Syncing to two systems iPhone

Is there a way to have your iPhone recognized by two computers without messing things up? I keep mine synced to my Mac Pro but Im going on vacation and might want to load some things on from my Macbook Pro whilst Im away (Photos, video, whatnot). I am pretty sure that there isnt, havent done the leg work to check and thought I would just ask.
