Hi theretoday when I connected my ip4, iTunes asked me to download and install the latest iOS 4.0.2, after that it went into a recovery mode loop and I cant do muh more. I have so far tried to restore using 3 other pc´s, xp and Win7. Tried different USB cable, disable firewall/antivirus, but nothing helps. I am constantly getting an error 9, but I have seen error 2009 and 3194 as well (tried about 10 times so far).Dont know what else to tryThanks in advance for any feedback. iOS 4
I need some help or advice. My iPhone crashed when I upgrade from 4.01 to 4.02. It asked me whether I would like to reset. I said yes thinking it will take me back to 4.01. Actually it takes me back to the day I purchased the phone. That is to say, I lost all my programmes ( I can download them again). The worst part is, I lost my phonebook and emails account. Can anyone tell me whether my phonebook and emails account were backup somewhere in my computer? Appreciate for the help. DELL Inspiron 640m iOS 4 Windows XP

Hi,I need major help. I just recorded a ton of videos of our family trip to Disneyland on the iPhone 4 but it wont let me download it onto my Macbook. I used the almost DLSR app and neither iPhoto or Preview will allow me to download any of the video footages. I guess almost DSLR creates a different file that cant be recognized. It looks like its still a .mov file but the file must be in some other unrecognizable format. Preview gave me this error message:The operation couldnt be completed (com.apple.ImageCaptureCore error -9912)All of my iPhone 4 and iTunes is up to date. Is there anyway of just extracting the video footage via Finder? Thanks. MacBook Mac OS X (10.5.6)

I upgraded to OS 4.0 when it first came out and had nothing but problems with the installation and download and losing everything. I didnt upgrade to OS 4.0.1 and now there is OS 4.0.2. Any problems people are experiencing with 4.0.2 before I even attempt to download and install? I dont want to waste any time if there are problems and just leave well enough with what I have even though everything I do on my phone now takes forever. iPhone 3 iOS 4
Hello iPhone 3G Community,I have an iPhone 3G with the older OS 3.1.2 firmware. Im beginning to download new Apps, like Netflix for iPhone and the ESPN Fantasy Football Draft Kit which require OS 3.1.3.Apple seems to be only offering iOS 4 now, but Im not interested in upgrading the 3G to iOS 4. How can I go to OS 3.1.2? If I had a 3GS, or iPhone4 Id be more comfortable making the switch iOS 4, but I rather not with my 3G.What are my options? Will my 3G become a brick because I missed the boat on upgrading to OS 3.1.3? I wasnt wanting to upgrade my hardware to 3GS or iPhone4 just yet, but I may have to if I cant go to OS 3.1.3 with my 3G.Thanks for your help.-TJPS: Im also not interested in jailbreaking - that just sounds like trouble, even if it is legal and all - but if its possible, this may be another option. I have Comcast Cable internet that I access wirelessly through an AE base station. All my devices connect by wifi. When I run a speed test on the 2 computer, an imac and MB Pro, I use Speedtest.net flash website. On there I see the download speeds that I expect to see with my service level. On my iphone and ipad I use the speedtest.net app and always see lower speeds at least on the download side. Now everything works well, no wifi issues and the speeds are very good - I actually have no complaints at all. Im just curious why there is such a difference. I realize that each time one of these tests is run its just a snapshot of that moment in time and will vary and that a flash website may well give a different result than an onboard app. But Im still curious and wonder if anyone has an explanation I might understand. Hello everyone, Wondering if anyone else is having issue installing iPhone config profiles. I have an iPhone 3G with iOS4. Also downloaded and installed the latest (2.2) iPhone config utility and created a new settings profile, and uploaded it to my server.when i hit the link and attempt to download/install the profile, Safari errors out with Safari Could not install a profle due to an unknown error.(tested with two different 3G phones running iOS 4.0. same issue) That same newly created profile, was installed/tested on a 3.1.3 3G phone and it works fine. Any help would be greatly apperciated, as this is our corporate profile, and we need to get it working before we can allow any upgrades. MBA rev1 Mac OS X (10.6.1)
Just before I hit the upgrade button to download iOS4, iTunes reported that some of my apps on my iPhone werent backed up, or synced.I hit sync and they still werent backed up. I tried Transfer Purchases from iPhone... and they still wont back up. I am pretty sure most of the apps that refuse to sync were downloaded from the App Store on my iPhone. How can I force iTunes to recognise them? I really dont want to lose the data when a new OS comes out or an upgrade comes along. Any one else had this problem?Any help appreciated.Marcus Mac Pro (Quad Core 2.66GHz Intel Xeon) Mac OS X (10.6.4)

