Iphone 5 loudspeaker micsirivoice to text not picking up sound.

Hi, I am new to this forum so i apologise in advance for not following any rules thats set. I have a Iphone 5, 16 GB for 6 months and for the past month or so i've been having issues with the microphone.     1. During a call if i want to use loudspeaker the mic cuts out so the person on the other end can not hear what i am saying, yet while during a call off loudspeaker          they can hear me fine.     2. Siri can not detect anything i say or any noise what so ever when i try to use siri, but can when using a headset.     3. When trying to use voice to text in messages no speech is detected. When using a headset under all three of these, they work fine, calling someone works fine aslong as i don't use loudspeaker.i have tried to restore the phone to see if this corrects the problems but no luck. The firmware version is 6.1.4, on EE 4G. Any help with this is appriciated. Tyler.

short battery life iPhone 5

For the past two weeks I have been getting terrible battery life. This morning my battery charge dropped from 100% to 90% in 2 hours. I have tried double pressing and turning off apps, but that hasn't helped. How do I determine what is using up the battery?

Camera problem with iPhone 5

I purchased my iPhone 5 in January 2013 in India. For past couple of months, my phone camera dies frequently. The first time it happenned, I update the phone with iOS 6.1.3 and it started working. Next time when Camera was not working then I reset the phone and it started working, Now, I have the same problem, when I open the camera, shutter does not open and I am not able to click any picture. Does anyone has a similar problem with their iPhone 5? I never had this problem with my iPhone 3GS. Please reply. Thanks,-Upanshu

iPhone 5 Warranty Question

Hey guys, my iPhone 5 was bought in December at Bestbuy. I just made an appointment at the Genius Bar and I wanted to ask some questions about the one year warranty included with the phone. My phone had been working fine for the past six months and it's never been treated harshly ( I've always kept a good case on it and a screen protector ) however yesterday my lock button stopped working... whenever I click it the phone does not respond to it. The phone is basically new when taken out of the case and the only reasonable explanation for this, in my opinion is a defect of manufacture that recently showed up. I'm wondering what will apple do when I take my phone in? Will they replace it for another? Attempt to fix it? Will any charges be present? And what should I bring just incase they decide to replace it ( ex. headphones, charger?)  Thank you.

iPhone 5 Frequently Crashes to Apple Logo and Screen Lock

I have an iPhone 5 64 GB running iOS 6.1.4 on AT&T. Over the past ~ three days, have noted that the iPhone randomly "crashes".  Could be when I am using an app.  Could be when I am making a phone call.  Could be when it is simply connected to the power cord and haven't touched it at all. The cycle is as follows: Screen suddenly goes blankThe white Apple logo (which typicaly appears during boot-up) appears for 3 - 5 secondsI hear the "chirp" that normally sounds at the end of boot-upThe iPhone lock lock screen then appears Sometimes, when the phone emerges from lock screen, the brightness is about half of what it was prior. I have not been able to isolate this behavior to a specific set of circumstances.  When it occurs during a phone call, the call is interrupted / other party is silenced, but if I swipe at lock screen, the call resumes (the other party notes that I went silent during duration). I have re-started / re-booted the iPhone 15 times.  I have cleared all apps from the cache.  I have disabled all notifications and location services.  I have done a Reset All Settings on iPhone and restored from iCloud.  I have done a Restore from iTunes.  The problem continues. I would say that this crash cycle occurs about every 30 - 60 minutes.  As noted, many times when I'm not even touching / using the iPhone. Have also noted that when not connected to power supply, the iPhone is quite warm, and battery drain is at an accelerated rate of 3x to 4x of "normal", worse than prior iOS 6 related battery issues.  Have also tried all the usual battery saving tricks - wifi is off, GPS is off, EQ is off, etc. Any thoughts before I head to the Genius Bar? Thanks! TCF

iPhone iPhone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred-1 . iPhone 4S

