facebook Crashing iPhone 4

Everytime I try to use facebook on my iPhone 4, it crashes freezes and closes.  It is extremely frustrating.  How can I stop this from happening?  It occurs when I try to post, scroll through newsfeed, comment, like, etc.  HELP.  (iOS 6.1.3, iPhone 4, AT&T)

Hi there! There are troubles with facebook Push notifications on my two iPhones 4 (iOS 6.1.2) and 4S (iOS6.1.3) and on my Macbook Pro 15 (OS X 10.8.3). There are no any push notifications about new messages or "likes" by integrated facebook App and by facebook app prom iTunes too. I have notifications in notification center about statuss updates and comments, but sounds there are no at all. Everything in settings are switched on:-Settings/facebook-Settings/Notifications/facebook-facebook/Account Settings/Notifications/Mobile Push I have done anything i can. Signed Out from all apps, deleted facebook App, swithed off and then swithed on notifications, Signed In again and again. What can i do to solve this problem? I realy need notifications about messages on iOS and OS X.

iPhone 5 camera problem

I just bought my iphone 5 one month ago then i realise my camera was not functioning, It always stuck in black screen when i try open the camera apps. I found out there are actually many people who bought iphone 5 suffered this problem when i try to look for resolution online. I want to go for warranty but my phone got dent on it's appearance. Therefore, apple told me that my phone was unable to warranty. However, my purpose to warranty is to fix the camera instead of the dent on my phone. Can apple fix my camera problem? I really feel sad and regret for purchase the phone now because of the problem i am facing now.  Hopefully apple can give me a satisfied answer. iphone 5 spontaneously vibrates in silent mode.

When my iphone sits in silent mode, sometimes it spontaneously vibrates with no notification. There's nothing that shows any notification for mail, facebook, twitter etc. Anyone else having this happen to them??

way of sharing my Macbook Pro's Wifi connection to iPhone 4 Not Using iPhone as hotspot for laptop other way around

So a nasty smash destroyed both Front & Back of my iPhone 4, and since having them replaced the Wifi signal has been really weak. I have seen other posts about screen replacement having to be done by going through the antenna, so something could be missing, or done incorrectly during the screen repair. Will definately be taking it back to the shop and finding out if It was put back together properly.  In the meantime I was wondering if it is possible to share my Macbook Pro's Wifi (always full signal in my house) directly to my iPhone either using USB cable or through bluetooth. It's not been too much of a problem but it would be nice to use my iPhone in bedroom using the Macbooks good signal.  Note: The replacement front screen on iPhone has a small gap >1mm between the screen and centre metal casing on the left side just above the Silent/Loud Switch, which can be noticed by light leaking through the gap. The metal casing also still has a small dent between the volume down buttons and silent/loud switch, again nothing drastic 1mm maximum

My iphone 5 loses battery extremely fast

Ok so my iPhone is pretty new I got it like a few weeks ago. It was fine at first but now it loses battery super quick. I charge it over night and in the morning when I unplug it I literally lose a percent immediately and then I check facebook for a bit and it goes down to 95-93%.Is this happening to anyone else? What do I do about it? I'm running on IOS 6.1.4 and have about 7GB left from my 32GB capacity.

iphone 5 camera won't focus

I updated my iPhone 5 to 6.1.4 and the camera will not focus - on anything nearby or far away. I've tried the zoom feature - makes it worse. I'm restoring the phone to factory settings, but is there something Apple is doing to fix this bug? An unscientific survey of my facebook friends reveals they are having the same issue.

Hi there, I'm trying to remove the facebook app from my iPhone5. I've held down the icon til it wiggles, pressed the X, deleted it. I've deleted it from my iTunes library. I've resynced my phone and it's not showing up and not mysteriously reinstalling on my phone (which it did a couple of times) which is great. I then go into my Settings folder on my phone, scroll down the bottom and find it there with Twitter. I click on it and it appears to be an install app for facebook - Install, Learn More, Sign In etc....  How do I get rid of it completely? As in: I don't want anything facebook on my phone. Nada. Zip. Zero. Nothing. No facebook. Is this possible or is there now some deal whereby facebook is now intrinsically tied with my iPhone5 and there's nothing to be done about it? I'm sorry if there's already been something about this but I really couldn't find it (or I didn't realise what I was looking at).  :- Cheers for the help.

