 Hello! I live in Russia and love Apple very much, have many different products and never had any problems with them. And now I decided to buy a new Iphone 5 and wasn't lucky. I bought it on 3.05.2013 in normal shop, then turned out that wi-fi and bluetooth are not working and the phone eats battery very fast. Shop doesn't want take it back, official services don't want to repair it for free, because it was made for USA. I really don't know what to do:( To buy android? i bought iphone 5 in new york.  i live in south africa. i cannot hear caller on the other side of the call. no-one wants to repair my phone because its an "international" phone. Where do i send the phone to in new york to try and get the phone working again?

iPhone 5 home button

A family member and I swapped iPhone 5's a few days ago, and even before we switched I noticed that their home button was creaking when you applied some pressure to it. Not necessarily pressing down on it to wake up the screen or anything like that. Also, when i do fully press down on it, it feels inconsistent and makes those creaking noises. The phone was purchased in January so it's well within the standard 1 year warranty. Is this a problem any of you have experienced? I would like to know if this is worth going to the apple store for or just learning to live with. Thank you!

HELP S card not compatible after being in Apple store iPhone 5

I went to an Apple store with my 3gs as i have a few problems the girl restored my phone back to factory settings.  When i came home i conected my phone to itunes it says  only compatible sim cards from a supported carrier may be used to activate iphone.  please insert the sim card that came with your iphone or visit a supported carriers store to receive a replacement sim card. my sim card is inserted so has the girl that works at the apple store broke my phone.  can someone please help as i live quite a bit away from an apple store. Ashley

iPhone 4S-Serial Number of replaced product

Hello everyone! I've got a problem with my iPhone 4S and I hope someone here can give me a hint on how to fix this... Last year in March I was on vacation in Las Vegas (I live in Austria/Europe) and bought a new unlocked iPhone 4S GSM in the Apple Store in the Forum Shops in Las Vegas including AppleCare+ (I just learned that iPhones can only be serviced in the Country where they are bought - my bad). Lately I was browsing through my Apple support profile and noticed that my iPhone was not registered there. So I tried to enter the serial number of the device and got this message:We're sorry, but this is a serial number for a product that has been replaced. Please check your information and re-enter your serial number. If your information is correct, you may need to contact us. I knew this could not be true so I called Apple Care here in Austria and first I was told that - according to its serial number - my iPhone has been replaced, and that it never should have been sold. I also was told that I have no chance of getting any service for this device despite the Care Protection Plan because the device is invalid due to its status as "replaced". And last but not least I was told that I could never receive any service for this device because American devices cannot be repaired in Europe (I was not aware of this fact and would have expected the salesperson in the Apple Store to tell me because I definitely told him that I am from Austria). Meanwhile I wrote an email to the store where I bought the iPhone from but it's two days now and I have not received an answer (or any indication that my email was received) yet. Is there anything I can do? Yours,Michael

I have tried to download ios 6.1.3 on both my iphone and through my laptop, the 'download and install' option on the software update area is greyed out and not 'live' when i tap. when i try to upgrade and install on my laptop it says 3 hours remaining to instal, why?.

iTunes store Stuck in wrong country iPhone 3G

I'm using my iPhone 5 and can't update any apps or buy music from ITunes because I get an error code telling me that the items I'm requesting are not available in the South African store.   I live in Canada.  ????? My computer itunes store is correct.   i've connected /updated my phone thru my computer and tried to reset my store but my computer account is fine.  The problem is exclusive to my phone.  Does anyone have suggestions to fix this?

Can't tern on my new Iphone 5

I've my iPhone 5 since February 2013.  One day I turned it off and since then I cannot turn it on, I've tried to pushed both the off/on button on the top and the round button on the front at the same time for about 15 seconds  - it's didn't help. I can't turn it on. The solution with  iTunes didn't help as well.  The Iphone is dead.I bought the IPhone in USA at Apple store in the Internet. I live in Israel. What can I do? I understood that in Israel there is no support or service for iphones that didn't bought in Israel.Can I send it with DHL to USA and Apple will fix it or replace it to a working one? It's new and has warranty.  Please your help.