When I plugged in my iPhone to my desktop, it told me that I could download a new version of iTunes. I did, and then I got an error message while downloading (I didnt record the error message like a dummy). Now, I am left with the icons to connect to iTunes on my phones screen. The only problem is that I cant connect to iTunes anymore. I cant use my phone, and I cant connect even though I just connected before trying to download the new version of iTunes.Ive tried restarting my computer and the phone. I have also plugged in and pulled out my iPhones connection as well as restarting iTunes to no avail. I dont want to download a new version of iTunes since I have playlists that I have worked a good deal on. Is there anything else I can do? 3G iPhone OS 3.0
I have tried on more than 7 or more occasions, losing loads of money at the same time on my broadband connection (Kenyan) and in more than one location - to download the latest update for my iphone 3G. The download is 305mb. In itunes it downloads the whole update and then gives an error message.....3549 or something like that and tells me server connection failed. At first I believed this. Now I do not as in another location my broadband was faster and also I have downloaded an up-date for an old ipod on a same day that I tried my iphone update. Questions: Is the download worth it???? and what is the problem with that particular download?? Toshiba Satellite Windows Vista
hi,i have a problem to syncronize apps of my iPhone, which i bougth at ebay (with a lot of apps), with my pc. iTunes warns me, syncronizing will erase all the legal installed apps. i tried a lot of tips to backup the apps on my iPhone to my computer but none of these tips were successful. my question: is it possible to transfer the apps from the former user, of whom i bought the iPhone, to my account (so i can reset the iPhone and download and install the apps again? iPhone 3G iOS 4
Good morning fellow Apple Discussion Users,I would like to know if anyone else has had the same problem with getting help from Apple on the iPhone 4 antenna issue, and if so what was it that you were able to do to get the problem fixed. Please read my situation below and let me know if there is anything you think that might help.Thank you.On Friday the 13th of August 2010 I drove an hour to the nearest Apple retail store that had the iPhone 4 32 GB in stock and purchased my first iPhone. Although it isnt too significant to my experience please keep in mind that in the past four to five years I have been a loyal customer to Apple by purchasing three MacBook Pros, two iPod Touches, one iPod Video, and subscribing to MobileMe.When I arrived at the Apple retail store I spoke with an Apple iPhone specialist and asked him if the iPhone 4 antenna problem been resolved yet. He replied that it has and that Apple has started a free iPhone 4 case program as the solution. I asked him to show me what cases I would have to choose from and he replied saying that they do not carry any cases at all in the store because corporate needed all the case inventory to distribute to those that need it. The iPhone specialist then explained to me that I would need to download the free case App. from the App. store and follow the directions. So, after spending thirty dollars more than what I had already projected to purchase the iPhone for, I went home and synced my new iPhone with my iTunes account and updated my iPhone to ISO 4.0.2. I then proceeded to load the free iPhone case program. I then chose the case I wanted and completed my order. I then received my order confirmation by email, which said that the case wouldnt be shipped until September 14, 2010. This didnt bother me because the case was free and I had already put screen protectors on my iPhone and didnt really see the need for a case right now anyways. However, after using the iPhone Saturday and today and experiencing bad reception and dropped calls I became quite irritated, as I never experienced this with my previous wireless carriers that I have used in my same current coverage area. I even checked AT&Ts coverage map and it listed my area of having full support and coverage of both data and voice. It was then made clear to me that the issues I was having was related to Apples iPhone 4 antenna problem, so I decided to call them about this and to see what they can do about getting this resolved because there is no way that I should have to wait close to a month for a case to resolve the issue while spending money on my service plan for crappy service due to an Apple defect.I spent over an hour speaking with two different Apple customer service agents and I had three dropped calls during this period. I asked them if there was anyway to just give me a credit of the retail value for the case I picked and then cancel my free