I think my phone hacked iphone 4S

Someone tried to access my online account the first day I got my phones. The carrier texted me. I rcvd snail mail that they tried to access it again and were given a temp password. I have blocked all access to my online account- I can't even access it.  My phone is now burning hot, and under Diagnostics and usage, the dates are out of order and they look suspicious- I see words like  apple user ID, daemon,etc.Please help! My ex keeps getting in all my info, accounts, emails.. Why are no apple stores in South West Sydney iphone 5

I have a brand new iphone 5 which cannot access the server without WiFi, I have restored the phone and network settings even replaced the nano sim but the Optus Store states that I now need to replace the phone at an apple store but the nearest store is an hour drive is there another location where I can replace the phone around the Bankstown area?

How to use iMessage for specific contacts iphone 5

I'm thinking this is impossible, but I thought I'd post and see if I could get an answer. I am running short on data and have unlimited texts and therefore I turned iMessage off because I don't have access to WiFi anywhere. But I found out that it's the only way that I can contact some friends that are out of the country. Is there a way that I can enable iMessage only for those people and leave it disabled for everyone else? I've looked through the forums and searched for the answer, but I can't even find someone who has the same problem as me. Any help would be appreciated.

iphone 5 Battery drain when not using Wifi also gets hot.

Recently I have been experiencing problems with my iphone 5, if I am away from a wifi connection I experience high battery drain & the phone will sometimes get hot.Generally I am in the office or at home & the phone will be connected to a wifi hotspot, however yesterday I was out of the office in meetings etc, I didn’t have access to any wifi so used 3G data, I was in London in areas with generally good 3G coverage.  The battery went from 100% to 0% in 9 hours with what I would call minimal usage as follows.4 minutes worth of calls.25 received emails5 sent emails9 photos taken1 hour streaming music via Bluetooth20 minutes reading from news stand5 minutes in the facebook app5 minutes using the Maps app2 minutes viewing London Tube Map app  This appears to be a problem with the data receiving part of the phone as when I have access to wifi the battery life is generally fine.  I have had iPhones for about 3 years & never had issues like this. Has anyone else experienced similar problems?

iOS 7 Shows I have 4.7Gb of Messages Saved I cannot delete. How can I remove these so I can back up to iTunes No Messages in my inbox either. iphone 5

Hopefully someone here can help me...  My iCloud always shows my backup as being 4.8GB, even with EVERYTHING turned off. After downloading iOS 7 I figured out the problem: I have 4.8 GB of  "Messages (Saved)". This is even after deleting ALL my messages. I'm not sure what this could be. I tried PhoneCleaner, i FunBox, and everything else I can find, but I can't find a way to access or view these messages to delete them. Could someone help me? I can't back anything up to iCloud with it like this.Note: this was happening even before i upgraded to iOS 7.

Hey,I tried updating my 4s today and my phone got stuck in recovery mode. I have nothing backed up and over a years worth of data on my aps aswell as very important baby photos that I was hoping I wouldnt lose. I have tried holding lock/home a few times and does not work, also I have tried RecBoot with the same outcome. I am getting very worried and cant access my phone. Is there any ways I can either cancel the update or exit recovery without restoring the phone ? Thanks in advance !!!

Can t see Cellular Data Network menu iphone

Hello, I recently bought a brand new unlocked iphone 5 (iOS 6.1.4 10B350) in person at a Mac store.  I have set up the phone & data service with AirVoice Wireless (an MVNO that uses the AT&T network).  AV does not guarantee that MMS will work for iPhones on their service.  That is fine -- I knew that going into this.  However, when I tried to set up MMS anyway following AV's instructions, I couldn't do it because I cannot see the "Cellular Data Network" menu option under Settings-->General-->Cellular.  The person at AV I spoke with said that I couldn't see the CDN option because my phone wasn't unlocked, which is difficult to believe seeing as I specifically bought an unlocked phone.  So, why can't I see the CDN option if my phone is unlocked?  And how can I gain access to it? Any help/advice would be much appreciated. Sincerely,Mike (an iphone newbie)

iphone 5 Screen won't turn on

A couple days ago, I dropped my iphone 5 in water. I put the phone in rice to dry out. After letting it sit in the rice for a couple days, I took it out. The phone works completely fine, I'm recieving calls and text messages, and I plugged the phone into the computer and it's at 60% battery. However, I can't access my phone. When I try turning it on, the screen is black, and it remains black. I've tried holding down the power button and the home button, but the Apple logo doesn't show up. How can I get the screen to start working again? I got my phone from Sprint, would I be able to take it into Apple and get help or would I have to go to Sprint?

