iPhone 5 won't wake up from sleepstandby

Hello, I am having a really strange problem with my iphone 5 for last 3-4 months. Sometime when i want to use my iphone from standby/sleep mode it dosent do anything! sleep/wake button, home button even silent/sound button dosent work. I know the silent/sound button dosen't work cause normally it vibrate when I turn it on. So the problem is my phone wont wake up from sleep/standby mode. The screen stays black and nothing works. If i press the home button and power button for 10-15 time very quickly, then it takes a screen shot and wakes up!! Sometime it stays in this stage for 5-10min. So here is what i did to solve the problem.1. I restore the phone from phone and ituens.2. I delete all icloud backup and started as a new phone3. I went to apple store and replace the phone with a new one!!4. I jailbreak it at last to see if it solve the problem!5. turn off the icloud to see if it works And sadly nothing of all this solved my problem! Now im not sure any specific app causing the problem but it almost impossible to find it out. So if anyone have any similar problem or any suggestion to solve it, then it will be really helpful.

Im having issues charging my iPhone 4S. First noticed it this week on my car charger and assumed the charger broke as I was able to charge at home. I then used my home charger and I noticed that it wasnt charging both my phone nor my new ipad. Is this an issue with the charger or phones?

Having Paid about £20 for an official unlocking, I am being told to insert a Non-Orange 3G Sim card into the phone that is to be unlocked (Orange is the network the iPhone iscurrently locked to).  Well I don't have a Non-Orange 3G Sim Card do I !! organize apps in itunes iPhone 3G

When I sync my iphone 4s or my ipad in itunes with the lates upgrade in itunes I don't see how I can organize my apps, to move them from one screen to the other.  I've looked all over itunes as the device is syncing and I see nothing, use to be on the right side and you could drag from one area to the other.  Anyone know?

Backup Issues Deleting Other Files iPhone 4S

I recently replaced my iphone screen and afterwards I discovered that my camera roll had crashed. With it, I lost all of my pictures and videos. Luckily, I recovered them from a program that I had downloaded. However, the storage that used to take up my photos and videos on my phone had transfered to the "other" section on itunes. Is the only way to remove/decrease the storage of the "other" file by restoring your iphone? I don't want to restore my iphone because I am also having issues with backing up my phone. Whenever I try to back it up on itunes, it says "the backup was corrupt or not compatable with the iphone". My phone has never been backed up because of this issue, so if I were to restore my phone then all off my files would be deleted. I have tried reseting my phone, but the "other" section is unchanged. Is there anyway I can delete the corrupt files on my phone? I have tried removing all pictures, videos, apps, and music in an attempt to discover the source of the corrupt files but I haven't found them. Also, if I was to "restore backup" with my iphone from my ipad, would that mean losing my messages?

Iphone 5 / factory unlocked / USA purchase..  Whenever i compose a new message (SMS), i already have a text (one of the previous sms that i hv sent to someone) there in the message box. I have tried resending the same to myself and other numbers and it gets delivered aswell. But what is annoying is everytime i have to compose a new message and click on icon on top right corner in message app to create a new sms// i have the text alrdy in my typing box and have to select all and delete it.  And when i click on any previous conversations with my contacts and reply them this problem does not exist. This is only when i click new message compose icon or have to start a new conversation with someone. To me it seems as if some kinda signature is added in SMS but i couldnt find any option for the same. Please advice !!

YouTube not available iPhone 3G

Take your time to write a thoughtful comment on a video, hit send, and it's gone, "youtube is not available". It happens frequently on the iphone app yet never happens on the desktop site. This bug has followed the youtube app across multiple phones (OG & 3G), multiple OS updates, and still happens randomly. Not having a feature is better than one that frequently doesn't work, and frustrates, as well as wastes your time...I'm so ready to checkout the latest from HTC  I copied this question from an archived thread from 2009. I'm having the same issue. I comment on YouTube a couple of times and it's fine, the third time it completely blocks me. It's very frustrating. Looking at the replies from 4 years ago it seems that its definitely the app that has the issue, not the main website. Something to do with capture was the solution last time. Why do I have this issue now, does anyone else have this problem?ipad 3' iphone4sPlease sort it out, it's getting hard to defend iPhone these days!

