If email has PDF attachment I cant read text portion of email iPhone 4

My iphone 4G works perfectly

I just wanted to offset some of the complaints on this board so people who are nervous about the phone will know it is a good buy. I havent had any issues at all with my phone. No yellow screen, no reduced reception (i am using the black bumper) and no problems with the camera shutter or email operations. All my functions work perfectly, speakerphone is loud, headphones are clear, and the battery life is great. I guess my question would be am I the only person who has never had any problems with an iphone? Because this forum makes it seem like they are guaranteed to have issues when they usually dont. Hotmail with iPhone 4

Im not very technical-minded and Ive tried to research this on the internet, but there are a load of terms I dont understand, and Im hoping a kind person on here could explain something to me in laymans terms..My boyfriend has an iPhone 4, and a hotmail account. Hes had this email account from the very beginning, and refuses to get rid of it, but it doesnt work beautifully with the phone like my macmail does, and he has to go into his emails to find out if theres a new one, and also if he deletes an email on his phone, it doesnt delete on his hotmail account on the computer. I have read something about gmail letting you forward messages from a hotmail account, does anyone know about this? iOS4 restore not keep app folders iPhone 4

Ive had to restore my iPhone 4 twice now from a backup, and each time Ive had to spend over an hour recreating folders and reorganizing my apps back into the folders the way I last had them. I guess this is a feature request for backups to retain folder placement and contents, please! The data structures needed seem to exist already and are used by iTunes to remember the apps layout there. Who Has Had Perfect iPhone 4 Experience

My iPhone experience has been flawless! I ordered on 6/16 in the evening with no problem. Received a ship by 7/14 date and a deliver by 7/14-7/19 date. I received an email from Apple on Friday that the order had been released and tracked the package a couple of times over the holiday at my lakehouse for the holiday and received it today (7/6) in mid-afternoon. The sync process was seamless, everything came over. Using the phone around town today, taking photos, sending and receiving texts, and I have not had problem #1. No dropping calls, no damaged or colored screen, no missing iPhone when I opened the box. The process has been very well done and the iPhone is really outstanding. The screen presentation is amazing, the new form factor is much easier too handle than any of the previous versions. Given that I cant believe everyone writing in is hallucinating, or incompetent or worse, lying...I wonder how many have an excellent experience like I have? Emails deleted in Entourage still appear on iphone

I am using 3G iphone (4.0.2) and sync with Entourage 2008 on intel Mac through Exchange server. Had been working fine. Recently - messages deleted in Entourage dont delete on the iphone - very aggravating. I can send email from iphone fine, I can delete messages on iphone and they delete in entourage. I have opened my email and have been sent an email no subject, no content 01/01/1970. I tried to delete it and it would not allow I now have several of these messages I cannot clear down. Battery percentage issue iPhone 4

When I charge my phone to 100% overnight (wall) and unplug it, the battery literally drops to 99% within a minute of usage (email checking etc). It happened this morning and then I rebooted the phone which knocked it back to 100% for an extra 10 mins or so till it went to 99%. It also seems to drop fairly fast...I tried exiting all my background apps which helped a bit but not really. restoring the phone, etc...Ive got push email on, wifi on, push notifications on, Bluetooth off. Right now Im at 88% battery usage with 1 hr 5 mins usage (browsing) and 1 hr 22 mins standby. Does this seem weird?Ive restored with backup, restored as a new phone and same problem. I was thinking it might be a rogue app but Ive exited everything - an app couldnt cause battery drain just by being installed could it? Dell Windows 7

have 2 imap accounts and a gmail account (set up as exch) which i have set up on a 15 minute fetch. charged it to 100% before going to bed last night and this morning my usage when i checked was 28m usage and 9 hours standby and battery is on 99% --i turn off 3G and use wifi.those numbers seem about right for a 15 minute of 3 email accounts?