VNC from iphone to mac without wifi

Hello everyone, I'd like to know if it is possible to VNC from my iphone/ipad to my macbook without wifi? I use real VNC viewer to access my Macbook (which has Real VNC Enterprise Server installed) using my iphone/ipad and it works well when I have Internet. However, I'd also like to be able to control my mac from my iphone in the same fashion when I do not have access to WIFI or wired Internet. I have scoured the net for answers and while there are plenty of links for controlling your iDevice from your Mac, there is seemingly nothing out there that shows you how to do the reverse in the absence of Wifi. I have read about SSH tunneling via a tethered USB connection but have not found any comprehensive instructions as to whether such a method would work to control my Macbook with my iphone/iPad. I was hoping there would be devices such as receivers plugged into the USB port that would allow this sort of interaction when no Internet is available but haven't come across any. Does anyone know if this can be done? Thanks.

wi-fi issues since latest iOs update iphone 5

Since I updated my iphone 5 to the latest iOS version 6.1.4 (10B350), I have experienced several ongoing issues with Wi-Fi connectivity.  Is anyone else experiencing issues?  For example, I can no longer get a stable wireless connection from my bedroom or bathroom in my flat, whereas I previously had full strength and access to the internet. I have checked with my ISP and there are no issues with broadband in my (small!) flat and my wireless router is working perfectly.  The wireless connection drops occasionally, both in my flat when I am connected and also when I am out and about.  This change immediately happened once I updated my iOS to the new version 6.1.4 (10B350).  Any thoughts?

I had recently changed my password on my iphone 5, next time I went to open my phone it wouldn't except the password I thought I had changed it to. Now I'm locked out of my phone and it just says connect to itunes. I connected to my itunes but it won't let me access anything from the phone since its locked and I need my password. I have never personally backed up my phone. When purchasing the phone the lady told me since I have icloud it gets automatically backed up and I had also purchased extra later. iphone 4S keeps disconnecting WIFI frequently when in use

    My iphone suddenly began disconnecting frequently from my access point like every 4 seconds, maybe every minute. it just disconnects randamly,i have had this issue for two days now . I restored my iphone to IOS 6.1.3 and yet the issue is still preserved , so i reset my router and my access point to their default setting and still the WIFI keeps on disconnecting. I even tested my iphone to connect to my Uncle's wifi access point and still it disconnects from it frequently.My iphone has never suffered any damage. it has never fallen on the ground and not even scratched.The disconnection here is not that the iphone disconnects from the wifi when i lock the phone but it's worse it disconnects when the phone is in use even if I am downloading something from the app store or streaming a video on youtube and then it will automatically reconnect again which is pretty annoying especially if i am using a VOIP service .i tried everything now and seems nothing helps. Is this a Hardware or a software problem ?, i would be glad to hear from other users that i am not the only one affected by it. I live in Egypt, is there Apple Support in here ?, Any suggestions will Greatly help me .

Please help- its my understanding that iphone stores where you have been (location history). When I was searching the Internet to see if I could access this info, I found Pete wardens iphone tracker download (I think it came out in April 2011), but then I read that apple fixed this problem of storing this info on your computer too, by releasing a software update shortly after. Is that correct? If I backup my iphone to computer will it have a file on there that stores the history of where I and my iphone have been? Or is this no longer the case? I desperately need a log with time stamps, I need to prove where I have been in the last week (marriage problems). Two reasons why I would not by an iphone again

Hi all, yesterday I had two requirements from my iphone 4 and none of them was fulfilled, so I decided that this is my last Apple device. If any of you can change my mind, go ahead a try. 1st, I wanted to copy a file (pdf) from my local drive at home and then open it in ezPDF Reader. So I used NetPortalLite to access my drive and downloaded the file inside the NetPortalLite. But when I wanted to move the file to ezPDF app it didn't let. Why it is so complicated to move files between apps? I have tried to copy in NetPortalLite, then paste in ezPDF Reader... it didn't work! 2nd, I wanted to access my local drive at home to run a video file. This function is available only in paid apps, although other mobile OS have this ability. Why it is not possible to browse local drives directly from the iOS or Safari? Is it so hard to implement this function to the iOS and make it available by SMB://IP_ADDRESS or \IP_ADDRESS? Thanks