I'm planning on buying the iphone 5 because I have an upgrade available. I have never owned an iphone before, but I do have an 2gn ipod which has 8 gbs and has 2 apps and have used 5.5 of my 6.84 gbs available with songs(1175 songs). I have also have 30 photos, and have 1.5 gbs left to fill. If I do get the iphone 5 I will not put music on it, because I have my ipod. I would like to have a lot of apps though, because I like to test them out, and give reviews on them. I have a fair amount of photos in my current phone(around 400), but the camera quality is not that good, and I think because the iphone 5 have a lot more gbs than my current one that I will want to take more than I usually do(although I would probably upload them onto my computer and delete the originals off my phone). I don't have that many contacts and I have a tablet where I play my games and movies on, so that is not an issue. I know this is a bit long but I really want to make the right choice because I plan on having this phone until my next upgrade which is in 2 years. I want to know if 16gbs should be enough or if should I go with the 32gbs? OR if I should just wait for the newer version to come out, and if this is worth to buy. I would also would like to know what the perks and downsides are too. Thank you for your patience and time.

iPhone 4S bluetooth issue

The thing is that i've been trying to use my iPhone 4S as master transmiter of GPS signals and accelerometer data for my ipad mini to use an app called air navigation pro, the deal is that when i try to pair my devices vía bluetooth they just seem not to recognize each other, the only way i can get them to work is by using personal hotspot or share internet option vía bluetooth, but thats the only way.I've heard theres a bug related to that, that our friends in cupertino just ignored when they updated IOS, Anyone can help me?, does Anyone has Any info about this, or maybe a solution.By the way since this may be due to my IOS instaled in my iPhone my devices are:-ipad mini wifi only IOS 6.1.3-iPhone 4s IOS 6.1.3Thanks in advance for Any info proportioned

My iphone has literally no storage left, when I plugged it into Itunes it said 10.9 GB were occupied by "other" what is other? i have 6 apps, no music, and 32 pictures and my storage is almost full. I'm wondering if anyone has come across the same problem as me and I don't know what to do to fix it. I had to delete basically everything off my phone because of the 10.9 GB other is taking up. How to remove Quota limit reached iPhone 3G

In my notes, everytime I edit a note, this notification pops up as "Quota - Quota limit reached." and then deletes the current note I'm editing. This is rather frustrating, because I do have some important notes and everytime I go to use it they get deleted after this notification pops up. I did go through my notes and delete a bunch, but there are less that 15 notes and as you can see in the photo this account has 3 and I've definitely had way more in the past. There was a wrong buy ,  an app called mobile selling platform. For  travel agents to do their flight booking thro ipad .  . This happened by mistake , as normally when u download any app it would ask for the password , but some how this time it did not and the down loaded happened . I tried stopping the down load by putting off the power button , but still did not work . Hence this situation. I tried reporting a problem thro the link in the invoice , but to no success .error is reported . I need a refund and reversal . As I have of no use of the apps . I  am no travel agent and tried calling the India office but was told that they had closed for the day . So then I posted this query on the communities to seek help in sorting this issue .....need help .

Viber Editing text hard to impossible-cursor jumps always to end iPhone 3G

Hi all, everytime I want to edit text I'm entering into the message box, I'm not able to do it, since the cursor always jumps to the end of the text.This makes it impossible to mark & copy some or all text, as well as rephrasing or correcting typos. The only 'workaround' I found is to keep the finger on the target position (and having the looking glass active) and then type one character (or delete on). I'm a little bit curious since my friend and me are experiencing that issue for a long time now though I found no reference on the net for it yet (except one to a wordpress app). It happens on a 3GS as well as on a 4, at least all 6.* versions of iOS, with the previous (2.3.1) as well as with the current Viber version (3.0.0).Also experienced on ipad (3rd gen, cellular edition) with 6.1.3 / 3.0.0 Any hints or tipps are very welcome! Thanks in advance &cu,-udo

I do not so much have a question, but a statement:  I did the upgrade to iOS 6 last night.  I had to delete a lot of apps to make room for the upgrade and did a small icloud back up to save space.  But, after waiting and seeing the upgrade time kept going up and up, I just went to bed.  Woke up in the middle of the Night to check and my phone said to connect to iTunes.  When I did, it told me I had to restore my phone.  So I had no choice because, it would not leave the connect to iTunes message on my screen otherwise.  This is a horrible glitch!