Accepting invites iPhone 4

I have an iphone 4 and my wife has a blackberry. When we send each other invites by email we can see the invite but can not open it an thus does populate our calenders. I just downloaded google calen and this takes me to the internet to my email account and using this app I can send a invite to my wifes blackberry and she can accept it and it will populate her calender. But how can she send me a invite from her blackberry so that I can accept it on my iphone. Basically with google calen I can now send an invite but I need help ACCEPTING AN INVITE FROM A BLACKBERRY. iPhone 4 Problem With email and Spotlight

I have a problem... When i try to delete a discussion on Mail the application just quits and i have to hard reset to get it to work. And that is not all when i try to search in spotlight iphone for the weather a weird application called Web shows up as the top hit, and i have never used it so i try it immedietly after i do the iphone 4 shows the apple screen and restarts. So what do i do? Disappointment iPhone 4

I recently bought an iPhone 4 through Bell in Canada. There are three different service providers in my area, and out of those, Bell is supposed to be the only one that will cover my area. After a full year of trying to get my hands on the iPhone, I frantically rushed home only to find that there was no service. I did some more research and found out that EVERY other Smart Phone in the area can get service except for the iPhone 4. I was told I would be able to get service and was disappointed. Now Im left with a phone that I have to drive to the next community (which is around 15 minutes away) to get service.I am disappointed in the product. I am also planning on contacting Bell. Hopefully Apple and Bell can arrange something to try and get service in the area, because as it stands, my phone is basically useless to me.What exactly should I do about this? Is there either email I can use to contact someone and try to get things sorted out before things get too late? And finally, why is it that iPhones cant get service in the area but yet every other model of phone (ie. How I transfer High Quality Video off iPhone to Computer

Hey guys,I searched and couldnt find my answer on the forum! I recorded a video with my iPhone 4 and it looks awesome on the phone but when I send it to email or upload it to my Facebook Account it looses like 50% of the great quality once it shows up on Facebook. Now my question is.....If I have recorded something on my phone...and want that video with the great quality it shows while PLAYING on my phone...how do I get that video transfered to my computer WITHOUT lossing any quality at all? Weird glitch. Everytime I open Photos app it instantly creates new email iPhone 4

Empty address bar and what isnt even the newest picture in the roll. I even deleted all instances of the picture it is using and it still does it. As soon as I open up Photos, I just tries to email that same picture everytime. Its annoying having to click cancel, then delete draft every-time. I checked my drafts folder too, empty. Dial strings with non-numerics not pass from email app to phone app iPhone

Ive noticed that I can create a contact with a dial string that includes non numerics, and can successfully place a call from that contact entry. For example, the following dial string, 1115551212,,123456# will dial (111)555-1212, pause for a few seconds, and then enter 123456#. This could be useful for dialing into a corporate voicemail system and then having the phone automatically transmit your password digits so you dont have to fumble with manual password entry.However, Ive discovered that if the exact same string is included in the subject of an email, when you click on the number youre asked if you want to dial the number (same as clicking on any number in an email subject line or text body), but when you click on Dial, nothing happens. It appears that the mail application is unable to pass a dial string with non-numerics to the phone application, even though you can dial the exact same string from a contacts entry successfully.Anyone know if theres a fix in the works for this issue, or possibly a workaround? iPhone 3GS iOS 4

I got my iphone 4 today & activated it. I used my back up to restore my stuff. Well I went online to try to get the iOS 4 update, but it says I have the latest version 4. I dont have the book thing that I keep seeing. I dont even see anything about facetime or nothing. There is no difference on my icons except I can put them into folders. My flash is to much & turns the picture blue. I dont even know what Im doing wrong or what to do. Do the 4s come with the update everyone is getting? Iphone 4 iOS4 folders Response Time

Hi everyone,I noticed this on my 3GS since i installed iOS4...when i open a folder with 3 or 4 apps or less it opens flawlessly, very smothly...but i noticed that when i open a folder with 9 apps for instance, it opens with a slight delay (response) during the opening process i mean...I had this on my 3GS and told myself i would not have this on the iP4 as it has a faster CPU/memory.It does not bother me much but wonders if some of you noticed the same?Thanks MBP 3.1 Mac OS X (10.6.4) Iphone 3GS OS4

Lost all purchased items when couldnt change email address and md new acct iPhone 4

Just bought the new iPhone4 but now have a huge issue I was not previously aware of. Why is it that even Apple has the notion that no one ever changes their email address? You must enter your email address to be able to log on and find out why the log in is not accepting your password or username. You are then told you will be notified at your registered email address WHICH I NO LONGER HAVE. Receiving emails at a defunct email address does no one any good.So, I signed up as a new account with apple but now my purchased items are locked away from me and do not show up as useable on my new MacBook Pro nor my new iPhone4.How can I resolve this painting myself into a corner issue?TIA,Ken Powerbook G4 Mac OS X (10.5.7) 2G RAM

