying and frustrating as it attempts to consume my load. For additional info:iPhone 4S 32GBiOS 6.1.3Not jailbrokeniPhone is not set for any 3G/data subscription, whatsoever. Complete battery failure iPhone 4S

On Friday of last week my iPhone 4S began to rapidly lose it's charge.  By this I mean from 100% to 65% by 9:30 am, and completely dead by 2:30 in the afternoon.  I turned off my location services and "killed" all the apps running and it did not change my rapid depletion.  This morning I noticed my phone was warm to the touch and when I checked it my battery was down to 10% by 8:30 am and this was after having been at a 100% charge at 07:00 am.  I turned my phone off completely at 8:30 and when I went to turn it back on I got no response, not even the picture of the battery that indicates it needs to be charged.  So when I finished my work shift at 3:30 I put my phone on the charger and it has still yet to turn back on.  Has any body heard or had an issue with this?

Iphone 4S keeps disconnecting WIFI frequently when in use

    My iphone suddenly began disconnecting frequently from my Access point like every 4 seconds, maybe every minute. it just disconnects randamly,i have had this issue for two days now . I restored my iphone to IOS 6.1.3 and yet the issue is still preserved , so i reset my router and my access point to their default setting and still the WIFI keeps on disconnecting. I even tested my IPhone to connect to my Uncle's wifi access point and still it disconnects from it frequently.My Iphone has never suffered any damage. it has never fallen on the ground and not even scratched.The disconnection here is not that the iphone disconnects from the wifi when i lock the phone but it's worse it disconnects when the phone is in use even if I am downloading something from the app store or streaming a video on youtube and then it will automatically reconnect again which is pretty annoying especially if i am using a VOIP service .i tried everything now and seems nothing helps. Is this a Hardware or a software problem ?, i would be glad to hear from other users that i am not the only one affected by it. I live in Egypt, is there Apple Support in here ?, Any suggestions will Greatly help me .

And now the shutter won't open and I can not switch from front facing camera to the rear camera. The buttons (auto,options) do not work either. I tried resetting the settings, restarting my phone, nothing has changed... I am thinking it's a hardware problem, and I do have apple care. Has this happened to anyone else? iphone app updates frozen in waiting-what to try next

Hi, I tried to update 3 apps on iPhone 5 about a week ago. They got 'stuck' while updating, and now are permanently frozen showing a greyed out icon, and saying the status as 'installing.'  I have tried everything and need more suggestions.This is what I have tried:Restoring - no changeLogging off iTunes account, pressing home and lock button til apple icon appears, then logging back in - this changes the status to 'waiting' but it's still frozenHolding down icon to delete - it doesn't have cross above these 3 affected appsGone into -> General -> Usage -> then selected each affected app and Deleted them - no changePlugged into PC and synced, then tried removing apps and installing again - the icons aren't removed when I remove, but when I install them again, it does kickstart the icon to change to 'loading', but then it returns to 'installing' and is still frozenAdding a new app/ installing updates for other apps to check to see if iTunes account works - yes they added/ updated fineCalling Apple tech support. The guy was really nice and helpful, but his advice didn't work (as above.)  He told me to contact the iTunes account support, and ask them to delete the apps from my purchase history and then try re-installing themContacting the ITunes account support - they emailed me back, and advised me that they checked my download queue and "updates of these three apps are not there." (?) So they gave me the advice to do as above. He also sent me to this link: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1702 which at the last step says "If you continue to experience the issue, contact the developer of the application for further assistance."  Now, my issue is: How the heck do I contact the developer, and will this help, when it seems to clearly be an iPhone problem? Should I give up and take the phone into an Apple store? Any other suggestions will help.  Cheers.

Sleepwake button iPhone 5

Hello, i purchased my iphone 5 about three months ago. I keep it in tip top shape with a top of the line case. Just yesterday my sleep/wake button quit working. It will push down but nothing happens when i do so. Apple's troubleshooting said to turn my phone off then on or to try restarting it. However, I can't do either of these things because the button doesnt work! Do i really have to go all the way to the apple store to get it fixed? And if so will they replace it for free? Thenk you!

I just got the iPhone 5 last month. I did an OS upgrade not too long ago. My phone seems to be draining very quickly. Twice I thought it was because some how, a number was called and I thought the line may have stayed open a good long time. Now I don't know. iphone 4 randomly freezes-what hardware to swap

Good Afternoon, ive recently started up my own business fixing mobile phones - mostly cracked screens and chassis replacements. Just recently i thought id got a bargain on ebay regarding an iphone 4. It was described as working correctly, can make / receive calls and send texts etc but randomly locks up. Ive got the phone today, unfortunately its locked to the 3 network so ive got a micro sim on the way so I cant actually proceed further at this point.  Although it did crash once on me when i tried to select language's etc - had to hold the home and power button down until it turned off. Ive read on the forums that this is a common fault, and can occur to any iphone - faulty or otherwise.  And the main concensus seems to be to take it back to the store for a swap. My main question is - seeing how im likely to come across this fault again - is the fault software or hardware related? If its hardware related what circuit board is likely to be the culprit?  If we could identify the problem then im sure I could just order the required part on ebay. The fact that apple havent recalled the iphone and that they will accept these faulty iphone's back and swap for new suggests to me its an easy fix - its just easier for the technicians to go in the store room and get a brand new one. Secondly ive just got another iphone 4 white - bought cheap as its totally dead.  Tried a new battery and still nothing.  Got a new dock / charging connector on the way - is it likely to be this at fault?  Doesnt seem to be any sign of water damage, and it wasnt described as this on the ebay page. When id swapped the new battery over i tried to charge the phone ( to see if id fixed it ) and it got extremely hot - so i disconnected right away and left it to cool off. Whats likely to be the issue with that one? Thanks, and hope someone can help Adam

I was given an iphone 4s. This is the first time I use an iphone and I don't know the different while it was actually a jailbreak phone before. iphone 4 won't charge

Greetings, My i4 developed yet another problem in the series (previous issues concerned home button, power button and camera module)... Two nights ago, I had the phone plugged in the PC, in order to make backup, syncronize with iTunes, change music etc etc... It took around an hour, maybe hour and a half, and I was surprised to see that the battery (which was not even close to flat) reached only about 70%. Shortly after I unplugged the phone, the battery dropped to 50%. That night I forgot to plug it in again, and I spent the whole day yesterday saving the battery. Later that day, I got home and plugged it in immediately. 2 hours later, the battery was still on 14%. I left it "charging" for the whole night, just to find out that this morning, it was still on 14%. While checking emails and stuff, the indicator "jumped" to 16%, but then dropped to 10%. Now it shows 3% eventhough it's still connected to the computer. There is a battery indicator on the lock screen, which means that it doesn't refuse the charger, but somehow the battery refuses to be charged. The indicator in the upper right corner shows "plug in" symbol, as if it has been charged, not a "thunder" as if it's still charging. I tried cleaning both the dock connector and the cable, I tried different cables, I tried charging from the wall socket and from various PCs, but nothing seems to work. Everything else seems fine though. Battery dead and needs replacing, or is it something more "fruttier"? Thank you!