I have been trying to update my iphone's software for the past few weeks due to my current provider not being found. (A bar that says "Searching" is always at the top where my 3G should be.) Yet whenever I try directly from my iphone, it always end with an error message. So, yesterday I tried updating directly from itunes and I let it download the new update and all that. However, after it finished trying to update my iphone, it put my iphone in a recovery mode and I've been trying to fix it eversince. I can not access my iphone, all it has is an icon saying to connect to itunes. I've tried troubleshooting, checking my software, updating my computer etc. yet it still leaves me with this message: "The iphone "iphone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (-1)." I've looked on the apple site and I've made sure my security is up to date, my computer is up to date, my itunes is up to date and that I have restarted my computer. I am very irritated and I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do because my warranty is over with apple and I still have a few years on my contract. Okay heres the deal,       I got a new iphone two days ago and yesterday it was causing problems so when I called to get it fixed they made me back it up to my iCloud but they made me set it up as a new phone. So here goes... I have broken the screen on my iphone 5, it is completly shot but  i can plug it in to itunes. The problem is that i have a passcode on the iphone so i am unable to bacup the phone in itunes as i can not enter the passcode.Is there any way i can remotley access the phone and enter the passcode. I have a new iphone 5 and want to sinc it with the data on my old phone, If anyone can suggest a way around this i would be forever in their debt. I have no old bacup or icloud or the like. Another iphone disabled question- iphone 4S

Hi All, So I have disbled my iphone 4s by forgetting my passcode (like it seems many other people do!). Also as the phone went dead as I was away for the weekend the SIM is also locked. I have often backed it up to iCloud but I never had the camera roll back up option ticked as I cannot see it when I sign into iCloud. I dont have iTunes on my laptop or access to the original iTunes where it was synced a year and a half ago. My question is can I get the phone unlocked by Apple? ( I have the IMEI number and proof of purchase) Is there any way of keeping or getting my photos/videos and messages? When I had my phone plugged into the laptop and was clicking backup through wifi will this have also backed up my photos? Thanks!

Issues after 6.1.4 update iphone 5

IS anyone else having issues after the 6.1.4 update? Here is what I have experienced in the last two days.  1- Unable to access a locked or secure network.  It asks for password initially.  When entered, it is unable to connect.  I restart and then go to Settings, find the network and click.  I never get a prompt for the password, just "Unable to Connect" 2-Bluetooth.    I can after a few attempts to connect my Bluetooth headphones, only after I get a "Failed attempt" a few times.  Then only music works, unable to make phone calls.  This happens with two different products.  A SENA SMH 10R and LG HBS 700.   3- Music play - I found this issue out when trying to figure out problem with Bluetooth.  I can start to play a song fine, but if I click on the ">>" or "<< "  it freaks the player out and then skips multiple songs or stops play and goes back to the playlist.  At first it was doing this with the Bluetooth headphones when using it to make selections.  So I deleted the devices and the iphone continued to do it when selecting functions on the screen.  Some playlists did it and some don't.  Creating a new playlist did not help.  Additional Info.Apple Store replaced my iphone on Saturday 5.4.13 because if antina issues.  The issues above came after I restored from backup and updated the OS.  I have erased the phone 2 times since getting the new phone and restored from back up and rebuilt from Itunes and neither way makes a difference above. What is going ON?   Message was edited by: Karl Kroeker  Corrected Version update

Spyware is very easily accessible and requires nothing from the Apple store, and although I realize some of these posts are several years old-at this point, it is simply misinformation.  All one needs is a similar program to the one in the link above and not only can your sms messages be accessed, your calls be intercepted and recorded, but the camera in your phone can be remotely accessed and activated at any given time without your knowledge.  As you tap away on your handy little iphone you love so much, in whatever possibly "compromising" or embarrassing position you may be in at the time, a creeper can be looking you straight in your face or observing your enviornement at their leisure.  Imagine the horror in finding out that you were sitting there on the toilet gaming and someone was watching you the whole time or better yet, while you were involved in an intimate interaction while your phone sat charging on a dock on the nightstand next to the bed?  How about knowing that every incoming and outgoing communication is recorded and documented for the creep to scroll and read through like a book?    This is some scary stuff, and it's been used on me via an encrypted picture message.  I've done a full restore of my iphone and the pc used for backing up via iTunes to ensure that the spyware wasn't then rooted into the pc or the iTunes, and was even told to create an etirely new Apple ID, but aside from this and there being no true scanning software for malware, spyware or viruses for the iphone-how can I be sure that this encrypted software has truly been eradicated?  Is there an antiviral program that I am unware of?  I'm not looking for a secure AVG browser, I'm looking for a detect and destroy scanner program. <Link Edited by Host>

