Okay so first my iphone 4s had a storage problem. So I bought an iphone 5 and restored my old settings to the iphone 5. Sadly that carried over the storage bug to my new phone. I went and reset all of the factory settings and started from scratch. I have now fixed my storage problem, but I made this a new iphone, and did not restore from a back up this time. I set it up with the same phone number of course, expecting it to take in my contacts from my cell phone number. I sync everything, and my contacts are there. Problems with syncing iphone 5

I have iphone 5 and try to sync it with my computer (Windows 7 Max.). I have already installed ITunes and verified my computer in AppStore. But anyway I have problems with syncing applications. For example, I've downloaded Translator and tried to install it to iphone. I've clicked "sync" in window "Programs", but it goes only up to the third step from four and fails. In window rights it is shown, that this program is already installed, but when I turn off my iphone from computer, I check and can see, that programs were not installed.My computer is also already verified, so that I can connect it with iphone. In common settings on iphone I have already turned on restrictions so that I can install applications. Could you tell me what should I do? I hope that someone had the same problem.

I synchronized my iphone with iTunes and my Outlook calendar.  By doing so, I deleted all of my Outlook calendar events in Outlook and on my iphone.  How do I reverse that action?  I tried restoring my iphone with the backup.  When I do this, my calendar events come back on my iphone but as soon as I plug it into my computer, it syncs with iTunes and deletes everything all over again.  I have tried changing the sync settings to not sync the calendar but it still synchronizes and deletes everything.  PLEASE HELP!

I just got a brand new iphone 5 yesterday and was in the process of performing a "sync" to copy some music. iTunes alerted me that a new software update was available for my phone so I started this process. The process crashed and despite removing the old software, it has not installed the new and will not pick up the phone at all when I plug it in. iphone 5 barely charges doesn't sync

Hey all, I have an iphone 5, obviously less than a year old, and am having a really strange problem. Two days ago, I was able to charge my phone, sync it, everything like it was normal.  Yesterday, it decided it won't charge.  When the phone is dead, and I plug it in it has the normal charging screen and will get to 5% like usual.  But then, there is no charging battery, and my phone charges SUPER slow.  For example, yesterday I plugged in my phone at 3:50pm with 1%, and when I unplugged it (never used it while charging) it was 9:15pm and 34%.  Continuing to charge it from then has resulted it up to 50% now.  When it's plugged into my computer (Windows 7 Professional), I get a notification that says the USB device has malfunctioned.  So I know from this and the very slight charging that it shouldn't be the cord, there is still communication between the two.   I haven't updated my phone to the latest settings (it's on 6.0.2) and I'm struggling to try to update it now.  I also don't want to Reset all Settings due to some of my photos and videos that I need to save and I don't want those deleted.   What do I do?  How do I go about fixing this situation?  It really shouldn't be a battery since it's a decently new phone.  It's been handled great and there is no damage to it and no drops.  Help!

Okay. So this was what happened: I was updating my iTunes library to the latest version. All of a sudden, my netbook crashed and eventually was hanging. So I removed the battery and restarted my netbook. I later found out, my iTunes got deleted. I didnt panic at first since I deliberately deleted my iTunes before and reinstalled it again finding all my files back in the iTunes. But this time, when I reinstalled it, all my files were gone! with this situation, can I transfer all my current files from my iphone to my new iTunes library? I don't mind losing my music but I just want to safely sync my iphone to this new iTunes library without erasing my current apps and photos. Hope you guys can help me!

So,  I have the iphone 4.Recently, I've had to wipe the hard drive of my computer to start new due to viruses and such. All my music and videos that were there aren't anymore because I have not made any iTunes purchases. My problem is that I updated iTunes and it asks me to "Are you sure you want to remove existing music, videos etc" because I have another libraries, with the other library being complete gone, how do I sync new music and videos without having to remove anything? few problems with my iphone 4s.

Okay so my sister recently upgraded to an iphone 5 because her iphone 4s got a bit wet and it broke the camera. She gave me the 4s but it turns out it has quite a few irritating problems:The camera flash is always on. I tried a few software fixes that had worked for other people but no joy.The camera itself doesnt work. The shutter in the app doesnt open.The dock connector needs to be put at an angle for it to charge or sync and a slight movement can cause it to disconnect.The glass on the back is a bit cracked.The speakers don't work and it looks as if it is connected to a docking station in the music app when there are no headphones connected.She had this phone for over a year so there is no warranty but I have no problem with fixing/replacing some hardware myself. Would somebody be able to help me or point me in the direction for help with these probelms? any help or tips are greatly appreciated.

It used to be I'd update my apps in iTunes and then plug in my iphone and it would sync the updated apps to the phone.  It won't do that anymore, I now have to update the apps from the phone's App Store app.  Anybody else have this problem, and how did you solve it?

My apps are disappearing iphone 3G

WIthout doing anything I noticed my apps disappearing. First I noticed my YELP app gone, then Netflix app gone, then Instagram gone! I did not delete them because I use these apps frequently. I went to itunes to sync my apps and it shows that I have them on my phone but they won't appear on my phone. Where are they and what happened? Are they invisible on my iphone but visible on itunes?