I have been trying to update my iPhone's software for the past few weeks due to my current provider not being found. (A bar that says "Searching" is always at the top where my 3G should be.) Yet whenever I try directly from my iPhone, it always end with an error message. So, yesterday I tried updating directly from itunes and I let it download the new update and all that. However, after it finished trying to update my iPhone, it put my iPhone in a recovery mode and I've been trying to fix it eversince. I can not access my iPhone, all it has is an icon saying to connect to itunes. I've tried troubleshooting, checking my software, updating my computer etc. yet it still leaves me with this message: "The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (-1)." I've looked on the apple site and I've made sure my security is up to date, my computer is up to date, my itunes is up to date and that I have restarted my computer. I am very irritated and I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do because my warranty is over with apple and I still have a few years on my contract. This problem has become relatively frequent with the replacement I've received from apple.  Please post all suggestions or ideas to help with my problem, Thank you for your time. -Applefanatic23

My iphone 4s wonnt accept charge and its at 0%, my warranty expired and I am wondering if changing the battery would fix it? I have tried restarting it and all that.  (If its not the battery what part is it?) When I try to charge it, it says its charging, and I cannt get past that.

How to remove Quota limit reached iPhone 3G

In my notes, everytime I edit a note, this notification pops up as "Quota - Quota limit reached." and then deletes the current note I'm editing. This is rather frustrating, because I do have some important notes and everytime I go to use it they get deleted after this notification pops up. I did go through my notes and delete a bunch, but there are less that 15 notes and as you can see in the photo this account has 3 and I've definitely had way more in the past. Does the Quota extend to other applications as well?Thanks for the input!

how to import photos from computer to camera roll iPhone 3G

i have been using the same back up file for my phone's for the past four years and my iphone 5 started was all glitchy and i had over 10gb of other used up on phone so i restored it. before i restored it though i saved all of my pictures to a folder on my mac using image capture. now im wonder how to import the photos back into my camera roll, not another folder on my phone. so far i have tried using ieplorer and a couple of other programs like that but no luck. i have about 1,500 photos so i cant email all of them to myself and then save them all. all i want is all my photos back into my camera roll :/

Iphone 5 randomly plays music and Siri Randolmy Activates

I've had my Iphone 5 since November and have had no problem with it but over the past couple days,my phone will randomly start playing music when im on the internet or when im have an app opened or even when my phone is locked and I'm not on it. Siri also activates out of knowhere sometimes. How can I fix this?  This is really starting to get irratating! I could use some help!

Iphone 5 typing and touchscreen issue

Hi This week my iphone 5 have been presenting an issue that i have never seen in the past and is just driving me crazy, the keyboard is just working bad, everytime I type something it just write another letter or the same letter more that once, becoming very hard to tYpe somethung.. at the same time the screen moves a little bit when i write something.. and in general the phone have a bad funcionality.. its very weird, is the second timI in two days it happens... I have not make jailbreak or anything, so i dont know why it is happening. Someone knows how to fix this problem?? HELPPP

My iPhone 5 stopped recognizing my USB cable

In the past few nights, my phone would charge if I had the cord in exactly the right place, but as soon as I touched it in the slightest, it would stopped charging. It did one of those charge, no charge things where it recognizes it for a second, vibrates to tell you it's charging and then stop and then start over again (lots of vibrates). Every once in a while I would get a "Charging is not supported by this accessory" notifications even though I'm using my factory-produced cord and adaptor. Then last night it stopped recognizing USB cords altogether. I tried two different cords, two different adaptors, three different outlets, and plugging it into my laptop. Nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions or have encountered similar problems? I would really like to be able to charge my phone before it dies. Thanks. Jason

How I get Voice Memos to stop crashing iPhone 3G

For the past half year, every time I open my Voice Memos app, it shows the app interface and then immediately crashes and exist the app. This happens without me touching the screen after opening it.

Tried rebooting phone and PC, reinstalled the USB device driver and iTunes (latest version).  Phone wont progress past connect to iTunes image. Very frustrating.

Iphone 5 charger keeps on breaking.

