I'm Iran, I could create an apple ID but it need credit card information which I don't have, what should i do??
iphone 5 / factory unlocked / USA purchase.. Whenever i compose a new message (SMS), i already have a text (one of the previous sms that i hv sent to someone) there in the message box. I have tried resending the same to myself and other numbers and it gets delivered aswell. But what is annoying is everytime i have to compose a new message and click on icon on top right corner in message app to create a new sms// i have the text alrdy in my typing box and have to select all and delete it. And when i click on any previous conversations with my contacts and reply them this problem does not exist. This is only when i click new message compose icon or have to start a new conversation with someone. To me it seems as if some kinda signature is added in SMS but i couldnt find any option for the same. Please advice !!

Hi, I am hoping someone can help me as my wife's iphone completely froze up after synching with the latest version of iTunes. In the end, the only thing she could do was re-set the iphone, thereby of course losing everything. Reconnecting to her laptop restored music and most apps, it seems she has to re-download the other apps again direct to the phone. Now the problem is images. There is an ipod cache directory on the laptop Pictures directory, and in this are folders labelled F00, F01 etc.. and a "Photo Database" file. In each of the Fnn directories is a series of files, called Txxx.ithmb, each of which is about 1,500KB. Doing a backup from the laptop indicates there are about 2900 files overall.Altogether there is about 3GB in this folder, so it looks to be a lot of space. Pointing iTunes to the directory containing all this and synching, still results in zero images being found. She went to the local Apple store for help, to be told these are not the images, but then elsewhere I have read that these are the full files, and this proprietary format contains three different resolution images. If the images taken on the iphone are not here, where are they? Finally, how on earth do we convince iTunes to recognize these files and imporrt them again? Sorry to be thick but losing everything thanks to the latest iTunes was rather catastrophic! Any help/ideas/suggestions greatfully received... The photo files were a mix of photos taken on the iphone and images previously uploaded from the laptop. Cheers Chipontheroad
My iphone 4s has a bad operating system (confirmed at Apple Store) I was given a new device and we restored my settings, etc. from backup. I was warned that there was a possibility of the glitchy iOS being transferred to the new device. Well after a couple weeks, this proved true. Next step is to restore device as NEW. Before I attempt this, I would like to be as prepared as possible to avoid losing anything permanantly. I am looking for advice with this - since I won't be able to restore from a backup, will I need to create a new iCloud account? Can I remove previous backups from both iTunes and iCloud? Thanks in advance for any help! This has been an ongoing issue since I purchased the phone new in January and it's beyond frustrating!
Spyware is very easily accessible and requires nothing from the Apple store, and although I realize some of these posts are several years old-at this point, it is simply misinformation. All one needs is a similar program to the one in the link above and not only can your sms messages be accessed, your calls be intercepted and recorded, but the camera in your phone can be remotely accessed and activated at any given time without your knowledge. As you tap away on your handy little iphone you love so much, in whatever possibly "compromising" or embarrassing position you may be in at the time, a creeper can be looking you straight in your face or observing your enviornement at their leisure. Imagine the horror in finding out that you were sitting there on the toilet gaming and someone was watching you the whole time or better yet, while you were involved in an intimate interaction while your phone sat charging on a dock on the nightstand next to the bed? How about knowing that every incoming and outgoing communication is recorded and documented for the creep to scroll and read through like a book? This is some scary stuff, and it's been used on me via an encrypted picture message. I've done a full restore of my iphone and the pc used for backing up via iTunes to ensure that the spyware wasn't then rooted into the pc or the iTunes, and was even told to create an etirely new Apple ID, but aside from this and there being no true scanning software for malware, spyware or viruses for the iphone-how can I be sure that this encrypted software has truly been eradicated? Is there an antiviral program that I am unware of? I'm not looking for a secure AVG browser, I'm looking for a detect and destroy scanner program. <Link Edited by Host>
Hi, I just upgraded to IOS 6.1.4 this morning no issues Upgrade went well. Now My Email Push Notfication is not working. 1. Bussiness Gmail Account - Configured as Exchange2. hotmail Account - Configured as Exchange Both Account - Push is ON if some one send email i am not getting it. I have to manually open the Native Email client then i can see. Restarted the iphone Twice. Any one facing similar issue?