Problems deleting Voice Memo s iphone 3G

Hello!Im new to the forum but after looking through the forums relating to this issue and trying everything suggested i still have a problem with deleteing voice memo's! The problem:My iphone has no music songs, videos etc on at all only apps and photos. I recently restored from back up but chose to add my songs manually but before i even got that far the voice memo's playlist was already on my iphone and 123 voice memo's are on the phone and are also in the "music" section of the iphone, these voice notes are from last year! I have deleted all voice memos from the app itself and also deleted all voice memos from itunes itself and then sync'd but these voice memos remain! Itunes wont let me delete the voice notes from the iphone through itunes whether that be though the playlist or through the music tab and as they dont show up anywhere on the phone im out of ideas!  Has any one got a solution? its driving me insane and its over 2GB of voice notes and i think its contributing to my 3.5GB of "other"! Any help would be greatly appreciated and apologies if this has been covered before! Thanks RinaRoo

How I sync apps from same iTunes account to an iphone 3G and an iphone 4S and keep correct version for each iOS

I have an old 3G as well as a 4S. Initially I set up a separate iTunes account for the 4S as I was worried I'd lose my old apps for 3G (as older, compatible versions aren't kept in the iTunes store so once they're gone, they're gone...). 3G is set up to sync with iTunes, 4S is inly syncing mail and conatcts through Exchange but hasn't been synced with an iTunes library for the reason above. Is there a way to sync both phones off the same iTunes account, so I can set up each phone with some music, as well as apps, without iOS 5 versions overwriting the exisitng apps for the 3G? To complicate things further, I don't want to sync photos, contacts, messages, etc. I just want to avoid having to duplicate all my music and pay for all the apps all over again. Suggestions? Cheers

First issue Itunes will not sync with iphone 4s

i updated my iphone 4s to 6.1.3 and since then I cannot sync or "drag & drop" any music to my iphone.  I have done a hard reset, restore to factory settings, deauthorize / authorize and pretty much anything else that involves checking and unchecking and as I expecting nothing worked.  Am I missing some little detail because everything thing worked just fine before with itunes that is.  I cannot do any wifi sync since my phone is also greyed out with wifi and bluetooth.  If anyone has any other suggestions please entertain me because I am at a loss here.

The devices in question are an iphone 5 and a 3rd generation iPad, both run the latest iOS bits available and I am signed in with my Apple Id on both devices.  The behavior I'd like to experience is:the settings (Stations and Podcasts within Stations and particular Podcast settings) set on one device just show up on the other device.both devices show the exact same played, partly-played and unplayed podcasts in their stations. Isn't this the way things should "just work" in the Apple world?  The reason for asking is that my two devices do not seem to talk to each other and cannot locate a way to get them to synchronize. Thank you,  eugen

Trying to sync different device to computer iphone 3G

Hi all- newbie here. I'm trying to open and sync an (my husband's) existing iphone 4 onto (my) existing computer. However, both the iphone and the computer were set up originally under our different iTunes accounts. I've read where if I open up his account on my computer, I shouldn't have any problems, right? It looks like I can only see stuff that is on the Cloud, not his aps that he purchased for his phone on his account, nor his music that he purchased. Does this seem right? Is there something else I can try to be able to sync his phone without losing aps (albeit under his account and my computer)? Thanks

Hi,I have an iphone 5 and Macbook Pro 13" Retina. I "imessage" from both, and it worked smoothly before but now I am starting to have some problems.. First of all, on my Macbook, I can imessage people easily, but whenever I send it from my laptop, it does not sync to my phone.  When i try to send a imessage from my phone, it says delivered, but the person on the other line sends back their answer in regular "text" form for EVERY one of their replies . I woke up this morning to my phone automatially shutting off on its own. So once back on I got in my recent calls and text messages and there's just numbers but not matched up to any names. And when I go into my contacts its says I have none. I tried backing it up on my mac but my boyfriends contacts sync instead since he loses his phone constantly. I dont have mobieme or icloud. Is there anything I can do? Even if it requires going to the verizon or apple store?

