iOS home screen problem iphone 5

Has anyone had problems with the home screen on the iphone enlarging so that only a part of it is shown?  The " slide to unlock" bar can't be used then and there is no way to resize the display so the whole screen is visible. And the only way to use the phone again is to reboot by hard reboot as the slider bar to turn off can't be used too.

iOS upgrade-can no longer resize pictures for messaging or email iphone 4

Hi before the recent iOS upgrade, if I wanted to send a photo from my iphone by either MMS or email I had the option to choose the file size of the photo before I sent the message. This option now seems to have disappeared. Does anyone know if this option has been removed, or is it now hidden away in the settings somewhere? iPhone4 iOS 4

And how to fix it if you can.Last night something happened to my iphone and whatever it was caused my phones display to blow up to 2-3x its original size and now I cant see the slider to unlock and the screen doesnt respond to resizing or any input really.I got it unlocked one time after this happened and everything past the lock screen was blown up too and I couldnt resize anything on the homescreen either.I have tried a soft reboot a hard reboot and neither have done anything to help.Is it possible that my iphone has a virus or something? MMS Picture Size too BIG iphone 4

Hi, is iphone 4 has a setting to limit/resize the picture when sending MMS? My friends who are using other phones and services cant retrieve my MMS. Now I have to resize my pictures every time before I send a MMS. iphone 4 iOS 4

MMS Problem with IOS 4.2.1 iphone 4 Beijing China

Just upgraded from 4.1 to 4.2.1 and got problem sending out MMS (pictures).I tried to change the setting under Network - Cellular Data Network - MMS - MMS Max Message Size to 800,000, then succeeded. But when changed back to 50,000 which is the regular size of MMS here, it just did not went through. So seems the problem is after upgrading the phone cannot resize pictures automatically. When the 800,000 bytes picture went through, it did look prettier and sharper when I checked by clicking it in the message thread. The ironic thing is, 50,000 bytes is the limite of our local service provider, China Mobile. So I will not be able to send out MMS from my iphone unless it is sent as the original size, and once I sent it out without resizing it, my friends get a text from China Mobile that they cannot get my MMS cause it is over-sized... (@v@)I found this happening in other countries as well, so guess we just wait for Apples solution :S And for people that using the service with no size limite of MMS, changing the setting as I did above may solve this problem, temporarily... iphone 4 iOS 4

Hello to you all,If some of you can help me, it would be very nice!My step-son and I, are in the same situation.We can send between our two iphones, pictures (MMS) - (send and receive OK), but when we send a picture (MMS) to a conventional GSM (SonyEricson, Nokia, BlackBerry or other), the person receives a SMS instead indicating that the message is too long to be received.Info: max size settings for Mobistar MMS messages is: 307,200 Settings for Proximus : the fields must be empty (test with 300,000, inconclusive).Our parameters are the same as those that were used on iOS3 and it was working without any problems.We have already tried to reinstall the iOS4 on the 2 iphones and declare them as new iphones, but nothing helped.Thanks for your help..Perhaps a method to resize the size of pictures before sending it would help? iphone 3G + 3GS iOS 4

I just realized that my new iphone 3G cannot send photos by email to other friends with cell phones in Japan because the images are too large.Most cell phones here have a resize feature to use before sending by email. Auto resizing uibutton to text inside it iphone 3G

Ive determined that if I set the uibutton flags field autoresizeToFit (via the debugger) then the uibutton will automatically resize based on the size of the text I put in it. Unfortunately thats a private field. Im interested in doing this because Im localizing the UIButtons title and that title is variable length. Yes, I could localize the .xib file that Im using but this is the only element of the .xib file which needs to be resized in this manner and localizing the entire .xib file would be complete overkill (and suck up pointless space). So Id like to change the size of the uibutton programatically to match the width of the title.Is there an official mechanism to do this?Casey MacBook Mac OS X (10.5.5)

I cant complete my initial iphone setup because the user agreement page isnt being completely displayed and I cant click the Next button. Ive been unable to resize the screen or remove the left hand menu. Theres no slide bar at the bottom of the page to move right. I just need to know how to display that section full-screen. Heres what blows my mind that we still dont have on the iphone:Unified InboxOption to stop HTML images from loading automatically (spam protection!)Horizontal email reading and writingA2DP and OBEX Bluetooth servicesMMSCan you please add these features?! The first two are basic features of a decent email application (like Apple Mail on the desktop). Horizontal email reading makes sense with the preponderance of HTML-formatted messages coming through that dont resize or auto-wrap. The last items are standard features on just about ANY mobile phone! It is just absurd to not have these.How about publishing a list of the the features you ARE working on adding to the phone?Who has to say they want these very simple, basic features before they actually get added? Id bet that if you develop a mail app yourself to have the above, Apple would reject it saying its too similar to the built-in one. need to move around top icons on dead top screen ideas iphone

I have a water damaged Orig iphone, the top 2 rows of icons are dead, IE the top of the touch screen is dead. Its out of warranty, I want to use it as an ipod.Here is what I need help on, can anybody figure out how to re-arrange the top two rows so that I can get control of my settings icon to make adjustments?Is there a way to resize the entire image so that its smaller, and only uses the bottom 1/2 of screen, IE a very small version of a full screen?