I've had my iphone since release date. Everything has been working great up until about a week ago. The phone has an amazing battery life, I guess an update fixed that for me. But now my iphone will reset itself out of no where 3-4 times a day at random times. The keyboard will get stuck on the screen after entering something and clicking done. Also the iphone will freeze (I've tried leaving it for as long as a half an hour) and be totally unresponsive. I usually have to use the sleep/wake button in combination with the home button just to reset the phone so it works. It also randomly drops and won't connect to my home wifi at all, I also have a iMac, MacBook Pro, iPad mini, iPad 3, iphone 3, 3GS, 4, 4S and all of these work flawless with zero problems on my wifi network. My warranty is out in September, but I'm worried about going to an apple genius and having them ask me to re create the problem. What if it doesn't happen at that time? What can I do?
So I had to totally re create a new apple account and Id because I bought something off one of my apps with a prepaid credit card and when I would o to update it would ask for my billing information an I just got past not having to put a credit card but it is using my old apple id to update stuff I don't understand
I am new to iphone but have used this built-in app before with no problems. Now the + button has disappeared from top RH corner and I therefore cannot create any reminders. Can choose any day from the 7 day calendar showing at bottom of screen but still cannot enter any text on any day. Can select List view but cannot do anything there either (only 'Done' to return to main screen). I know that I cannot delete this built-in app but how do I 'refresh' it so that it can be used? Must I reset apps to their original locations? Thanks.
I have found a lot of app fro locking pictures and files, contacts, etc, Is there a way of locking down a folder that contains apps? Say i don't want someone opening my facebook app or other apps I have. Any help is appreciated.
I googled to no end, searched Apple support forums endlessly and you know what? Not a single simple answer can seem to be given without being redirected to something that simply does not answer THIS very specific question. Is it, or is it not possible to quickly transfer photos DIRECTLY *FROM* and *INTO* the Camera Roll WITHOUT iTunes or iPhoto? Simple question yes? lol. NOPE. Reason why I ask can be simply described in short: iTunes 11.0.2, running iphone iOS 6.1; Clicking "Photos" from my iphone via iTunes, gives me ONE single option; "Sync photos from". Tried keeping it real simple. Make a folder on the desktop called iphone Photos just for quickly transfering photos back and forth and chose to synch from that. 18 photos to test. Just crap from the internet. Nothing major. Know what it does? For one, it takes 3 minutes or so to sync 18 whole photos, which is stupid but whatever. But here's the BEST part, none get sent to my Camera Roll, oh no, it makes TWO entirely new folders under it in my iphone. One being the one I made on my desktop, and the other is called Photo Library, and get this, BOTH of these have the same 18 pictures lmao. Yup. Why? Oh who cares at this point. I really just do not care. Apple. All that needs to be said. And as for iPhoto. It's just an unnecessary useless program I have no intentions of ever needing. Why? I keep a crap load of various types of photos in organized folders in my Finder, and iPhoto likes making sure it takes 3x longer to do that. It really just does. Now back on point. What happened to the good old friggin days when all you had to do was DRAG AND DROP?!?!?! I legitimately am getting cancer from pondering this question. Is there not a way to simply drag from Camera Roll somehow to the iMac, like say a specified folder. And Vice Versa from the iMac straight to Camera Roll? A nice workaround to get FROM Camera Roll TO iMac specified folder is "Image Capture" which does exactly just THAT. Quickly and painlessly transfer STRAIGHT FROM AND TO wherever. This is ridiculous. At this point, I'd pay 50 bucks for a simple app to quickly drag and drop from and to Camera Roll and bam. Done. Sorry for the book, but this is getting ******** trying to get an answer to this and thought I would deem it necessary to be as descriptive as humanly possible. Looking for simple answers if possible, but at least descriptive. Thanks.
Anybody knows how can I create an event on my iphone 5 calendar and set it torepeat every 3 months?
When i deleted my friends old number, i deleted her contact all together and created a new contact with her new number. Now when i go to create a text when i type in her name it brings up both numbers and i cant seem to permanently delete the old number from that list. But when i check contacts there is only one number there which is her new one i saved.
