How can I view hidden photos on iPhone

I marked some photos as "hidden" in iPhoto on my mac, then synced them to my iPhone 4s running iOS 6. I look in the photos app and the photos don't appear at all, either in "Albums" view or "Events". that's good since they're supposed to be hidden. But sometimes I want to see my hidden photos. Otherwise what's the point of having them? In iPhoto on the Mac it's easy, I just go to the View menu and choose "Hidden photos". But I can't figure out how to do it in the photos app on the iPhone. How do I view hidden photos in the photos app on my iPhone?

Facebook App not connecting with other apps. Help iPhone 5

I recently changed my apple I.D. to a different e-mail address because the one I had was hacked. I recently went to the Apple Store because my iCloud wasn't connecting and backing up my other stuff. So, they deleted the account and connected me to the account under my new e-mail. Everything is working fine. All of my stuff is still the same and nothing has changed. However, my Facebook app isn't working when I try to connect it to other apps such as Pinterest, Twitter, and Vine. When I go to my settings, and then to Facebook, it says "there was a problem accessing your account. Please reenter the password:". I have tried to enter my password multiple times and it doesn't work. I have tried my old password too, and still nothing. I changed my Facebook e-mail and password after my e-mail got hacked. I changed my Facebook e-mail when my e-mail got hacked, and I also changed my password. So, does anyone know what to do? I'm getting very frustrated.  Thanks, Jackie

iPhone 4S continuously shows low load balance notification

It all started when I took some pictures today, then after couple of photos, the Camera app crashes. Tried to open up the camera app again and attempted to take some photos but it crashes immediately again. Couple of seconds later I get this notification. Lots of it. Next thing I did is to hard restart my iPhone but although the notification appears again even though I don't take pictures now. It seems for me that this issue isn't influenced by the camera at all but more on iOS issue. From then on I keep getting this notification to the point whenever I wake my iPhone, I keep pressing the DISMISS button. This is really annoying and frustrating as it attempts to consume my load. For additional info:iPhone 4S 32GBiOS 6.1.3Not jailbrokeniPhone is not set for any 3G/data subscription, whatsoever. iphone app updates frozen in waiting-what to try next

Hi, I tried to update 3 apps on iPhone 5 about a week ago. They got 'stuck' while updating, and now are permanently frozen showing a greyed out icon, and saying the status as 'installing.'  I have tried everything and need more suggestions.This is what I have tried:Restoring - no changeLogging off iTunes account, pressing home and lock button til apple icon appears, then logging back in - this changes the status to 'waiting' but it's still frozenHolding down icon to delete - it doesn't have cross above these 3 affected appsGone into -> General -> Usage -> then selected each affected app and deleted them - no changePlugged into PC and synced, then tried removing apps and installing again - the icons aren't removed when I remove, but when I install them again, it does kickstart the icon to change to 'loading', but then it returns to 'installing' and is still frozenAdding a new app/ installing updates for other apps to check to see if iTunes account works - yes they added/ updated fineCalling Apple tech support. The guy was really nice and helpful, but his advice didn't work (as above.)  He told me to contact the iTunes account support, and ask them to delete the apps from my purchase history and then try re-installing themContacting the ITunes account support - they emailed me back, and advised me that they checked my download queue and "updates of these three apps are not there." (?) So they gave me the advice to do as above. He also sent me to this link: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1702 which at the last step says "If you continue to experience the issue, contact the developer of the application for further assistance."  Now, my issue is: How the heck do I contact the developer, and will this help, when it seems to clearly be an iPhone problem? Should I give up and take the phone into an Apple store? Any other suggestions will help.  Cheers.

iphone 4 randomly freezes-what hardware to swap

Good Afternoon, ive recently started up my own business fixing mobile phones - mostly cracked screens and chassis replacements. Just recently i thought id got a bargain on ebay regarding an iphone 4. It was described as working correctly, can make / receive calls and send texts etc but randomly locks up. Ive got the phone today, unfortunately its locked to the 3 network so ive got a micro sim on the way so I cant actually proceed further at this point.  Although it did crash once on me when i tried to select language's etc - had to hold the home and power button down until it turned off. Ive read on the forums that this is a common fault, and can occur to any iphone - faulty or otherwise.  And the main concensus seems to be to take it back to the store for a swap. My main question is - seeing how im likely to come across this fault again - is the fault software or hardware related? If its hardware related what circuit board is likely to be the culprit?  If we could identify the problem then im sure I could just order the required part on ebay. The fact that apple havent recalled the iphone and that they will accept these faulty iphone's back and swap for new suggests to me its an easy fix - its just easier for the technicians to go in the store room and get a brand new one. Secondly ive just got another iphone 4 white - bought cheap as its totally dead.  Tried a new battery and still nothing.  Got a new dock / charging connector on the way - is it likely to be this at fault?  Doesnt seem to be any sign of water damage, and it wasnt described as this on the ebay page. When id swapped the new battery over i tried to charge the phone ( to see if id fixed it ) and it got extremely hot - so i disconnected right away and left it to cool off. Whats likely to be the issue with that one? Thanks, and hope someone can help Adam

