I got Iphone5 to give gift to my mom on motherday i bought it from online i have also proof of purchase i go to apple store to book an oppoitment in regent street but i find the guy who treat me very badly first he too my phone go inside the lab after 20 minutes he com back and ask me proof of purchase i showed him after he told me can you come tomrrow we will fix it it will take time i said to him keep my phone for fixation and give me one paper as a receipt after he replied me we will fix it now please wait for 20minutes i said ok after 20 minutes he came back and said we can not fix this because you dont have proof of purchase i said i show you early but he said we dont accept that we cant deal with you.It seems may i criminal the way he treat me or something else i am shocked because next to me there is a lady and she is attractive as well one of apple employe treat such a nice way i feel happy the way he treats him she brings her sister phone the Apple employe change her phone straight way but in my case they ignore me.I dont know what is wrong with me because the way he treats me just ignoring me...i book oppoitment as name of(sazzad ahmed) at regent street time was 8.50 i cant remember the name of your employe because i was shocked the way of him to treat me such a worse thing for me in my life.Every time we preffer apple product because of his warranty services.please do something for me i am lso feeling ashamed this phone was a gift .

My iphone 4s wonnt accept charge and its at 0%, my warranty expired and I am wondering if changing the battery would fix it? I have tried restarting it and all that.  (If its not the battery what part is it?) When I try to charge it, it says its charging, and I cannt get past that.

iphone 4s Mail App using Gmail-Username or password for account incorrect

I recently changed my Gmail password for my Gmail account while on my desktop pc. Then on my iphone 4s, I configured the Google app (for the first time) for my Gmail account. This worked fine. I went back to the default iphone Mail app (in Settings) which was already configured with my Gmail account (and was previously working). I figured I would be prompted to change my password - which I was. But it wouldn't accept the change. So I then deleted the account and tried to set it up again. It still won't work. It continues to say the username or password for the account is incorrect.  Can you not have the same Gmail account configured in both places - the Mail app and the Google app? Thoughts?Thanks!Lori

You can not ship it to Apple in Australia from outside of the country. They will not accept the shipment, nor will they ship a replacement outside of the country. You will either have to take it back there yourself or send it to someone you know there to take it in for service.

I know that its most likely a hardward issue as stated in the forum. Now here is the problem.  I bought the iphone from a local (philippines) online reseller http://lazada.com.ph.  Lazada would only give the the apple 1-800-1441-0234 number and will not accept any repairs and service.  I would never purchase anything from lazada specially electronics because of how they handled my case. Absolutely no support and repair /service channels for iphones bought from them.  As per lazadas advice, I called the 1800 number and was again adviced to call the local carriers.  I was adviced by the apple chat support to contact my local carriers. Local carriers like smart and globe would only accept repairs and service for iphones bought from them. I visited several local apple reseller stores and they decline to render service because the unit was not bought from them. I cant seem to get technical support and have the iphone checked by an authorized service center. What and where is the proper channel for me to get support and have the unit repaired or replaced? Thank you in advance.

I had to take my phone in because the camera was broken.  I backed up the data on itunes and took the phone into the Apple store.  They gave me a new phone and said to just restore it from my latest backup.  When I select the restore point to use, itunes asks me for a password.  I didn't set a password when I backed up the old phone and iTunes doesn't accept my iTunes account password.  How can I get my new phone restored with the backup I did just prior to giving my phone to Apple?

About three days ago my iphone decided to display the incorrect time at first it was an easy fixjust correct it using the clock app-thingy, then it got worse, so I shut it down that worked and hasstayed that way and me and my iphone became friends again.... UNTILI got home to charge it, I put it on the charger and it didn't take. Windows 7 Laptop and iphone 4S

I have a laptop with Windows 7 with current version of ITunes 11.0.2.26 and have the iphone 4S with the current iOS 6.1.3  Itunes is seeing my iphone, but the laptop is not seeing it properly.  Once the iphone is connected it will charge and connect to ITunes, but Windows doesn't show the device as having the proper driver.  In "Hardware" setting of the laptop, the iphone doesn't show up so I can not make the iphone to show up in My Computer as a hard drive device.  My reason to get this to work is to remove the videos from my phone.  I have tried to use ICloud to transfer to other devices and download, but it won't accept videos just my computers.  I need assistance to get the iphone to show up as a hard drive, but as previously mentioned the problem lays with the laptop not having the proper driver.  I have done the following corrective measures: Uninstall and reinstalled ITunesI have held the powere and home button on the iphone while being connected to the laptop.I have looked into registry correction, but the incorrect text is not in the registry.   Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to lose these videos because non compatibility issues. If this is going to be on going occurrence I will have to give up using Apple products. Thank you.