Transfer photos back and forth to OS X WITHOUT iPhoto or iTunes iphone 3G

I googled to no end, searched Apple support forums endlessly and you know what? Not a single simple answer can seem to be given without being redirected to something that simply does not answer THIS very specific question. Is it, or is it not possible to quickly transfer photos DIRECTLY *FROM* and *INTO* the Camera Roll WITHOUT iTunes or iPhoto? Simple question yes? lol. NOPE. Reason why I ask can be simply described in short: iTunes 11.0.2, running iphone iOS 6.1; Clicking "Photos" from my iphone via iTunes, gives me ONE single option; "sync photos from". Tried keeping it real simple. Make a folder on the desktop called iphone Photos just for quickly transfering photos back and forth and chose to synch from that. 18 photos to test. Just crap from the internet. Nothing major. Know what it does? For one, it takes 3 minutes or so to sync 18 whole photos, which is stupid but whatever. But here's the BEST part, none get sent to my Camera Roll, oh no, it makes TWO entirely new folders under it in my iphone. One being the one I made on my desktop, and the other is called Photo Library, and get this, BOTH of these have the same 18 pictures lmao. Yup. Why? Oh who cares at this point. I really just do not care. Apple. All that needs to be said. And as for iPhoto. It's just an unnecessary useless program I have no intentions of ever needing. Why? I keep a crap load of various types of photos in organized folders in my Finder, and iPhoto likes making sure it takes 3x longer to do that. It really just does.  Now back on point. What happened to the good old friggin days when all you had to do was DRAG AND DROP?!?!?! I legitimately am getting cancer from pondering this question.  Is there not a way to simply drag from Camera Roll somehow to the iMac, like say a specified folder. And Vice Versa from the iMac straight to Camera Roll? A nice workaround to get FROM Camera Roll TO iMac specified folder is "Image Capture" which does exactly just THAT. Quickly and painlessly transfer STRAIGHT FROM AND TO wherever. This is ridiculous. At this point, I'd pay 50 bucks for a simple app to quickly drag and drop from and to Camera Roll and bam. Done.  Sorry for the book, but this is getting ******** trying to get an answer to this and thought I would deem it necessary to be as descriptive as humanly possible.  Looking for simple answers if possible, but at least descriptive. Thanks.

hello  some help please!  im trying to unlock my vodafone iphone 4.. they have been less than helpful. when i follow the online instructions i am told to sync phone to itunes, which i have done, it then tells me to select iphone in 'devices' and go to summary.. but my itunes does not have a 'devices' tab..? what am i missing?

Was charging my iphone 5 for about an hour or so after charging unplugged and went to playing games phone was at 5% so I grabbed my cable and plugged it into the wall nothing happened tried three different chords and blocks and sockets afterwards I plugged my phone into the computer and it wouldn't charge or sync with iTunes it acted as if it wasn't even plugged in so I shut the phone off and though I'd give It a break and try again later. As I got ready to go to bed I though I'd try to plug it back in and see if anything happened nothing did so I just left it I went to mess with it this morning and come to find out it was at 100% I continued to mess with it and i came to the conclusion that it only charges when turned off. I can't get the phone to reset and would love to restore with iTunes if it would sync with iTunes I don't know what I need to do but really need my problem resolved since its a hassle to have to turn off my iphone in order to get it to charge

7 different faults-it hardware failure iphone 4S

I've had my 4S since January 2012.  All was well for about a year, and then the fun began.1) When the weather got colder (Less than five or six degrees), the phone would suddenly claim to have a flat battery, and turned itself off.  Plugging in an external battery pack brought it back to life.  Taking it back inside a warm building would bring it back to life again.  2) About twice a month, it crashes, and wipes all my contacts/calendar data.  I started backing up to iCloud, so then it would restore from there, but muddle my contacts' photos up.3) It refuses to sync with iTunes.  It says there's not enough memory.  Sometimes on the phone, sometimes on my PC.4) At least once a day, it loses the ability to join any mobile network.  Turning it off and on again usually allows it to rejoin my network (T Mobile).5) Instead of T Mobile, it randomly likes to show my operator name as 000-0000.6) It helpfully closes all my Safari tabs if I minimise Safari and use another app.7) The GPS is failing, which is a real nuisance because I use Nike+ for my daily jog. T Mobile's tech help were not very much help as soon as they realised I'd had the phone for over a year, and was therefore no longer covered by their warranty.  They reckoned it was a hardware failure.  I've purchased Apple Care today, and booked a Genius Bar appointment for Friday.  Does anyone have experience of any of these problems?

I did an iphone 4 software update. It then asked me to do a "restore" in order for me to be able to use the latest iTunes. I did a "restore" to "factory settings" (this was the only option listed) thinking I'd be able to sync later and get everything back and ended up losing all my purchased apps and iTunes. When I open iTunes, "Welcome to your new iphone" and it says I can re-do the "restore" and choose my lastest update. I assume this will give me back my apps and iTunes. When i choose to do this, it says there isn't enough space on the iphone. How do I know how much space needs to be freed up? I keep deleting photos and videos from the phone, but I'm still getting the same message every time I re-try. I don't want to delete everything, but I don't know what to do...? Thanks!

I just got a new iphone 5, it was great but there were some problems such as one specific app would have a pop up saying connect to itunes repeatdly i wasn't able to use it or even exit out of it. I decided that i should sync it to see if it would fix it, it didn't help. I figured I had nothing to lose and I tried to restore my iphone. The problem is that is it stuck on the connect to itunes screen, but when i connect it to the computer, itunes will not recognize it. How do I fix this problem?

I got 40+ e-mails, stunning. How can I sync / copy-paste my notes from my iphone to my Mac in .pages format?Or is it better to sync from notes (iphone) to notes (MacBookPro) first, and copy paste to Pages?