Iphone 5 Bluetooth very poor

Don´t buy a Iphone 5 It simply don´´t work stabil in the bluetooth word. I can sometimes, and sometimes not connect to me ipad 2 and PC. turn of and on, sometime i works some time i don´t work. I am waiting and Waiting because it is so slow to connect. I have been getting this error message for a while... it seems to be the only thing that helps is deleting all my photos and all my music and the bigger space sucking apps.... however what good is the phone if i have to delete everything i use in order to download something new.... A few days ago I got my iPhone unlocked from my provider (Telstra) as I am about to travel and wanted to put a country specific sim in it. Since then no non-Apple apps have worked.I have tried (many times) to :- 1. restore from a previous backup (plus multiple syncs) and using different backups2. delete an app and reinstall it3. download a new free app (and when that didn't work I deleted it and retried installing it)4. sign in and out of the app store on the iphone5. sign in and out of the app store on my iMac6. de-authorise and re-authorise my iMac7. wipe the iPhone clean and start with a fresh install8. And reset the device too many times. Nothing I have found on any site has worked. I thought the wipe the phone clean would have done it but it hasn't.I have wasted about 20 hours trying to get this thing working again. If I wasn't going on vacation tomorrow I would be at my provider getting them to fix their mess but I can't. Can anyone help? 'other' bar taking up too much space on iphone

ok i've seen this brought up a lot on here so it's definitely happened to other people, where the 'other' bar that shows up on itunes when it shows what's taking up space on your phone takes up way too much space. my phone has 8GB of space (which is apparently only 6.34GB). my audio files are only taking up 2.66GB. i don't have any apps on my phone because i thought if i deleted them it might do something but it didn't, and i can't download any more. i can't use the camera at all. the other bar is taking up 3.66GB of space on my phone and i have no idea what to do. i've searched online for like 2 weeks trying to find a way to get rid of it but it's still there. i already tried restoring it and it didn't do anything. i tried the 'phone clean' thing and it didn't do anything. i saw this comment on a discussion on here that said to go into advanced settings under the safari settings and delete all the web history and i did that and i thought it fixed it but it didn't. i'm still looking up things that could work but i honestly have no idea what to try anymore. is there anything i can do to get rid of it ??

VPN Fire App iPhone 3G

Hey all. I've downloaded the app VPN Fife to my iPhone 5 from a friends appartment, on their VPN. Works great. So, I want to sync to my Macbook pro, thinking it would just transfer over via the sync. It won't, not sure it even sees in on my phone. How do I get this copied over to my iTunes on my laptop. I'd like to sync it to my ipad now too.

My apps are disappearing iPhone 3G

WIthout doing anything I noticed my apps disappearing. First I noticed my YELP app gone, then Netflix app gone, then Instagram gone! I did not delete them because I use these apps frequently. I went to itunes to sync my apps and it shows that I have them on my phone but they won't appear on my phone. Where are they and what happened? Are they invisible on my iPhone but visible on itunes?

Major iPhone 5 issues Help

I've had my iPhone since release date. Everything has been working great up until about a week ago. The phone has an amazing battery life, I guess an update fixed that for me. But now my iPhone will reset itself out of no where 3-4 times a day at random times. The keyboard will get stuck on the screen after entering something and clicking done. Also the iPhone will freeze (I've tried leaving it for as long as a half an hour) and be totally unresponsive. I usually have to use the sleep/wake button in combination with the home button just to reset the phone so it works. It also randomly drops and won't connect to my home wifi at all, I also have a iMac, MacBook Pro, ipad mini, ipad 3, iPhone 3, 3GS, 4, 4S and all of these work flawless with zero problems on my wifi network. My warranty is out in September, but I'm worried about going to an apple genius and having them ask me to re create the problem. What if it doesn't happen at that time? What can I do?

Problems deleting Voice Memo s iPhone 3G

Hello!Im new to the forum but after looking through the forums relating to this issue and trying everything suggested i still have a problem with deleteing voice memo's! The problem:My iphone has no music songs, videos etc on at all only apps and photos. I recently restored from back up but chose to add my songs manually but before i even got that far the voice memo's playlist was already on my iphone and 123 voice memo's are on the phone and are also in the "music" section of the iphone, these voice notes are from last year! I have deleted all voice memos from the app itself and also deleted all voice memos from itunes itself and then sync'd but these voice memos remain! Itunes wont let me delete the voice notes from the iPhone through itunes whether that be though the playlist or through the music tab and as they dont show up anywhere on the phone im out of ideas!  Has any one got a solution? its driving me insane and its over 2GB of voice notes and i think its contributing to my 3.5GB of "other"! Any help would be greatly appreciated and apologies if this has been covered before! Thanks RinaRoo