Facetime Waiting for Activation Issue When switching S cards iPhone 4

I have an unlocked iPhone 4 from the UK. I first had an Orange France SIM card installed and all went well... Facetime was working fine. However, when I came to Dubai I inserted my local (Etisalat) SIM. The phone was functioning ok, except for Facetime. When I tried to switch it on from Settings, it kept saying Waiting for Activation.I am an advanced user. So, all basic things are checked: WiFi, Tried to reboot phone, tried hard reset, even tried Total restore, tried different WiFi network, SMS working, MMS working, 3G working...etc. I even tried the solution on Apples site (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4246).... Still no luck.Few things to note:1) I have a friend who has iPhone 4 on the same Etisalat network, and his Facetime works fine. The only difference is that Etisalat was the first SIM he put in.2) I tried to switch back to my Orange SIM while still in Dubai, and at first, Facetime showed Waiting for Activation, BUT when I rebooted, it was active and working fine... tried to insert the Etisalat SIM after that... and back to waiting for activation issue.3) Did same above with my AT&T SIM ... and got same result as with Orange France SIM4) Tried to call 888-facetime and they just referred me to the case referenced above, and the simple answer that your carrier may not support it! Thanks!!! I told the guy I know someone on the same network working on Facetime.I think the problem is that Facetime needs to be re-registered from the Orange # to the Etisalat # and for some reason that is not happening smoothly to the Etisalat #... However, how can I get that done... I cannot even find an email address to send to apple regarding this problem...If any of the Apple Tech staff reading this please respond!!! THANKS. iPhone 4 iOS 4

Good morning fellow Apple Discussion Users,I would like to know if anyone else has had the same problem with getting help from Apple on the iPhone 4 antenna issue, and if so what was it that you were able to do to get the problem fixed.Please read my situation below and let me know if there is anything you think that might help.Thank you.On Friday the 13th of August 2010 I drove an hour to the nearest Apple retail store that had the iPhone 4 32 GB in stock and purchased my first iPhone. Although it isnt too significant to my experience please keep in mind that in the past four to five years I have been a loyal customer to Apple by purchasing three MacBook Pros, two iPod Touches, one iPod Video, and subscribing to MobileMe.When I arrived at the Apple retail store I spoke with an Apple iPhone specialist and asked him if the iPhone 4 antenna problem been resolved yet. He replied that it has and that Apple has started a free iPhone 4 case program as the solution. I asked him to show me what cases I would have to choose from and he replied saying that they do not carry any cases at all in the store because corporate needed all the case inventory to distribute to those that need it. The iPhone specialist then explained to me that I would need to download the free case App. from the App. store and follow the directions.So, after spending thirty dollars more than what I had already projected to purchase the iPhone for, I went home and synced my new iPhone with my iTunes account and updated my iPhone to ISO 4.0.2. I then proceeded to load the free iPhone case program. I then chose the case I wanted and completed my order. I then received my order confirmation by email, which said that the case wouldnt be shipped until September 14, 2010. This didnt bother me because the case was free and I had already put screen protectors on my iPhone and didnt really see the need for a case right now anyways.However, after using the iPhone Saturday and today and experiencing bad reception and dropped calls I became quite irritated, as I never experienced this with my previous wireless carriers that I have used in my same current coverage area. I even checked AT&Ts coverage map and it listed my area of having full support and coverage of both data and voice. It was then made clear to me that the issues I was having was related to Apples iPhone 4 antenna problem, so I decided to call them about this and to see what they can do about getting this resolved because there is no way that I should have to wait close to a month for a case to resolve the issue while spending money on my service plan for crappy service due to an Apple defect.I spent over an hour speaking with two different Apple customer service agents and I had three dropped calls during this period. I asked them if there was anyway to just give me a credit of the retail value for the case I picked and then cancel my free case order, so that I may go purchase a case at AT&T now and fix the problem I am having with my iPhone. After the second time of having my phone call dropped I had to call them back myself and ended up talking to someone different than before. This gentleman had informed me that they had cancelled my free case order, but can not give me any type of credit or rebate for a case, so that I can go purchase one. He then had his supervisor get on the line with us.As you can imagine, this really ticked me off! So, not only did they cancel my order for the free case without my consent, but now they are telling me that there is nothing they can do to help me except to restart my original order and to wait until it is delivered to me to fix the iPhone antenna problem. I explained to them how unprofessional and inappropriate it is to have to make a customer of theirs let a lone a very loyal one have to wait for almost a month for a case in order to fix a defect that is their fault, but yet there are stores that have iPhone 4 cases in stock that could fix the problem right away. They of course didnt care and continued to tell me that there isnt anything they can do to help. I then proceeded to ask them if a $25.00 case/credit/rebate is worth losing a loyal customer and $360.00, as I will be returning the iPhone 4 if they are unwilling to fix the problem thus making me have to go out and spend my own money to fix the issue myself in order to have a functioning iPhone. Their response was more of the same that they offer a free case and that I would just have to wait and what I decide to do is my decision to make.So, it seems to me that Apple really doesnt care if they lose a customer or a loyal one for that matter. I then proceeded to call and speak with an Apple Care agent and of course there wasnt anything that the gentleman I talked to could do, but at least he was understanding of reason and also agreed that the whole iPhone case program is flawed and adds to the problem more so than it does to fix it. After speaking with the Apple Care agent we agreed that once Apple realized the solution to the antenna defect that anyone who was to buy an iPhone 4 should have been given a bumper or case at the same time as they purchased their iPhone. Ok, so you may not have a choice in what model you get or color, but if its free and it fixes the defect immediately then who cares, I know I dont.I would much rather sport a hot pink band of rubber around my iPhone if that meant I would not have dropped calls or bad call reception when I am in a fully covered area. Then when I had the ability to do so I would buy a replacement of my choice. Its not like Apple is offering any free cases that I would personally buy for my iPhone if I had the choice to do so anyways. Well, I decided it would be in my best interest to first go out and spend my own money for a case to see if that in fact solves the problem before spending the gas and time to drive back to the Apple store to return the iPhone, which I would then have to wait for the credit to post on my credit card account. Not to mention cancel my new account with AT&T and be without both a phone and service until I received my credit to buy a new phone.I would like to know what everyone else feels about what I had to say about my experience with Apple today. Still receiving emails even with PushFetch off on mail app. iPhone 4