case order, so that I may go purchase a case at AT&T now and fix the problem I am having with my iPhone. After the second time of having my phone call dropped I had to call them back myself and ended up talking to someone different than before. This gentleman had informed me that they had cancelled my free case order, but can not give me any type of credit or rebate for a case, so that I can go purchase one. He then had his supervisor get on the line with us.As you can imagine, this really ticked me off! So, not only did they cancel my order for the free case without my consent, but now they are telling me that there is nothing they can do to help me except to restart my original order and to wait until it is delivered to me to fix the iPhone antenna problem. I explained to them how unprofessional and inappropriate it is to have to make a customer of theirs let a lone a very loyal one have to wait for almost a month for a case in order to fix a defect that is their fault, but yet there are stores that have iPhone 4 cases in stock that could fix the problem right away. They of course didnt care and continued to tell me that there isnt anything they can do to help. I then proceeded to ask them if a $25.00 case/credit/rebate is worth losing a loyal customer and $360.00, as I will be returning the iPhone 4 if they are unwilling to fix the problem thus making me have to go out and spend my own money to fix the issue myself in order to have a functioning iPhone. Their response was more of the same that they offer a free case and that I would just have to wait and what I decide to do is my decision to make. So, it seems to me that Apple really doesnt care if they lose a customer or a loyal one for that matter. I then proceeded to call and speak with an Apple Care agent and of course there wasnt anything that the gentleman I talked to could do, but at least he was understanding of reason and also agreed that the whole iPhone case program is flawed and adds to the problem more so than it does to fix it. After speaking with the Apple Care agent we agreed that once Apple realized the solution to the antenna defect that anyone who was to buy an iPhone 4 should have been given a bumper or case at the same time as they purchased their iPhone. Ok, so you may not have a choice in what model you get or color, but if its free and it fixes the defect immediately then who cares, I know I dont.I would much rather sport a hot pink band of rubber around my iPhone if that meant I would not have dropped calls or bad call reception when I am in a fully covered area. Then when I had the ability to do so I would buy a replacement of my choice. Its not like Apple is offering any free cases that I would personally buy for my iPhone if I had the choice to do so anyways. Well, I decided it would be in my best interest to first go out and spend my own money for a case to see if that in fact solves the problem before spending the gas and time to drive back to the Apple store to return the iPhone, which I would then have to wait for the credit to post on my credit card account. Not to mention cancel my new account with AT&T and be without both a phone and service until I received my credit to buy a new phone.I would like to know what everyone else feels about what I had to say about my experience with Apple today. I personally think Apple needs to get their act together and priorities straight.Thanx,AMMOCAN MacBook Pro 5,3-2.8, 4 GB RAM MacBook Pro 4,1-2.5, 4 GB RAM Mac OS X (10.6.4) Black Satin MBP Speck Cover; 23" Dell SP2309W LCD Flat Panel IPhone 4

Twice the new update 4.0.2 has terminated with the lost connection to the server comment at approximately the same point, also erasing all the download. A 3 hour update to boot. Is there a reason for this to be happening? HP-V5029US Windows XP
I just upgraded to OS4.0.2 and have lost some of the functionality I had with my Ford Sync system with the previous OS. Specifically, now my phone book will not download to Sync so I cant call a contact by voice command through Sync as I did with previous SW.If I call the contact via the iphone, then I can talk using the Sync system and I can answer new calls or end a call, etc. I can call a number as long as I know the number, I just cannot call using the contact name in my phone book. The phone book will just not download and sync tells me my phone doesnt support that function. Is this another Apple improvement to get us to buy the IPhone 4? Desktop PC iOS 4
