Last night the screen of my phone 4 slowly went black. I tried charging it while hard resetting it but that did not help. also tried just resetting it but nothing with that either. I tried to chat with Itunes but couldn't becasue I cannot get the serial number. I do not have an sd tray nor can I use the screen. It is not printed on the back of the device not is it connecting to Itunes so I can get it from there.

I close all the apps in the multitasking bar, turn the brightness down to 50%, turn the weather and stocks widget off, set the nonifications I want to reminde me, and I also, turn off WiFi and 3G when not using it but my BATTERY STILL GOES TO QUICKLY! My iphone tunred off and it won't turn back on. I have tried charging it, I have tried holding both buttons for 5 minutes at a time. It still does nothing. I've tried going to chat with apple service but i need to turn on the phone to see my serial number to get to that. I'm stuck can anyone help?

iPhone 5 Touchscreen problem occur randomly x every day totally no reaction.

My iPhone5 has touchscreen problem, it's started around 2 weeks ago, tortured me, even I can't use it now. Every day, around 7:00-10:00am (sometime it occurred at noon), the touchscreen totallly no reaction, even can't unlock it. I know that its most likely a hardward issue as stated in the forum. Now here is the problem.  I bought the iphone from a local (philippines) online reseller http://lazada.com.ph.  Lazada would only give the the apple 1-800-1441-0234 number and will not accept any repairs and service.  I would never purchase anything from lazada specially electronics because of how they handled my case. Absolutely no support and repair /service channels for iphones bought from them.  As per lazadas advice, I called the 1800 number and was again adviced to call the local carriers.  I was adviced by the apple chat support to contact my local carriers. Local carriers like smart and globe would only accept repairs and service for iphones bought from them. I visited several local apple reseller stores and they decline to render service because the unit was not bought from them. I cant seem to get technical support and have the iphone checked by an authorized service center. What and where is the proper channel for me to get support and have the unit repaired or replaced? Thank you in advance.

New Facebook Update Not Working iPhone 4

A few weeks ago I updated to the new fb chat head feature on my iPhone 4 and it worked perfectly. However, the next day I got another update for the sticker feature, but after updating to this addition neither features appeared. The new fb was present, but my chat head feature was no longer there and no stickers either! Facebook chat just appeared like it did before I updated any of it, but the other aspects (e.g. news feed, etc.) are updated. Does anyone know how this happened and what can I do to fix it?

I just started to get a SIM Failure Pop up on my iphone 5on Thursday while traveling and using Maps fornavigation. Battery drain iPhone 4S

Bought my 4s this past Sunday.  That evening I downloaded 6.1.2 via wifi.  Then experienced rapid battery drain (went from 100% to dead in about 5 hours.)  Contacted Apple thru chat and was advised to download the update via computer.  Did this last night.  The battery is better, but today, after no use (no phone calls, no texts, no emails, nothing) it's down to 50%, over about 12 hours.  This doesn't seem normal. Any suggestions?

About a year ago, before I had an iPhone, my friend abroad got an iPhone and needed an apple ID. Since I already had one from my macbook, I let her use mine. Vodafone Italy 4G will work ONLY with iOS 6.1 update iPhone 5

Soooooo, after driving myself crazy with Vodafone italy and their 4G network, i finally have answers that i'd like to share. 1) you must "activate" 4G service, either online (through "190y" on their site) or directly from them (the store, or what i did, they have a live chat feature on their site). 2) you have to wait to receive a text msg saying it has been activated. 3) wait until iOS 6.1 is released (end of the month).  I have a factory unlocked iPhone 5 that i bought in italy and have traveled to the states with recently. as soon as i landed i had 4G service, without any modifications or updates or doing anything. i told voda all of this, and after 3 days, i got some answers. after doing some research, basically the new update with allow the 5 to use vodafones frequency. bam. there you have it. no 4G until the update. oh, and you have to pay 10 euro a month extra for it. thanks vodafone :-/

After syncing my iPhone contacts to my Windows Contacts, my contacts from my computer were placed on my iPhone under a group named From PC.  How do I remove this group and also how to I get my iPhone contacts organized according to new groups of my preference?

Hi I am in search of a chat app/IM App that would work with iOS 4.2.1 for iPhone 3G. Something like WhatsApp or the various IM apps such as Talk, Nimbuzz, IMO etc. The issue I have is that most of these apps now only work on 4.3 or higher, and the iPhone 3G cannot be updated to 4.3. I have tried using Talk Lite with gtalk but it needs some fiddling with the google account before it works and does not have push notification. Can anyone suggest any good IM app for 4.2.1 that has push notifications, I don't mind what the service is gtalk, windows messenger/live, jabber, whatever Many thanks

4s failed wifi greyed out

Ok, so I just got off the chat session with US support regarding the ios 6.0.2 update that seemingly fixes the wifi issues.  But, there is aparently no plan to release the patch on any other device so when my dodgy wifi connectivity on my 4s totally dropped out today and now no longer allows me to enable wifi, It has to go back to the shop.   Yeah, replace the hardware for a software problem...  No guarentees that the problem won't happen again...  maybe it's time to ditch the 4s for a samsung....

