iphone 5 acting weird

i just got my new iphone 5 16gb last week. updated to new 6.0.2 updates   i do not have installl any heavy application, only Facebook, yahoo and flickrs  i notice my phone is always lag, not responding to touch, and the most annoying part is it always ****** me up when i use the OSK (on screen keyboard). when i try to use the OSK, for example when i want to click backspace, it will randomly push  A, Q, T for many times. i cannot get my msg done.   i try to do the soft reboot, restart but it only good for half day before it start doing the problem again.   the most annoying part is when it did not respond to my touch.   what is the problem with this?  this explain my problem    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgnkWjGvkYo

Right side of iphone 4S not working properly

The right side of my screen started getting a little bit weird just a few weeks ago. At first I ignored it because it just starts working again randomly, but now it just happening more often, and now I think this time it won't go away, the problem is that the right side of my screen doesn't respond to touches, sometimes it responds but I have to touch harder and multiple times, and most of the time when I'm typing something it presses search when I try to backspace or reach a word near search. Also I noticed that the right side responds to touches without me touching it, I just put my finger over the music app for example, and sometimes it opens, from just putting my finger near the app, I don't touch the screen, it's like it has a super sensor or something, and sometimes it responds to touches on the top right corner by touching the area next to speaker, not the actual screen, and again, it does that whenever it feels like doing that, but the right side has been unresponsive almost all day today, the only way to open apps is by tapping harder, most of the time it doesn't respond, and it detects touches in some places from 2 or 3 cm away, this is all just with the right side of my screen and I have tried putting phone in DFU mode, and respringing, but non of that works and I don't wanna restore as I will lose fw 5.1.1 ( I don't like iOS 6), so my question is, would this be a software problem, or should I take phone to a nearby apple store for them to check it, it's still under warranty, the phone is in perfect condition, no scratches or anything, I've always had a case with it, the problem is not the case since it does the same without the case, if there is something wrong with it, I'd like a repair, but I can also have a new phone as long as it's free and I can get all my apps back.

Inresponsive 4s display

Parts of my iphone 4s display has become inresponsive. For example, when trying to enter the pincode for the sim card, some of the keypads don't work. Digits 1-6 are ok, the rest are either not working at all, or they produce wrong digits. The backspace key results in the digit '3', for example. I have tried a reset by holding the sleep and home buttons for ten seconds. I took the phone back to the shop, and was adviced to try a restore via iTunes on my MacBook. Back home I connected the iphone to the MacBook and clicked the restore button in iTunes. The dialog box then informed me that the newest version of iOS would be installed as part of the restore. My iphone is still on iOS 5.1.1, and I don't want to install iOS6 until some of its problems are fixed. Is there really not possible to restore a 5.1.1 iphone to 5.1.1?

Texting typing issues with my iphone 4

Hi.  I just noticed a problem with texting from my iphone 4.  As I type, the letters that appear are randomly correct and incorrect.  It starts new lines, puts periods where I didn't (not after double spacing) and just enters random letters, capitalized and not.  I can get it to type the correct letter about 1 in 5 tries, but it will then type in sometimes 5 letters that I didn't type and when I try to backspace, sometimes it lets me, sometimes not.  I checked to see if there were any problems writing an email but there weren't.  Any ideas why this is happening?  I have it in an Otterbox but it has been dropped a few times.  Do you think it finally started getting brain damage?

Stop Hotspot Ribbon from showing iphone 3G

G'day, Is there any way to show the hotspot notification ribbon from showing? It is just that a number of apps I have can't shrink the app display and as a result the bottom row of buttons half merge with the status bar of the app and make things difficult. I have a calculator app (I have had to stop using the built in one because it will not let you backspace to correct an entry) and when I am connected via the personal hotspot, there is an issue where the bottom row of buttons compete for the same space as the apps status bar. Thanks

How can you backspace in the calculator? It appears to me that if (when :-) you make a mistake, you can only wipe out the whole entry and start over. ie: if I type 1234 and I meant to type 1243, can I backspace to correct that?

This is more of an request for a future update:When sending SMSes in Hebrew using the default SMS app, the backspace button is dangerously close to the SEnd button. Hi I have a 8 day old iPhone4 16GBand I have the strangest intermittent screen issue, the right side of my screen stops taking inputs from time to time, sometimes its perfect and other times it helps to lock the phone unlock the phone then keep typing, other times this does not make a difference. Its does it in all apps where I can type. messages notes safari mail etc. both Apple apps and 3rd party apps.Most of the time it only effects the p key but sometimes its the o p k l m and backspace keysif I turn the phone to its side to go wide screen those keys work, as expected they are on a different part of the screen now. However if I am in safari and want to scroll up fast by touching the top menu bar no go. like I said its an intermittent issue and sometimes works perfectly.I dont have one of those screen protectors or cases at all. so its not that its being touched elsewhere. i have reinstalled the phone, done a DFU then reinstalled again, without a restore so that it is totally factory default, and it does the same thing, Any ideas? iphone acting weird

today i was texting on my iphone, and letters i wasnt even near kept popping up, like when i would hit p the letters a, x, and g would pop up at the same time and it was never the same combination even if i hit the same letter, and when i hit the backspace it wouldnt backspace, it would have 3 or 4 other letters pop up. i tried to turn off my phone to see if that would help but when i tried to slide the power off slider it wouldnt go off.... and ive already tried to restore to factory with itunes and it still acts weird.