Can't hear just one person through my iPhone 4

Okay, so lets see if this works. So I've had my iphone 4 for about a year and a half, I've never really had issues beside the normal glitching and having calls drop here and there. Recently I've had an issue with my iphone connecting with just one individual. Yes, I know it sounds weird but keep reading. I have been able to make calls and recieve phone calls fine, however I cannot with just one single individual. They to also only have the same problem with me, however the only difference is they can hear me but I cant hear them or anything. We're able to text and send picture messages without any issues. Now sometimes when I try to call them, itll ring twice and then the line just goes dead, but thats usually them picking it up. I cannnot hear them at all. I've already done the reset on my phone and I've already contacted apple about this issue and their about as lost as I am because it doesnt make sense that this is only happening with one individual. I've also blew out the speakers and such like people have suggested. I use my head phones that came with my speaker, and ive connected and reconnected them incase my iphone thought they were plugged in.  Let me give you a little bit more info. They have an android phone, we have the same carrier which is verizon and they live in another state (not sure if thats helpful). I'm completely lost because this has been going on for about 4 days now and its driving me crazy. This happened a few weeks ago, however it magically fixed its self ( im thinking it was because I had bad service). If anyone has any solutions that might help, please, please let me know.

Iphone 4s Yellow mark

Hi Guys, I have an Iphone 4s and a yellow mark appears on my screen whereas my warrantly is expire since February. I go to a Genius Bar and the refuse to take care of my problem. As I saw on Internet it's a latent defect (glue problem) but Apple refuse to recognize it. I live in France and the European Union rules said that warrantly should be ended 2 years after the purchase date for latent defect. I'm very disapointed, Iphone was pretty expensive and they refuse to recognize their problem. Do you know how can I force Apple to solved my problem ?Thanks for your help,Regards

Hairline gap on top bottom and right side between steel band and plastic iPhone 4

i purchased iPhone 4 , 5 days ago and i notice slight gap (as shown in pics).I could easily insert piece of paper inside the gaps..this gap is at top, bottom and on right side (near SIM tray) . should i be worried? will Apple service centre replace it with a new one OR REFURBISHED ONE ? . apple have country specific warranty iPhone 4S

I live in India and i bought an iphone 4s from New York Apple store. The volume buttons of phone are damaged so in India they say warranty is not valid in india.

Volume bar disappeared iPhone 4S

My volume bar disappears when I remove the headphone jack from it, making it unable for me to play music/videos without my headphones. I have cleaned out the proper places and I have even reset my phone (I did not hard reset it, I only reset all of its settings). I don't know how else I am supposed to fix this problem unless I have to go to an Apple store... which I hope isn't the case as I live about three hours away from the closet one.

Sprint Iphone 5 Trouble

Anyone else having trouble with iPhone 5 on Sprint Network?...I live in NC and regularly have little or no 3G service, when I am connected to 3G it is very very slow. I have contacted Sprint and done all of there trouble shooting, contacted Apple and nothing works. I have friends with Verizon and At&t with no issues, I believe there must be some type of software glitch between Apple and Sprint...very frustrating.

Faced issues with iPhone 5

Hi,  I bought my iPhone 5 from Germany just after the launch.However I live in Turkey and I didn't have chance to try my iPhone before I got back to Turkey.After I turned back to my country I have noticed that there are several dust on camera sensor as you can see below pictures. In additon after a while the lock/power button stop working as well. Apple claims that Apple products have 1 year international warranty but this doesn't work in Turkey. Nobady gets responsibility of any Apple product if the customer buys it from any foreign country.  I don't wanna go to Germany just to visit an Apple store to solve my problem and I couldn't find any email address to contact with email.I am a loyal customer and I almost have all Apple products.  Could please check and advice a solution to solve my problem ?  Best Regards, Tayfun Tarı.

