Hi guys i got my iphone 5 about 2 week after launch and about 3 weeks later i lost all sound clicks from text's, game apps, youtube wouldn't play any videos and it worked perfectly fine when i went to bed wake up in the morning to this. I rebooted the phone and this resolved the issue, the phone was not in silent mode via settings or via the slider at the top of the phone. the phone would be working fine for about 3 weeks then this would happen again same issues as above this went on till about the 14th December and Apple decided to change my phone now its happening again. I am at a lose end does anybody know a fix or heard of this before as i am sure this problem could not happen too 2 different phones ? Thanks
iphone 5 won't record sound during video capture
Hi there. My iphone 5 has been working perfectly for about 5 months then about a month ago I noticed that my camera was just recording a hissing sound (nothing else) during video capture. Voice memos record and play perfectly and everything else works as it should The strange thing is that if I insert my earphones then the camera will record sound even from far away but when I take them out again it just records a hissing sound. I've tried plugging the earphones in and out, hard reset, and restoring but I still have the same issue.surely the voice memo and camera use the same microphone? The only thing that seems to be wrong is that the phone camera records no sound without earphones plugged in Please somebody tell me there's an easy fix as we have no apple stores here so I would need to ship it off to be repaired if the need be.

I have compared it with to a few demo phone from different stores, and some friends, and my iphone is the loudest. Anyone else got this problem? Take your time to write a thoughtful comment on a video, hit send, and it's gone, "youtube is not available". It happens frequently on the iphone app yet never happens on the desktop site. This bug has followed the youtube app across multiple phones (OG & 3G), multiple OS updates, and still happens randomly. Not having a feature is better than one that frequently doesn't work, and frustrates, as well as wastes your time...I'm so ready to checkout the latest from HTC I copied this question from an archived thread from 2009. I'm having the same issue. I comment on youtube a couple of times and it's fine, the third time it completely blocks me. It's very frustrating. Looking at the replies from 4 years ago it seems that its definitely the app that has the issue, not the main website. Something to do with capture was the solution last time. I'm planning on buying the iphone 5 because I have an upgrade available. I have never owned an iphone before, but I do have an 2gn ipod which has 8 gbs and has 2 apps and have used 5.5 of my 6.84 gbs available with songs(1175 songs). I have also have 30 photos, and have 1.5 gbs left to fill. If I do get the iphone 5 I will not put music on it, because I have my ipod. I would like to have a lot of apps though, because I like to test them out, and give reviews on them. I have a fair amount of photos in my current phone(around 400), but the camera quality is not that good, and I think because the iphone 5 have a lot more gbs than my current one that I will want to take more than I usually do(although I would probably upload them onto my computer and delete the originals off my phone). I don't have that many contacts and I have a tablet where I play my games and movies on, so that is not an issue. I know this is a bit long but I really want to make the right choice because I plan on having this phone until my next upgrade which is in 2 years. I want to know if 16gbs should be enough or if should I go with the 32gbs? OR if I should just wait for the newer version to come out, and if this is worth to buy. I would also would like to know what the perks and downsides are too. Thank you for your patience and time.

I've issue with the sound of iphone 4s, last 2 days, suddenly no sound coming out of the speaker but it is ringing and speaker during calls working well But no sound for example: for the video clips, youtube, games apps, etc. I've restored the iphone but the issue not yet resolved. So I have this iphone but when I play graphical games like Iron Man 3 the official games I can barely play it because it lags a lot.i checked on my other iphone 4 and it was running smooth as butter it is the same iphone like mine but I noticed that on this iphone the graphics are much higher. Issues after 6.1.4 update iphone 5
IS anyone else having issues after the 6.1.4 update? Here is what I have experienced in the last two days. 1- Unable to access a locked or secure network. It asks for password initially. When entered, it is unable to connect. I restart and then go to Settings, find the network and click. I never get a prompt for the password, just "Unable to Connect" 2-Bluetooth. I can after a few attempts to connect my Bluetooth headphones, only after I get a "Failed attempt" a few times. Then only music works, unable to make phone calls. This happens with two different products. A SENA SMH 10R and LG HBS 700. 3- Music play - I found this issue out when trying to figure out problem with Bluetooth. I can start to play a song fine, but if I click on the ">>" or "<< " it freaks the player out and then skips multiple songs or stops play and goes back to the playlist. At first it was doing this with the Bluetooth headphones when using it to make selections. So I deleted the devices and the iphone continued to do it when selecting functions on the screen. Some playlists did it and some don't. Creating a new playlist did not help. Additional Info.Apple Store replaced my iphone on Saturday 5.4.13 because if antina issues. The issues above came after I restored from backup and updated the OS. I have erased the phone 2 times since getting the new phone and restored from back up and rebuilt from Itunes and neither way makes a difference above. What is going ON? Siri won't play my playlists iphone 5
If I ask to play any of my playlists, for example "play playlist Mix One" or "play playlist Five", Siri plays the first song on the playlist, and any other songs on whoever the first artist's is album, even if it's not ON that playlist! It's as if it won't play any playlist that has different artists on it. If I manually go in and select a playlist it works fine, but Siri won't play an entire playlist mix, just one artist. An internet search was unhelpful. Any ideas? Kelli