Hello iPhone Users I am new to the iPhone world.  I purchased an iPhone from a retailer 3 months ago, I got it fixed last month because of the lock screen problem and I only got it back last week, my problem is that when I got it back there's a dent on it, I am very careful with my phone specially it was only months old. I went back to the local shop and ask if they could do something about it and they said that they can't because it was already taken out of the shop. So is there anything that Apple can do about it? I was thinking of selling my phone then get a new one instead but I thought it will cost me alot.

New facebook Update Not Working iPhone 4

A few weeks ago I updated to the new fb chat head feature on my iPhone 4 and it worked perfectly. However, the next day I got another update for the sticker feature, but after updating to this addition neither features appeared. The new fb was present, but my chat head feature was no longer there and no stickers either! facebook chat just appeared like it did before I updated any of it, but the other aspects (e.g. news feed, etc.) are updated. Does anyone know how this happened and what can I do to fix it?

Unable to open iPhone 5 S slot US bought phone

I bought an iPhone5 from the US, on AT&T carrier. I have now returned to Europe, and wish to change the SIM card. However the SIM card slot is there, but will not open. I have used the key / paperclip methods to try and open, and have taken to an Apple reseller for advice/assistance, but they were too unable to help. I understand there may be a reason why the phone may be SIM locked electronically, but can anyone advise if the hardware may itself be locked to prevent SIM removal? It appears strange that the slot is there but cannot not be opened.  I am hoping it is a hardware fault - if so I expect I will need to return for repair in the US? Or can I take to my nearest Apple store (Amsterdam) for warranty repair? Any advice would be appreciated.

Full Signal 3G but can't send txt messages IMessages or access internet. iPhone 4S

Wonder if anyone can help? Today my IPhone 4S was working normal and then my phone came up as not having a signal by saying "No Service". i turned it off and back on again then i had a signal "Vodafone 3G". i started to send txt messages and IMessages but these never sent and now all my messages are failing and its not letting me use the internet like facebook and that. I have also tried holding the top button in and the home button in at the same time and rebooting the software. But this still hasnt worked. Now my IPhone 4S is only working through Wifi. If i go out of a Wifi zone my phone doesnt let me send messages nor use internet. I can call fine and recieve calls. I am also not receving any txt messages or IMessages too. Hope someone can please help me. Sammyx

I have found a lot of app fro locking pictures and files, contacts, etc, Is there a way of locking down a folder that contains apps? Say i don't want someone opening my facebook app or other apps I have. Any help is appreciated.

No red bubble showing facebook notifications-help iPhone 3G

My facebook application will only show I have a notification if I click into the app.  I should be able to see that there is a notification with a red bubble that has a number in the top right hand side of the app on the home page.  If not, it defeats the purpose of not having to click into the application to check for updates.

Using apps on iphone .

When i am using the facebook app, twitter, or intragram app, the apps will just close out on its own and i have to click the app again to get back in it. Is there any way i can stop this? Does any one else have this problem?

facebook app disappeared and cannot retrieve iPhone 3G

I have an iPhone 4S, about a year now.  Yesterday I downloaded a facebook update and went to sleep.  Wake up in morning and facebook app is missing from phone.  It was on my front page, next to a blank spot, and now there are two blank spots in the bottom right of my front page.  Here is what I have tried: -Resetting phone (home+on/off button).  Reset 3-4 times, nothing.-Reinstalling app.  Looked up facebook app in app store, and shows as being installed.  So there is an "Open" button where there would be an "Install" button if I did not yet have the app.  I click the "Open" button and it does nothing, like it's a dead button.-Searching for facebook.  On the iOs "Search iPhone" bubble (swipe right on home screen) I search for facebook.  Nothing shows up but contacts.-Synching on iTunes.  App doesn't show up on list, tried a synch, reset phone, nothing worked. I have 111 apps installed across 7 pages (with a few blank spots scattered across).  I do not and never had "Restrictions" enabled.  I have not changed any other settings anytime recently.  I have 4 gigs of free space on my phone. Any guidance here would be appreciated...thanks!

