Okay, so I wanted to install vine (an app) but I can't. The reason why is because the free button (the app is free) is faded out so I can't download it. Cracked Screen on iphone 4

I dropped a hard metal spoon while i was clearing up and it landed directly ontop of my iphone when it was the table and its cracked the screen.The phone still works as if no damage has happened, but its just a crack and im worried it will get worse.  I bought this phone definately less than a year ago, around christmas because i remember being served through the fast lanes, so its still under warranty. I just wanted to know how much it costs to fix it. My friend told me she took her phone back when she owned an iphone because she had cracked the screen too by dropping it. And they gave her one free, so i dont know how much it is, but when my brother went because of the speakers not working on his, they wanted him to pay £119, but that was two years ago. I doubt very much i will get a free one because it was damage caused by me, so i just want a rough idea how much it will cost to fix because im hearing two different things.  Thanks in advance

Iphone 5 was stolen

im 2 months into my 24 month contract no insurance as i thought the house insurance covered it but they dont as the phone was stolen from work. So im stuck with a contract for a phone i dont have that some guy now has for free..... I have been using the find my iphone app but it has been offline since? they turned the phone off straight away (as any thief would do)After doing some research i came to know that the find my iphone app doesnt work if the phone has been switched off?  Ive reported the theft to police they have CCTV footage but cant track the theives! Isnt there anything that can be done other fork out for a new phone?! I dont understand why an app would be made that does half the job? obviously the first thing a thief would do is turn the phone off? And ive even found out that if they plug the phone into itunes they can jus wipe the handset not impressed. We pay so much for these handsets yet there not even upto scratch with security features. (overpriced? definatley) You would think that with all these updates they come up with they would have done something for the security and tracking. Im disappointed with the what i have found.

Recently whenever I try updating my apps a message pops up saying "sign in required, please sign in to view billing information" so I sign in and it takes me to the payment options page, there I have all my correct data inserted which I checked about 5 times, but it says "access denied, please Chios another payment method". iPhone apps not opening-have tried all usual fixes

A few days ago I got my iPhone unlocked from my provider (Telstra) as I am about to travel and wanted to put a country specific sim in it. Since then no non-Apple apps have worked.I have tried (many times) to :- 1. restore from a previous backup (plus multiple syncs) and using different backups2. delete an app and reinstall it3. download a new free app (and when that didn't work I deleted it and retried installing it)4. sign in and out of the app store on the iphone5. sign in and out of the app store on my iMac6. de-authorise and re-authorise my iMac7. wipe the iPhone clean and start with a fresh install8. And reset the device too many times. Nothing I have found on any site has worked. I thought the wipe the phone clean would have done it but it hasn't.I have wasted about 20 hours trying to get this thing working again. If I wasn't going on vacation tomorrow I would be at my provider getting them to fix their mess but I can't. Can anyone help? My iPhone 4S will not connect to wifi when I have to enter a password (yes, the password is correct).  It will connect to free wifi.  Any ideas?  I've tried resetting network settings, forget this network, rebooting and renew lease.

Recently my iPhone 4s stopped charging via the wall charger and my car charger, I have experimented with various cords and wall charging units, and it still does not charge. I recently took my iPhone to the Mall of America Apple Store and they said that the problem is with the device and since the device is out of warranty, I could use my upgrade and "upgrade" to the iPhone 4 for free, I could get a replacement 4s for $200, etc. However, since I am unemployed and my contract is almost up with Sprint, I do not want to spend that kind of money. The Sprint store says the problem is with the cords, but since I have tried multiple cords, I suspect the Apple Store is right. Has anyone here experienced this issue, if so were you able to fix and how did you?