This is getting really annoying. I had my PUSH/FETCH off but I am still receiving mails from the mail app. I have to email accounts Gmail and Hotmail, Ive changed the ADVANCED FETCH into manually too. Still no luck. Is this actually an OS issue? My usage and standby time are the same as each other as I keep track of it. The only way to solve this is to switch off my gmail and hotmail manually in settings. I have 4.0.1 installed on my iPhone. I have it set to push Yahoo, GMail and MobileMe mail. Ive noticed lately that it wont push any email over night. Syncing two iPhones to one iTunes application

My wife and I have individual phones but we are using the same computer with one iTunes application. Currently, the iTunes program recognizes the individual phones, apps, music, and other information when connected for each phone. The problem we are having deals specifically with the contacts for each phone when they synced. When we sync a phone, using gmail (which asks for an address and password), the process combines our contacts. My question are 1. Why does the iTunes program recognize that each phone is unique with the acception contacts? 2. If my wife and I have separate iTunes accounts, why does the iTunes program not recognize the accounts as separate for contacts (like email accounts for example)?3. Is there a way to sync two phones (with different accounts) to the same iTunes program without mixing contacts? iPhone 4 iOS 4

jerky folders animation normal iPhone 4

Hi guys,I have a 16GB iPhone 4 and its now running iOS 4.0.2. I have 58 apps total and about 6.38GB of free space left. On my home screen Ive set up 4 folders with 3, 12, 8, 3 apps in each folder. Every time I tap on a folder to open and close, especially the ones with more apps in them, I get a slightly jerky animation. Like a split second jerk before it opens up totally. Do any of you have this effect on your iPhone 4s? My brother has a 16GB 3Gs also running iOS 4.0.2 and his folders open up smooth like butter even with max number of apps in them. Scrolling text, lists and websites and swipes are all fine. Only my folders opening and closing animation isnt as smooth as Id like it to be.I dont know if i should call this a problem since its really no big deal. Just an irritant. Besides having to install/restore on another computer before I could actually do anything... Ive now FINALLY got my iPhone 3G working again BUT I dont have any of the new features that come with the iOS4 update except for the folders feature. Iphone 3g mailboxes going crazy since upgrading software