Since the ios6.0 update, deleted contacts can't be deleted from the new message case. It is amazing that more people are not aware of the problem and are speaking out about it. As a professor, I have new students whose contacts I input into my iphone each semester after sending a text mail the contact cannot be deleted from the "new message" cashe. It can be deleted from contacts but remains in the cashe. The only way to delete the cashe is a full restore. Resetting does not even work. Restoring is a horrible way to delete contacts permanently. I have contacted Apple repeatedly. They are aware of the problem but do not seem to be concerned. With each update, I expect the bug to be fixed. I hope to get the attention of Samsung with this. I know they could create another embarrassing ad campaign and Apple will resolve the issue in seconds. Apple is not the great company it used to be.

Hi Since i have updated my software version of iphone 4S to 6.1.3 following functions stopped working : 1. WiFi (even i am putting correct WPA key still says incorrect pass key, not connecting at all to Wifi.2. Bluetooth is not working as well, it was working till yesterday with my car bluetooth device and now it cant pair with device. since i have updated the software it seemd like my iphone has lost all the passwords and keys stored in its memory. Bluetooth symbol near battery only appears when you are in bluetooth option.Wifi doesnt connect automatically to network which are stored in my phone. When will Apple fix this issue as it is very annoying and hard to work with. I am disappointed that apple hasnt tested there new release properly, why everytime a new release fix one bub but create 10 others. I have recently encountered a new Game Center error. The game I am playing is Five-O. My problem is that I can't play any moves. I get an error message. It says, "Game Center Error" "An unexpected error occurred. Please try again". I can create a new game just fine, but I only get the error message when I try and play a move. I tried it on both 3G and Wifi on my iphone 4S. My friend tried playing Five-O online on his phone and he had no problem. I have tried deleting and re-downloading the app. I tried deleting the app and then transferring it back to my phone via iTunes. I have signed out of Game Center and rebooted my phone, soft and hard. I contacted the developer to ask if there were any issues with the game and he said there weren't any issues and that it might be a Game Center issue. He suggested I try another game, so I downloaded Letterbox. With Letterbox, I got pretty much the same error message, except this message said "Uh oh! There was an error submitting your turn. Please try again. If that doesn't work, try closing the app and relaunching (Error #3)". Is my Game Center account screwed? Is there any way to save my account? It's the same e-mail I use for my Apple ID, so I would really like to avoid having to juggle two different accounts on my phone, just for gaming purposes... If anyone can please help me out, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you so much!

Today I updated the operating system on my iphone 5, and since I have not received a new email to my hotmail account, and messages that I haev deleted keep getting delivered to my Inbox. Anyone else experiencing, or aware, of this problem?
Is it possible to add mailboxes (ie folders) to Notes on iphone to my iCloud account? I can do it in Mail desktop, and then it syncs over, but hoped I could do it on the fly? Am I missing something? Thanks
In my mail app it allows me to create new folders in the notes section so that I can keep multiple 'notepads' I guess you might call them. It's as simples as creating a new folder and then right away this syncs with my iphone and iPad and these new 'accounts' show up in the notes app. It's really useful for keeping a set of business notes and personal notes etc etc BUT , I can't for the life of me figure out how you go about creating one of the new accounts/note folders using the iphone or iPad ? I can't believe there isn't a simple + button somewhere to do this. I've noticed you can also add folders in the icloud web page, so surely they haven't simply left this feature out of the iOS devices entirely have they ? Please say I'm missing something obvious.....

