I have set my iPhone to the UK region when first turning it on and going through the set up process. I will be moving to the US in a month and would like to change it or set it up on the US region, although i do not want to go through resetting the phone to do it as i have all my contacts, photos, etc loaded onto the phone. Is there a way i can switch the phone's region over to US? just a note i am talking about the phone not the app store

With Wifi turned on Apps stop working. iPhone 4S

When my wifi is off, everything works fine. My internet, all my apps, everything will load. When I turn on my wifi, that all goes downhill. my internet wont load, none of my apps that require internet are playable, nothing works. I have tried resetting my phone and restoring it, My boyfriends phone, which is exactly like mine, uses my wifi just fine without a problem. What should I do to fix this? I cant go to an Apple store, I would have to take a 5 hour plane ride to get to the nearest one.

Stuck on apple logo tried everything HELP iPhone 4

I was installing an app, it got to around 3/4 of a way and then stopped installing and I waited about 5 minutes alas it was still stuck on the same 3/4 mark. A friend told me to turn my phone off and back on, stupidly I turned it off halfway through the download/install and it wouldn't switch back on, it just stayed at the apple logo. I've tried many "solutions" like holding down the home and on button, doing that whilst it's plugged into the computer etc and it just won't turn on! I'm thinking a trip to the apple store is needed but the closest one is around an hour away so before that does anyone have any suggestions? :(

My iPhone 5 IMEI no says it is purchased from USA whereas I had bought it in Hong Kong. It's still under warranty. The Sleep/wake button is not working and I would like to know whether can I get a replacement under warranty at an Apple store in Singapore? The lock button on my iPhone 5 has stopped working... I don't live near an Apple store, and my free 90-day AppleCare deal is up.  I would like to avoid paying money for a one-time incident to use AppleCare, so is there a way for me to send in my iPhone in instead of visiting a store?  Or are there other options at all?  Thanks so much for your help in advance!

Really hot iPhone iPhone 5

I just bought an iPhone 5 this past Friday for my first smartphone with Verizon, and I have been pretty happy with it so far, though I haven't been using it too heavily. Today, I had it with me all day long, and it seemed like the more I used it, it got pretty hot. Even hot to the point where I couldn't hold it in my hand in an air conditioned room. When this started to happen, I noticed a small spot in the upper right hand corner of the screen that turned yellow, almost like a sunspot. Seeing that, I turned it off for a bit, then turned it back on, and it was still there. I then didn't touch it for awhile, let it cool down, and when it did, the spot disappeared.  So I brought it back to vErizon where i brought it, and by that time it colled off and the spot gone, so they couldn't help me, but they did say to bring it to the Apple store and they can plug it in to see how hot it has been in the past. Is there any way that I can look at this myself rather than driving the distance to go to one, because there's not one incredibly close to me. Also, has anyone heard about this spot before?  I'm worried about the heat output of these thigns because when my Otterbox comes in the mail, i'm worried about that heating up then shutting itself down, because my iPod does that from time to time in it's Defender. Thoughts? Thanks

Hello, I currently on a road trip in Finland and got a 4G/LTE plan from the local carrier ELISA/Saunalahti. My Iphone 5 should do 4G/LTE here and also got the local carrier update to 14.1. The switch for LTE is also there and activated. The phone never switches to LTE. They put my SIM in the local store in another iPhone 5 and it did work - so the issue seems to be with my iPhone 5. Any Ideas? The phone was bought in Switzerland and is the same model as the guy in the store had - A1429. Anybody with similar issue or an idea? Thanks!

iPhone 4s drains fully charged battery within 1 hour after it accidentally plugged into an ipad 3 charger fix

My fully charged iPhone 4s used to last enough for 1 day. Today, I accidentally plugged iPhone into an iPad 3 charger for about 2 hours, then I noticed that it is getting abnormally hot. After this incident, the phone drains battery by decreasing 1% of the battery every minute. I went to see Apple technical support, who tested and said for certain that the problem was the battery (after assuring me that it should be fine to charge iPhone 4s with iPad 3 charger!). After charging me a hefty fee, I left the store, and iphone 4s still drains battery like before. Can my phone be fixed without requiring me to get a new phone? Can I get my money back from Apple techincal support, who gave me a wrong diagosis of my phone?