Over the past five months, I have purchased over five different charger cables for my iphone 5 which i bought new in December. For some reason, after months, weeks or even days, he latest charger stops working. Sometimes the phone is plugged in and it doesn't respond at all to the cable, other times, the cable only functions when in a certain position. I am so angry at this as I'm spending and will continue to spend a lot of money to charge my phone. Am I doing something wrong? (This was never an issue with my iphone 3 and the cable even worked when the connector head seemed half broken off). What should I do? And also, is anyone else having this issue, because if not, then it must be an issue with my actual phone, no?Thanks

not purchase LifeProof case iPhone 5

Less than two months ago, I purchased an iPhone 4S 16G, as well as a LifeProof case, which the dealer told me was superior to an Otterbox. It is touted to be waterproof, dirtproof, snow/iceproof, and shockproof. Up until today, I have been quite pleased with my case, though the screen protector does make it a bit harder to to tap the screen. Today, I had my phone in my pocket. When I bent over, it fell out and hit the ground from a height of two feet. It was completely in its case, and I had performed all the checks recommended before using the case. It fell on to carpet. When I picked it up, the case was undamaged, but the entire front of my phone was shattered. It look as though it had been hit by a bullet. The screen still worked, but it was covered with tiny shards of glass. The damage seemed focused around the ear speaker at the top of the phone. I have in the past dropped an iPod touch, sans case, face down onto tile, and the damage was about 4x less than the current damage on my phone. I immediately called Apple, who told me that the warranty did not apply to my situation (though this was not a surprise). I would have to replace my phone, refurbished for $150 or new for $200. I then called LifeProof, at which point I discovered that their warranty only covers the case. They will not refund your phone, though they offered to give me a new case. The person I spoke to told me that he used a LifeProof case, and that his screen had cracked several times while using it. He recommended going to an independent phone dealership who would repair my screen. In short, this overpriced case does almost nothing. To be fair, I have had no problems with the waterproof aspect of the case. However, it will not protect your phone from even the most minor drop that would normally not damage the phone at all. I have seen several accounts of LifeProof owners who put their phone in their pocket and pull it out cracked. This case is not worth $1, let alone $80. For emphasis, I have included some photos of what my phone looks like after the fall. Remember, this was only two feet and onto carpet while in the supposedly shock-proof case.             

iphone 4s vibrate

I have noticed for the past few weeks that whenever I bump my iPhone 4S or put it down on a countertop / desk / bed or really any surface with less than the most possible care, it will vibrate and show the bell with a diagonal line through it.  It isn't due to a notification.   Is anyone else experiencing this problem?  It seems to have been a recent onset. I run an unlocked iPhone 4S on T-mobile in an Otterbox defender case.  This seems to be since the t-mobile update.

Iphone 5 no longer connecting to bluetooth in car

My Iphone 5 has been connected succesfully via bluetooth to my car for the past 5 months (Ford Fiesta).  Yesterday I went to use it and it wont connect, I powered off the phone, turned bluetooth on/off still not working. I debonded all phones from the car and went to start afresh but that wont work either. When it is searching for devices it just seems to be stuck?  I tried another Iphone 5 in my car and that connected no problems at all. Anyone have any ideas, it clearly must be the phone but wonder what on earth I have done.

iPhone 5 charging off and on

My iPhone 5 which is running iOS 6.1.3 for the past few weeks has bee charging off and on. I have two cords one that came with my phone and one I ordered off amazon, neither of the two cords is functioning proerly which is leading me to believe it may be a phone issue rather than cord. I wil plus it in and often get a "charging is not supported with this device" message ragardless if I use he provided apple brick, my laptop, or car port. It will mainly then switch off and on between charging and then just being plugged in not charging!

