i was  unable to restore and call on my iphone4

iphone not being detected by computer stuck in DFU mode. Please help.

My iphone is not being detected by my computer. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes 3 times to no avail. This occurred during a restore in which the computer lost connection to the phone and left it in DFU mode. Please help. I also must add that my lock button is broken as well.

AT T iphone 5 gets stuck on EDGE network

When my AT&T iphone 5 goes to a low signal zone, or an EDGE zone, such as a friends basement, my girlfriends house, or an elevator, it switches to EDGE, but when I go to a good signal area, it stays on EDGE for a while (at least an hour), or until I shut off the antennas using airplane mode or restarting the phone. Sometimes it also affects Wi-Fi, and when the phone connects to Wi-Fi it gets no data on some apps, until I reset the connection using airplane mode. I want to know once and for all if this is a known hardware or software issue, if I should try to get the phone replaced (which I've had since October), or I should just deal with it as a new phone will not help. I've tried reinstalling iOS, resetting network connections, and DFU restore.

So my iphone 4s has been having problems with the no service error now and again so I decided to reset the network settings to try and fix it. Now since this reset,my iphone refuses to connect to wifi even though the password I'm entering is 100% correct!  I keep getting the 'Incorrect password error'. I've resetted the router and reset the wifi network, rebooted my phone,performed a hard reset but there is still no fix  I have many other devices connected to my wifi without any problems. 3 computers, an ipad, android tablet and other iphone. My phone is jailbroken on 6.1.2 so I don't want to have to restore my phone. My phone will connect to wifi with wifiFoFum but as soon as my phone goes to sleep it disconnects so its rather annoying! I hope you can help

Hello!In anticipation of upgrading from my 4S at some point, and unhappy with many visual elements of iOS7 (as it appears now), I'm wondering if it's possible to install iOS5 or iOS6 on an iphone 5.  I'm currently running iOS5.1.1 (and am very happy with it, thank you very much). Is the OS backed up along with the phone's content, allowing a transfer/restore of both the content and the iOS?  Or are older iOS's available in some other way?Thanks,David

HelloMy son has typed in my passcode wrong on my iphone 5 and it says 'iphone disabled please connect to iTunes'I had rung O2, and they said that the only thing they can do is do a restore on the phone but then everything will be deletedI'm not bothered about the apps getting deleted, it's the photos and videos I am most worried about because they are of my 4 month old daughter since birth and these are the only photos that I have of her. I have only sent around 20 photos to family and friends so if I lose all these photos on my phone then I will only have 20. There are over 2000 pictures of her on my phone so I really really need to get them back I don't have iTunes, I have never downloaded it or anything. I have always taken my pictures off just by plugging my phone into the computer, going to My Computer and copy and pasting them like that but I have not done this in 2 months and there are so many photos and videos that will be lost.I downloaded iTunes, logged in using my email and password but every time I connect my phone it keeps saying for me to put my password in on the phone but the numbers aren't on the phone screen.Is there any way I can get my photos back?Can Apple get them back for me?Please help  

iphone 4S restore error codes 2006 and 2001. what these actually mean

My son's phone suddenly stopped working. We connected it to the Imac using the USB cable and it came up with a restore procedure suggestion to resolved the issue. We downloaded the latest version of ITunes and then we followed the restore process. I then see a pop up error message: The iphone "iphone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (2001).  So I disconnected from the IMac reconnected and re-ran the restore procedure. This time we got the same message but with a 2006 error code.  The phone is less than a year old (bought for Christmas). It has been taken care of with no scratches, bangs or drops. What is happening and what do I need to resolve? Is it something that can be fixed?should it cost me (is this under warranty) to resolve / repair? Hopefully someone can help. Thanks Paul

Hi, I held down the off and home button on my iphone 4S 64GB and i thought it just turned off but it reset the apps and i still have photos and apps and everything but when i open any social aps it comes up with "connect to iTunes to use push notifications" and also before this event i was using iMessage all the time aswell as texting and now when i use iMessage it doesnt let me send or recieve messages anymore on my iphone but it does on my iPad and it lets me recieve Texts. iphone 4SWindows 8 iTunes Sync Problems iphone 4S