Hello, I have previously used Shoutcast radio player on Android and I liked the fact that it showed the name of the song playing.  I downloaded Shoutcast for my Iphone and that feature has been removed it seems.  So my question is this:  Is there a preferabley free music app that will allow me to search for my genre of music and play that station and list names of songs? My generes of music are Metallica Stations and Soundtrack Stations.  That's what I like to listen to mostly. So is there any app out there or am I stuck with Shoutcast until they update the app?   Thank you for your assistance

I bought a full price Unlocked iPhone 5 from Apple back in January to use on Straight Talk. I had some issues with data on Straight Talk not being reliable and I had to keep turning data off and on again to get a connection. Now that TMobile is supporting the iPhone at the same price as Straight Talk I figured i'd give them a try - after all that's what having an unlocked phone with no contrat is all about right? I'm a free agent. So i signed up however i don't get 3G anyhere, and my 4G coverage is spotty (talking HSPA+ 4G not LTE). This is because my $599 unlocked phone doesn't have AWS support.  My question is why won't Apple release an update that will allow my identical hardware to work the way the one would if i bought it from TMobile? It's the same A1428 Model, the ony difference is the software.  I really don't have to have to sell my older A1428 to buy a new A1428 from TMobile just to get it to work when it should have anyway.  Can someone respond as to what Apple plans to do about this? Thanks,Andrew

Accurate data app iPhone 3G

I'm new to the iphone; I switched from android.  I'm trying to find a data app similar to what I used on my old phone.  It would show me the data amount, allow me to put in the data limit and start date.  It would also show me the apps that were using the data.  The app was Onavo count I think.  I tried the iphone version and its not  the same.  It wants me to set up a VPN?-is that safe?  I just want a good data app that is accurate and allows me put in my data limit and start date -bill cycle date.  Is there an app free or paid; free hopefully that will do that? Thank you for your help.

to cut a long story short. I was interested in an i-phone... got the details..checked them all.. on the phone and with the provider, VODAPHONE... told unlocked, not stolen etc etc. proceeded to buy the phone...new sim topped up £10 only to find it wouldn't work...  Went into vodaphone store..been running around following thier advice..(they said I need a friend who is a customer on vodaphone to get passed the unlocking with a vodaphone code.. and they would do it for free given the circumstances...so i run errands go back and forth doing as they asked...got nowhere) SO IT IS NOW A MONTH LATER..and after complaining and complaining to thier email site and repeatedly asking for help in store..I am stumped as what to do and just have a glorified ipod. I WILL NOT BE FORCED TO REMAIN ON THE VODAPHONE NETWORK given the situation they have put me in and thier unwillingness to help so i refuse to use the phone with vodaphone... BUT WHAT can i do PLEASEEEEEEE? all they keep on suggesting is that I get the original owners details but he is not answering anything...and the phone is not registered as stolen etc so what is the problem!? As you can imagine I am really peeved by the whole thing as I actually carried out all the necessary checks, and whilst the phone was not bought directly from vodaphone, I went to them as the provider, to find otu about unlocking etc as it is always advised to do so..and it was them that gave me the wrong information but they still will not resolve the issue. I have even sent them phone records to confirm when I rung and the name of the invalid who told me the phone was unlocked in the first place. I really would much appreciate any help as they are ignoring  my emails now.

hi.. im newb..  my missus & me just got 2 iphone 5 64gb, all up to date with ios and we both get the same problem. hopefully i can explain it properly. after u hit the button on the top when ur not using the phone and then come back later to use it, you press round button, sometimes nothing happens sometimes and it takes anywhere from 30 secs to a few minutes before it shows the slide to unlock screen. it doesnt happen all the time, but enough to be annoying. ive restarted a few times and this doesnt seem to have any effect. now my messages are doing the same thing - it hangs on a blank blue screen. my partner suggested it could be because its 64gb? either way, my phone is empty, like 50gb free. Any help would be appreciated. I use my phone for work & its annoying when u need to show someone a photo or something and right just then ur phone decides to go on vacation.....