iphone 4 semi white screen help

I bought my iphone around August of last year, by december it was flickering.. asking my brother the tech geek what was wrong, he said it was probably the LCD shorting out and would probably die, but could last for months like that. By January, it was out, you can still see a change int he screen when you hit the home button and the home screen changed to the search screen... but i cant see anything else... it still works fine, i use voice control to call out.. and you can run your finger along the bottom of the screen to accept incoming calls.... ive even accidentally turned on apps and the like by touching the screen... Thinking apple wouldnt replace this, because they might assume i caused it.. my brother bought a new LCD/Screen for it... it hasnt worked.. so he took his own phone apart and placed my OLD screen/lcd to his.. it works fine on his phone.. what could be causing this white screen, considering its not the LCD.. and how can i fix this problem?? i REALLY dont want to replace a brand new phone..... again.

can i take iphone 4s into genius after been to service centre

HiSent my iphone 4S into service centre as it was not charging the battery anymore. They have told me that there is physical damage to the dock connector and that i have to pay a "Fee".I spent a long time on the phone with them explaining that this is rubbish, the phone is always in a full case and i've always used the original sync cable, never rammed it in, never even found it tight or anything, etc etc. There is no way that the dock has been damaged so i suggested that something may have failed in the connector itself and then when i have plugged the sync cable in it has caused the issue? They totally dismissed this and told me to make the choice - pay the fee or have a dead iphone back.I am not prepared to accept this, my iphone gets treated like the crown jewels and no way has it been subject to damage - i want to know if i received it back and took into a genius bar to explain would there be a chance they would repair or replace (The phone is still in the 1yr warranty)Any advice or assistance would really be appreciated - my long standing faith in APple is dimishing very fast!

My fourteen year old brother keeps figuring out the wifi password in our home. He is not allowed to have it AT ALL, and this infuriates me because now that he has figuered it out YET AGAIN my father might take away wifi all together and tie everyone down to wires..... so... is it possible to block one iphone from using the internet at all hours of the day... like even if he figures out what the password is again can the wifi not accept his iphone as a suitable device? Now before you go on about saying that he shouldnt have an iphone if we dont want him to have internet, we've got it all figured out. He doenst have internet on his iphone, we turned that off and we only allow him to use the phone for games, music, texting, and calling, and so that we can use the tracking device on it to keep him safe, the one problem is that he keeps figureing out the password to our wifi and thus gives himself internet access that he is not allowed to have at all.  SO after you have read my little tale please help me answer this one question: Is it possible, whether through an app or through our wifi, to block him from using wifi PERMANANTLY. Thanks

how to get photos from iphone 5 with unresponsive screen

My iphone was dropped a few days ago and the screen became unresponsive. All the buttons work fine, but I can't swipe to turn it on or enter my passcode. I took the phone to an Apple store and was told by a not-nice guy that there was nothing they could do and that I could not get any of my photos off of the phone because I had the phone passcode protected. I thought Apple wanted everyone to passcode their phones! I wish I had known that this would prevent me from accessing my photos if anything happened to my phone. I have sadly come to accept that my phone cannot be fixed and that I will need to shell out big bucks for a replacement. However, I cannot accept that there is no way to retrieve the material on my phone. When I plug the phone into the computer, it is recognized fine and stuff will download to the phone. However, iTunes tells me that it cannot synch FROM the phone until I enter the passcode on the phone, which of course, I cannot do .   I am really hoping that someone will know some trick to getting stuff off of a phone with an unresponsive screen. Please, please help this very sad iphone user.  The photos are all the photos I have of my young daughter. I know, I should have learned to to back my phone up, but when I tried a few months ago, I couldn't figure it out, so I have no backup. I even tried to set up iCloud, but I couldn't figure that out either. I suppose I deserve to lose all the photos from my daughter's babyhood . Thanks for helping if you can! (please!!)