Apps Installing Very Slowly iOS 6.1.3 iPhone 5

Hi everyone, Ive noticed something interesting, for the past few weeks apps have begun installing very slowly in the past few week over wifi. And I still haven't figured out why. My wifi conntection via speedtest.net was measured at a download rate of 18.85 Mbps. They used to install fairly quickly but I have noticed that they install very sluggishly as of recent. any Ideas? Thank-you, Shawn

So I had to totally re create a new apple account and Id because I bought something off one of my apps with a prepaid credit card and when I would o to update it would ask for my billing information an I just got past not having to put a credit card but it is using my old apple id to update stuff I don't understand

I am in South Africa and my only means with communication back in the States was through iMessagea and FaceTime over wifi. They have been working fine for the past 3 weeks and all of a sudden they have both stopped working and say waiting for activation. I am using the same wifi I have been and I have a strong signal. I have also tried turning wifi off, iMessage off, and FaceTime off and resetting the networks, it didn't work. Any ideas on how to fix this? I just don't know why it would be working fine then all of a sudden stop!

My phone won't activate iPhone 4S

I have an iPhone4s, and earlier I decided to reset my phone back to "square one" (factory settings) to clear up some space and get rid of unwanted apps/music/etc I had on my phone... Once I 'reset' my phone, it brought me to the initial, brand new, out-of-the-box stage of the iPhone. I was able to get past the first 2 'questions' (language & country) and then it gave me the option to activate via wi-fi or celluar service, I tried both (numerous, NUMEROUS times) and no matter what I do or where I go my phone will NOT activate. It's been going on 12 hours now, I need my phone back!!  Thank you to anyone who can help!

how I can reboot my iPhone 4 after I tried to reset everything in in general settings. It just has black screen and little circle in middle like if i turned it off but it just stays like . I won't stop or go away.

The button on my iPhone 4 is stuck and does not work so i can not press and hold the home button and the power button to reboot it. I tried to reset my iPhone throught the Settings in General. Once I did that the screen went black with the little loading circle in the middle like if I turned it off and stayed like that for the past 2 hours and it won't stop. it's not frozen because the circle is moving (loading) but it's been over 2 hours and I've tried everything. I'm not sure if it takes that long.

its been happening for the past 2 weeks, my iPhone 4s keeps disconnecting and reconnecting my wifi. And most of the time, I can't search for any near by wifi even though I am beside my router...PLEASE HELP!!!!

Figuring out restriction passcode iPhone 4S

My phone says that my restriction settings are on, which I am assuming is why none of my aps can be granted access to my photo stream, and I have never set up a restriction passcode. I have tried the last 4 digits of my phone number, 0000, and one I thought I might have set up, but none of them work. Does anyone know what is going on? What a general restriction passcode is? And how to reset it without reseting my whole phone?

itunes doesn't recognize iphone iPhone 4S

I connect iphone 4s to my acer computer and comp says usb not recognized and then itunes doesn't recognize my iphone so i can't upload stuff to it. The funny thing is that it's charging just fine. In the past with a different usb cable it worked just fine.Perhaps if I install the driver manually it will work? Where can I find it?

Norandom notifications iPhone 3G

I'm only recieving about 10% of the normal notifications from my favorite apps... Skype: never unless I'm using the phoneWhatsapp: only when the phone is idle for long periods of timeTwitter's notifications haven't worked until I set foot in Italy this past weekend. The moment I crossed the border, it all started working. Nothing has changed other than I am studying in Europe instead of the USA.  Are there any things I can check in iOS before hunting down the developers of the apps? iOS 6.1.3 on an iPhone 4S

My iPhone 5 will not start up all way.