I upgraded my iphone 3g software last night and now my email is going crazy with unread messages. Messages that I had previously read are now showing up as unread and I am forced to clean out dozens if not hundreds of emails. after updating to ios 4, i realized that the only obvious new features were the folders and camera zoom. the new ios has made my apps slower in loading and they also tend to freeze when i am in the middle of using them. i have considered switching back to ios3.1.3. are there any other ways to solve this problem? last night strange noise emitting from 3G possibly overheating iPhone 3G

last night, i was using my iPhone pretty much, texting and internet, and i did test out the video playback as well. btw i was using Atomic web browser from the app store for the internet browsing. and about a few minutes later the phone got kinda hot and out came a single high-pitched beeeep sound for about 1 to 2 seconds. it wasnt the random email notification as other posts have mentioned. possibly the battery? cause it sure sounded like it was coming from the phone. thanks. just wondering what this sound is. iPhone 3G - 16 GB iOS 4

Unexpected shut down via low battery not really low battery iPhone 3G

Running version 3.1.3, take a picture with the camera, open safari, open a picture in a email, etc. sometimes the phone just shuts down. Battery will be 90%-100%, however immediately shows a low battery and will turn off. Hook up to either a wall charger or via computer USB and the battery returns to 90%-100%. Hard resets, restore, etc. all have no effect. Sent the phone in for a Battery replacement to apple, they returned the phone with out replacing the battery and indicated that the battery was fine and they could not duplicate the problem. iphone phone software infuriating

I have just become a new user of the iphone with my new iphone 4 and this is also my first touch screen phone. Very excited about the ease of use of many of the functions/apps that have been opened up to me. However I am very disappointed with the phones functions. It seems to take a very long time to find a persons name to make a simple call. This is basically because of there not being buttons and having to use the touch screen. Yes you can put some people into favourites but not too many otherwise it becomes just as hard to find that name as looking for it in contacts. It would be helped by being able to put groups into the favourites (e.g. family, friends, work etc) but dont think it will ever be as fast as having buttons that you can pretty much use without looking.Also annoying is in messages when trying to write a text that the send button is just above the o and p and myself and people I know have on a number of occasions sent texts before finishing it then having to send another one explaining why I just sent an incomplete text. Why cant the button be up the top like when writing an email on the iphone?Are there ways around some of my issues that I havent worked out or can apple maybe read this and hopefully correct some of these issues?Im sure Ill have more to say the more I play with it but Ill still have fun with the other things the device is more than capable of. iphone 4 iOS 4

What fixed my iPhone 3G on slow 4.0.1

I cant say for definite that any of this will help anyone but I thought Id share what Ive got.On upgrading my 3G from 3.1.3 to 4.0.0 it went a bit iffy. On upgrading to 4.0.1 it went to the same awful place that most have been describing here.By luck more than intelligence and with the help thats available by a quick and simple Google I downgraded to 3.1.3. I had copied my 3.1.3 back up and my 4.0.1 back up to separate folders (so there was a little bit of intelligence going on !!).Things did not go smoothly though. The restore I wanted to use wouldnt show in iTunes and I had to move the restore files in the MobileSync folder around a bit before I got what I needed. I believe I set the iPhone up as a new phone to finally get it to do what I wanted it to do but after completing the downgrade and restore I then managed to re-upgrade to 4.0.1 automatically through iTunes - I was kicking myself with both legs at this point.Anyway, I restored with my 4.0.1 backup but then iTunes kept generating an error message. Following another quick Google I learned that there might be duplicate/corrupt files to look for. Sure enough I discovered that 3 voice memos had become 3 x 3 voice memos. I copied the originals to a safe place, deleted all 9 from iTunes, synced, and then restored the 3 originals - job done.It was a prime opportunity to have a flipping good tidy up so I deleted all the apps I dont use which was a surprisingly high percentage (and you know its the same for you !!) and then I reinstalled all the others one by one.In line with recommendations found in several of the high-volume threads for this long-ignored problem I have also: Reset Network Settings in General/Settings, removed all search criteria in General/Home Button/Spotlight Search, unfoldered any folders, done a couple of double hard resets, and smeared the handset with vanilla and passion fruit flavoured probiotic yoghurt whilst singing Rihannas Umbrella backwards in Swedish… twice… but then I havent got Colin from Hulls Jack Russell to lick my phone in the morning for me.I later discovered that Bento 3 had been massacring data willy-nilly - in particular there seemed to be an issue with media files. I backed up all the Bento data on my computer, trashed Bento from the iPhone, reinstalled Bento to the iPhone, and then synced all the data afresh - job done. A very important point in Bento is that before you sync or back up you should always close Bento down on your computer and re-open it as it seems to need that in order to verify any amendments you have made. Bento syncs have gone from minutes to seconds now.My iPhone is working just fine on 4.0.1 now - the odd tiny lag, sure, but I believe thats always been the case. I managed to retain all of my data including text messages and everything, phew. I have no idea which of the million things I did that ultimately fixed the problem but the 3G clearly is capable of running 4.0.1 - the problem seems to lie with how the upgrade process itself took place and whether there were deficiencies in that area or whether maybe the users current iPhone data condition plays more of a part. This final point opens up a whole raft of other questions because I never corrupted my data - Apple Updates, iPhone, and iTunes apparently did that for me !!For the record: I never had a bazillion apps on my iPhone, I regularly back up, I try to keep things tidy, I always bag every update that Apple recommend. It seems the whole concept of iPhones and iTunes keeping things simple isnt working any more - Im a bit nerdy so I seem to have resolved this problem and have hopefully dug deep enough into duplicates and/or corruptions to bode well for the future…… but thats not true for most people.Apple - shame on you… your long, long silence is deafening.Complain here: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html - dont just assume that other people will do it - you need to do it too. How to transfer SMS iPhone

