Water damage to screen but phone working iphone 4S
I got a small amount of water in my iphone, at first i thought it was ok but after about half hour the water had spread through my screen, and it started going blotchy and cloudy. The touch screen still works, speakers, charger, camera etc. Only thing is phone wont turn off? I tried the rice for a few hours but didnt do much. Does the apple warrenty cover water damage if not how do i get this repaired?

Re iphone 4s wifi
My iphone 4s no longer allows me to connect to any wifi connections. The option is greyed out and wont let me do anything to it. I have tried restarting and resetting the network connections and all settings but this has not worked. The wifi came back briefly randomly at one or two points but could not find any wifi networks. I have read on the internet it is probably a hardware problem so I will be taking it back to apple next week. Just wondered if anyone had any further ideas about the problems?

I dropped my phone with an otterbox defender case on the phone on its back, directly following the fall (maybe 3ft) the screen remains black, however, the phone is still on because I get text messages and emails. I believe that the digitizer may have been dislodged from the logic board. Should I investigate the phone myself or take it in, mind you the nearest apple store (grrr) is almost 60 miles away.
iphone battery says 20 but actually 1 iphone 4S
Hi,I am wondering if anyone else has seen this issue & can provide a fix or offer advice on why this is happening? I have an iphone 4s & very happy with is. However. when the battery % lever reaches 20% the phone 'switches' off - if I connect the charge cable the battery indicator says 1% & charging. Yet if I then hold the power button to swich the iphone on, it says 21% & charging. Any idea why this is happening & how I get the battery to show correct value.On an aside - it charges fine to 100% and iphone is overwise fine. Thanks, T
My iphone wont turn on after updating
My iphone 4G was updating to the latest i.OS software on itunes (on my windows computer). As usual, my phone had to restart. It turned off, but as it was turning on (when the screen just shows that silver apple logo) an error message came up on itunes saying that it couldnt update the software (I forgot to get the error number). But my phone is stuck with that silver apple logo on it. My computer tells me to restore my phone, which I tried, but everytime I do that, itunes says "extracting software" and then it says "preparing to restore" then it comes up with an error message (number 2009). I have tried restarting my computer. My phone is stuck like this. What should I do? Please help!

Hi Ive had iphone 5 since it came out, and recently this year, its been turning itself off with plenty of battery life and wont allow me to turn it back on until I have plugged it into wall charger to 'charge' it back up. When its plugged in, it returns to the battery level it was originaly at....30%, 50% for example. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Im going to do a iCloud and computer back up and restore firmware see if that helps?Chris

HELP PLEASE! A purchased a iphone 4 GSM model. I have been trying to restore it (being the screen said to connect to itunes) but when I went through the restore process, itunes recongnized it, it went through what appeared as all but the last second of restoring when I got a " The iphone "iphone" could not be restored. I have been trying to update my iphone's software for the past few weeks due to my current provider not being found. (A bar that says "Searching" is always at the top where my 3G should be.) Yet whenever I try directly from my iphone, it always end with an error message. So, yesterday I tried updating directly from itunes and I let it download the new update and all that. However, after it finished trying to update my iphone, it put my iphone in a recovery mode and I've been trying to fix it eversince. I can not access my iphone, all it has is an icon saying to connect to itunes. I've tried troubleshooting, checking my software, updating my computer etc. yet it still leaves me with this message: "The iphone "iphone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (-1)." I've looked on the apple site and I've made sure my security is up to date, my computer is up to date, my itunes is up to date and that I have restarted my computer. I am very irritated and I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do because my warranty is over with apple and I still have a few years on my contract. volume control on iphone not working need helpJust yesterday it was fine but now its not there I have a iphone 4s with iOS 5.1.1The volume button on the side no longer works when you press up or down it just pops up the screen that says ringer and the volume image but wont change the volume. I have tried resetting and erased all data but still no luck detecting network. 3G is found briefly when powering back up. I have tried two different sims from two different providers 3 an Vodafone but whilst carrier is found neither connect. Wifi if working fine as are all other phone functions. Any ideas?
Why Apple store keeps replacing my iphone 5 with faulty ones
This is a true story.Since 5 months ago I have received 3 faulty iphone 5s from Apple store, everytime for a different defect. Here are the details: 1)I got my new iPhone5 in January. the home button got broken in just a week. So I went to apple store and they replaced it with a new one. 2)In April, the new phone's sleep button stopped functioning properly. Again I reserved an appointment and got a new one from Apple store.3) the day after I got the new phone I noticed that the phone's mic doesnt work while on speakerphone(my iOS is up-to-date) All I can say is that I am very disappointed. I am very relied on my phone because of the nature of my work and the iphone has so far let me down many times. I had iphone 4 before for almost two years and it functioned well until it had an unfortunate accident. I am pretty sure that this is not just being out of luck. This has something to do with the quality or design of the iphone 5. How can I trust this phone until the end of my contract with my current provider while I wont have a warranty for the last two years?

Right, my problem is that my iphone is turned on BUT the screen is blank. How can I get this to turn off or reset and respond to my iTunes. I've tried the manual reset by pressing the the sleep/on/off button with the home button at the same time and I get nothing. I've even tried plugging it into my laptop to respond with iTunes but that doesn't work either. It will connect to a wall charger with the same wire as that I'm using to connect to the computer. I need as much help as needed.

I just bought a second hand (perfect condition) iphone 4S today, the user sold it because they had upgraded to an iphone 5. The previous user did not restore the phone they just deleted all of their previous data (contacts, pictures, applacations, they left their 1,100 songs though), so I planned on restoring it later tonight to start fresh. I had it activated to my phone number at the Verizon store on my way to a family party and used it throughout today but put barely anything onto it knowing I would be restoring it tonight. I got home and plugged it into my laptop and went to iTunes found "Emily's iphone" and then hit the restore button like normal, it worked perfectly fine and went the whole 14 minutes it said it had to. Then my phone went to the "connect to iTunes" screen when it was already connected. I checked to make sure everything was plugged in correctly, and it all was perfectly fine. I tried the manual reboot (holding the home and lock buttons for a few seconds) and all it does is shut off and bring me to the same "connect to iTunes screen".. someone please tell me how I can restore my phone! iphone 5 camera not working
So i have my brand new iphone 5, since out of the box (2 days ago) the camera is not working, the camera app launches when i hit the camera icon but the shutter wont open, now if hit home button and then open camera again the shutter opens but the screen is black and i can't use any button on the camera app (auto flash, switch to front camera, etc.). Last night i read somewhere in this forums to turn off "Cellular Data" on the facetime setting, and it started working, until today when i got the same problem. i already restored it as new and it did nothing. New iOS update froze my phone and I had to restore my phone. iphone 5
I try to avoid updates on my iphone because it's either hit or miss and after the latest update that was released a couple days ago, my worst fear happened. It updated then I left it alone to update. After over an hour I come back and the "connect to iTunes" image appeared and nothing worked. Once iTunes was restarted it said I needed to restore my phone to factory settings. This is ridiculous and very frustrating. I'm not going to lie, several of my friends have Samsung Galaxy S3's or Notes and they seem way more verstitle and reliable then my iphone. Any suggestions?

Help With Mail iphone 3G
Bought Mail+ from the store. It won't connect even though I have given it correct the Comcast email adddress, password and incoming domain at least 6 times. It tries to connect for 4-5 minutes and then times out and makes me reenter everything. Two requests for help from their customer service have not been answered in last 48 hours and I'm about to dump the app and move on but I paid for it so hate to give up. Any suggestions?