Recently whenever I try updating my apps a message pops up saying "sign in required, please sign in to view billing information" so I sign in and it takes me to the payment options page, there I have all my correct data inserted which I checked about 5 times, but it says "access denied, please Chios another payment method". Hi guys, I've used apple for 5 years now. Started with an iphone 3GS and since then I could not use any other brand as a Cel Phone, and I tried, believe me I tried. I used an iphone 4 for 3 years without having any problem, without having to even call Apple. Then, by the end of the last year I went to London for a trip. I bought an iphone 5 and came back to my home country, that is Brazil...Used it for 4 months or so and it started having problems with the wake and sleep button, then I thought, "ok, apple is a worldwide company, they are reliable, that's the main reason for me to have bought it for so long and the phone still in warranty, they will trade it for me" so I called apple...For the first time in 5 years...And I did not get answered properly. Apple states that since I bought the iphone in london, they warranty can only be used for trading the phone in london...I have no intentions of going to london this year, what meand I will lose my warranty and the money I spent with my iphone.  To clarify, I did go to Washington for a better support, but they stated the same...I called apple and they stated that the iphone is broken and needs to be traded but it can only be done in london. An analyst called James Downs told me to call apple regent street that's the one where I bought the iphone and when I called there for getting my money back because they are not providing the proper support for my iphone they state that I need to take the iphone to the store... End of the story, I have a broken iphone, I am frustrated with apple, because they are acting as they do not care for the costumer at all. In my point of view, they should escalate the problem, call the brazilian store and trade my phone or ship me a brand new one. I took the iphone to different stores in different countries that I have access and so far nothing. Apple does not care, my iphone is 4 months old and is already broken...If nothing is done I'll be very frustrated, I'll be at least ****** because it seems I'll not have my money back because the store states they will not do that even though an apple consultant says it and I have no way of taking the phone to the store. Please, can anybody from apple help me with that? I really want my phone or my money...If you can just ship me a new one I'll be ok with that..But you should do something, you are apple, not some other ****** company around the world, will you not honor your brand?

Hello, Does anyone know where I can find the complete description of all the individual data presented in Field Test Mode on an iphone (via dialing *3001#12345#*)? Yup, I know what the basic decible strength means, but looking to interpret all of the other details.   My goal is to find the ideal configuration for a cellular frequency booster/repeater directional antenna and am getting some odd readings so far. The fact that I am in a mountain rural area and have scarce access to two competing cellular towers miles away complicates the task. The Field Test Mode data would help refine the direction of the consitantly strongest signal.   Peace,Dr. Z.

WI FI grayed out iphone 4S

My WI-FI is not working for 15 days, since I upgraded the software to 6.1.3. The buttom is grayed out.There was a huge forum over more than 210 pages about the subject but seems like Apple prefer to erase the forum because I can not access it anymore. I tried everything.1. Turn on and off2. Flight mode3. Reset Network connections4. Reset the iphone - ITUNES. Everything, more than once, thousand times... and nothing. I read that the only solution is to replace or the iphone or the hardware. My warranty expired a month ago. The repair seems to cost over 200 €!!! Is there anyone that could fix the problem without "Apple support"?The downgrade to ios 5 works?  Hello, Apple..!!! Is there any extended warranty in this case?? It was not my problem, this should be a recall. The product is yours and the software too.I am very disappointed!!

Recover data from water damaged phone-Its in DFU mode iphone 5

I got my phone wet but more importantly i need the data from it (mainly the videos i took). Iv recovered files from a Itunes Data Back Up but i need to access the files that are on my phone that werent saved or synced to my PC. Iv tried wondershare and other 3rd party programmes but they all wont detect my phone because its not on. When i plug my phone into itunes it saids it needs to be 'restored' for it to be used. if i do this i will lost all the data thats on the phone. is there anyway i can access the hard drive of the phone and by pass the DFU mode. Apple said they will give me a new 64 gb factory refurbished iphone if i send my phone back to them and give them 300NZD. however, if i take the phone apart that will void the warranty. anyone?