Why no international warranty option for iPhone 5

Why is there not an option available to extend the iPhone warranty to an international warranty? Especially with a phone that you tend to take with you whenever you travel having to go to the country you bought it originally is a pain and sometimes not feasible. In my case : when I travelled from Hong Kong to a business trip in the Netherlands and then on to the US my iPhone 5 got stolen at the airport in Hong Kong. luckily I only had a prepaid SIM for Hong Kong in the iPhone so I went online and ordered a new simlock free  iPhone 5 at the Dutch online Apple store to be delivered in Amsterdam a few days later. So far, so good. I am currently in China and my iPhone 5 sleep button broke down. As I had to be in Hong Kong last week I thought I would stop by the Causeway Bay Apple store after making a genius bar appointment. They checked the iPhone 5 and confirmed the sleep button was broken and it would be swapped for a new one. However on checking my serial number they told me I had to go back to The Netherlands to get it fixed.... So here is a problem, I am not planning on being there any time soon. Why is it not possible in the global economy we live in to get an international warranty?  I called Apple Care and they suggested I could try in an Apple store in North Carolina where I am due in a few weeks, but they could not guarantee they would swap the phone. Now the end of July  I am due in the UK and from what I read now an iPhone bought in any EU country could be swapped in another EU country. so that would mean I could swap it in London?  Very odd.  Always travel with my MacBook Air and MacBook Pro and these do have international warranty.

Just when I got my 5, my carrier provided me with a back protector. I was going to buy a case from the store but they were poor-quality generic ones sold at a extremely overpriced price. iPhone 5's sleepwake button not working properly

Hi, I've had my iPhone 5 16gb since November last year. I bought it straight from Apple. For the last week my sleep/wake button hasn't been working as it should. It works fine when pushed on the left side of the button but only occasionally works when pushed from the right side.It's frustrating because I don't live near an Apple store and I hear that doing it over the phone and getting them to pick it up takes a long time.It's still usable for now, just annoying because it doesn't always go off. I'd be grateful for any advice or suggestions. Thanks in advanced,Ben

iPhone 4S Multitouch doest work properly while in charge

it is just recently when i noticed that my iPhone 4S doest play so nice with muti touch especially to pinch to zoom on either pictures, ibooks, and webpages,,, when I do multitouch,, the screen just go wild and the images shakes, and worst, the screen doest respond totally in multitouch,, i have no problem in one finger navigations like tap to zoom etc,, it is just the multitouch while in charge.... I have no problem when the phone is not charging it runs smoothly... what could be the problem?? also I notices that after i juiced up the battery a while (after 45mins) the problem on the multitouch seems to disappear, but when you reconnect it again it persist... is there anyone experienced the same? and what would be the solution... apple refuses to accept my complaint because when i brought it to apple store it behaves normally even while in charge,, im using the supplied charger...

Mic problem iPhone 4

My iPhone 4 doesn't record any audio when I record videos, nor does it record any audio when using video apps like vine and snapchat. I am still able to record voice memos, which seems strange. I have no problems making phone calls.   **Just to get the obvious out of the way**  - no the phone is not under warranty. - please do not suggest that I take it to a mac store, I am aware of this option, I am looking for alternative solutions. - It's definately a 4, it's not a 4S

