Malfunctioning speaker and manufacturer warranty iPhone 5

Hello there, I live in Israel, the iPhone bought in the United States.device Model: A1428 iPhone 5Two days ago, internal speaker suddenly stopped working. I can not hear music or hear ringing through it.when I turned to my carrier, in order that they will help me replace the malfunctioning speaker (device is still under the one year manufacturer's warranty) they told me that since this model is not sold in Israel, they can not fix it for me, and because we don't have an apple-store in Israel, I can't do nothing  I'd be happy if you could advise me what to do ( I want to use the manufacturer warranty that I deserve)  Thanks for the help Itay.s

Why are my notification on my iphone 5 so horrible

My iphone 5 has always been horrible in receiving any notification. I get no notification from any application or even the stock application. This is frustrating when I need these notification for my user experience. This mainly has to do with notification coming on my lock-screen. Facebook, instragram, and many other application gives no notification on my lockscreen and no sound to indicate any news. This is a problem that I've experience for a long time and its very bothering to see no notification pop up or sound. I've used to really enjoy apple before this issue. I used to believe it was just software issues but after the many updates, nothing was done to change this problem. At this point I am not satisfied with the product and how it performs.

Hi guys i got my iPhone 5 about 2 week after launch and about 3 weeks later i lost all sound clicks from text's, game apps, YouTube wouldn't play any videos and it worked perfectly fine when i went to bed wake up in the morning to this.  I rebooted the phone and this resolved the issue, the phone was not in silent mode via settings or via the slider at the top of the phone.  the phone would be working fine for about 3 weeks then this would happen again same issues as above this went on till about the 14th December and Apple decided to change my phone now its happening again.  I am at a lose end does anybody know a fix or heard of this before as i am sure this problem could not happen too 2 different phones ?  Thanks

warranty after fall iPhone 5

Dear All, I dropped my iphone a few months back and ever since it's been in a support case (I bought it 1 day after dropping the iPhone 5 to the floor... how cruel can life be). I'm not worried about the dent in the upper right corner (power button). I'm more concerned about sound it makes when you shake it (it had this since day 4 already)... + the fact that the power button is not working anymore (even that I can overcome if needed).Nevertheless I'm worried about the warranty. I live in Europe (Belgium) and have to say that I'm completely disappointed in the service of the store where I bought my phone (an official apple reseller but not an apple store). With that said I rather know my options in terms of warranty other than asking it in the shop (cause they'll argue anyway). It's an official iPhone, done nothing fishy with it (only shouldn't have dropped it )

Can I trade in my 4s with Apple Care

Lately I've been having probelms with my iPhone 4s. I bought it in July of last year. The problems include: my lock button is jambed, the phone thinks that I have headphones in when I don't, and applications such as Camera and Safari constantly crash. The screen also does not always respond when I touch it and it does not ring or vibrate when I recieve calls sometimes (I did check to see if my ringer was on, along with vibrating in Sounds under Settings). I have Apple Care+. Can I trade it in for a refurbished phone? Also, for an extra fee would I be able to trade it in for a refurbished iPhone 5?

The phone, however still indicates "iphone is disabled, connect to itunes", and it now wants to follow the restore process again. Can I enable the phone without restoring the phone for a second time?

iPhone 5 battery phone suddelny switches of at 15

Hi people, I have an iPhone 5 64 GB and of course all the newest software. In the recent days, it happened twice to me that the phone would suddenly switch of at around 13-15% battery! when I try to turn it on immedietaley, i will get the "empty battery"-symbol. However, after waiting for some 20-30 minutes, when i turn it on again, it will just work and display.a battery of around 13-15% again. Very strange. Never had this behaviour at iPhone 4 or 4s Any ideas? thanks

Last night the screen of my phone 4 slowly went black. I tried charging it while hard resetting it but that did not help. also tried just resetting it but nothing with that either. I tried to chat with Itunes but couldn't becasue I cannot get the serial number. I do not have an sd tray nor can I use the screen. It is not printed on the back of the device not is it connecting to Itunes so I can get it from there.