I know the apps store will not give me an old version,that is why i do not use my Mac or iMac to replace the application however this has also been updated on my Macs. The end result is that, WHEN IT REACHES DATA MIGRATION,THE SCREEN WILL BE BLACK OR LIGHT BLUE BLACK,WITH A WHITE SCROLLING LINE THREAD ON THE DEVICE SCREEN,MEANING MIGRATION IS ABOUT TO TAKE PLACE. THIS WILL MOVE FOR ABOUT 2 or 3SECONDS,AND IT WILL CRASH. I have tried this several time,i do not mind starting all over again,i just want it to work with iCloud. Wait a few minutes before trying to enable iCloud again.- After it's done transferring the information to iCloud, wait a few minutes, then connect your 2nd device to iCloud and let it connect with the existing iCloud data. If it gives a message saying "First Time iCloud Sync", then press Cancel. It means it hasn't detected the data you just uploaded from iCloud yet. Try again in a minute. Hope this helps.Regards. Hi,I have recently upgraded to IOS 6.1 and had some problems. I shall detail them as they happened. I used iTunes to update my iphone 4 from 5.1.1 to 6.1. This didn't work and it got stuck in recovery mode.I then went for a full restore to the new firmware which was successful.I restored my phone from a backup that was made only hours before only for there to be no change to the phone. No settings, contacts, messages, photos, app settings appeared on the phone. (The restore completed with no error messages) Confused, I synced a couple of times only to have all my apps appear but still with no data and no other settings. I restored again assuming there was a problem with the install. Same thing. I deleted the downloaded firmware and got a clean version from itunes. Restored, same thing. I was worried I had lost all my data and the backup was useless so I purchased a 'iphone explorer software' to analyse my itunes backup. It seemed ok, everything was there.I then check the file system on the phone and it looks like the restore has completed successfully as all the files are in the device backup folders. I still have no access to my contacts, messages or any settings/user info. What can I do to rectify this? Have I missed something?
Is there a way to create a complete backup image of the entire iphone 4S (not just contacts etc) on a Windows PC? I'm thinking of the way I would use something like Acronis True Image to create an image of a computer's hard drive. If something happens to a computer and the drive needs to be reformatted, it can take a couple of days to reinstall the operating system and all it's updates, reinstall all the programs and to get everything set up exactly the way you like/want it. If however, you have a current disk image, a complete restore can be done in a matter of minutes rather than hours or days - so is there any way of doing that with the iphone 4S? Thanks

Guys, i am experiencing the same. My data package got over, and i took time to recharge ( 4 days). And during these 4 days, my phone battery was amazing, i used to charge it once in 2 days. Im sure there is some app that uses data extensively that screws our battery. When i connected to wifi , i noticed the battery getting low as well. If only APPLE was smart enough, to create some software that tells us, that its using this much amount of data and at what time, then this battery issue will be resolved.But that wont happen, because then they wont be a lot of free too good to be true free apps, which collects data and whatsoever without we know. Until then, enjoy your life with a USB cable in your pocket and a car charger is your car, to charge it thrice a day.Thanks.
It wants my Apple ID and password. I put them in (the same ones I used to log onto this apple support site and my iTunes account). But it says they aren't right. So here's my question. My daughter set up my game center account. Is it possible the Apple ID and password Game Center is looking for could be different? When I tried to retreive my password from Game Center, it said I had to create a whole new password (i.e., it wouldn't let me use my same old password). But I'm wary of doing that... will that change my Apple ID password for everything? I don't know what to do. Thanks. Julie
Does anyone know where is MMS settings in the configuratino utility? I see APN for the profile but no MMS and I need to change those settings for my unlocked iphone to work with net10 service. I can send and receive regular messages but not MMS. Can anyone help me? It seems everyboy tells me how to create profile and APN settings but no one even apple reps know what to do. My gf got a iphone 4S, earlier she had a 3G. Once upone a time, she created a Apple ID in here own name with here own e-mail address. Later, when she got the 4S, she coudln't log in with here old username/password, so she created a new account using my e-mail. Late last year, we updated it to iOS6, and after that, i tried to make here old username/password work, but no luck. The phone claimed it was already taken and could not be used, same with my hotmail address that she used. I tried for several hours, but it got late and she needed the phone, so the quick fix was to create yet another account using one of my outlook addresses. I logged in now, trying to delete this account (as my username suggests, lol), but no luck there. The problem at the moment is as follows: - In settings, she seems to be logged into here account on iCloud and iTunes and App Store.- If she launches the App Store and try to update one of the outdated apps, it prompts a window asking for the password of my outlook address.- That same window pops up when she roboots the phone, with the outlook address already filled in (unchangable). How come? we want to clean up that mess and get her account back as it should be...

i have delted a contact from my i phone 5 but when i go into create a new message it still shows as its saved in my phone instead of its saying the name then iphone and the number it says the name and then saved under OTHER?? i have checked my phone the number is not stored anywhere in my phone? also when i go into the search i phone screen and put there name in there it brings up loads of message from this person?? how do i delete all this???? please help!!!!!