The main problem with my own iPhone 3G after the upgrade to IOS 4 was constant black screen freezing (at least five times per day if not more) and a little bit of a lag when running apps. These are the things I tried:Providing enough space on the hard drive (3GB spare) - Didn’t work.Turned off wifi - Didn’t work.Turned off location services - Didn’t work.Turned off Bluetooth - Didn’t work.Turned off all Push Data - Didn’t work.Full restore - Didn’t work.Full restore on brand new account followed by another restore on my account - Didn’t work.Using a ‘memory free-up’ App - Had a marginal effect on the lag but didn’t stop the freezing up.Turned off all spotlight options - Didn’t work.I contacted Apple twice throughout this process. The first one told me to download the firmware for 3.1.3 from a third party website and restore using this. I tried it but got caught in the loop on recovery mode insisting that I upgrade to 4.0.1 before I can exit recovery.I contacted Apple again to ask them how to get out of recovery after downgrading to 3.1.3 and they basically told me that I should never have been told to do this and the only way out of recovery is to upgrade to 4.0.1. I think my previous advisor got into a bit of trouble for that one.I told them their upgrade had basically broken my phone and that it was becoming as good as useless, bearing in mind I’d had no problems with it when running 3.1.3. They refused to accept that IOS 4 was the problem as it had been ‘thoroughly tested’. They told me to try restoring it on a new account, then going back to my own. Something about corrupt files. Still didnt work.Anyway, I was reluctant to use a third party program to ‘force exit’ my phone from recovery but in the end Apple gave me no choice and the freezing up was becoming intolerable.I bit the bullet at five days ago, downgraded to 3.1.3, used a program to help me exit recovery and that was that. My phone is now back on 3.1.3 and working fine again. How many freeze ups since the downgrade? Zero, and no lagging either. How many freeze ups when running on 4.0? At least five a day, every day.I feel like Ive got my phone back, and I wont be upgrading it again. iMac Mac OS X (10.5.8)
I was prompt to download the latest update 4.0.2 for iPhone 3G. When I click to download and install, it finish download but fail to install. It come up error 1002.I have refer to my telco - which I subscribe too - and they can help. They suggest me to go for un authorized party to help me resolve the issue - since my warranty period is over. Why would this happen? Its a fine working condition iPhone 3G - after the update it really screwed up everything. iPhone 3G iOS 4 iOS 4.0.2

How do I download apps for my 11yr old when he is too young to have an itunes account? Dell Windows Vista
Hi Everyone,Im a bit frustrated right now. A couple days back I decided to downgrade from 4.0 to 3.13. No problems, things went smooth as silk, but being an idiot about this stuff, didnt know I was supposed to back up all my data, texts, pictures, and most importantly plants vs zombies saved games. Yep, I lost it all. Being the swift thinker that I am, I thought no big deal, I can just upgrade back to 4 and restore from all my saved data. Heres the challenge: Itunes on my win 7 rig no longer recognizes my 3g Iphone. Made an appt to go to the local genius bar and of course the phone worked fine on their macs. The genius was nice enough to put 4 on my phone and send me out the door. As Im walking out the door, I go to the app store on my phone to see if I can just download all the apps Ive purchased directly on the phone. That didnt work, I was only able to get the Google mobile app. I get home and itunes still does not recognize my iphone. I do some digging and it appears there are some issues with my motherboard (P55, in a Dell XPS8000) and itunes. After dinking with things a few too many hours I finally decide to just use my old laptop to load up my now empty iphone. Itunes on the laptop recognizes the iphone and I authorize my computer for the store and think Ill have a couple hours to kill to download my apps. . . Ugh! Only one ap has downloaded, google mobile. My guess is I somehow wiped out the record of my other purchases even though they show in my purchase history in the app store. My pleas for help are: 1. Is there any possible way to get my pictures back that I had back in 3.1.3?2. Any way to get back my apps Ive already purchased. 3. Any success stories with P55 motherboards, Ive tried running itunes in compatible mode, making changes to regedit, opening in iphone explorer, pretty much all the steps that come up in a google search. Thanks for any help. Tim Dell Studio XPS 8000

Hi,Im a little worried about the security of Safari, my other half used that new site to download and install the program that allows you to change loads of things on your iPhone. Like the homescreen and being able to removed Apple apps and stuff like that.He did it all through a website, the program downloaded and installed itself and then restarted the phone. Without so much as a prompt or an ok.I didnt do it to my iPhone, not that bothered about the missing things. Even though free tethering would be nice. What Im worried about is what if another site could maliciously install something from Safari, if the website can changed the whole OS what can other sites do? 15" MBP now with interal scrolling :D Mac OS X (10.6.3) Its shiny.