Iphone 5 won't record sound during video capture

Hi there. My iPhone 5 has been working perfectly for about 5 months then about a month ago I noticed that my camera was just recording a hissing sound (nothing else) during video capture. Voice memos record and play perfectly and everything else works as it should The strange thing is that if I insert my earphones then the camera will record sound even from far away but when I take them out again it just records a hissing sound. I've tried plugging the earphones in and out, hard reset, and restoring but I still have the same issue.surely the voice memo and camera use the same microphone? The only thing that seems to be wrong is that the phone camera records no sound without earphones plugged in Please somebody tell me there's an easy fix as we have no apple stores here so I would need to ship it off to be repaired if the need be.

Why it other party during facetime won't hear me after few minutes of talking iPhone 5

iPhone 5 won't wake up from sleepstandby

Hello, I am having a really strange problem with my iphone 5 for last 3-4 months. Sometime when i want to use my iphone from standby/sleep mode it dosent do anything! sleep/wake button, home button even silent/sound button dosent work. I know the silent/sound button dosen't work cause normally it vibrate when I turn it on. So the problem is my phone wont wake up from sleep/standby mode. The screen stays black and nothing works. If i press the home button and power button for 10-15 time very quickly, then it takes a screen shot and wakes up!! Sometime it stays in this stage for 5-10min. So here is what i did to solve the problem.1. I restore the phone from phone and ituens.2. I delete all icloud backup and started as a new phone3. I went to apple store and replace the phone with a new one!!4. I jailbreak it at last to see if it solve the problem!5. turn off the icloud to see if it works And sadly nothing of all this solved my problem! Now im not sure any specific app causing the problem but it almost impossible to find it out. So if anyone have any similar problem or any suggestion to solve it, then it will be really helpful.

Iphone 5 loudspeaker micsirivoice to text not picking up sound.

Hi, I am new to this forum so i apologise in advance for not following any rules thats set. I have a Iphone 5, 16 GB for 6 months and for the past month or so i've been having issues with the microphone.     1. During a call if i want to use loudspeaker the mic cuts out so the person on the other end can not hear what i am saying, yet while during a call off loudspeaker          they can hear me fine.     2. Siri can not detect anything i say or any noise what so ever when i try to use siri, but can when using a headset.     3. when trying to use voice to text in messages no speech is detected. when using a headset under all three of these, they work fine, calling someone works fine aslong as i don't use loudspeaker.i have tried to restore the phone to see if this corrects the problems but no luck. The firmware version is 6.1.4, on EE 4G. Any help with this is appriciated. Tyler.

Having Paid about £20 for an official unlocking, I am being told to insert a Non-Orange 3G Sim card into the phone that is to be unlocked (Orange is the network the iPhone iscurrently locked to).  Well I don't have a Non-Orange 3G Sim Card do I !! organize apps in itunes iPhone 3G

when I sync my iphone 4s or my ipad in itunes with the lates upgrade in itunes I don't see how I can organize my apps, to move them from one screen to the other.  I've looked all over itunes as the device is syncing and I see nothing, use to be on the right side and you could drag from one area to the other.  Anyone know?

Backup Issues Deleting Other Files iPhone 4S

I recently replaced my iphone screen and afterwards I discovered that my camera roll had crashed. With it, I lost all of my pictures and videos. Luckily, I recovered them from a program that I had downloaded. However, the storage that used to take up my photos and videos on my phone had transfered to the "other" section on itunes. Is the only way to remove/decrease the storage of the "other" file by restoring your iphone? I don't want to restore my iphone because I am also having issues with backing up my phone. Whenever I try to back it up on itunes, it says "the backup was corrupt or not compatable with the iphone". My phone has never been backed up because of this issue, so if I were to restore my phone then all off my files would be deleted. I have tried reseting my phone, but the "other" section is unchanged. Is there anyway I can delete the corrupt files on my phone? I have tried removing all pictures, videos, apps, and music in an attempt to discover the source of the corrupt files but I haven't found them. Also, if I was to "restore backup" with my iphone from my ipad, would that mean losing my messages? 