Facebook app disappeared and cannot retrieve iPhone 3G

I have an iPhone 4S, about a year now.  Yesterday I downloaded a Facebook update and went to sleep.  Wake up in morning and Facebook app is missing from phone.  It was on my front page, next to a blank spot, and now there are two blank spots in the bottom right of my front page.  Here is what I have tried: -Resetting phone (home+on/off button).  Reset 3-4 times, nothing.-Reinstalling app.  Looked up Facebook app in app store, and shows as being installed.  So there is an "Open" button where there would be an "Install" button if I did not yet have the app.  I click the "Open" button and it does nothing, like it's a dead button.-Searching for Facebook.  On the iOs "Search iPhone" bubble (swipe right on home screen) I search for Facebook.  Nothing shows up but contacts.-Synching on iTunes.  App doesn't show up on list, tried a synch, reset phone, nothing worked. I have 111 apps installed across 7 pages (with a few blank spots scattered across).  I do not and never had "Restrictions" enabled.  I have not changed any other settings anytime recently.  I have 4 gigs of free space on my phone. Any guidance here would be appreciated...thanks!

HI, Firstly i have an Iphone 4S 16GB. I understand there has been many posts about this but i'm desperate for a direct answer as to why my "other" storage is at 5.20GB. I have gotten ridden of unwanted songs, apps and photos to free up space but yet i still have only 0.9GB free. I'm so frustrated and in desperate need of help, I don't know what else to do! Certain apps such as Tumblr (I've previously had the Tumblr app on my phone) and Vine will NOT dowload on my phone. I've tried deleting all apps from both my iPhone and iTunes, I've tried restoring my phone then backing it up, I've tried downloading the app from iTunes while my phone is plugged into my computer, etc. When I search the apps in the app store they show up but the 'free' button is white and unclickable, it's very frustrating. When I download it from iTunes while my phone is plugged in I can watch it download, but when it's done it immediately dissapears from the screen and from my phone. SPYWARE ON MY IPHONE 4S

new iPhone lost all my apps

I bought a new iphone 5 as my 4S unfortunately was damaged beyond repair. I then used iCloud to reconfigure my new phone. All my old apps initially appears on the phone but then procedded to update and be removed from the phone. When I go to the app store to try and download previously purchased apps, it states that they have all been downloaded. If I do download a free one again manually onto the phone, the phone has remembered where it was located and even creates a new folder with the same individualised name that I had on my old phone.How do I recover all these apps without having to pay for them again and download them individually?Thanks

Had iPhone 5 for 3 weeks with an Otterbox Defense Case on it and already defect

I purchased my iPhone 5 on 3/15/2013 and the salesperson at Sprint put the phone in the Otterbox Defense case while I was purchasing the phone. I dropped my phone from less than two feet that night with the case on. I did not notice any cracks or scratches until three weeks later. I am seriously hurt and extremely mad that the warranty is so limited, especially in less than 30 days, to not replace the phone for free. I have dropped my last phone, an HTC, multiple times and did not even have a nice, durable cover like the Otterbox Defense case and I never scratched or cracked the screen. Now, I have to pay $229 for a new iPhone, which I just spent $250 for one three weeks ago! I really love Apple products, but this infuriates me.

Hello,A few weeks ago the wifi stopped working on my iPhone 4s… it couldn’t find a wifi network and the times it could, it only worked for a few minutes. This problem occurred a few days after uploading iOs 6.1.2.So I went to the Apple store two weeks ago and they gave me a new cellphone for free (still was on warranty, otherwise it is $199 to replace an old device), because they thought the problem was my phone itself. At home, I was so happy to have a new phone and the wifi was working again without problems! I put my back-up on and started using it.Sunday, I uploaded iOs 6.1.3.Monday (one week after having my new iPhone) I lost my wifi connection again.On Wednesday, tired to have wifi connectivity issues, I reseted the network settings. When my phone turned on, the wifi option was grayed out and had been since then.Friday (today), I erased all content and settings. When my phone turned on, the first thing I did was to check at the wifi option: it still was grayed out (even if my phone was empty at a ‘factory reset’).I will have to go to the Apple store once again.I will lose money and time again (because going to the Apple store means an 2h45 bus ride to go/come back and yes, it is expensive).I hope the problem will be fixed this time, but I really don’t think so because the problem seems to be from iOs 6 (and its updates).Apple, I searched the web and found that I’m FAR from being the only customer with this connectivity problem. No news from you. No update. No nothing.I will NEVER buy from Apple again. I don’t trust your products anymore.