If want to replace the device should come with the original receipt?Or they will see that it was purchased from them by its serial number? the reception is under the name of my uncle.   The most important thing about it: I have 280 songs on my iphone, if I replace the iphone they can pass the songs to the new new phone?   If I decide to replace the iphone, I will get a new device out of the box and the same model (verizon a1429 CDMA) and size (32 GB)?The iphone is brand new or refurbished? New iphone shows Verizon as carrier but will not accept Verizon s card iphone 5

I purchased a new Verizon iphone 5 over the internet.  The new phone shows the carrier as "Verizon 14.1" however Verizon does not have the MEID in their database and when I insert a Verizon sim card, I get an error that only Compatible Sim cards will work.  Verizon is investigating to see what is causing this.  Does anyone have any idea what may have happened?

iOS 6.1.3 update deleted my MacBook Pro calendars iphone 4S

While syncing my iphone 4S to iTunes yesterday, I received and downloaded the iOS 6.1.3 update for iphone (connecting to my MacBook Pro).  After the sync, I pulled up my calendars on MacBook and discovered they had suddenly been completely wiped out.  My iphone and iPad still have the current calendars, as does iCloud, but the MacBook information has been completely deleted.  Now I will not sync my devices to the Mac for fear their calendars will also be deleted.  I've searched both iCloud and my Mac, but I can't figure out how to sync or export the calendars from iCloud back to my laptop. My MacBook Pro runs on OS X 10.8.3.  For the many years I have used ical, this has never happened before.  Any suggestions?  Thanks so much!

Find Friends Not working after iphone change

I recently had to swap my iphone 4s at the Apple store, when I got back I did a restore and all seems OK. The only thing is that in find friends, my friends can not see me. We have tried removing friends/ Follows and tried again, they get the invite and I get the notification they have accepted, but they can not see my location but I can see theirs, any ideas? TIA

APP STORE WONT LET ME UPDATE MY APPS iphone 3G

its been a while now since i updated my apps and i faced a problem where it wont let me .i wanted to download an app but it didnt accept my password!i clicked update and then it asked me for my password whcih i typed in, then it it said Your Apple ID or password is incorrect. with the options of cancel or retry. so i did at least 5 times and kept doing it everyday but it still wouldnt work!! so i decided to log out and use another apple ID this time it let me download apps how ever it still wouldnt let me update. this time when it asked for the password the account dispayed was the old one (account that didnt accept the password) i got confused as to why it was still the old apple ID displayed when in fact i was signed in with another Apple ID? so i put the password from the old account ....still nothing worked, tried the password from the Current Id i am signed in with still none!!! i logged onto the apple website and there was problems there too!! i got the password changed and everything but it still wont let me update any of my apps!! and this is not just in one phone but two !! iphone 5 and iphone4  is there a bug on my phone ? how do i fix this ?  i think the problem started when i updated to io6 like a while after i updated it

My friend put a passcode on my phone and now doesnt remember it. My last back up was on the 19/11/12 and I since have many photo's of christmas, our first family holiday and the one that matters most is a photo and a video of a loved one that is no longer with us. I will accept loosing contacts etc, but im shattered about maybe loosing photo's and the video. Ive connected to itunes and pressed sync, but I cant get passed step 2 of 6. Please help, any advice greatly appreciated.  It is also a business phone, so at the moment I can recieve incoming calls but I can't read text messages. i've entered over 50 passcodes so far, but just keep getting disabled, from 1 minute to 60 minutes.

I have successfully integrated my Facebook calender with the calendar on my iphone with iOS6, but I would like to be able to remove individual events from the calendar on my iphone so it's less cluttered. I have tried declining the invite on facebook, but it makes no difference. I also don't want to simply un-sync events. Any ideas?