My iPhone5 was working perfectly fine one day. Then I try to reboot my phone, and for some reason it couldn't get past the apple logo. If it did get past the apple logo, one of four things would happen. A.) The apple logo will fade to blue, and reboot over and over again. B.) The apple logo will disappear and the entire screen will turn completely red. C.) The apple logo will just appear and reappear over and over again.D.) The apple logo will dim and the following text will pop up at the top of the screen      [NAND] _FindFlashMediaAndKeepout:600 Physical nand block offset 1     [NAND] Start:335 this 0x938e2c0 Provider=0x938efc00     [NAND] WMR_Start:149 Apple PPN NAND Driver, Read/Write     [NAND] WMR_Start:174 FIL_Init[OK]  (I'm not sure if all the spacing is precise, but it was all that mumbo-jumbo) As much as I didn't want to, I restored my phone. I didn't have a lot of my things backed up, so I lost a lot of things I had on there. My phone seemed to be perfectly fine, no errors. It ran smoothly for about 12 hours. Then the same thing happened again. I don't understand why this happened again. I mean I restored my phone completely and all. It just makes no logical sense to me. I just wanted to know what I could do about this. I have Applecare, but I would still have to spend 200 dollars if I need to get a new phone. I don't feel that is right if the phone has factory errors or something. If I could get a clear response on what this is, why it's happening, and how it could be fixed, I will be a very happy young lady. Thank you!

I got new iPhone 5 from Vodafone but when i took it to Apple store following very bad battery charge they refused to service it as it had Non Apple stickers and was missing water sensor

Hi, we purchased a new iPhone 5 16 GB in balck through our business account with Vodafone.We’ve had this phone just under 2 month and it has had a battery issue that seemed to only get worse by time. We tried the usual fixes by applying the latest iOS and doing a complete restore to factory settings with no results.The battery would not hold charge for long and the user had to keep constantly charging it through the day.  We’ve had similar issues in the past with iPhone 4 and the 4S to which the fix was always to take the iPhone back to the Apple store and get it replaced under warranty.When I went to the Apple store after inspecting the phone they told me that they can not service nor replace the phone as it had “Random Code Stickers” on the inside of the phone which are not consistent with any repair work done in any Apple repair store and that a “water sensor “ attached to the inside of the screen was missing as well as “Burn marks” to the back on the screen.Has anyone had a similar problem with their phone?

Broken Bent Cracked Bad ESN iPhone iPhone 5

I recently purchased a completely broken iPhone 5. The phone has a bent frame chasis, the front screen is completely cracked and shattered with pieces of glass falling out of it and the front screen is actually detached from the frame at some points. The Back is bent on an angle towards the middle and I am almost positive that the phone has a bad ESN. Most likely this phone never had Apple Care and is past the 30 day point.  Can I bring the iphone 5 to the Apple store for them to fix it and or replace it with a new one?

Cannot Restore Corrupt Backup after upgrading to 6.1.3 iPhone 4S

My wife needed to make space on her Iphone because of the many videos she had on it. When she plugged the phone into our iMac, running 10.8.3, and connected to iPhoto to transfer the videos over the upload started as it normally does. However, during the middle of the transfer iTunes interupted and INFORMED my wife that the phone was now upgrading to the newest software version (6.1.3)being as we usually keep our phones up to date with upgrades anyways we didnt think much of it. Unfortunately during this process the software update failed and the phone crashed. We were left with two options "restore from backup" or "restore iPhone." We tried several times to restore from the backup and we received the same error message every time "iTunes could not restore the iPhone because the backup was corrupt or incompatable with the Iphone that is being restored." I went into my library and checked out my backups folder and I saw that there were two new backups there for my Wife's phone. One time stamped at the exact time the phone crashed and one from the last time I tried to restore(after the phone crashed). We finally decided that there must have been a glich with the softwarre download, since it didn't complete, so we decided to "Restore Iphone" hoping that a corrected software would then allow us to restore from the backup properly. So the phone was wiped and reset with the new software, and we still cannot access the backup that we need. Though it is extremely frustrating that the videos of our toddler are gone, it is very important that we somehow find a way to access the information in the non corrupt backup files, her address and phone books as well as past text messages and calendars. I went to a site called iphonerecoveryonline and followed their protocol and I was able to see that all of the aboved mentioned information is still in those backups, but I have no way, with out paying these people $20 per file, to return that info to her phone. I would rather not have to pay to recover this info, but I guess that may be my only option? Any advice, experience or reccomendations would be greatly appreciated.

updating of software on my iPhone 4 was interrupted

I was updating the software on my iPhone4 when the cable got pulled out and my iPhone froze on the loading screen. I reset it, and it showed the 'connect to iTunes' screen. I did this, and found that my iPhone is now in recovery mode and I need to reset it. Stupidly, I haven't backed up my iPhone for a long time, and I really don't want to lose all my pictures, notes & messages etc.Is there any way I can get past this? Is the only option to restore it?Any feedback would be amazing!