Can t see Cellular Data Network menu iPhone

Hello, I recently bought a brand new unlocked iPhone 5 (iOS 6.1.4 10B350) in person at a Mac store.  I have set up the phone & data service with AirVoice Wireless (an MVNO that uses the AT&T network).  AV does not guarantee that MMS will work for iPhones on their service.  That is fine -- I knew that going into this.  However, when I tried to set up MMS anyway following AV's instructions, I couldn't do it because I cannot see the "Cellular Data Network" menu option under Settings-->General-->Cellular.  The person at AV I spoke with said that I couldn't see the CDN option because my phone wasn't unlocked, which is difficult to believe seeing as I specifically bought an unlocked phone.  So, why can't I see the CDN option if my phone is unlocked?  And how can I gain access to it? Any help/advice would be much appreciated. Sincerely,Mike (an iPhone newbie)

iPhone 4 vibration wifi and calling will not function correctly

I have had my iPhone 4 for 6 months now, and I have dropped it a couple of times, but a few days after I dropped it nothing happened. My first problem started in May when I noticed that my phone could not reach the wifi at home or other places quickly as it normally could and when I would go into other rooms I would lose the connection quickly.This made me have to use my 3g more often and I only have a limit of 300MB, I normally do not use it, because of the wifi i have around,but it is getting harder. 2-3 days ago I called the DATA (*3282#) in my phone and got 64.89 out of 300MB. I later used my 3G for awhile, so a day later i called DATA and the same number (64.89 out of 300MB) comes on again. I knew this was a mistake so I called it again and the same number shows up. I KNOW FOR SURE I USED MY 3G, so I dont know why this keeps popping up. Everything else channged (texting and calling) On top of that my vibration started to not work in early June and it's difficult for me to know when someone has texted or called. I have tried going into settings and choosing a different type of vibration, but it does not vibrate overall and yes it is turned on. My version right now is 6.1. Will upgrading help? Everything else works fine, but is there a way I can fix this or do I have to go the Apple store? I'm also in AT&T.

Iphone 5 problem

On May 1, 2013 I received from my husband as a gift, an iPhone 5 16GB White (Model A1429) after his return from a trip to the African continent. I used the Iphone 5 for only 15 days, while the rear camera crashed. In an attempt to solve, restored the software and not solved. Then took the Iphone 5 Apple technical assistance in Recife / PE, called iTown where it was found that it was a hardware problem and Iphone 5 should be replaced. However when checking the model of Iphone 5 assistant coach said the serial number on my Iphone 5 (F1HK3LNGDTWF) was not authorized by Apple for replacement and that I should contact the Apple 0800. I made contact and technical support agent (# 451 886 701), Samir, informed me that the model of my iPhone 5 (A1429) is not warranted in Brazil and should submit to Apple in the country where it was purchased. Tell it had received a gift from my husband and had been acquired in a electronics store in Johannesburg international airport, not having expected to return to the country in the coming years. Requested that the equipment be sent through Apple Brazil, to the place where it was possible to repair or replace the Apple Iphone 5 Brazil defective by a new, but Samir informed me that he could not do anything for me and that very sorry. Well, I understand that Apple is a company present in several countries and that your warranty is worldwide. Still hopeful, I sent an email to Apple Feedback reporting the incident, but so far have not received any feedback. I'm very disappointed with Apple for this embarrassment and injury. The Iphone 5 cost USD 1,100.00 and in less than 15 days the camera stopped working.I await a return to Apple with the solution for the inconvenience caused.Sincerely,

When making call I can t hear person I am calling but they can hear me. How I fix this problem iPhone

Hey guys, I can play music and hear it just fine, with or without headphones. When I press on the keypad I can hear the noise it makes, I can hear calls with my headphones plugged in, or when the speaker option is on, however, unless this happens, I can't hear the person I am on the phone with. I've tried restarting, resetting, earasing all content, and restoring it with iTunes and that didn't work. I've tried cleaning the ports with a toothbrush, or pressing gently on the microphone and that didn't work.I've tried calling with the headphone on, and taking them off in the middle of the call and that didn't work either. I am currently outside of the US so I can't go to an Apple store, so I am wondering if any of you guys have been succesful at solving this problem. Retrievesync iMessages from iPad to iPhone