Hello, I have previously used Shoutcast radio player on Android and I liked the fact that it showed the name of the song playing. I downloaded Shoutcast for my iphone and that feature has been removed it seems. So my question is this: Is there a preferabley free music app that will allow me to search for my genre of music and play that station and list names of songs? My generes of music are Metallica Stations and Soundtrack Stations. That's what I like to listen to mostly. So is there any app out there or am I stuck with Shoutcast until they update the app? Airplay Mirroring and HBO Go Audio Problems iphone 3G
Hi folks, Great news a month ago about HBO Go's support of Airplay in-app. However, whenever I try to stream content to my Apple TV, I only receive video. I'm using the latest Apple TV firmware (5.2.1) and an iphone 4s with 6.1.3. Oddly enough the HBO "Intro" video standard on this application will stream with audio, but main features never have audio. Likewise, Other applications supporting Airplay (youtube, etc.) will successfully stream both video and audio to the Apple TV. Any idea what's going on? Thanks so much!

I have already been on the Apple Support website where it lists what iTunes will backup. It says that it will backup application settings, data, and preferences. iphone screen black but still works iphone 4S
7 days ago my phone fell into a pool, I spent many precaution and put it in rice for 3 days no power. And work like a champ again for the last 4. Last night the screen shut off while the phone still is working. I can't see what I'm doing, but I can play music... Plug in password etc. I've already tried pressing home and power button but the reboot always shuts off after a few seconds... Any ideas?
I have an iphone 4 and recently purchased very good golf coaching app. However being vision impaired I have trouble viewing videos in app. I got an HDMI plug n play adaptor and cable but all I get on my TV when I plug them in voice
When I plug my phone into the adaptor and connect to the TV via the HDMI cable I can hear the voice from the videos but I get no picture. Perhaps there is a special HDMI adaptor for the iphone 4. My daughter has a 4s and the adaptor works perfectly with her phone. Any suggestions?

Hey guys, I have a iphone 4,I noticed when I switch the silent button off it doesn't show the picture(symbol) on the screen. No sound when typing, Recieving calls or messages, App sounds (background music etc) . Although i can play music just fine, When i go into my setting > (sound) i can select the ringtones and messages and they play back... Just wont play back when i recieve phone calls or messages. (I've tried resetting everything, turning the iphone off.... Nothing made a difference) I'd be gratefull if someone could resolve this Problem

Right side of power button unresponsive at times registering two clicks. iphone 5
So I've had the black iphone 5 since October and only recently has the power button been a little off. I tried finding solutions for this online and the problem can be displayed in this video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4uSROJwU_w Sometimes it works, but more than half the time clicking the power button on the right side will cause it to either not respond or cause it to blink (if locked) or lock then turn back on instantly (if trying to lock and screen is on). Left side seems to work fine but I'd just like to know what the cause is and if it's due to hardware issues covered by the one year warranty.

Volume bar disappeared iphone 4S
My volume bar disappears when I remove the headphone jack from it, making it unable for me to play music/videos without my headphones. I have cleaned out the proper places and I have even reset my phone (I did not hard reset it, I only reset all of its settings). I don't know how else I am supposed to fix this problem unless I have to go to an Apple store... which I hope isn't the case as I live about three hours away from the closet one.

It looks like my phone thinks its plugged into to an external device, meaning I can hear only through blue tooth or when an auxilary cable is plugged into my car etc. If I try to play music from my phone or use the speaker phone while on a conversation I cant hear anything???? iphone 5 external speaker no long works
I've had my iphone since October 21st, 2012. This is a white, 16gb AT&T iphone 5. The issue here is the ONLY way to get my iphone to play sounds is to have headphones in. It plays no sounds whatsoever unless its using headphones or during a call on the speaker by the from facing camera. I've tried turning my phone on and off, updating it to iOS 6.1.3, restoring the settings to factory settings, restoring my phone, then using a backup. I've tried the q-tip in the headphone jack, and pushing on the bottom right side of the phone for 10 seconds. It's only had a very,very small amount of water in it maybe 3 weeks ago. I rarely drop it, and I do my best to keep it in great condition. The first time I noticed the issue with no sound is right after I tried to use FaceTime, using speaker phone. I'm hoping there is someway to fix this without having to drive all the way up to the nearest Apple store and hassle with them. Any more suggestions, I'd gladly appreciate it.

Is there an app that will let me place the phone dialer in a folder and lock that folder so my son can't open it without the code or password. He is three and he can play the games, but I dfon't want him to have access to the dialer.