something wrong with my battery iPhone 5

Hi everyone! I have an Iphone 5 that was newly "remodeled" for tmobile. I was wondering if there was something wrong with my battery after a recent decline in performance. I am updated to the latest iOS and I recently restored all of my settings on my phone in an attempt to increase battery performance, leaving only wifi on location for weather. With my current usage and standby, do I have something to be concerned about? I know some individuals that have my usage and will have a standby time of over a day. URGENT HELP iPhone 4S

Last night i went on my phone to make a phone call but all my contacts were somehow deleted i tried turning off my iphone and then turning it on but still had the same problem. I dont know what to do i had icloud but never used the backup for it infact i had not signed in to it till the next day. I somehow managed to get a few of my contacts back through my messages. there were many important numbers in there. To top it off the most important thing to me was all my information on my calender list like my appointments, and many other important events. I do not know hot to retreive it if anyone could please help me it would be greatly appreciated. Thank-you

My iPhone 5 operates at about the speed of dial-up internet.  Every time I try to do something I have to wait. My harddrive is not even close to being full and I always close out of my programs so I am confused.  It is mainly a problem with contacts (adding, editing, viewing, anything). I also occasionally hardware reset (power and home button same time) to try and help but to no avail. Is this an Apple issue that a trip to the Apple Store will take care of?  I am just sick and tired of having upgraded to an iphone 5 only to step backwards in speed and performance, plus switching over deleted over half of my contacts even though I had icloud set up on my 4 and also on my 5 so it should have been seamless.  Is my phone a lemon?

Backup Issues Deleting Other Files iPhone 4S

I recently replaced my iphone screen and afterwards I discovered that my camera roll had crashed. With it, I lost all of my pictures and videos. Luckily, I recovered them from a program that I had downloaded. However, the storage that used to take up my photos and videos on my phone had transfered to the "other" section on itunes. Is the only way to remove/decrease the storage of the "other" file by restoring your iphone? I don't want to restore my iphone because I am also having issues with backing up my phone. Whenever I try to back it up on itunes, it says "the backup was corrupt or not compatable with the iphone". My phone has never been backed up because of this issue, so if I were to restore my phone then all off my files would be deleted. I have tried reseting my phone, but the "other" section is unchanged. Is there anyway I can delete the corrupt files on my phone? I have tried removing all pictures, videos, apps, and music in an attempt to discover the source of the corrupt files but I haven't found them. Also, if I was to "restore backup" with my iphone from my ipad, would that mean losing my messages?

I put my pictures on a new Iphone. Then I restored my old info from my old phone on my new one. The pictures got deleted. Is there any way to get them back? These pics are so important to me. They are of my baby nephew who passed away and I am so sad. Thank you for any ideas. I feel like I may have to look into some kind of forensic restoration for the photos, but honestly, I would just do whatever it took to get them back for our family. I should add that technology is certainly not my forte.... Thank you to everyone for any ideas; I would really appreciate some help with this.

Today I completed a software update for my iPhone 5 without backing it up because I did not receive a warning that all my data would be erased and so, did not realize it would be an issue. Upon completing the update, I realized my mistake but figured it was too late to revert the damage and continued with the restoration of my phone to its factory settings. After completing the update, I realized just how much data was lost (including important notes with financial information and images and videos of recent trips around Europe). Now I am desperate to try to recover the data deleted in the update. Is there any chance at all that I can recover something? The notes and videos are most important to me. I am also missing many Messages but that is less important to me. Can anyone please help? Any response is greatly appreciated!

