Hello everyone, i have 2 queshtins for you: is it safe to give out my udid? I dont know the person so good, but he offerd to register my udid wich i really need registerd... so bottom line, can he do anything bad to memy phone knowing only my udid?If i let someone register my udid, how can i be sure he did register it? can i check it out somewhere? how to get iphone 5 udid in recovery mode
I am a developer, and have an iPhone 5 that I am trying to install the ios7 beta to. Being my first time doing this, I wasnt aware you would need the phone's udid # before doing this. My iPhone is in recovery mode, but it asking me to register the iPhone on my developer account. However, to do this, I need the phone's udid #... iTunes has it in recovery mode and won't show me it, I don't have the box, and the phone itself is in set up mode so it won't show me either! Am I stuck? PLEASE HELP! As of now, I have no idea of how to find it, I have googled a million times, and am exhausted and need to get my phone working. If anyone knows a work around, please tell me! i am activating my iphone3gs but it could not be activitaed beacause activation server is temporarily unavailable. Try connecting your iphone to itunes to activate it, or try again ia a couple of minutes. is there any conflict if i am using same apple id for my iphone4s and iphone3gs?
I have an iPhone 5 right now But wifi 't say active all time. It would be on for while then disconnect. My power button also doesn't work at times.Sometimes it wakes up screen but only when I press it on one side.
I was also wondering if I could take this to the apple store to get it fixed. If not get it replaced?
iPhone will not exit applications without delay
When an application is open and I try to exit it by pressing the Home button, nothing happens for about a minute. The app remains open and active, but pressing the Home button does nothing. Eventually, it will quit the app after 30s-1minute. It is not a mechanical issue as the problem is only intermittent. Other times, the apps quit fine. It's as if there is some kind of system "hang" while the app is open and exiting it takes time. Any answers? iPhone has plenty of storage space, problem happens with any app.
Facebook app CPU hog iPhone 3G
It seems Facebook.ipa app is the worst CPU hog! The iPhone 5's battery is drained rather quickly and the phone gets warm with just simple browsing. System monitoring apps report only 0-50% idle CPU time when Facebook is active while most other apps use considerable less resources. Using Facebook via Safari seems to behave better. Is this just the way it is? Are there any settings to fix this? thanks,

Hello Dear Sir/Madam, I want to ask a question about my broken iphone 5 screen. Unfortunately, I could not find a discussion title about that topic. The subject is that I want to change my broken iphone 5 with a new one paying $220 and giving back to you mine. And my question is what am I required to do that in any apple store in US. Could you give me the details about like do I need to give back my iphone as the way I bought it I mean with all iphone stuff like charger and headphone.. etc. And the additional and important question is here, I need an official paper written by Apple, which says that the old iphone is changed with the new one (indicating the IMEI numbers of both) to use it in my country legally, because I have already payed tax amount for the old one and I registered with the old one so to make the new one active.In my country,then legislations say that each person has a right to register only one mobile phone in 2 years; so I need to prove that the old one is given to back to your side. iPhone Battery Woes iPhone 5
I have an iPhone 5 and I love it. It can do so many great things, all except for one. The battery will lose about 20-30% charge when left idle for a while. For example: when I go to sleep at night, my charge is 50%. When I wake up, it is down to 31%. Is there a way to correct this issue besides closing all active apps?

iOS 6.1.4 Overheating High Battery Consumption iPhone 5
Having issues with iOS 6.1.4 heating up (in standby) and high battery consumption in standby. It's not consistant but I will, sporatically, notice my phone warming up, in my pocket, to pull it out, turn the screen on and then off again and it'll cool down.Battery consumption is also very high (worse than iOS 6.1 update issue) and is drained quickly. I've closed all active applications (but mail and calendar as I need for work) and still will occur.