Hi All, i will be getting my iphone in a few days time but would need to transfer a few things. & would appreciate all the help i need. I am currently using a nokia phone & i know to sync contacts would be to use outlook which would then be sync into my iphone. But for sms ....1) is there any way i can transfer my nokia sms into my iphone ? from nokia -> com -> iphone ?2) is there any apps in iphone that helps to organize my sms into different folders like nokia ?thanks alot ! sony viao iOS 4

Problems sending emails with iPhone 3G and outlook exchange

I have a problem sending email with exchange. Receiving and answering mail works fine and calender updates work fine. However when I initiate an email from the phone it syncs and ends up in the sent folder in the computer but never reaches the recipient. I have tried this many times with different recipients and phones. It only happens from my iphone and ipad. iOS4 on iP 3G. email accunt reset itself iPhone

Hello:Upgraded to iOS4.0 the day when released. It was awesome but after 10 days or so it started getting choppy. Upgraded to iOS4.0.1 the day when released. It was again awesome but after 5-10 days it becoming choppy again..It got so worse that whenever my iphone freezes for more than 1min.. it reboots itself and also looses some of my data.. Specially, if it freezes on my email it would loose all my emails and resets itself.. So now I have more than 70 unread emails (as my outlook is not auto sync capable).. It is frustrating.. Does anyone have this issue?? Do not bother calling iphone care.. as they charge for the care (more than 2 yrs).. I am ******.. Cannot inform apple care about this issue.. iphone missing email body

I have an iphone 3G at 4.0.1 , which recently started not displaying email message body for all messages.First few lines of email display OK, as per normal, in the email list.To recover the missing email body, a simple reboot of iphone is sufficient.I can reproduce the problem by:1) Sending an email with a PDF.2) Downloading email onto iphone.3) Save to ibooks.4) Ta Da - missing email body in all messages.I have done this experiment on ipod, and iphone 3GS.(I note that other iphone users have previously reported problems with various PDF readers)...so...somewhere a bug in the PDF readers and theway they interact with iphone mail app.Please fix ASAP!nickf 3G iOS 4

Migrating from iPhone 3G to iPhone 4

Ive already read similar posts that posed the same question. The replies referenced Apple Support article HT2109. However, there are a couple of steps obviously missing from this article. Here are the issues Im concerned with.1. The iPhone 4 comes with a new SIM card. At what point in the migration process is that card supposed to be installed in the new iPhone 4?2. I was told by ATT that the new iPhone must be activated by calling ATT. Again, at what point in the migration process does the phone need to be activated or is it activated by iTunes somehow?3. My iPhone 3G is running the latest version of iOS. The iPhone 4 fresh out of the box is not. Will this cause a problem? Will the iPhone 4s OS be upgraded during the migration process?Someone has suggested starting fresh on the iPhone 4 instead of migrating. Id rather not have to install the at least 50 apps or migrate all of my email settings, so this is not an optimal solution. PowerMac G5 Mac OS X (10.4.6)