If I need to edit an email there is the backspace button, but is there no delete button?? Its annoying to have to scroll to the letter I wish to delete and have to backspace it, especially if the typo requires BOTH backspace and a delete.

What delete key iphone

Does anyone know if the keyboard on an iphone or iTouch for that matter has a delete key? The backspace key deletes to the left but typically the delete key deletes the present character. Does anyone know how to move the cursor right and left, mainly left. I hope the solution is not to just backspace left until to get to where to want. Thanks. Itouch 16 GB 2nd gen Windows XP

I updated to 2.2.1. Now the delete keys and backspace keys are not working. Safari pages cannot be deleted. Anyone have suggetions?I restored to factory default and added as a new phone and still the probems persist. I am at a loss as to what to do next. G5 Mac OS X (10.5.6)

The iphone keyboard always chooses r, y, f, g, or h as the next input after cai. Now if you type in the wrong letter, you can backspace and then be able to select t. But you can never get t the first time.Even if you try to slide your finger around after picking r for example. t will never get selected.This is very annoying since I type that name a lot on my iphone.Applecare said told me to turn off Auto Correct in the keyboard preferences. Sure that works, but then I lose all other auto corrected words.IMO auto-correct should only correct for typed words, not select the letters for you, and it should allow you to choose any letter by sliding your finger around... Keyboard Bug-Cant type certain key combos iphone

Certain key combinations are unable to be typed. For example create a new Note or Email and try to type the word banjo in without using backspace or auto-correct. After hitting B-A-N you are unable to hit the J key. Even pressing and holding you can move over the other keys but can not get J to activate. If you let it hit K and then hit backspace you can type a J but not right after hitting B-A-N. It will let you type those in if there are other characters preceding them. If you type F-F-B-A-N it will then let you hit J. But starting on a new line you cant type banjo correctly.There are a number of other words or combos like necrotic it wont let you hit the R key, it seems to trip up on a lot of 4th letters. This is weird.When I try to enter my user name, drtrech, in any iphone text application, it allows me to type d-r-t-r . . . but refuses to allow me to enter the e. It will allow ONLY a w or r (the letters on either side of the e), but steadfastly refuses to allow me to enter the e.If I enter a different letter and backspace, it works fine. If I turn off auto-correction it works fine. But I shouldnt have to do either one of those just to type in a slightly unusual letter sequence. Im sure there are other sequences that are also problematic, but I havent stumbled upon them.Is there any mechanism to make an inquiry to Apple, or to at least report the issue?

Whenever I am typing an SMS message and have to delete, the caps lock is always selected. In addition, when the number button is pressed and I press the backspace button, the same issue occurs (except that instead of the caps lock, the symbol button is selected. Ok so ive owned both the 2G and 3G and they both have done this to me. My girlfriends name is Khristian and everytime i type her name in any text message it doesnt let me type an i after the r. Khro, everytime. Evan when i stop at r and and try my hardest to type an i.....no dice. Its weird, i always have to type the o and backspace and put an i. Anyone else notice this? Impossible to type my username properly iphone

As my name is Jaap Trouw my username is jaaptrouw for several websites. However, I cant type it at once, because the r is impossible to type. Ive tried is a million times, it keeps giving the e instead of the r. Typing only part of my username gives no problem, only when I type my full username it wont work. I can type jaapte, press backspace and finish the name, or type jaapteouw, hit space (which autocorrects the word to jaaptrouw) and then hit backspace. But I just want to be able to type my username in a single go.Can anyone reproduce this error? Is my username in a weird twist of events caught in a bug? And can it be fixed? backspace Key Clears Google Search Entry iphone 3G

Ive noticed something very strange happening with my phone. For some reason when I come back to my Google Search field in Safari to edit a search and press the backspace key, it clears the entire entry. Sometimes I may just want to revise just one word and not the whole search, but pressing backspace just clears the whole field. Does anyone know whether this is a feature or just a bug in the OS?

Im finding it a pain to edit text or numbers on the iphone.. for example, if I have John Doe and I want to make that John P. Doe or if I have a number and need to add another digit somewhere in the middle, theres no way to go to a certain character/point in the middle of a string. It looks like I have to use the backspace and delete everything from the end up to the point where I want to add new characters, which requires me to remember all of the stuff I just deleted. This is very annoying. Anyone know of a better way to do this on the phone itself as opposed to doing it on a computer and syncing? Im still on 2.0.2 btw.Thanks! Hi - Im now on my 3rd iphone 3g (16GB, Black) and Im still having trouble with it. As of now I cannot comment on reception/3G issues, since I have only had this particular iphone for about an hour and a half. However, Ive encountered a strange problem when trying to enter a companys name in Contacts on multiple iPhones after multiple restores from Recovery Mode.