Water under iphone 4s screen iPhone 5

My iphone was completely submerged in water last night. I put it in rice. Everything seems to work properly. But there is what appears to be water under the iphone screen. In the very middle of the water, it is blue. What does thar mean? Will it go away? Can I help make it go away? Will my Apple insurance plan cover this? Please help!!

Dropped iPhone 4 in to toilet but hear me out

I dropped my phone into the toilet. I got it out as quickly as possible, but it did get submerged. when I got it out, the screen turned on by itself, but I didn't think much of it, and I stuck it in rice for a few hours. when I went to check on it, it seemed fine, as the screen turned on and all the buttons seemed to be working, other than being slightly laggy. The volume buttons worked, but the didn't seem to do anything to the volume. The speakers worked as well, and even the vibrating part did. the lagging didn't get any better though, so I decided to see if reseting it would work. It turned off fine, and the apple symbol came up, but that was where it stopped, and it now will not turn on. I checked the LCI in the headphone jack and the charging slot, and the one in the headphone jack has a tiny pinkish-red dot, and the one in the charging slot doesn't look red at all. I stuck it back into the rice just in case. Can anybody help with my situation?Just some info, up until I put my phone into the rice the first time, I was mostly in full panic mode, and even after I put it in the rice, I kept checking to see if it worked by pressing the sleep button. I'm pretty sure I did everything I'm not supposed to do, but what can I say?

What can I with my broken Iphone mic

I purchased my Iphone 4 while living in Hong Kong. I am now back in the UK and the phone has deveoped a problem where the mic cuts out during calls and the person I'm on the phone to can't hear me. I took the phone to the apple shop here and the girl told me that she would have given me a replacement but she can't because the phone is slightly different than the UK (european) model of the Iphone 4. She then told me to call apple care and explain to them over the phone.  I called apple care and an american woman said she can't give me support unless I pay £25 but will email me instructions on reseting the phone, I told her reseting won't make a difference as the mic problem is a common one with Iphone 4's and I've read it's a hardware problem. So anyways I reset my phone and nothing changed. I'm stuck in limbo right now and dunno what to do, does anyone have any suggestions? I think I'll get a galaxy when my contract is up this year.

Crashing and screen flickering problems. iPhone 4

I too have had the "flickering/flashing" screen problem...I received my first iPhone 4 on release day (6/24); had no display.issues until 3 days later, on 6/27. First occurred while on call in car; phone continued to work but display.was black; had to do the two-button "hard restart" method to reboot phone. I was away on vacation for a week (not near an Apple Store), and phone continued to have this issue at least once/day. It could be on any screen or app...had it occur on calendar, a game, the home screen, etc. It would begin flashing ~8 times, then go to a "lit up black" (not off but slightly and evenly lit up black). Sometimes it would be 75% black, w/ a whiter "band" across the top 25% of the display.I discovered that sometimes if I quickly hit the button on top while it was still flashing, I could "save it."I have videoed this (using my 3GS phone...now my wife's) a few times, and it also did it at the Genius Bar at my local Apple Store last Friday (7/9) when I returned it. They saw it in-person, and watched one of my videos, and promptly gave me a replacement phone.However, the NEXT day, 7/10, my replacement iPhone 4 has started to do a similar thing...no "flashing/flickering", just goes to the "lighter black" screen. First occurred when trying to open the calendar. I contacted Tech support and spoke to someone at Apple for ~1 hour, who said there have been NO reported display.issues from others, and thought it perhaps was due to a corrupt "Restore from backup" file. She suggested that I do a regular restore (not from backup), but I have hesitated to do so yet, instead looking/waiting to see if others have had this issue, as I don't want to lose contact, texting & calendar info.She also said it was not good to perform the "hard restart" (two button) function very much... I eventually have tried the "slide to power off" across the top of the black screen, and phone turned off and could restart with just the single (upper) button. So the phone is ON...just display.isn't...I am an AVID iPhone user (have had the 2G, 3GS and now 4 model) for 2 1/2 years, and this won't make me "switch"...I just want it FIXED..!