my iphone 3gs had lower version of iOS and i wasnt able to download watsapp. during downloading its says update iOS 4.3 and i did connect my phone with iTunes. and i did fully update with 6.1.3 version.now I not able to activate my iphone3gs after updated to ios6.1.3. The message said the activation server is unavailable but it has been unavailable for more than 24hours. It's abnormal, please help. Viber Editing text hard to impossible-cursor jumps always to end iPhone 3G
Hi all, everytime I want to edit text I'm entering into the message box, I'm not able to do it, since the cursor always jumps to the end of the text.This makes it impossible to mark & copy some or all text, as well as rephrasing or correcting typos. The only 'workaround' I found is to keep the finger on the target position (and having the looking glass active) and then type one character (or delete on). I'm a little bit curious since my friend and me are experiencing that issue for a long time now though I found no reference on the net for it yet (except one to a wordpress app). It happens on a 3GS as well as on a 4, at least all 6.* versions of iOS, with the previous (2.3.1) as well as with the current Viber version (3.0.0).Also experienced on iPad (3rd gen, cellular edition) with 6.1.3 / 3.0.0 Any hints or tipps are very welcome! For some days I can't ear when make a call and also my voice can't be eared from other people: speaker and microphone are mute and iOS auto-activate speakerphone on out/ingoing calls. iPhone apps not opening-have tried all usual fixes
A few days ago I got my iPhone unlocked from my provider (Telstra) as I am about to travel and wanted to put a country specific sim in it. Since then no non-Apple apps have worked.I have tried (many times) to :- 1. restore from a previous backup (plus multiple syncs) and using different backups2. delete an app and reinstall it3. download a new free app (and when that didn't work I deleted it and retried installing it)4. sign in and out of the app store on the iphone5. sign in and out of the app store on my iMac6. de-authorise and re-authorise my iMac7. wipe the iPhone clean and start with a fresh install8. And reset the device too many times. Nothing I have found on any site has worked. I thought the wipe the phone clean would have done it but it hasn't.I have wasted about 20 hours trying to get this thing working again. If I wasn't going on vacation tomorrow I would be at my provider getting them to fix their mess but I can't. Can anyone help? Please? iPhone 4S (Apps are active - just won't stay open)

Hi, I ahve purchased my iPhone 4 in August 2011 and it fell down from my hand and since then I am not able to connect to Apple Server and active my iPhone. I went to all available Apple Techncial Support Centers here but now use. Scree, Camera and all other hardware are working but when I start my iPhone and connect with iTune to activate it says your iPhone is damaged. Now, I am going to visit Dallas, TX coming week, all Iwanted to know if Apple Genius bar will help me to repair this iPhone there or will they replace this iPhone after paying some bucks? If they would replace that then how much I mught have to pay them?

Hi, Yesterday I lost my iphone 5 which I bought 3 months back... I filled a police complaint, but i am not very hopeful with them. As Indian police will never make a move to find a cell phone. Anyways, Fortunately the "find my iphone" app was there in the phone and the location services were enabled with data. I tried to find it out from icloud.com portal but cell seems to be offline. And on calling the cell it is switched off. The only thing which I did not do in my iphone was to set a passcode. I am not sure how does the app behaves if some one restarts the phone. Is it possible for the thief to erase all data despite the app being active on the phone? Is it possible for the thief to use the phone by reseting it to factory setting without me getting location of the phone? I saw in one of the youtube tutorials that the phone will switch on and it ill try to find the data network, and if it finds data then it will send me intimation and blocks the cell. however, what is the scenario if the thief dont use the data and put on the phone? Or if he uses a SIM that does not have data connection? Can they reuse my phone. Can I do anything to prevent them using my iphone. I am trying to get my phone's IMEI number on tracking but dont know if it works before they reprogram my cell.( if at all they have so much brain). HELP Problem with iPhone 4 screen color Discoloration and Image Persistence
Hi guys! I had this problem about 3 months ago. I started having this when I took a screen shot of a game then suddenly after the flash, the colors changed.Yesterday it came back to normal for the first time but after several minutes, it went back to the distorted colos mode. Here are some pictures of the actual screen condition. You can see the problem here. The icons have a bit of a dark shade in their middle parts, but when I touch and select an icon, it shows their normal colors.*Look at the VIDEO ICON, PHOTO ICON and PHONE ICON.As you can see in this image, it's like on a thermal camera mode. LOL! it also has a large amount of image persistence in it. In this image, you can see that the lower part of the screen is missing (blackened) and has some image persistence too. You can also see the difference in color of the messages tab.Image color is different and has image persistence too. The colors are different and the screens bottom part is darkened. One thing I noticed here is that when the accesive touch button menu is active, the icons behind it get their normal colors back.*take a look a the APP STORE ICON, MAIL ICON, SAFARI ICON, CONTACTS ICON and PASSBOOK ICON Any help guys? Is there any software that can fix this or any method you know? iPhone 4s stuck in DFU Recovery
I have an iPhone 4s that stopped receiving signal (from O2) despite numerous reboots. The SIM (and provider) works in another 'phone. Therefore I decided to backup and restore the iPhone in case it was a software bug. However upon restore, it gets 3/4 of the way through and then iTunes reports that an unexpected error has occurred (-1) and the iPhone reboots back into recovery mode. Trying to restore to the new 6.1.3 and I have attempted to flash with a separate download of the .ipsw and also tried it on a different PC, both running iTunes 11.0.2.26. There is no antivirus or firewall active. I guess there could be an underlying hardware fault and not just software as I suspected? Any ideas what it might be? Nick