After 2 hours of downloading, syncing and backing up my iphone, I assumed that the download of os4 went off without a hitch. Everything was fine until I tried to listen to my ipod on the iphone. I chose the song from the playlist I wanted to hear and pressed the play button. It fastforwarded to the song IT wanted to play. I tried to play the song again, and Again, it fastforwarded to a song IT wanted to play. Any ideas on how to fix this??!! Asus Laptop, Macbook Windows Vista iphone 3G, ipod Touch,
Dear Mr. Jobs,I wish to congratulate you in your ability of rejuvenating the Apple brand over the past decade. The first computer my family ever purchased was an Apple IIc. My school computers were always Apple hardware. However, for most of my adult life I’ve been a PC and never owned a post iMac Apple product but always envied those around me. When I have to work in the Computer labs on EKU Campus, I choose Mac. Because of this long distance love affair, I received my first iPhone as a gift, and my view of Apple as a company and a brand has dramatically changed. In 2007, I was given an iPhone (8 GB) for Christmas from my wife; she had been secretly saving for the purchase for several months. Much to her chagrin, it failed to work out of the box. She cried and apologized all day. The AT&T store said that it was a SIM Card reader issue. When the store manager called Apple Customer Service, they explained that I had to return the phone directly to Apple with a turnaround time of approximately 10 business days. The store manager did not understand why this was necessary when they had iPhones in stock. He chose to replace the original, even though it was not company policy (January 2008).This iPhone was wonderful and I showed it off to all of my friends, family, and co-workers. However, it began to develop yellow and green streaks on the screen and air bubbles under the glass plate. When I took the iPhone to the Apple store in Knoxville, they apologized and happily replaced it (March 2008). Its replacement developed air bubble issues and I continued to use the phone until it was unresponsive (September 2008). I returned this phone to the Knoxville store as well and was given a replacement. Both of these phones were given to me without a box and it is my impression that they may have been refurbs or returned phones that had been restored to factory settings within the store. My fourth iPhone began to have syncing issues, App refresh issues, and crashes with the OS 2.2 update. These problems continued with the 2.2.1 and 3.0 updates, it also developed air bubbles. After contacting Apple Customer Service, I was able to solve the problem, only to have them begin again after approximately 13+ usage hours. Frustrated by these failings, my wife and I called; then, emailed Apple Customer Service with a letter similar to this one. At that time, my wife received a call during the day, and she was made aware of the fact that none of the previous issues had been reported by the Knoxville store. In addition, the Apple records did not have my current phone shown as being used by an AT&T customer. Their response to the issues was a iPhone 3G replacement that would cost me an additional $99 because the old one was out of date. My wife agreed not knowing that I had this same option available through an AT&T upgrade. I returned my iPhone Edge to Apple; since, my wife had agreed to the trade and it did not change my upgrade schedule with AT&T. However, I was disappointed in the fact that up to this point, my wife had spent $600 on my iPhone and I had yet to receive a device that worked. I mentioned this to the Customer Service rep and she seemed genuinely concerned but did not offer any additional reimbursements. When I received my current iPhone 3G last June, It worked well and I was extremely happy with the OS 3 updates. However, with each update since the original, I have had to reinstall USB drivers on all three of my computer. Starting in April 2010, after an update, my iPhone 3G no longer registers as a camera on any of my computers. I have reinstalled USB drivers and completed two restores. The first restore was required because of an attempted/failed sync that sent the phone into a cycle of unstoppable refreshes once the phone was unlocked. (I lost approx. 150 photos of my daughter as a result of this restore.) The iPhone continued to freeze and refresh unexpectedly; so, I completed another “successful” restore.Currently, the iPhone will sync with iTunes but still does not show as a proper camera. I have reinstalled all Apple software; however, this has not solved the problem. In addition to the sync/download issues, streaming podcast via wifi has become a consistent problem. It will crash 7 out of 10 times while streaming on my home network. I choose this option because I try to save space for pics since I cannot currently download onto my computer. I must say that my frustrations with the iPhone have begun to ware my patience with the device and Apple as a brand. Whereas, I use to taut the abilities of my phone and the Customer Service, now I’ve become unimpressed and repeatedly lowering my expectations of performance. The convenience of being able to share digital pictures of my daughter with her grandparents has been wonderful. When it works, it is a great tool; I even convinced my in-laws to buy one. Yet the most disheartening thing was a comment my wife made after we watched the Keynote last week. She said, “What? I can’t believe they have a better phone already. Isn’t that a fourth upgrade or something? I feel like such an idiot for spending $500 on a phone that has never really worked. I should have waited.”Now, I am wondering why I even want to keep my phone. As it stands I could walk into to AT&T get a free phone, reduce my monthly phone bill, and just run my iPhone 3G like an iPod Touch that sort of works. I understand hardware limitations often restrict software ability. Does this mean that Apple anticipates making their devices