I have recently received an email from Vodafone Uk to inform me that my iphone has been unlocked. replacement for iphone 5

Hello out there, bought my iphone in singapore, but using it in indonesia.The phone is now dead, went back to singapore (@starhub) to ask for a replacement (they decline since i don't have a receipt). I tried taking it to the local service centre here, but they can't help me. Anyone can give me a suggestion on what to do? It's pretty new (bought dec 2012) but now completely useless.... Willing to pay for the replacement but no one would accept.  APPLE PEOPLE...help out here! How can we get Apple to address bent iphone 5 problem

Passwords not working for WiFi and iMessage iphone 5

I updated to iOS 6.0.2 on my iphone and now none of my passwords work. I cannot connect to the same WiFi at home or office that i was able to connect to yesterday, even though every other Apple product I own still can, and with the same password. And I cannot register my phone number in iMessage because it will not accept my password (the same password that works on my iPad and iMac) rendering iMessage useless on all of my devices.  All I get is an "incorrect password" notification.  I've tried turning iMessage off and on again, logging out of iMessage and logging in again, I reset network settings, a hard reset, a sync, and nothing seems to be working.  Also, it may or may not be related, but I noticed in Settings > General > Restrictions that the "set passcode" does not work when trying to enable restrictions.

Photostream invitation won t accept iphone 3G

I am trying to invite my sister to my photo stream and I am trying to join her photo stream but for some reason, our invitations just aren't working. We each receive the invitation, but it then says 'invitation revoked by user' or words to that effect.  My sister had the same problem with my father's invitation and I did not so I am assuming the problem lies with her phone. Can anyone suggest any troubleshooting tips here? All our devices are on iOS 6 here btw. Best regards Felix

8G not enough on iphone 4 options

Hi- sorry I don't know if this new-ish phone to me is CDMA or GSM (carrier is Sprint/Nextel if that helps).  I got this iphone 4/8Gig "free" a few weeks ago but I'm finding that between the new, wonderous world of apps now open to me, and my existing music library, 8gigs is coming up short. I don't suppose there is any options increase the space in this device, without getting a whole new device?  It sure would be great if it at least had a slot for a micro card for extra storage like on my old, crappy, dumb-phone (which I could use as an oversized mp3 player... if I could only find it.)  I'm not a big fan of the new 'cloud' based solutions, as they depend on too many variables that are out of my controll, with the probablility of leaving me without my music.  Plus, the delay is anoying.  My area is lite on the available technology and cell service.  Can an iphone 4 accept additional memory space upgrades?

Bought an iphone 5 two days ago and found out that there was a glitch/crack between the screen and casing. I also had light leakuage at the power button. Returned it to the service provider and they tell me Apple wont replace it. Instead I´ll get a refurbished one ! Naturally this destroyed the entire good feeling I hade about the phone. According to my SP, Apple is the only company that doesnt replace faulty products and doesnt accept DOA (Dead On Arrival) ! To me this sounds like Apple is getting a bit smug and self-righteous?  Maybe I get a good refurbished phone, but i doubt it cuz the company that do it have very bad reputation! Do u have the same policys were u live?

Erasing content and data on iphone 5.

I sold my iphone 5 and I erased all content and data using the option found in the Settings tab and after that, the person told me he wanted me to activate it for him using my sim card, because he had a phone that didn't have the nano sim card. So, I activated again and then, he told me to turn it off first before removing the sim card. I'm not sure why he asked this, but I wanted to make sure this wasn't anything sketchy. After that, I went to the ATT store to get my nano sim card replaced to a standard sim card, because my old phone doesn't accept the nano sim. Am I okay? Or do I need to worry about something? He's a professor at my university, so I don't think I need to worry, but just need reassurance. Thanks.

I finally upgraded to a iphone 5 from my old 3G and I cannot get it to connect ot my home WiFi.  It can see the WiFi and I have WEP encription on the network using a Netgear WGT624v3 wireless router and 128bit encryption and when I enter the password, the iphone gives me an "incorrect Password" warning.  I have tried several times to enter it and even texted it to the phone and copied and pasted it to avoid any typos to no avail.  I have powered down the router, removed the encryption, tried another encryption key, rebooted the iphone but cannot get it to connect.  This is a router with a 802.11 g and b protocol working on channel 11 and I have not had issue with our iPad 2, my wife's iphone 3GS, my old iphone 3G or our Macbook Pro.  I also tried to enter the network manually and it just does not want to accept the password whether it needs one or not.  What am I not doing correctly?  I say that there were some issues when people upgraded from an earlier operating system to the current one but this is a new phone as of yesterday??

iphone 4 trade ins

I recently cracked the back plate of my iphone 4. I intend to replace it with a brushed aluminum backing which is in the mail. I later intend to trade in my iphone for an iphone 5. Due to the different back panel, will AT&T/Apple accept my product which would be in otherwise mint condition?