Applications running automatically iPhone 4S

Hi team,              I am using i phone 4s from past one year ,home button is not working for that I am using Associative touch option from 4 months onward .Recently getting the problems,  Voice control open automatically fro that  going the calls ,playing music in lock mode and unlock mode, when i try to lock the phone it was taking photo of screen  , Application screen also moving up and down and some times mobile also struck. For this problem I restore with i tunes and updated the latest version of iOS 6.1.3 but still the problem remains same, can you give the solution for this .

Iphone 4s won't charge HELP

For the past week my phone has been randomly muting and showing no sign of volume bar. I tried resetting it and turning it on and off but it wouldn't help much. I finally noticed that when I plugged my phone into my speakers the problem was fixed and after unplugging my phone would have a volume bar once again. Today when i went to charge my phone it wouldnt read that it was plugged in and instead continued to lose battery power as if it wasn't plugged in. I tried using multiple cords and different outlets but nothing worked. So now my phone is dead and still not accepting charge. I don't have warrantly because I always take excellent care of my phones and I didn't want to pay for something I most likely would never use. I made an appointment for the genius bar at my local apple store for tomorrow but im incredibly impatient as my phone is my life (I also use it for business). Does anyone have any idea how I could possibly fix this on my own? I do not want to have to buy a brand new phone as I just got this one last summer.

Small circle instead of 3G on iPhone 5

So I recently trade my phone go a new one cuz the other one was broken. When I got this one and I set it up I noticed its almost always has the little circle "o" next to my sprint icon. I have restored it twice and done the ##update# and still having problems. With my past phone it was always on 3G or lte it's the first time I see this little circle it's been going on for 2 weeks idk what to do its stressful  

iPhone 4 randomly losing contacts

Hey everyone, I have an iphone 4 and over the past few weeks it has just randomly been losing my contacts.  I have them all backed up in my computer, but it is still annoying and worrisome.  I don't have iCloud syncing turned on, nor does it happen after I have synced or anything.  It will just happen in the middle of the day while it is sitting on my desk.  I'll look over to answer a text or something and notice all my contacts gone and my texts and phone calls are just listed by numbers.  It has only been happening recently.  I have 1.6 GB of space left (of a 16 GB iphone 4) so I don't think it is a space issue, but what do I know?  Could it be deleting my contacts because its out of room?  I'm totally at a loss.  Geez.  Any help?

Verizon Iphone 4s 32GB alerts not working correctly

Hi, I have a Iphone 4s (32GB) that i got at a verizon store this past summer (May-Aug 2012). I'm currently only using 7.3GB of it (so i don't really have a ton of stuff on it), and i always close my apps after i use them.  I am having an issue with the alerts. In my settings i have the notifications for imessages/text messages, and mail to be 'on' with Alert as the Alert style, badge app icon on, show preview, view in lock screen, etc on. BUT whenever i will get emails it will viberate once, but the email wont pop up as an alert, i will manually have to go to my mail to see what it is. Also, with text messages i can get a text message and my phone wont even viberate or send me an alert for it, i will just randomly have a 1 on the messages icon. Is there a recall or something that would explain why my phone is doing this? I am puzzeled, because i take really good care of my phone and am confused why this would be happeneing- because i do all the right things to keep it working for as long as possible. Thank you!