Since a couple of days I have a massive problem with my iphone 5 battery. The time of usage went down to 3-4 hours without doing anything with the phone. You can listen the downcount of the battery control. WiFi, Bluetooth, hotspot is in off-mode, email push in manual mode, LTE is active. The backside of the phone is quite warm in recharging-mode of the battery as well as in normal usage mode. I bought the phone in September 2012. Does anybody has an idea?

Hi! Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place, I'm pretty new to apple forums. Anyways, I was wondering if it was possible to enable text messages/imessages from particular contacts (or favorites, etc.) when do not disturb is active just like you can enable calls from favorites? In case someone needs to contact you in an emergency but can't call for some reason. And if not, are there any apps that could do this? I want to be able to sleep at night, but if family has to text me in an emergency I would like to be woken up. Thanks!
iPhone can't restore error-1 at last second with iPhone 4 GSM
Hi all. I've already tried asking this elsewhere, but haven't really had much luck with help other than "it has to be a hardware issue". So, here goes. Note: it is far out of the warranty date, plus it's physically damaged. I have an iPhone 4 (16, I think) that was working aside from cracks in the screen. I saw it working a few months ago and it was given to me (it hasn't been used since). When I turned it on, it showed the iTunes and usb cable (indicating it needed restoring) so I tried restoring it (invalid build error I think). I kept trying again and again but got the 16xx error a few times. I have tried two different computers, different OSs, (one that didn't even ever have itunes installed) and I keep getting the same -1 error at the very very end of the restore. Early on, I was able to get it to boot and get to a passcode screen but then it said the iPhone needs to be restored after I unlocked it. It's almost like it's restoring fine and then suddenly it doesn't verify at the end with apple's servers or something. My apartment's wifi goes through an isp with security of some sort, I'm sure. Could that be an issue? I feel like it almost restores it but then it fails right at the end. Here is one of the logs--this one is the latest -1 error. It is abridged since most of it wouldn't fit. Battery drained-in airplane mode iPhone 5
Hi all My iPhone 5 was on 65%. I closed all my apps and out it into airplane mode and when I woke up 8hrs later my phone battery had completely drained and had switched itself off. This has NEVER happened with any of my 3 models of iPhones and I am a bit concerned. All apps were closed. Airplane mode was active so no wifi or cellular connection Can anyone advise? Thanks.

I bought and iphone 5 from eBay UK, which was unlocked to UK networks only. the iphone wasn't activated. the iphone was bought from the carphone warehouse ltd. I couldn't use it in Malta so i bought a vodaphone UK sim card and worked. but now I think its locked to vodaphone UK as I still cant insert a Maltese sim card as it will take me back to active the iphone. can anyone tell me what I have to do to use it in Malta?

I updated my ios to 6.0.2 on my iphone 5 .. since then i noticed that once my screen goes off from auto lock, WiFi turns off too, as if it goes to sleep mode, is that normal ? and if it is, is there any way to keep it active even when screen is off? Thanks!