Water Damage iPhone 4S

On May 18, 2013: Yesterday my cousin and I tipped our canoe while on a river. We had our electronics in a ziploc bag which included my iPhone 4S. We managed to save almost everything including the ziploc bag. We were stuck floating down the fast moving rapids for atleast 30 minutes keeping firm grip on everything. Once our fellow canoe group caught up with us we put everything in their canoe and made a pit stop. there we put the electronics out to dry (only a little bit of water got it). I managed to send one quick text out and tried hard to shut off the phone but it kept rebooting. When we got back to my grandma's house I investigated the iPhone. It was on and working BUT the flash was stuck on and the power button didn't always work, water behind the lower part of the screen  I tried hard to turn it off but it just kept rebooting. With no rice I just layed it out in the sun for an hour.  About 2 hours later we rushed to the mall and went to the Apple Store. They checked the status of the warranty and it just expired 5 days ago. Ugh.. So they just told us there was little they can do and they will replace it for $200.00. At this point I didn't want to give up. At the Apple Store the iPhone was having such a melt down. The Apple employee struggled to keep it on as it kept turning itself off (power button issue). Everything else was functional besides the back camera full of water vapour and LED light. About 3 hours after that I got home I put the phone in rice. I noticed the phone some how got into recovery mode.  Over night and about 24 hours later I took the phone out of the rice plugged into iTunes on my iMac. It was just on recovery mode asking me to recover it on iTunes. It wouldn't work because it kept going into UNKNOWN ERROR 2001 and UNKNOWN ERROR 2006. I read somewhere a fix can be putting it from recovery mode into DFU mode. But remember the power button isn't still working so it is impossible to go into that mode. I think I got it once but still had the same errors. I am not ready to give up. I know there is no such thing as minor water damage but it really does seem minor because everything was functional just the phone put itself into recovery mode with a messed up power button.  I'm asking what I should do now. I really don't want to spend $200 for another iPhone 4S when the next generation iPhone will come at what ever time. It seems pointless getting an old phone than a new one. I just want to be able to use this one until then. Thanks for reading my rants. Brady

Hi there! there are troubles with Facebook Push notifications on my two iPhones 4 (iOS 6.1.2) and 4S (iOS6.1.3) and on my Macbook Pro 15 (OS X 10.8.3). there are no any push notifications about new messages or "likes" by integrated Facebook App and by Facebook app prom iTunes too. I have notifications in notification center about statuss updates and comments, but sounds there are no at all. Everything in settings are switched on:-Settings/Facebook-Settings/Notifications/Facebook-Facebook/Account Settings/Notifications/Mobile Push I have done anything i can. Signed Out from all apps, deleted Facebook App, swithed off and then swithed on notifications, Signed In again and again. What can i do to solve this problem? I realy need notifications about messages on iOS and OS X.

Ios 6.1.3 Red Eye Correction iPhone 5

Today I was taking pictures of my family, and I was using the flash on my phone because the light in the room was very dull. After taking the pictures and looking at them, I noticed the red eye thing that happens when you use flash. I decided to get rid of them with the red eye correction tool in the stock camera app, and after about 15 taps of pressing the red spots on one of the eyes on my cousin, the tool kept making dark spots in the wrong spot each time, and then the photos app just crashes. Um How can I fix this issue? because its persistent with every picture I Do it too.

iPhone 5's POWER BUTTON got compressed.

I bought an iPhone 5 last month, for starters, i didn't notice that the Power Button was compressed as in its still working but just, it doesn't have the 'button click' feel like a normal iPhone. recently my friend bought an iPhone too, when i compared our iPhones, i found out that his iPhone's Power Button has a 'pop up' feel where mine is compressed. I'm from Kuala Lumpur and the place i bought it in Johor. Can i know whether can i get a repair or replacement for it? Who should i contact to do so? Note: i bought it in a small DIGI shop in Johor. And, i heard that iPhones bought in small retail shops cannot be replaced/repair/etc.

I'm planning on buying the iphone 5 because I have an upgrade available. I have never owned an iphone before, but I do have an 2gn ipod which has 8 gbs and has 2 apps and have used 5.5 of my 6.84 gbs available with songs(1175 songs). I have also have 30 photos, and have 1.5 gbs left to fill. If I do get the iphone 5 I will not put music on it, because I have my ipod. I would like to have a lot of apps though, because I like to test them out, and give reviews on them. I have a fair amount of photos in my current phone(around 400), but the camera quality is not that good, and I think because the iphone 5 have a lot more gbs than my current one that I will want to take more than I usually do(although I would probably upload them onto my computer and delete the originals off my phone). I don't have that many contacts and I have a tablet where I play my games and movies on, so that is not an issue. I know this is a bit long but I really want to make the right choice because I plan on having this phone until my next upgrade which is in 2 years. I want to know if 16gbs should be enough or if should I go with the 32gbs? OR if I should just wait for the newer version to come out, and if this is worth to buy. I would also would like to know what the perks and downsides are too. Thank you for your patience and time.