I downloaded facebook to my iphone and lost all my data.  It then slowly came back except I lost all my phone/contacts.  Then my phone got disconnected.  My provider Optus re-connected my phone and don't know who or why it was disconnected.  I still have lost my contacts.  Now when I use another phone I get the msg that there are 3 on the conversation and also with my mobile number not displayed I get the number showing "Wombat Service"  what does this mean?  Is my phone being used by another person? and have they taken my contacts?  Not sure what is happening but my phone is playing tricks on me.  Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not send or receive msgs?  Could you please explain.  Thank you. What s wrong with my iphone

Ok so, since yesterday afternoon, while i was on my facebook, it suddenly popped out that there's a problem with the connection blah blah blah, but it was still connected to the wifi, so I just ignored it for a while, until i want to use it but i can't, coz every app that needs wifi was just loading & loading and it took forever but i wasn't updating to the latest post like that.. I opened my tumblr, twitter, instagram, imessage and facebook, but it's stuck on the same last post from yesterday. It really bothers me, I reset the network setting for a couple of times, and nothing happens.  If you're gonna ask what carrier i have, It's MTS but i don't have a sim. Yet i can still use it like an ipod.  the push notfication shows on my iphone, like when it's locked and someone message me on fb or retweet something on twitter. Then when i do open that notification, and the app will load then it'll stop.  I also updated it to the latest iOS (6.1.3) a month ago.  What do i need to do??? Need Help. 

my wifi only works when i put my 4s in refrigarator

hey guys  i bought my iphone 4s about 4 months ago, and about  month ago when i came back from camping i turned on my iphone wich was turned of for about 5 days (at home in my drawer). i had  9 updates listed on the app store and let them update  all off them at the same time. meanwhile i was also on a Viber call.(using wifi) then after 10 minutes or so the call died.the wifi could not connect anymore and later the wifi option turned grey and could not be turned on or off.i reset the iphone , and also rebooted the device . still the wifi option remained grey.during this period after, the iphone also was turning very hot  at times and the battery could not hold longer then 4 hours. about 2 weeks after the wifi option turned grey, one morning when i got up i realised that my battery percentage was still high(usually if i went to bed with 100% , it was about 50%or so when i got up.). then i went to the wifi option and realised that i could turn it on.it got connected to the wifi and check if it was working by opening facebook. i was functioning normally as if nothing had happened. i remember that  night was really cold and  i had my airconditioning on . that same day  i realised the wifi could not stay connected for long  to wifi . the battery issue remained normal when the wifi cant connect i put the iphone in the refrigarator for about ten minutes. and when i take it out the wifi works again after that the wifi can hold for about an 2 or more depending on what i do on my phone.  i did no try to take it for repair , not yet i just want to know if im the only one with this problem and what the problem really is.and if putting youre iphone in the refrigarator can do damage. thanks in advance

Can't receive facebook notifications since push notifications won’t save in the facebook app. Every time I click one it just refreshes and it reads in the yellow top bar “Changes Saved” but it unclicks the notifications I selected, any suggestions on how to fix this?

Description:Some of my friends, that are already in mine contact list, in FB have different names.So after synchronization of contacts with FB I got two contact entries for one person. Ok. I linked them together to get one united contact.And then choose to use for this united contact name from contact which was in my contact list before sync.And that's all ok until next synchronization of contacts with FB, wich forces contact list to use name of "FB part" of united contact,instead of choosen by me name of "phone contact list part". So we see, that synchronization with FB dosn't looks at user setting which name to use.Any suggestions?p.s. ok, I understand, that I can turn off the sync, but it seems to me, that correcting of the error would be better....