Hi everyone, I have an interesting situation going on here.  Today, I had my iPhone replaced due to an issue at the Apple store in Las Vegas. I have an iPad in addition to my iPhone. Prior to the replacement, my iPad and iPhone were fully synced in iMessage. Now, however, after setting this up again, I have lost all of my messages on my iPhone. They are still, however, in my iPad. How can I get them to sync back with my iPhone? I also had my iPhone replaced once before, and I believe it synced right back and I didn't have this problem then (although I didn't have the iPad with me at the time, so that is weird); I don't remember how I did it though.  Hoping to get some help with this, thanks in advance!

iPhone 5 scratched Bezel issue

hi basically i got an iPhone 5 on contract from Carphone Warehouse (it has 1 year warranty from apple) about a month ago, It had a few small scuffs out of the box which i didn't really worry too much about at the start however i used a case i purchased through the apple store taking it off and cleaning and putting it back on about every week or so and have noticed some quite bad scratches on the side ( some visible without light shining on them and many with ) i have phoned apple who said they cant replace it as it is not a technical fault ( I did not mention scratches out of the box ) and carphone warehouse told me to speak to apple to get it replaced.Is there anything else I can do? my i4s touch screen not work iPhone 4S

My i4S touch screen has spots where it does not work.  It makes it difficult to use an app or even type words out.  Is this a software problem?  Or is it in the mechanics of the phone? Anyone else having issues?  I'm not sure if I should just go to Apple store to get fixed.  I know I will be charged and want to avoid that! help!

Iphone 5 back up and restore problem iPhone 4S

My power button on my phone stopped working so before I went to the apple store today I backed up my phone to the computer (itunes) instead of icloud. Now I have my new phone plugged in and I hit restore from computer. It restored all of my texts, pictures, contacts, voicemails etc. Most of my apps restored except for like 10 recent ones which were all PAID for apps. Then a message popped up saying not enough icloud storage to finish restoring. I'm not even using icloud so what is the problem?? I also checked all my apps on itunes, none of the apps that dissapeared are on there either

Home button lagging up to hours iPhone 5

Last night my Home button just stopped working. So i started using the AssistiveTouch, then when i was sending a text, then my phone started to use the home button by itself. Like all my clicks had been queued up. I'm talking hours afterwards. Then for a bit, the button worked like it should. But after i put it to sleepmode, the same thing happened.And just now, i playing Candy crush(lol!) it just started again. I couldn't play because it kept going using the home button by itself. Starting voice control etc etc.. I have tried resetting rebooting the phone, I have tried to reset the phone and I have tried to recalibrate the home button. I mean, I could live with a  few seconds delays, but 10 hours? Nope  Any advice is appreciated, otherwise i'll guess I have to go to the closest store.

Sir I have purchased Iphone 5 on 3rd May 2013 from Ansar Galary, City Cetre Doha. On 1a June adopter for charger is burned. When I visited store to exchange the burned adopter, Anser gallary managment refused to replace/repair. They informed that no waranty for adapter. When I requested about complain for the same they refused to give any acknowledgemwnt for my coplain Now I want to knw that is it Apple started selling a product which cannot work for more than a month? If not what is the arrangment for replacement for faulty acessories? Is apple is going to take action against orgainagation/group who is responsible for packin/selling fauly acessories.

No S Card Installed on iphone 5

My iphone5 has been randomly giving me a "No SIM Card Installed" message occasionally over the past 2 days. Usually it goes away if I touch the screen but the last time I noticed there was a "No SIM" message where the Sprint bars should be before I hit the home button. After that it worked fine. This is troubling because my first 5 had the same problem the day after I got it. Apple replaced it after trying other things like changing out the SIM Card. They decided it had a defective card reader. And this phone is only a month or 2 old, the replacement phone messed up its sleep button after about 8 months.  Is this a problem that I don't need to worry about or a sign of imminent failure? I can't get to the Apple store this week and I'm taking a trip on Wednesday and really need my phone.   Thanks!