Whenever I try to sync my iphone 4S, iOS 6.1.3, to my new Asus computer with Windows 8, I get a message saying "iTunes cannot read the contents of this iphone. Go to the Summary tab and restore." So I go to Summary and hit restore, and it doesn't seem do anything, other than want to download new iphone software, which always takes about 4 hours, and I inevitably end up with some sort of error that prevents it from loading.  I've removed and reinstalled iTunes, and restarted my phone, but it doesn't seem to work.  I would like to be able to sync to my computer, but it doesn't seem to work.  Before I was on an Asus computer with Windows 7 and it worked fine, and now I can't get it to work at all.  I have the same Internet Security provider as before, so I don't think that's it.   Can anyone figure out what I should do? Hi, so last week my phone suddenly turnt off. An hour later I could turn it back on, but then the next day the exact same problem and I couldn't turn it on. About 20 hours later and 5 programs I had fixed it. Then now, its 'died' on me again.  Firstly, I have 100% battery. Connecting to my docking system turns it on but brings up the set up page (connect to iTunes on first use) It isn't recognised when plugged into the wall, I've used threee different wires and different wall adapters. iTunes can't restore it as half way through my phone cuts out and then iTunes can't find it. I don't touch my phone whilst connected so it's an internal issue there.  I have tried other progams and they don't recognise my iphone either.  Could it be the battery? Should I replace it? Or could it just be loose? It's 2 years old, so yeah I need a new phone. But I currently can't afford to replace it, so I need as much help into getting this one working for now! Ha Ha Also, it's the iphone 4 and it isn't water damaged.

4S-No sound from speaker no mic no vibration doesn't detect headphones iphone 4

Hello, I just replaced my 4S's display, and after reassembly the iphone powered on as normal, but - there is no sound, mic or vibration what so ever. It doesn't detect a headphone jack either. The mute button and volume buttons work just fine, volume control shows up but there is no vibrate or sound at all.  So this basically makes it useless as a phone ... Anyone know what could be causing the issue? I tightened the screws, tried reconnecting the cables and the speakers. Hoping this is not an issue with the audio IC. Definately not software related, tried full DFU restore, tried cleaning the dock connector and jack, the iphone is NOT stuck in dock connector mode. TL;DR: No sound from any speaker, no vibrate what so ever, no mic, doesn't detect headphone jack. Anyone know what's wrong? Could it be a damaged Audio IC (don't really see how this can happen)? Broken flex cable?

Hi, I recently restored and updated my iphone, as soon as i did this the battery started draining very quickly. I'd charge it up to 100% then in like 1 or 2 hrs it goes back down to 10%. Its still fairly new under the contract, so this shouldn't be happening, is there any way i can fix this?

I tried to update my iPhones IOS and when I did, it said that I needed to restore my iphone, so I did, or I tried. When I went to restore it, it worked for a little while, then stopped and pulled up a error that says "there was a problem downloading the software for the iphone, " iphone " . An unknown network error occurred (9006). I have searched everywhere for a solution to my problem, to find no solution. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, turning in off firewalls, virus protectors, etc. I am very desperate to fix this problem because my iphone is a paperweight until this problem is resolved, please help me!