Well today i was running track and my iphone was in my bag but the rain wasnt really heavy but all my stuff still got wet and everything still works butthe sound is a little weird not much but when i play songs it dosent sound right. Please someone help

iPhone 5 Rear Microphone

Hello, There appears to be an issue with my iPhone 5's rear camera microphone. when recording video it causes white noise and I can barely hear any audio at all. To diagnose the fault I phoned myself and put music on. I could hear the music fine without loudspeaker, I then switched on loudspeaker while the screen was facing upwards (to test the front facing mic) and it was fine, once I turned the phone upside down, the audio cut out. To ensure that my desk wasn't just blocking my front facing mic, I switched loudspeaker off and then turned it back to face up, then again to face down and then switched loudspeaker back on. Unfortunately it confirmed that was the fault. I have recorded voice memos and front facing videos with no issue, but when using the rear camera I still have the same fault. I have cleaned out the small opening for the mic and haven't caused my phone any damage, so I can't understand why this would happen? Has anyone else had this issue? Will I have to have my entire phone replaced, the whole rear camera or just the microphone? Are there any fixes I can perform myself? Thanks,Ross

ringer not working iPhone 4S

when a call or text is coming throug there is no sound. The settings seem fine. when I switch the side button to red nothing happens. What used to happen would be the bell sign would come up with a line through it indicating the ringer was switched off but now nothing happens whichever way I switch it. Vibrate is switched on in settings but it isn't vibrating either. Interestingly the alarm is working so the sounds are not completely gone.  I have powered it off an back on etc., but it hasn't made any difference. Any advice. Thanks Paula

Dear sir I am Apple supporter since 3G. And currently I am holding iPhone 5 for less than 6 months. Recently I found that when I shake the phone, i can hear there are particle inside my phone. I went to Digi (mobile service provider).  They can replace me a re-conditioned unit which I think it is not right. It will be an repaired item which is not mine.  I would like to seek for your advise

iPhone 4s Wifi problem, after using the device of 7 month. wifi is not working. BEFORE WAS WORKING FINE and now wifi is not able to identify. I tried all the possibilities to fix the wifi, such as resetting network, restart the phone, restore from iTune and setup as new phone, but the problem remain same. turning on the wifi can't recognise any network. any other idiea to fix the wifi of iPhone. Problem in restoring my iPhone 4

HI... I tried to restore and update my phone software, itunes downloaded the software and it automatically updated the phone's it. Now during the initial configuration of the phone, it says that the software cannot be registered at the moment and tells me to contact the customer care. My phone is not even starting up now. I brought an iphone 5 as soon as they come out, realised yestoday  when I took it out the case to clean it that it's bent near the volume  buttons!!I rang local apple store and booked in to see a genius about this, just wondering if anybody else has had the same problem.. volume lower than ipod iPhone 5

iPhone 5 not ringing or alerting of texts calls going to voice mail

My iPhone 5 recently started having problems with the ringer.  The ringer will be turned all the way up, the mute button is NOT being used and the phone will not ring for calls or alert for texts.  It is not always happening, but more so than not.  I have tried rebooting the phone, the OIS is up to date and I do not have the "Do Not Disturb" set.  I can be in the same spot with LTE and full signal have a call/text that is missed then receive a call/text and it rings.  Does not seem to matter if the call is coming from a land line, same Verizon carrier cell or different carrier cell there is no noticable reason.  Any ideas???