I had my 4s in a bumper and like many other have the rubbing affect and think apple should fix it for free but that's beside the point anyone know if apple will or not I can buy the replacement part for $39 only issue is its a DIY and rather not break my phone even though I have fixed many phones in the past rather not risk my only phone usually I buy broken phone and see If I can fix them and resell them but not going to play chicken with 4s. 

how can I keep old appointments from deleting in my iphone calendar

It seems iphone's calendar automatically deletes past appointments.  It won't even let me make an appointment for something that happened in the past.  I need to reference old appointments though so is there some way to make the iphone save old appointments or at least ask me?  It has nothing to do with syncing to my computer as I rarely do that.  This is really annoying.  My old Palm would save everything and it was great since I could go back and see the last time I went to the dentist, etc.  Is there a fix to this?

Iphone 4s deleted notes calendar items

Why does Iphone delete notes or calender items?  More importantly, how would I accidently delete them and is there a way to restore them? This happened with my calander items a month ago.  All of a sudden my appointments for the future and past were gone.  I got them back by restoring it (I THINK.)  After the fact I realized icloud was free and now use that as a back up for my phone. Then again today I was going to delete an item on my note and ALL my notes were gone.  I don't understand how it could of been my fault though.  When you open the Note app I had 9 different 'threads' I will call them.  Within each thread I had more 'notes'.  I was deleting one note from a thread and all of a sudden all my threads were missing by two. I am not sure how I accomlished this, but Notes was not set up in my iClould and I don't know how to get it back.  My issue I know, but any help would be appreciated.   Thanks!

Suddenly can't sync songs from iTunes to iPhone other help topics suggestions not helping me

Everytime I try to sync any of my songs onto my iPhone 4, I get an error message that says: "Some of the items in the iTunes library, including "(song name)", were not copied to the iPhone "iPhone Name" because they could not be found." and then it stops syncing. It says there are 13 problems. Then when you expand to see the files, each one says: "(song name)"" was not copied to the iPhone "iPhone Name" because it could not be found." It can be any song, an old song from 7 years ago that I got off Limewire, or a song from a CD, or it can be a song I paid for from the iTunes store. Doesn't matter. Couple weeks ago, I had no problems. Purchased new songs and had them in playlists on my phone. Then a couple days ago, I plugged my iPhone into the computer (to charge it), and suddenly my songs were removed off the iPhone. So I tried to put them back on, kept getting this error. So I googled it. I have spent the past 4 days TRYING to get things to work. I have looked through all the other similar questions, and tried suggestions on there. Nothing is working. - There is no exclamation point beside any of my music.- I have not changed the hard drives (I don't use my computer daily, probably once a week), (Windows is up to date also).- I have tried re-adding the songs to the library.- Everything still plays in iTunes.- If I click on the file in its location, it will open it and play it in iTunes. - I tried deauthorizing my account then reauthorizing it, didnt work.- I have even removed all my music off my phone to see if that works, now I have 15 songs on it. I did find it odd that when I looked in my purchased playlist, they were not there, but they are on the computer and on the purchased list (under the iTunes store on the side menu). At least I can use my iPod for when I'm in the car, but now I have to carry that around too, I'm getting quite frustrated. Normally I'm quite computer savvy, but I'm totally stuck on this one. And like most people, I rely on my iPhone WAY to much and let the little things affect my daily life. I hope SOMEONE can please help me?!? (I don't know if it may even have to do with the fact that yesterday I finally got my iPhone updated to the latest IOS, (cuz I was finally able to download the update from iTunes... Unless that was a separate update) the one where it's like "do you want to cancel, download only, download and install").

HELP Iphone 5 STUCK IN RECOVERY SCREEN

last night my iphone 5 (6.1.2) randomly froze, it then wouldnt get past the apple logo, so i connected it to my laptop to Restore it (Which Failed) "Unknown Error (-1)" now my iphone is stuck on the recovery logo and doesnt move. I tried disabling the virus protector, deleting host files etc, but nothing seems to work, everytime i attempt to restore it, it gives me the same message.    I dont mind deleting my files etc, but i would rather fix my iphone asap than to take it into an apple store (45min drive) Please help.    Many Thanks...Danny