vodafone issues iphone 4S

Hi all,  i will list my problems and see what you all think,,,,, i have a iphone 4s on vodafone running 6.1.3 firmware, for the first 11/12mths i would say this phone was faultless ( taking around 200 calls a day), recently the phone refuses to make calls and send txt messages, it wont even connect to the internet using 3g, it has to have wirelesss connectivity for the browsers to work. i took it to the local vodafone shop and they insisted it was the sim card at fault, even though i did try it in my other phone (nokia E50-2), so i took the replacement sim anyway. checks already done:- i have taken my vodafone contract sim from the iphone and placed it in the nokia, it works fine sending and recieving both calls and txti have taken my vodafone PAYG sim out of the nokia and placed it in the iphone, it refused to work but worked fine in the nokiai have reset the network settings, i have deleted all apps from the iphone and done a full restore, but it still refuses to workit shows full signal strength all the time where i live, as does the nokia, if i try to call it from the nokia it tells me the phone is not available even though they are sat side by side with full signal, if i try to call the nokia it comes back called failed.i have tried to send a txt message to my own phone number only for it to come back failed, yet in the nokia it sends no problem.vodafone refuse to admit it is a problem with there network and it is an iphone issue, the phone is now 13mths old and out of warranty (typical), i requested the iphone be unlocked from vodafone to check other networks, this has now been done so i put a spare O2 sim in the iphone and it sends and recieves both calls and text with no issues, yet vodafone still say it is not a network problem!!!!!!! is anyone else having similar problems to mine??? or is it something wrong with the phone???? i personnaly think when the phone was updated to the 6.1.3 firmware it has a problem with vodafone, plese tell me what you think, i am going crazy with this phone, cant believe its not kissed the wall or other hard surface yet.

about a month ago i took a bath with my iphone 5 and didnt realized it and when i came out of the water the screen was black and didnt work and after that i putted my iphone in rice for 3 days so it dryed out but when i tryed to boot it up nothing happend so now after that month i put my iphone on charging for about 12h and when i came back the iphone was really hot and i could hear the speaker when i plugged my iphone in and out but the screen was blue like the starting screen but without the apple logo and i cant fix it. i tryed to restore it and reboot it ovar and ovar again but nothing worked.      ! english may be bad !

Help with my iphone 5.

So today I want to restore my iphone 5 to 6.0. I have tried to do so by getting the firmware of the correct form, (my make of my phone, model number, etc) and for some reason it won't restore. I've tried 2 different ones, 6.0 and 6.1 and to no avail. On iTunes it keeps coming up with 'Error 3194' I have researched into this and I have done as instructed on the official Apple error code help page, but still, it doesn't work, can anyone help? What can I iphone 4

I am stuck with a problem. I dropped my iphone 4 (already had a shattered screen on this moment) accidentaly from 10cm (4 inches) on the rug. To my surprise I suddenly saw vertical lines and on a seperate part a color with a gradient which actually changes all the time, cool enough. My question is if I can do anything hardware or software related with this device to repair it without buying a new screen. I tried to restore, put in DFU this device but without results. I have been having trouble with my iphone - sudden decrease in battery life, apps not working, Wifi not working, iCloud not working (don't ask me why, but when I go to Settings>iCloud>Storage and back up, the toggle is off and greyed out, giving me no option to turn it on). I was advised to back the iphone up on my mac, reset the iphone to factory settings and then restore it from the Mac.  So, all my apps have come over, but none of my contacts, SMS's, nothing. I can probably live without the SMS's but it will take me a long time to re-enter all my contacts.  However, they are all still in the Mac.  But I can't work out how to get the Mac to send the addresses back to the iphone.   As previously stated, the iCloud doesn't work, so I can't use that.  I looked through previous entries and the advice was: Open iTunes. Connect the iphone. Select it under the Devices heading in the iTunes sidebar. Click on the Info tab in the main window. Check the Contacts box then sync. However, when I do this it say in contacts "your contacts are being synched with your iphone over the air, over-the-air sync settings can be changed on the iphone" But I don't want them synched over the air, because over the air (I assume this is iCloud) isn't working.  How do I set it (either iTunes or the iphone) so that it synches, via USB cable, with the contacts on my Mac? I am totally, utterly confused and a bit cross as I am now worse off then before I reset the phone and was told that it would just back up from the computer.  And even more annoyed when I know the data I want is all still there (on the Mac in address book), I just can't drag it across.

My power button on my phone stopped working so before I went to the apple store today I backed up my phone to the computer (itunes) instead of icloud. Now I have my new phone plugged in and I hit restore from computer. It restored all of my texts, pictures, contacts, voicemails etc. Most of my apps restored except for like 10 recent ones which were all PAID for apps. Then a message popped up saying not enough icloud storage to finish restoring. I'm not even using icloud so what is the problem?? I also checked all my apps on itunes, none of the apps that dissapeared are on there either