obsolete within two generations? If so, why were we not told this? I want to be a loyal Apple consumer. I even had visions of using my awesome iPhone as way to convince my wife that we should become a Mac family. Yet, my history with this device and the current view of consumer bounce-back on iPhones, begins to worry me. As of right now, I don’t know if I want to upgrade to a new iPhone 3GS let alone 4. It seems like I would just seem gullible when the next one no longer works. Part of me says cut my losses, wait out my family plan contract with AT&T, and go somewhere else. Maybe, after the iPhone 6 or whatever comes out, enough of the kinks will be fixed, and it will be worth my money to purchase again. However, the rest of me, remembers writing DOS code on my family’s Apple IIc and watching the floppy disk boot. Those moments changed my life. I’ve been using and teaching with computers ever since.________________________________________________________I have contacted/emailed Gizmodo, iLounge, Engadget, TUAW, and Macworld hoping to generate a response or at least some answers about the quality control issues I mentioned in my Open Letter to Steve Jobs. Since writing the letter (06-14-10), I have completed three full restores, all of which were backup from February. The first one was prompted by an iTunes download glitch. I attempted to download two podcasts, the downloads failed and wiped my entire music catalog off of the iPhone. So I decided to restore to a previous backup. While using the first restore, I belieive I may have found one possible solution to the camera issue. Picasa may be deleting info packets as it deletes pictures after downloads. I attempted to download some random pics as a test for the now working driver; then, deleted them using Picasa, like I’ve done in the past. Immediately afterward the computer no longer recognized the camera. After a second reboot (again the February backup) no problems until Itested the camera driver and it happened again. Hence a third restore was necessary. The third time I used the Windows Photo Gallery manager and deleted the pics using the iPhone, no problems. It seems to be working now, but at least three phone calls were bumped directly to voice-mail during the day, two before and one after the restores. This has been a newly recurring event since about mid-May but is starting to occur more often now. This is my fifth iPhone and all have had some kind of issue; bad SIM card reader, air bubbles, color streaking, or as mentioned above, repeated software crashes. Its not jailbroken nor have I ever attempted that process. Could anyone at your site tell me if my horrible history with the iPhone is close to common or radically unlucky. I am thinking about updating from a 3G to the 3GS using the Radio Shack trade-in credit but am very skeptical of what I might get in return.__________________________________________________________________________It has been a month since my first set of emails went out. Yesterday, I went to the new Apple Store/Genius Bar in Lexington, KY and was told that they would order me a replacement. I dont know for sure if this will be a new one or a refurb but am skeptical. I am also wondering if it comes out of the box with iOS4 does that mean Apple is knowing hardware with faulty software. Could this be a suable offense or simply a bad business move. My deepest concern is the fact that my original letter sent to Apple has gone unnoticed.I guess what I am trying to say is, what can anyone tell me that would give me hope to stay with Apple? iPhone 3G iOS 4 PC Laptop

Hey, yea its me and Im getting kind of irritated because Ive tried numerous times to download the iSO4 update for my iPhone 3g, but it backs up my phone for about 5% of the whole bar, then stays there until I get sick of watching nothing happen. I have not been able to download the last 2 or 3 updates from apple because the backup process freezes and then gives an error (402636789) and states that if i continue the backup all data will be lost. How can I fix this and get my phone updated? Dell Windows XP
History of my update. First attempt.Using my offices PC, I plugged my 3G in and it proceeded to start backing up. It proceeds very slowly, and stops before it completes backup. I figure in order to speed up the backup, I will delete all my free apps on my phone manually. I dont have many apps, I left the one app that actually cost me something. I plug it in to my wifes macbook, the backup completes a lot quicker. I unplug the phone just to let it do it one more time. We then download the OS 4 update. I plug the phone back in to update my phone to the new OS. It starts doing a backup which appears to go EXTREMELY slow. Its late so I went to bed, wake up the next morning with OS 4 running but all 1800 of my pictures are gone except the first 30 or so I took when I got the phone, and my guitar tuner app that I left on the phone is also gone. We checked the mobile backups and there are no backup files on my wifes mac.I read about the iphone explorer fix. we download it, and there arent any files in the media folder to show. I have most of my important pictures on facebook, but it would be nice to get them all back. Im not very technical, obviously, any help would be appreciated. Back when we were able to download the visual voicemail on our phones, I followed the steps it said, which including restoring my phone. I did that but I had the problem where people would leave me voicemails and it would not show up. The only way I would know if their was voicemails was by holding down 1 and checking it that way. I hadnt resolved the issue. And now last night I had downloaded the new iso4 software and it is all installed correctly I thot, but when I try access my visual voicemail it says voicemail unavailable - could not authorize access. If I got into my settings and change voicemail password it does the same thing. Why am I getting this message? I am confuzed. Please help. Windows XP iOS 4