About a month ago I noticed an almost inaudible, inconsistent "pop" when I touched or dragged a finger across the left-center portion of my iPhone 5's screen. Its getting gradually worse to where it is now detectable almost every time I tap anywhere in the left side of the screen. It's almost as if the screen itself is somehow coming loose (if I hold the phone tightly on either side, the popping is significantly diminished, which makes me think... increased friction prevents slippage of the screen, which means no popping sound). Anybody else have this problem? I just scheduled a genius bar appointment to hopefully bring the issue to their attention. That, and to chat with them about my abysmal battery life.

Problem with restoring from iphone 4

I just got new iPhone 5 and when I wanted restore my apps from my old iPhone 4.  First it won't restore saying the back is corrupt or my software was non compatible. I kept trying making new backup from my old phone and restoring and I it finaly restored few groups and apps. I don't want lose my old group which took me a long time to setup. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Facetime is great. However, it is a bit cumbersome to initiate a Facetime chat. I have come up with only 2 ways of getting one going:Option 1) Go to the Phone app -> Call their iPhone 4 from the speed dial list -> after they answer, then I click on the Facetime icon.Option 2) Go the the Phone app -> go to the contacts list -> search for the persons contact information and select it -> click "Facetime" -> then select their iPhone 4 phone number.What I would like to know, is there a way that a "Facetime" call or chat can be called directly from the speed-dial list, or some other way without all the steps that I just listed?

Some albums missing under Artists tab on iPhone 4S 64GB

I have a syncing issue with my iPhone 4S 64 GB (Sprint network). I am trying to have all albums by any artist appear under the "Artists" tab in the Music app on my iPhone. For example I'm trying to sync all of my Led Zeppelin albums to my iPhone. I have many albums by Led Zeppelin: Led Zeppelin 1-4, Physical Graffiti Discs 1 and 2, BBC Sessions Discs 1 and 2, Houses of the Holy, In Through The Out Door and one song (Bonzo's Montreux) on the Coda album; 91 songs in all. The problem is is that all albums and 91 songs appear when I tap "Albums" or "Songs" in the Music app. However, when I tap "Artists" I observe that BBC Sessions Disc 1 and Physical Graffiti Disc 1 are both missing. In iTunes I've tried right-clicking on all 14 songs from the BBC Sessions Disc 1 or all 6 songs on Physical Graffiti Disc 1 album and I clicked "No" on the field that says "Part of a compilation" under the Multiple Item Information --> Options menu. After resyncing with my iPhone 4S neither album was copied into the "Artist" tab. It would be great to have all albums by a specific artist appear under the "Artists" tab in the Music app because this is the easiest way to find all of the artist's albums. I can't figure out why iTunes groups some songs and albums under "Compilations". By doing this certain albums are hidden from the "Artists" tab and placed in the "Compilation" tab. Is there an easy way to fix this problem? From reading others' posts it seems like this is a common iTunes/iPhone problem. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Carl Cygan

With the new iOS 6 Facebook features my contacts now include everything from iCloud and from Facebook. I love it and appreciate that it links duplicate contacts between the two groups. However, the phone numbers do not register as the same. All of the contacts imported from Facebook have a "+1" in front of them, and my contacts from iCloud do not. How can I correct this issue? What is the "+1" even for?

In other words, will Apple "run out" of pre-order phones? I want to buy one but people have been saying this is going to be "one of the biggest iPhone releases to date". iPhone 3GS Audio Volume Decrease After iOS 5 Update

The Audio/Volume on my iPhone 3GS has Decrease SIGNIFICANTLY After iOS 5 Update.  Oddly, the volume of the ring is fine, and as lout as it used to be, and as loud as all other audio should be, but when using any 3rd party applications, the volume output is significantly less (about 40% less) than it used to be. I am NOT the only person to experience this problem.  Apparently, the issue has been around since this past summer, when iOS was still being developed / tested.  There is a post about someone experiencing the same issue, here: http://modmyi.com/forums/general-iphone-chat/768919-ios-5-low-volume.html And before you ask .. sometimes when I m using iMessage with my friend who also has iMessage turned on message sends as text why this iPhone

Does anyone know why sometimes my iMessage sends as text rather than as iMessage ? I use iMessage to chat with my friend in Italy from England. We both keep out settings for iMessage turned on but during our chats occassionally my message turns green and sends as text. This then cost me money because it's an international text. The send button remains blue the whole time I'm writing the message and is blue when I send the message and it stays blue even though the message delievred as a text message. The send button remains blue after the text has sent. Can anyone tell me how to stop this happening ? Thanks

Group messaging is not working on a brand new iOS 5.1.1 iPhone 4S for AT&T The following options are on under settings > messages : iMessage Send as mms Group messaging Mms messaging   Additionally, a new sim card is being used. Friends can receive and send group messages within the chat. I can also send messages in the chat and they will see the message but I can't see anything they send.  I am switching from a 3GS that had sim card issues so I have a new sim card in this phone.   Any advice as to what is going on?