I have just started to update the latest iOS 6.1.3 and my wifi disconnected and all of my contacts have been deleted. My phone has not updated to ios 6.1.3 as wifi stopped working. I have never backed up on iTunes on a computer, I always download everything directly from wifi onto my iPhone. Can I get my contacts back? If I can, how? Please help!!

iPhone 4s stuck in recovery mode. Error code-1 .

I recently bought my iPhone 4s from a guy (who bought it from someone else). He sold it to me pretty cheap because when he bought it, one of his friends tried to restore it for him and it got stuck in recovery mode. I have no idea if the phone has ever been "tampered with" or not. He didn't seem to know much about it (said it was his first smartphone) and I thought I might have a chance of fixing it. I'm starting to lose faith in that...I've tried almost everything I can find. I know there are tricks for this all over the internet and I've tried almost all of them. TinyUmbrella does nothing, Redsn0w won't even install on my computer (frustrating!). Trying to restore from iTunes is useless. It gets to about 90% then comes up with error code (-1) and gives up. I've tried that route probably 20 times with no change. I know I could take it into Apple and they could look at it, but I have no information on the phone itself. I cannot get the serial number. Does anyone have any suggestions at all? I'll try anything that doesn't require me taking it to Apple and getting charged more than I paid for the phone to fix it....I run Windows 7. Thanks so much!

I bought the iPhone 5 from  Star One Mobile in Sim Lim Square Singpore recently. After reaching my place , just found that the  serial number and IMEI number in my iPhone 5 product and the packaging box are different. When I check on the website the packaging number shows the product is replaced but the number in product shows valid. Can some one explain the difference?I did not anticipate an Apple product having a difference in serial and IMEI number  from the packaging --- probable that the Star one mobile could have changed the package?

i have just had my iphone 4s lcd repaired and black spots are on screeen

i recently dropped my iphone4s,screen didnt smash or marked but wouldn't light up,made all the right sounds.took it to be repaired at local mobile shop and they sent it away to have new lcd and digitizer replaced.  I got it marked and noticed home button had dropped then 5/6 days later 3 black marks/spots appeared on the bottom right hand side of screen??? returned to shop and engineer is refusing to repair as saying i damaged phone......I havent done anything apart from use it as it should be.can anyone shed some light as to why this is happening? many thanks

iPhone 5 not ringing or alerting of texts calls going to voice mail

My iPhone 5 recently started having problems with the ringer.  The ringer will be turned all the way up, the mute button is NOT being used and the phone will not ring for calls or alert for texts.  It is not always happening, but more so than not.  I have tried rebooting the phone, the OIS is up to date and I do not have the "Do Not Disturb" set.  I can be in the same spot with LTE and full signal have a call/text that is missed then receive a call/text and it rings.  Does not seem to matter if the call is coming from a land line, same Verizon carrier cell or different carrier cell there is no noticable reason.  Any ideas???

iMessage photos say Not Delivered but are received by recipient iPhone 5

For about 6 weeks now, a lot of the time when I send a photo via iMessage it always comes back as "not delivered" but the recipient actually gets it. This is extremely annoying and has only been doing it recently. Anybody else experiencing the same thing and/or have a fix for this?

Iphone 5 keeps turning itself off

Hi Ive had iphone 5 since it came out, and recently this year, its been turning itself off with plenty of battery life and wont allow me to turn it back on until I have plugged it into wall charger to 'charge' it back up.  When its plugged in, it returns to the battery level it was originaly at....30%, 50% for example. Has anyone else experienced this issue?  Im going to do a iCloud and computer back up and restore firmware see if that helps?Chris

iphone 5 suddenly no sound

I recently had a software update (6.1.4) on my Iphone 5.  I ran the update last week and everything seemed fine.  However, as of yesterday my phone no longer made sound, it just stopped making sounds to everything.  It makes no sound when it rings, when I receive a text/email or when I try to listen to music.  The sound is completely dead.  The little switch on the left of the phone is turned on for volume.  I did a reset and nothing seems to help.  Has anyone encountered this problem?  Does anyone have a solution?