Waterproof please iPhone 5

So the new iphone 5s will supposedly have a faster speed, better camera, better flash etc etc. I have a question. Would you please make it somewhat waterproof, even without a case. I live in the northwest, Oregon, and it rains here 9 months of the year. I can't even make a phone call outside without the fear of my phone dying. I recently took a hike to the mountain, it wasn't raining but it was damp and drizzed a little. I took a bunch of photos, came home and within an hour, the main home button had quit. I took it into Apple and they said it had moisture damage. No coverage. I live in Oregon ! This seems to be a major flaw that needs to be fixed. Anyone else out there like to see this as a main feature of the 5S ?

What happening to my iPhone 5

Hello everyone. I live in Colombia and my phone service is Claro. On November, I got the iPhone 5 and I had 1 year of warranty for it. Last week, I dropped my iphone into this bowl of water by accident but I took it instantly and when I looked at it, the phone was still on so I used a towel and dried it. I didn't know if I could press any buttons because maybe it'd make it worse so I didn't press any buttons. However, few minutes after that, the whole screened turned negative so my sister suggested to put it on dry rice. I left it there for several hours. When I took it back, I connected it to the charger and it turned on and everything was working perfectly except the signal, it kept saying "Searching.." so I tried turning it off and reseting the iPhone but it didn't work. After a few hours, it died. I connected it again to the charger and the Apple sign appreared but it was gone after a little while and it didn't turn on.  I took it to my phone service support and they checked it and since there was water involved, they told me they couldn't fix it because it was out of the warranty. Then I went to an Apple Store but they told me they didn't fix iPhones so I came home and I connected it to my Macbook Pro and it turned on with the sign of connecting to iTunes so I did and a pop up came up saying it was in Recovery Mode and that I had to restore it so I did even if everything will get deleted and right now it's currently "iPhone is currently downloading software for iPhone" so what exactly is happening to my iPhone 5? Is it dead forever? Can it still live? What should I do so it lives? I'm so sad and worried, haha. Help me out, please and thank you!

iphone 5 won't retain charge.

Has anyone else experienced this and how do I fix it? It's only a week old but I don't live near any genious bar so bringing it in isn't an option. I've tried charging it from my computer and wall but even though it turns on and says its fully charged as soon as I unplug it it turns off and the symbol of no battery shows up. All updates are installed so I really don't know what else to do..

Stuck in wrong country app store Help iPhone 3G

So here is what happened.. I live in Canada and my app store is obviously registered to the Canada App Store and today I was in my app store and I tried to download an app but a pop up came up saying you have to be in the US App Store to download. And the only option for me to press was "okay". My phone then kinda delayed an froze.. So I turned it off and back on. Went back in my App store and I saw an App that I wanted and when I tried to install it says " Your account is not valid for use in the U.S. Store. You must switch to the Canadian store before purchasing." I have no idea how to do that! I looked around and saw no where to click "okay" again to switch.. Please help me! Thank you!

Changing Itunes store problems iPhone 3G

I live in Japan but have been using the U.S. Itunes store since I got my Iphone 4.  For some reason, a few days ago the Itunes store on my Iphone was switched to the Japan Store.  When I try to switch back to U.S. store, the Apple ID button on all my apps (Itunes, Podcasts, App Store, etc.) is grayed out and won't function. As far as I know my phone hasn't been hacked or "locked out" because I can log into Itunes Store going through Itunes on my laptop.  Any ideas on what's going on?   Simply put, I need a way to change from Itunes Store Japan to Itunes Store U.S. thanks

i live in Israel and my friend bought me a new iphone5 a mounth ago in apple store that is located in Vegas.i have a problem  with my i phone: it is shutting down all the time. i tried to restore the IOS software a few times but it does'nt help, its seems like electricity problem because the screen is fading out and then shutting down.i tried all options that apple suggest in the support section and it didn't help me to resolve the problem ( like i said i guess its a hardware problem).as i know i do have a coverage for my  iphone so i want to sent it to  the US for fixing it.  where do i need to send it for ? also i didn't save the receipt.  could it be a problem? please help
